The food is delicious, the flavors are exquisite. I recommend the fried fish and the ceviche with a refreshing purple corn drink :)

A great local spot for locals, serving delicious Peruvian and Mexican food. Authentic flavors and a casual, cozy atmosphere. Appetizers include delicious fried plantains and cassava fries. I recommend the seafood dishes and steaks. The homemade lemonade is wonderful and refreshing. I'd happily come back again.

The food was indeed delicious, and the young lady's service was very professional and polite. HOWEVER, when I went to the counter to pay and handed my bank card to the man I believe to be the manager/owner, he simply said "Cash only!" in an unfriendly tone and with such nonchalance that I found it quite rude. Especially since this isn't clearly stated on the menu or at the restaurant entrance. It's a shame, really, because overall it was a positive experience, but this last interaction somewhat spoiled it. I would recommend being more tactful in the future, as things like this are precisely what distinguishes a regular customer from a one-time customer.

The place has declined significantly since summer 2025, or at least had a bad night. The signature cocktail of a Peruvian restaurant was neither particularly pisco nor particularly sour. The next disappointment was the burrito pollo, whose lack of mole was especially glaring if the latter was the reason for ordering it. My inquiry to the staff about this was met with a cloud of incomprehension and indifference. Overall, a disappointing experience that I won't be repeating. Update: Five minutes after this post, my plate (which I had requested was completely cleared) returned microwaved and now featured a very generous amount of the hoped-for, and now delicious, mole on the burrito. Apparently, only the second server understood my problem. In the end, I got what I ordered—but only after a frustrating experience.

I've been here many times because the food is good, but in the past I've sometimes had to wait 30 minutes or more, and even then, I accepted the wait without an apology and came back. Apparently, they don't believe in customer loyalty or cultivating relationships. But today was the last straw. When I briefly went to the restroom, they took the opportunity to take away my unfinished cocktail—and it wasn't free; I paid for it. When I complained, the restaurant owner reacted defensively and in a rather unfriendly tone instead of apologizing. He simply stated that he would "correct his employee." The lack of respect shown to me was unbelievable, especially since I'm a regular customer who even brings new customers to the restaurant. I can no longer recommend this place because of the poor service. A simple apology would have sufficed.

It's a great place, I really enjoyed the food, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering visiting. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to go back and try more of the menu.

I went to eat Peruvian food because the place had been recommended to me, but unfortunately, it left much to be desired. I ordered lomo saltado; the meat was good quality, but the dish wasn't tasty. As for the pisco sour, I had no better luck. It was just water; it had no lemon or pisco flavor. When I told the waiter, they improved it a little, but it wasn't even close to a Peruvian pisco. I'm very disappointed with my experience there, as I had high expectations.

Unfortunately, the service was completely off the mark and made several mistakes regarding our requests. Then the food was cold. After I asked if it could be heated up, it was lukewarm. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. We specifically looked for a restaurant with good reviews, but it was a total disappointment. The only good thing was the location, but because everyone was sitting so close together, it was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation. What a waste of money. In short: expensive food, incompetent service, and cold food. I went there once and will never go back.

The food was delicious, with high-quality ingredients. The leche de tigre and the plato de pobre were incredible. Highly recommended!

I tried Peru's most famous dish, Lomo Saltado, and the meat was excellent: tender, juicy, and with a truly delicious sauce. It just needed a touch of fresh cilantro to bring out that authentic flavor so characteristic of Latin American cuisine. I understand that perhaps Germans aren't as used to cilantro, which is why they tend to use it less. The rice was very tasty, although I personally would have preferred short-grain rice, more typical in Latin dishes, instead of the long-grain rice that's more reminiscent of Afghan or Indian cuisine. The margarita wasn't one of my favorites; it lacked the character of the tequila, and the triple sec was overpowering. Even so, I really liked the place: a nice atmosphere, although the staff could convey a bit more of that warmth and Latin passion that so distinguishes our culture. 🇵🇪✨

Okay, the food was average, the portions were rather small. The staff were often nowhere to be seen, and we would have liked to order drinks and dessert, but by the time someone showed up, we'd lost interest. It's a shame about the otherwise cozy restaurant.

