We wanted to eat a little something yesterday at 1:30 p.m. 🕜. Unfortunately, after the third “immediate” from the waiter, we left without food. He also expected an evaluation. This request should be granted. Since we had already eaten here 14 days before, we had to give a complete review. Food nothing special, service 👎 Well, we won't bother the waiter anymore.

Food was mediocre. Service absolute disaster! We weren't served for ages, waiters are unfriendly and stare inattentively at the floor instead of looking around to see if guests need something. The last time it was like this was 3 years ago. Doesn't seem to be getting better. Toilets weren't clean either. I'm not going here anymore.

We were there for dinner on November 30th. We had to wait forever for the waitress to take our order. 2 He only wrote down our order after we asked. The main courses (taco and chili concane) came first, but without spoons. Starters arrived 5 minutes later and drinks at the end. When you reordered you were ignored three times by the waitress. No response to the repeat order. The icing on the cake is that we left the store with a stomach ache and nausea. We paid 66.60 for that. When we didn't leave a tip due to the poor service, the waiter reacted annoyed. We do not recommend the restaurant.

This restaurant turned down to be much better than expected and much better than the average ratings are: the portions were big and the food tasted also surprisingly very good. I understand that some of the food quality reviews may depend on the type of food that was ordered, but we personally enjoyed food and drinks. We ordered 25 as appetitive and burritos as main dish. Hope this review helps. Toilets are a bit seared off and dirty but this is Berlin 😅

Music too loud, way too crowded, no service after 15 minutes even after asking several times I'm not coming back

Very loud in the store. After 30 minutes still no waiter came to order drinks. We waited over 50 minutes for the first drink while the waiters mostly just stood around.

I've been sitting here for 15 minutes and I've been consistently ignored and can't even order drinks. So you either have to revise the organization here or hire better service staff. A music system that is so bad that my grandfather got up from his wheelchair to turn off the music. ♡ But the location is actually quite good, but personally I would like a strip club better.

Large venue which, according to the sign, should serve cocktails. Noisy, sterile premises. I was just supposed to have some drinks, but struggled to get in touch with the staff. Had to literally "throw us over" someone who was passing by. The staff were shouting to each other and running and rushing around. They all appeared to dislike their jobs and looked sullen when they weren't shouting. The drinks were absolutely average - would NEVER choose to visit this place again

We were just there for a drink today. We can't rate the food. The service was very friendly. Atmosphere appealing. The size of the restaurant is certainly a matter of taste. There are deductions regarding the cleanliness of the toilets - unfortunately poor.

Food was lukewarm, service unfriendly and listless, ambience kitschy

The waiter himself was nice, the order was placed (Cancun Burger number 100), the food came quite quickly. What can I say? The meat smelled very unpleasant and tasted very unpleasant. I complained about the burger and received a new one where the smell was even more intense. I talked to the boss and he explained to me that he sells 100 burgers a day and I'm the only one who doesn't like it. I shouldn't be like that. The party would be from the metro and that's what it smells like. You couldn't be more unfriendly towards a customer. Then I ordered the baked potato with chilli con carne as an alternative and only received chilli con carne. When I complained about this, the waiter said I should speak more clearly, then this wouldn't happen. There were 5 other people at the table who all understood my wish Sad

Despite very little traffic, waiting time for a meal is very long. They don't provide any chocolates. And at the end the lady asked about tipping. Food tastes OK, but cold.

The food was subpar, the burger consisted of two cold burger bun halves, the two pieces of meat were half cold and a lettuce leaf. Conclusion: The worst thing I've ever had on my plate! The sanitary facilities are like a train station toilet! Here too. Bet SIX! As we know, you can argue about music, but the unspeakable constant sound of the same song was more than NERV KILLING! Overall conclusion: SIX minus, bet!

