Khorshid Restaurant in Hamburg

Meine Frau und ich hatten das Vergnügen, das Restaurant Khorshid zu besuchen, und wurden dabei auf eine geschmackliche Reise in die persische und afghanische Küche entführt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das „Khorshid Spezial“, welches wir genossen haben – eine perfekte Kombination aus einem gemischten Lammfilet-Hähnchenbrust-Spieß und einem Lammhackspieß, serviert mit Grilltomaten. Die Qualität des Fleisches war hervorragend: zart, saftig und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Die Mischung aus fein abgestimmten Gewürzen brachte die Aromen des Orients zur Geltung, ohne dabei den Geschmack der einzelnen Zutaten zu überdecken. Auch die Beilagen waren liebevoll zubereitet und rundeten das Gericht perfekt ab. Der Service im Khorshid ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente schafft eine angenehme und authentische Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Für Liebhaber der orientalischen Küche und alle, die hochwertige, authentische Speisen schätzen, ist das Khorshid eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

am vergangenen Wochenende haben wir mit unserem Gutscheinbuch das Restaurant Khorshid besucht und hatten vorab mit der Reservierung kein Problem. Als wir reingekommen sind konnten wir uns einen Tisch aussuchen und bis zur Bestellung dauerte es dann auch nicht lange. Entgegen anderer Rezensionen hatten wir auch kein Problem mit der Wartezeit, die Vorspeise kam recht zügig und war sehr lecker. Dann kam aber auch schon direkt danach, der Hauptgang, und das war dann weniger optimal, denn da die Vorspeise noch gar nicht aufgegessen war, wurde der Hauptgang leider schon kühl, was sicherlich auch an den sehr kalten Tellern liegt.. Hier muss noch deutlich optimiert werden, damit es in Zukunft auch 5 Sterne geben kann, allerdings fehlte uns auch bei dem Hauptgang etwas die Zutaten, womit man das Fleisch welches an sich sehr lecker war, ein wenig die Trockenheit nehmen könnte, also z.B die ein oder andere Sauce dazu. Aber insgesamt war es ein gutes Essen und wir kommen mit Sicherheit irgendwann mal wieder

Kabab koobide and kabab barg war sehr lecker.

Wir haben uns pudelwohl dort gefühlt und das Essen genossen. Das Eis war nicht so meins, aber das lag nicht am Eis selber, sondern an mir. Meine Freundin hat es so sehr gemocht. 😃 Mein Getränk war außergewöhnlich und super lecker. Leider habe ich den Namen vergessen. Ich würde mir gerne noch ein wenig Wärme von der Atmosphäre her wünschen. Ansonsten waren wir wunschlos glücklich.

Essen ist super lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Super zart und reichlich auf dem Teller. Sehr nettes Personal.

Auf Empfehlung eines Freundes bin ich extra eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto hierher gefahren. Nachdem ich das Essen probiert habe, den frischen Salat gesehen habe und die Sauberkeit des Restaurants sowie die Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers erlebt habe, war ich wirklich begeistert. Das Beste war aber, dass das Essen sehr schnell serviert wurde und man nicht lange warten musste. Insgesamt war alles top – sowohl der Koobideh-Kebab als auch der Reis und der Kabab Barg haben super geschmeckt. Auch das frische Sabzi war hervorragend. Vielen Dank an das Restaurant Khorshid!

Das Restaurant ist sehr gut. Das Essen schmeckt lecker und frisch. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Koch kocht sehr gut. Wenn ich den Koch sehe, bringe ich ihm sicher ein Geschenk mit, weil das Essen so gut ist.