We went on a Wednesday at 1 p.m. and it was closed! Please adjust your opening hours so we don't waste time going to your restaurant. Several people arrived after us, which was a disappointment.

We have ordered big Seafood Mix for 3 persons, and that's was incredible! 🪔Atmosphere: beautiful interior, not too loud but rhythmic music provokes to make a little moves in tact, lots of places. 🦸🏻‍♀️Service: smilly, polite, fast, attentive 🦪Food: huge portion with the variety of backed, fried baby octopuses, garnelen, fish, oysters (big and small), sweet potato, fresh ceviche with marinated onion in lemon juice sause 🤤 💸Prices: Normal I recommend!

Absolutely! Four of us had a delicious meal today, Sunday.

We discussed our choices with a warm, welcoming waitress. She helped us making some great choices as a beginner into Peruvian food. The dishes were not pretentious, cooked with care and felt homey in some ways as they were not loaded with butter or so. The ceviche was phenomenal. I'd recommend this place to people who want to crack into south American food. The damage to wallet wasn't too bad given the amount and variety of the food. Absolute gem 💎!

Paracas: A Culinary Excursion to Peru A friend recommended Paracas in Kreuzberg to us, and we are eternally grateful for this tip! Although we were previously unfamiliar with Peruvian cuisine, we love ceviche – and what we experienced here far exceeded our expectations. The food is exceptionally good and authentic. Every dish was a delight, especially the ceviche, which was simply perfect. The matching drinks were also excellent and complemented the flavors of the dishes wonderfully. What made this evening truly unforgettable, however, was the atmosphere. You can tell that the food is cooked with passion and joy. There was not only good cheer on the plate, but also from the kitchen – we heard the chefs singing happily! Singing, cheerful chefs are really cool and show how much heart and soul goes into this restaurant. We will definitely be back! Many thanks to the entire team for this amazing experience.

We had a really bad experience at Paracas II. After ordering, waited for 90 minutes without receiving our food. We repeatedly asked them when it would come, and also told them multiple times that we had a to leave by a certain time as we had another reservation for an event. Every single time they told us it would come very soon. The food never (!!) came. We left after 90 minutes without eating, super hungry, and rushing to our next reservation. Can’t say anything about the food but the service was a joke.

Excellent Latin, Peruvian cuisine in the heart of Berlin! The menu is extensive so it was hard to decide. I had the fish soup made with coconut milk and fresh herbs and seafood. It was so good I wanted to ask for another bowl. My husband had the mixed grill. Beef, chicken and sausage smothered in a rich gravy with roasted potatoes, bell peppers and onions. The meat was all tender flavorful and cooked to perfection. Service was fast and friendly. We'll be back soon.

The food is very good and traditional. I ordered Ají de Gallina and liked it, but I thought there was little chicken compared to the potatoes and rice, which doesn't match the price. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was live music downstairs. You can dance salsa and other styles or just eat with the music in the background. It's quieter upstairs. Everything was very pleasant and something exceptional in Berlin. The prices with the show seem fine to me; without the show, I'd think they're a bit high.

Really nice customer service, but it’s a shame the food does not live up to reviews or the service. Nachos were just soggy, cocktails didn’t have much taste, meat tasted like gum in how chewy it was, enchiladas were huge and nice until you got to the chewy meat, empanadas were smaller than expected and overall the food was kind of mid… A very extensive menu, but the food quality was just low. The place is nice tho, and if you know nothing of latino food most plates should be ok, but the steak was terrible to whoever you asked so that should be improved because the fajitas were impossible to eat . Good plate presentation though.

Very delicious food, full of flavour, with plenty of choice for vegetarian and meat dishes. We were served by a friendly man who spoke enough English to make communication easy. It was a nice atmosphere, with people seated inside and outside. They accept credit cards.

Have gern coming here over 10 years and still recommend the place. Affordable and tasty food. Added Bonus: Downstairs is a little extra room for private parties and games.

As someone who grew up with Peruvian food, I can say that this food is very authentic. Especially the arroz of pollo is like that of abuelita.