We were invited to a birthday today on November 23rd, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. in Cancun at Alexanderplatz (Berlin). We were there at around 6:30 p.m. to make preparations for the birthday. After the boss himself took care of finding our reservation (24 guests plus or minus 2, recorded with the wrong name) after several attempts, which took 15 minutes, a Kelllener named Verdo/Ferdo registered as our contact person . We told him we were just the guests, the main character was coming soon! He introduced himself to her later. Then the chaos began...there was another table off to the side with over 25 people, which, among other things, was served by the aforementioned waiter. My girlfriend and I immediately ordered a salad and 2 cocktails because we realized it was busy and it would take time (we both have over 15 years of gastro experience). The drinks arrived...later the salad...our other guests arrived, we told everyone to order straight away as it would take a while. We order our next 2 cocktails... after they finally arrived after repeated requests (after about 1 hour) after the orders that had been made after us, we immediately ordered the 3rd round with 2 other cocktails!!! Again after other orders were taken after us, which had already been delivered and we had already waited for over 40 minutes, our (wrong drinks!!!) arrived!!! Now for the "short version": When asked about the wrong drinks, the waiter said "Vallah, I'm not stupid, I asked". After we finally received the 2, after we asked which drinks (from the 2nd round) they were, he showed us the receipt from the 2nd round. He even served the 3 wrong rounds incorrectly...the 3rd round had already been ordered when the 2nd round arrived!!! In the end it was said that the third round was on the house after we had to constantly argue that they were the wrong drinks....they weren't drunk and we went to the checkout where we were asked beforehand where we could pay with a stroppy answer: hab I said twice at the checkout at the front, he came AGAIN UNPROMPTED and said that if we want to pay at the checkout at the front, we should come when we have time have?!?!?!?!?!? At the checkout they said the drinks weren't on the house, he wasn't paying for them out of his own pocket, the others were paying for them and then he didn't give a damn. (I don't need to mention that the other people of us who came last ordered their food straight after others had already been served and always didn't receive their food) Vallah, I'm not stupid many times. Then I let him finish at his request, he then didn't listen to my side at all and defended himself vehemently and interrupted me with stupid statements. Then the waiter ran and spoke to our birthday boy, which confirmed what we said! Then he said something like, "I should drink 2 drinks instead of 3 because I'm too drunk."...In the end it was something like "I don't want to talk to you when you're back here." I paid our bill and he didn't even want a tip, I said ok I'll get 10 cents back, he threw me the 1 € (0.90 was his 0.10 cents my change) and stomped off.....He was concerned more than overwhelmed, which he also told me several times, I don't have to mention in poor German (I'm sweating, you see, I have a lot to do), such people should never work in services with other people. The waiter Verdo/Ferdo was unfriendly, rude, disgusting and just plain bad. Sure Saturday, full hut, but that's not possible at all. I told the boss as feedback...I'm 99% sure nothing will change. I've been working in the catering industry for 17 years, I'm a foreigner myself, in case someone throws out the club of racism.

Very very loud!!! And if you like food that is sometimes very fatty and oily, you've come to the right place. Luckily there are other stores from this chain in Berlin that are much better!

I don't like music very much since we are Latin. The food is good and in quantity, the prices are normal and the place is very nice. On our visit we did not have any waiters who spoke Spanish, although it was not a problem. I would recommend it

Unfortunately the visit on November 23rd, 2024 was not a success at all. There were four of us and we had to wait more than 1.75 hours for our food. We only got that because we complained and wanted to leave. They tried to convince us that it should be quick and so the food was very bland and just absolutely average. It really wasn't worth it. The great thing was that we then had a hard discussion about why we didn't want to give a tip. For what? Visiting the toilet was also shameful, simple cleanliness would have been more than helpful here. We'll probably never go there again. No recommendation at all.

Visit December 2023: Order was taken by a waitress, in English, as she didn't speak German. No problem for us. She walked away. 2 minutes later a waiter came and we had to order again because the waitress hadn't remembered everything. Food was ok. Drinks were first brought incorrectly and then it took a very long time. I only recommend the restaurant on Mehringdamm…. Went there again today November 23rd, 2024. No food received after 1.5 hours. We wanted to leave without paying for food (which we didn't receive). Keller became cheeky. If we had been there with men they wouldn't have been able to get so loud. Never again.

We found a piece of glass in our glasses, the waiter and the owner scolded each other instead of cooperating, not even an offer, nothing. To flee!!!

I was there on a Saturday evening (6 p.m.) and we were celebrating a birthday. The women's toilets were not clean, there was a strong unpleasant smell, the soap was empty and the towel holder was broken and was barely hanging on the wall by a thread. We waited up to 15 minutes for some drink orders. The food wasn't really hot and didn't taste good. The drinks were okay, but because the table wasn't really clean and just stood there carelessly - my conclusion is that I won't go there again.

Well...actually OK if you exclude the service ....food mediocre..... Gets upset when.you don't tip....asks why.you are in Berlin, because you haven't tipped, even though service was terrible.... Replied, grandfather lived in berlin till he was sent to DIE in a concentration camp..... Was that enough of a reason to be in Berlin????

