I ordered a grilled kebab, and with two grilled siks, two dooghs, and a Shirazi jam salad, the total came to €43. It was very expensive. The food was tasteless at all. I will never order from this restaurant again.

We were visiting Hamburg and originally only intended to have a late breakfast, but we were so impressed that we ended up going there once or twice a day all week, sampling the fantastic Persian cuisine. Whether breakfast or lunch, everything tasted delicious! The staff was very friendly and happy to tell us about the ingredients when we asked... my highlight was the carrot marmalade ;)

As a family of four, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. Since we are quite familiar with Persian cuisine, we can say that the food here was particularly impressive. The service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is located in the Perle shopping center, which has a certain ambiance – but for us, everything worked out perfectly.

The food here is prepared with great care and love – and is of high quality! It has become our regular restaurant. I highly recommend it: a pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious dishes. What more could you want?

The meat in some Persian restaurants in Hamburg was incredibly delicious; it was very, very tasty and juicy.

I tried the Fesenjan stew at this restaurant. Considering the ingredients available in Germany and the fact that some of these ingredients are not as good as the Iranian ones (like pomegranate paste), and the reasonable price compared to other Iranian restaurants in Hamburg, I thought the quality was very good and I definitely recommend you try it. Of course, the amount of chicken stew could be a little more.

Who would have thought you could embark on a little culinary journey to Iran right in the middle of a shopping center? Safran Garden is just such a find. No parking stress – there are plenty of parking garages – but free parking? Well, those are probably as rare as a flight to Tehran for €19.99. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the incredibly warm owner. And as if that weren't charming enough, the chef himself came by to advise us – you don't experience that every day. It makes you feel truly valued as a guest. The ambiance is, of course, strongly reminiscent of a food court – naturally, since we were in one. But honestly, that's precisely what makes it so appealing. Despite it being a Saturday evening, the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed – perhaps because we were almost the last ones there, or perhaps simply because Safran Garden exudes such a sense of calm. The bistro is a bit more expensive than the surrounding area, but the quality of the food absolutely justifies it. The dishes were incredibly delicious – fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. If I could make a request, though (and I'm officially doing so now 😄): Please, please add Kashk-e Bademjan or Kuku Sabzi to the menu. A few additional hot and cold appetizers would be fantastic. The hot main courses are excellent, but the appetizer selection could definitely be expanded. All in all: A very charming place with great food, lovely people, and an atmosphere that works wonderfully despite being in a shopping center. We'll definitely be back – with big appetites and even bigger hopes for more appetizers!

We ordered the mixed grill platter, which included almost all of the restaurant's grilled meats. The taste of every single piece was excellent, and even the drinks, salad, yogurt, and everything else were of outstanding quality. Furthermore, the friendly and welcoming manner of the lady and gentleman who run the restaurant ensures that I will return every time I travel to Hamburg.

Unfortunately, my visit to Safran Garden was disappointing. The food was barely edible – bland in taste and of unconvincing quality. The service was also only moderately attentive. Overall, not an experience I would recommend.

The food was Great, particularly Ghajari, which was the combination of Mahiche and Fesenjoon. I highly recommend it to anyone who misses the Iranian taste. The hospitality was great with super friendly staff.

Unfortunately, I can only give this restaurant one star because the people there were really nice... But that's about it. We ate there with four people, and everything was prepared in a Ninja air fryer. The owner seems to love it a lot, as he has four of them on site. Out of four people, two got a rasher... The meat was apparently not digestible...a strange consistency and lacked grilled flavors. It was also quite dry, like the rice; a side sauce might have made it a bit more pleasant... In conclusion, it's hazardous to my health, and I can definitely make it better at home. P.S. The saffron ice cream tasted like bath bombs. Disgusting.

Food was dissapointing, no spices whatsoever. Rice was bland, no raisins, no pistachios. Meat had nothing special, a bit salty but no persian flavours. It's not bad, but the prices don't justify the mediocre taste.

The quality of the food was not very satisfactory.

The food was okay, not the best nor the worst. The curry in my dish was a bit sour (Gheyme) which I did not like that much. The portion was good but I could not finish it due to the sourness in dish.. it also felt a weird aftertaste in my mouth. The Persian tea was ok as well. I feel the place is a bit overhyped and overrated. Overall an average food place. It has a nice atmosphere and the guy is genuinely caring for his customers.

The real taste of persian food. I tried a lot of persian restaurant in different cities of Germany but i honestly can say it was the 1st rank in my opinion. I ordered vaziry with baghali polo and it was perfect😊 after that I took a tea, that one was also perfect.

We really enjoyed eating Chelo Kebab Kobideh and Shishlik at this restaurant. I am an Iranian living in Denmark and I wished there was a restaurant like this in my city. The food was incredibly good, the service was good, and the hygiene was excellent. It was a memorable experience for me.

This was truly one of the best dining experiences I've had in Hamburg! The Persian dishes at this restaurant were incredibly delicious and authentic. The Chelow kebab was fantastic—with aromatic rice and tender, juicy meat. The taste of saffron and sumac immediately reminded me of home. We were passing through Hamburg and decided to have dinner. We read the reviews on Google to go to an Iranian restaurant and went to this restaurant which was close to the hotel. We got a kebab tray for 55 euros...very poor quality: the kebab was only yellow in color and smell!!! The kebab chicken was dry and without flavor.. The rice was without any flavor. But the lady who brought us the food was very respectful

I recently took my foreign colleagues to this Iranian restaurant, and we were all very satisfied. The food was authentic and full of flavor—everyone especially enjoyed the kebabs and saffron rice.