I grew up in Peru, have lived in Berlin for 10 years and Paracas II is by far my favorite restaurant :)) Great music for dancing, great ambience, especially when there is live singing in the basement. The food is awesome, it tastes like back home :) I once had the experience that my Leche de Tigre was too salty. Addressed, back to the kitchen, got new Leche de Tigre. No problem at all. The waiters are all warm and kind. I like to go there often with family and friends. All in all, this restaurant is highly recommended. You can never order anything “wrong” because everything tastes SO GOOD!!!

Este lugar fue un poco atropellado y fallido para mí. Los camareros no entendían ni una palabra de lo que decíamos, así que tuvimos que apuntar al menú. La comida llegó bastante rápido, pero careciendo de ese poco de interacción con el cliente, una vez que nos alimentaron nadie se acerca a nosotros! Tuvimos que ir al bar y pagar la cuenta y la máquina de tarjetas era un poco temperamental, así que no podíamos dejar propina al pagar, pero se merecían una. . . . . . . . . ¿en serio?

There is nothing more authentic than coming on a Sunday and eating a good ceviche or another Peruvian dish and enjoying live music. It feels so much like Latin America! How tasty! So far I've been there about 5 times and always enjoying it! Until next time!

The food was below all criticism. We pointed this out to the waitress but there was none of it. The answer was "will tell the chef".

A good place to try Latin food. I had the opportunity to taste the hot medley obtained from the cassava plant, which I had never tasted before, and I think it was the most delicious food I liked in the place. I tried their wraps with chocolate sauce, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't a taste I would want to eat again and again. The place was quiet even though it was the weekend. There were also families with children in the place. The employees were caring and friendly. Prices were reasonable.

The food was really great but the service was a disaster! I've never experienced anything like this. First our food was forgotten and no one even apologized for it and then the dish we had been waiting for all the time was served to the table next to us who had just ordered 10 minutes ago. An apology would be the least and we didn't even get that.

Yo tenía las enchiladas vegetarianas (2 tortillas de maíz con relleno de verduras, cubierto con una salsa de tomate picante y crema agria, y cuñas de patata frita y ensalada) , y mi marido tenía las fajitas de pescado (pescado blanco empanado y dos conchas muy grandes - en gambas con tiras de verduras fritas picantes y 3 envolturas de tortilla de harina). ¡Los dos estaban deliciosos! ¡La comida mexicana más sabrosa que hemos probado en siglos! El restaurante era acogedor y acogedor y el personal era amable y eficiente!

We popped in for lunch on a Saturday and were delighted to find a warm, busy restaurant through the heavy door curtains! I had the vegetarian enchiladas ( 2 corn tortillas with vegetable filling, topped a spicy tomato salsa and sour cream, and fried potato wedges and salad), and my husband had the fish fajitas (breaded white fish and two very large shell-on prawns with spicy fried veg strips and 3 flour tortilla wraps). They were both delicious! The tastiest Mexican food we’ve had in ages!

We waited ages for our food. Some dishes were delicious, others burnt. There was no spinach in the burrito with spinach that I ordered. Had to ask again where the rest of the order was after we only got half of it. And the waitress was surprised that we hadn't had it yet. The staff was friendly but forgetful and often had to make sure what we ordered. The ambience was nice. Albeit a little loud to have a conversation. In the basement there was more seating with live music and dancing. Good mood. There were also vegetarian and vegan options

You may suddenly wonder why it's Latin America in Berlin, but I highly recommend going to this restaurant. The food is quite delicious and the price is reasonable at under 20 euros. And above all, the staff are very friendly and cheerful haha. I think this is a restaurant worth coming back to. If you find it difficult to only eat German food when sightseeing, it would be a great place to come. Highly recommended

Excellent attention from both waiters, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, 1000% recommended if you are in Berlin, good price approximately €20 per person. The plate was tried: divine mixed jelly full seafood, also poor-quality steak, very good portion and quality, egg, beans, rice, salad, also a mixed grill excellent everything, they have a detailed menu, I leave it attached as well as a photo of the dishes, they have bathroom for clients. Real food and excellent seasoning, I also recommend the chicha morada. It is located just a few minutes from the famous Charlie checkpoint.