We recently visited Cancun with high hopes for a fun evening, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was not living up to its reputation. First and foremost, the drinks were a major letdown. I ordered a signature cocktail that sounded promising on the menu, but what arrived was a muddled mess of flavors that didn’t come together at all. It tasted overly sweet and artificial, lacking any real depth or balance. My friends had similar experiences with their drinks; one described their mojito as more like mint-flavored soda than the refreshing cocktail it should have been. For a place that prides itself on its mixology, this was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, the service was intrusive to the point of being annoying. Our waiter seemed overly eager to take our order and check in on us every few minutes, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal in peace. Instead of allowing us to savor our food and drinks, we felt rushed and pressured to make quick decisions. It’s one thing to be attentive; it’s another to feel like you’re being monitored throughout your dining experience. The food itself was decent but overshadowed by the poor drink quality and disruptive service. We were hoping for a relaxing evening out, but instead, we found ourselves frustrated and unable to fully enjoy our time together. Overall, I cannot recommend based on this experience. With lackluster drinks and overbearing service, it left much to be desired.

First we should sit at the door where there is a draft when the load is low. Then we implemented something that was not liked at all. Eating...you know what you're getting into.

We were here for lunch, ordered turkey with pineapple and orange with almonds, very tasty! I recommend My daughter ordered a burger with potatoes from the children's menu, but the portion is really for an adult. By the way, I couldn't eat my portion either, it was very huge! To be honest, in the district of 900 m., this is the only place where I would come again and again.

We spontaneously went to “Cancun” two weeks ago and were given a very friendly welcome. The service from the waiter Samir was excellent. He was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The menu offers a wide selection. Everyone will find something here. The waiting time was reasonable and the food was delicious. Next time we're in Berlin, we'll definitely come back. Thanks! 👍🏼

Unfortunately, the service was very rude and didn't give adequate answers to simple questions like alternatives to milk and there wasn't a hello and goodbye either. Other staff brushed you off just as quickly, and unfortunately you don't feel welcome at all as a guest.

One of the male waiters in charge pushed a female waiter quite violently around-sad!

The person who took our bill gave us the change and took part of the tip. And then he came angry demanding more tip. In order to demand, you have to provide a service. It's the meanest thing I've ever seen. When we give us the ticket, he shows us with a flashlight that the tip is not included. I will not return, nor do I recommend that you go.

The ambience is great. The service was very nice. The food... quite expensive and very little. The little burritos are tasty but small. That's why I wouldn't go here again. I paid over €20 for a coke and a meal.

It’s a nice restaurant. Big. We entered because we liked the music playing outside on the speakers. It gave the whole place a nice vibe. But there was no music inside. I would have loved a bit of the Mexican culture in there but oh well. The food was good, cocktails weak. Portions are good enough. Toilets are not the most well maintained I’ve seen. *Update* Second visit was also quite lovely. The food was excellent

The food is very expensive for what it is. Bag potatoes and hamburger with "super" meat. Expensive beer, but in line with Berlin.

The food was solid. Prices are just Berlin. The burger was fine, I had one with an egg, but the yolk had already run out and dried out slightly. Loo was acceptable but service was really nice. But the Cole-Saw salad with the burger was a joke.

Nice restaurant for a spontaneous lunch on a Saturday. The service was quick and the order was placed quickly. The ordered food arrived within about 30 minutes. The portion of the burrito was reasonable for the price, whereas the quesadillas were only half the size of what is usually found in Mexican restaurants, and unfortunately it wasn't enough to fill you up. The taste was good and served with fresh salad.

Long wait and service not friendly.

Food was nice but just as I finished the bill arrived and the waiter stood there to be payed immediately. I just felt they wanted to get me out. Not a relaxed atmosphere.

The staff themselves decide on the amount of the tip and keep it as is. Never again.

The food is simple and expensive. I ordered hot food. I got a cold, nasty bite in return. My friend ordered nachos but got Doritos chips from Lidl. The blue moon cocktail tasted like warm, dirty lumpy milk. Definitely not recommended.

Not recommended! Staff was very friendly upon arrival. Food was served quickly. the food was fine, but not very special. When paying, the staff immediately added a 10% tip without consultation. If you indicate here that you do not want this, the atmosphere immediately changes. Staff became pushy, antisocial and annoyed because you don't want to tip. Definitely not recommended.