Absolute Enttäuschung! Waren dort vor Ort, weil wir einen Gutschein für den Schlemmerblock hatten. Essen: Dafür, dass das afghanisch, geschweige persisch sein soll, geschmacklich kaum bis eher gar nicht gewürzt! Lammhackfleisch total labbrig, nicht richtig durch. Ambiente: Geht so, Schwerpunkt scheint die Lieferung zu sein. Kleiner Raum mit ein paar Tischen, und etwas Deko an den Wänden. Service: Absolut schlecht. Die Vorspeise kam viel zu schnell nach dem ersten Brot. Und bei der Hälfte der Vorspeise kam das Hauptgericht! Zwischendurch wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob es schmeckt, oder ob man noch was benötigen würde. Als wir zahlen wollten, verschwand der Kellner auf einmal, anscheinend ist er eine Tour ausgefahren, und hat niemandem Bescheid gegeben. Also mussten wir diesbezüglich paar mal nachfragen. Haben noch nie so schnell essen „müssen“, nach 35 Minuten mit Vor -und Hauptspeise waren wir durch. Afghanische Küche, und vor allem Gastfreundschaft kenne ich anders. Alles in allem nicht empfehlenswert!

Wir sind gestern mit unserer Familie in dieses Restaurant gekommen und waren sehr begeistert. Der Service war wirklich hervorragend – das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr professionell. Auch das Essen war ausgezeichnet, alles war frisch, lecker und schön angerichtet. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich verstehe nicht, auf welcher Grundlage die Leute hier ihre Bewertungen abgeben. Es handelt sich um ein afghanisches Restaurant mit iranischen Gerichten, aber leider ist das Essen schlecht zubereitet, und es wird kein echter Safran verwendet. Auch der Kundenservice ist praktisch nicht vorhanden. Eigentlich ist es gar kein richtiges Restaurant – eher eine Großküche. Und die Preise sind mit denen von gehobenen Restaurants vergleichbar.

Ich war heute in diesem Restaurant und bin leider sehr enttäuscht vom Service und der Qualität. Zuerst wurde unsere Bestellung vergessen, sodass wir über 30 Minuten auf die Vorspeise warten mussten, obwohl das Restaurant fast leer war. Außerdem wurde mir eine Cola mit Cherry Geschmack serviert, obwohl ich eine normale Cola bestellt hatte. Auch auf die Hauptspeise mussten wir erneut warten. Als das Essen schließlich kam, war mein Gericht stellenweise hart. Zusätzlich befand sich ein Haar im Essen, was sehr unangenehm war. Als wir den Kellner darauf hingewiesen haben, kam nur eine kurze Antwort, dass es weitergegeben wird eine richtige Entschuldigung oder Lösung gab es nicht. Während wir gegessen haben, wurde neben den Gästen gefegt und geputzt, was sehr störend wirkte. Am Ende wurden wir auch nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Insgesamt war der Service sehr unaufmerksam und enttäuschend. Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen und werde nicht wiederkommen.

Das Essen war köstlich und von hoher Qualität. Die Portion Shirazi-Salat war ausgezeichnet, und das Koobideh war sehr lecker. Der Hähnchen-Kebab wäre noch besser gewesen, wenn die Stücke kleiner gewesen wären, damit er gleichmäßiger garen konnte. Das Personal war außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absolut empfehlenswert! 👍

Dieses schöne und gemütliche Restaurant mit köstlichen iranischen und afghanischen Speisen gehört zu meinen festen Favoriten, wenn ich Zeit mit Familie und Freunden verbringen möchte. Trotz der sehr herzlichen Atmosphäre und der vielfältigen Gerichte verfügt es über ein äußerst höfliches und freundliches Personal, das den Aufenthalt dort besonders angenehm macht. Ich empfehle euch, wenn ihr in Hamburg seid oder euch in der Nähe des Hamburger Flughafens befindet, die Gelegenheit nicht zu verpassen, Zeit in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant zu verbringen.

Leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Wir haben Kubida bestellt und das Hackfleisch war innen noch roh bzw. deutlich rosa und gleichzeitig trocken – geschmacklich einfach schlecht. Hackfleisch sollte grundsätzlich durchgebraten sein, das war hier definitiv nicht der Fall. Die Tomaten waren ebenfalls überhaupt nicht gegrillt, eher roh und lieblos beigelegt. Der absolute Tiefpunkt war jedoch der Umgang mit der Reklamation. Die Dame am Telefon hat mir praktisch unterstellt, ich würde lügen, und meinte, es gäbe sonst keine Beschwerden und alle seien immer zufrieden. Statt das Problem ernst zu nehmen, wurde mir erklärt, das Fleisch sei nicht roh, sondern „saftig“, und mir wurde indirekt abgesprochen, zu wissen, was ich esse. Sehr unprofessionell und respektlos. Als „Lösung“ wollte man dann erst intern beraten, ob man uns die Fleischspieße neu schickt – und verlangte zusätzlich, dass wir die alten, ungenießbaren Spieße wieder zurückgeben. Unfassbar. Fazit: Essen geschmacklich schlecht, Fleisch nicht korrekt zubereitet und ein Kundenservice, der Kritik nicht akzeptieren kann. Definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Für ein als persisch beworbenes Restaurant war das Essen enttäuschend und hatte mit authentischer persischer Küche wenig zu tun. Die verwendeten Gewürze erinnerten deutlich eher an afghanische als an persische Küche. Das Fesenjan war qualitativ sehr schwach. Der Lammkebab hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch, und auch die Lammhaxe erreichte in keiner Weise die Qualität oder Zubereitungsart, die man aus der persischen Küche kennt. Der Service war für ein Restaurant dieser unteren Kategorie in Ordnung. Angesichts dieser Erfahrung frage ich mich, wie dieses Lokal so viele 5-Sterne-Bewertungen erhalten konnte.

Super delicious. The lamb barg kebab, in particular, really surprised me with how good it tasted! I just wish it had more vegetables or tomatoes, but otherwise, it tasted great.

Discovered by chance, it's a real insider tip. We were looking for something to eat on our way back from the Gardens Flea Market—which is really no longer an insider tip. Not far from Ohlsdorf train station is this small Persian restaurant with a delivery service. Unfortunately, they don't deliver to our location. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a slight hint of kitsch, which, in my experience, is typical in Persian restaurants. The very polite and charming chef (?) greeted us and showed us to our tables. Unfortunately, the service wasn't always quite as fast later on. I was very pleased with the vegetarian selection on the small menu; it sounded so delicious that I had trouble deciding even with four dishes. (Does that even exist?) In the end, I opted for an eggplant stew with yogurt, walnuts, and various spices, served with delicious fluffy saffron rice. Yummy, yummy! Meat eaters can enjoy a wide selection of braised and grilled dishes. My companion tried a chicken and a lamb skewer with side dishes, and although lamb was and remains not his favorite meat, he enjoyed the meal just as much as I did. I can recommend a fruit-flavored Persian malt beer with it. I don't think they served any alcohol. If you're in the mood for truly delicious Persian cuisine, this is the place for you.

We were there on a Monday evening. The restaurant was only sparsely occupied with guests. We were the only guests recently. The lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating. However, we could tell from small details that she is not a catering professional. She made up for it with her charm. The dishes on offer are varied and delicious. You can't go wrong with your choice. At the end there was saffron ice cream. Highly recommended. Food that cannot be eaten on site can be packed to take away upon request (👍). The portions are sometimes really generous. The ambience is sparse and sober. The toilet works, but its best days are behind it. The prices are moderate. You can get stuffed for less than €40. Conclusion: if you like delicious food from the Orient or would like to try it, this is the right place for you. The external appearance and the ambience belie the fact that you can eat well here and that the service is friendly. This is probably called an “insider tip”.

I ordered Kubideh and Mosir to pick up. This worked so far, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired compared to other Persian restaurants. The meat wasn't juicy and the mosir didn't taste like wild wild garlic, but rather very artificial. Furthermore, its consistency was not good. I wouldn't order here again for pickup.

I visited the Khorshid Restaurant with my family and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was welcoming and authentic. From the stylish furnishings to the Persian music in the background. The food was very tasty. The starters were a delight. The main courses, such as the tender and perfectly seasoned kebab with saffron rice, exceeded my expectations. I would particularly like to highlight the taste of the rice with the crispy crust (Tahdig), a must for every visitor. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and could tell you a lot about the dishes. It was ensured that we didn't lack anything. Finally, I treated myself to a glass of Persian tea with a portion of baklava, a perfect end to a successful evening. Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves or wants to explore Persian cuisine. I will definitely come back!

Tschelo Kebab hatte wirklich keine gute Qualität, und der Geschmack war auch entttäuschend. The service was good. The pounded challah was very bad, the rice was foreign (even though you asked before it was Iranian), the kebab was hard as a rock and had no taste. The grill plate for 2 people was very good. The meat was tasty and spicy, the side dishes were also good. The service was also satisfactory. Only the atmosphere could be a little more comfortable, but that could just be my personal taste.

Unfortunately disappointing on the last visit I have been a regular at this restaurant for many years and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Unfortunately, my visit on December 31, 2024 on the occasion of the New Year was a disappointment. We ordered a grill platter for three people and drinks. The food this time was not as usual - the quality left something to be desired and the taste was not up to the standard we have seen from previous visits. In addition, the service seemed stressed and not attentive to us. I don't know if there was a change in ownership, but the difference was clearly noticeable. I hope that the restaurant returns to its old strength, as I have really appreciated it so far.

Unfriendly and thoughtless entertainment

Salmonella disease sends greetings. Ordered here again and the Kubideh was still raw. See photos. It is dangerous and more than negligent to sell raw minced meat to customers. We had guests and ordered a larger quantity. It's just shameful to serve something like that. Never again khorshid!!! If you can't cook a skewer, you shouldn't run a restaurant. Small side note: the barg is tough as leather and the kidney beans in the ghormeh sabzi are rock hard.

We spent New Year's Eve at Khorshid Restaurant - with 13 adults and 2 children - and it was a fantastic experience! Everything was excellently organized: the starters came exactly right and on time, the obligatory herb and cheese plate was of course included, and the main courses followed at a perfect time. From Ashe Reshte to Kashke Bademjan to the main courses like Kubideh, Barg and Djuje - every single dish was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and the prices were very fair, which is rare for this quality. But the absolute highlight was the service: so warm, familiar and friendly that you felt like a guest among good friends. It definitely wasn't our last visit to Khorshid! Absolute recommendation!

The food was delivered incorrectly. Quality was not comparable to Persian food. Turkish saziki was delivered as yogurt with moussir and half margarine as butter. The only point I give is because of the punctuality of the deliveries and friendliness on the phone. They even wanted to send the wrong food back but that was too late for my guests. I ordered there because before that there was another restaurant called Shiraz and we had good experiences. Too bad

Khorshid is ideal for fans of Afghan cuisine! The service is incredibly friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I particularly liked the kebab kubideh - it is juicy, well seasoned and simply delicious! From the fresh side dishes to the fluffy rice, every component on the plate was a delight. Khorshid is a must-try for anyone looking for authentic Afghan food of the highest quality. Five stars are more than justified here!

The food was very tasty - there is nothing to complain about. We were the ONLY two guests in the restaurant at lunchtime. After we were greeted warmly and placed our drinks and food order, it still took more than 10 minutes for our drinks to be brought. When we had finished eating, my companion wanted to order something to drink. But this was not possible because we were completely ignored. Attempts to establish contact were unsuccessful. Even after we went to the counter, behind which the employee was sitting at the PC the entire time, and ordered something, the empty plates and platters were not taken away after the drinks were brought. I haven't experienced such dismal service in a long time. It's a real shame, the food was very tasty.