Was there on Saturday at 5 p.m. there was hardly anything going on but still had to wait 10-15 minutes until a waiter came with cards. 1 waiter completely drunk!!! The other nonsense... When you want to order, the waiter runs away. Drinks were great. We then took it easy with the food order after countless times the waiters just walked back and forth haphazardly and then insulted each other in front of guests. Service is completely wrong, there is no planning in the system as to who is serving which tables, so there is no idea who had which order...

The food looked so unappetizing that I didn't even want to try it, the nachos were cold. The burger was fried to death. We'll never go there again. And the waitress didn't even speak German 😞 and I didn't speak English. We'd have to request a ticket, even though we were assigned a place, and would then be ignored

Tables were sticky. They were only wiped off when asked. The service wasn't up to par either. Only half of the drinks we ordered were brought. The restaurant has slacked off a lot.

The food itself was fine, but the staff was on the unfriendly side. No thank you after giving a tip, I think the waiter expected more. But this is Germany, not the United States...so be happy with what you get.

Food was okay, nothing to complain about. unfortunately we had to three!! Ask for a clean fork, the plates were greasy on the bottom and the table in front of us hadn't been wiped down. service was also rather poor. It's right on Alex, and therefore crowded and stressed. Drink (Purple Amigo) was good, just not priced at all for soda with a bit of syrup According to friends, things were also better.

I arrived there really hungry and I wasn't disappointed at all with the food. It tasted really delicious. The drink I had was really nice too. The only negative would be the food took a little time but apart from that , the experience was nice.

Finding good food at Alex late at night is actually surprising. There is no shortage of seats in this large restaurant. The service is attentive and friendly. Ambience perfectly fine.

I ordered the brunch, which is only offered on Sundays. There was everything for breakfast. From pastries to hot soups.

Our visit (4 people) to Cacuun was mixed. First of all, I praise the service for what initially appeared to be an effort to meet our wishes, which ended up being disorganized over the course of the evening, something we don't know from this restaurant. The food was ok but won't ensure we visit this establishment again. If you are looking for a quiet place to dine and have fun at the same time, you should avoid this restaurant.

⭐️ 1 star “Cancun” – sounds like sun, beach and delicious Mexican food? Well, I guess! The name promises holiday feelings, but what we got here was more like culinary jet lag. The waitress greeted us with the warmth of a tax inspector and immediately made us feel: “You’re bothering us.” Drinks? After 30 minutes it was no longer clear to us whether we were really thirsty or had simply been forgotten. 70 minutes later the food arrived... and we wished it had been lost. I had a “burger” with fries (mind you, only the name was American, the rest was more from the school lunch menu) and a spoonful of chili con carne that tasted more like mercy than chili. My friend had a baked potato - dry as the Cancun desert, with a salad that had probably seen better days... maybe in the 90s? The fries? They must have been fried about three times and had the consistency of old shoe soles. A handful of ketchup? Not even after asking. But there was a handful of fries - and unfortunately that was more than enough. Bottom line: If you've ever felt like a restaurant would rather get rid of you than serve you a good meal, congratulations, you'll feel right at home in Cancun. Goodbye? Rather not

Unfortunately the service was completely overwhelmed or non-existent. We had reserved and after the third time saying that we had reserved, we got a table. When we arrived we were allowed to order and show up after 30 minutes. The drinks took another 30 minutes and we had to ask. After about 2 hours the food came, unfortunately not all together, but almost 10 minutes apart. In addition, although they had brought us food, there was no cutlery left. We asked several waiters about it, but unfortunately it took a long time until we all had cutlery and, well, could eat the good food. We were never asked if we wanted something more to drink. At some point we just held up the card and hoped that a waiter would have mercy. When we got the bill we expressed our dissatisfaction and asked for a discount, but we only got 6 strawberry shots on the house for a bill of just under €200. Definitely an experience, unfortunately it took away our time from the Festival Of Lights.

A bit chaotic and music sometimes too loud.

I'll skip this place next time. Food was semi-ok, not bad, not delicious either but relatively expensive compared to the quality. Atmosphere was hectic and noisy caused by the stuff - lot of fuzz but very little was actually happening or delivered. Lot of waiting experienced - first to get food order in then with the check, which was requested three times. Forks and knifes I had to find myself as these were not delivered with the portions and stuff was not available to bring them. I didn't hear "enjoy your meal", "thank you" or anything that woud be basic compliments in restaurant business. Tips are something to earn, not paid by poor performance.

There was no dealing with the guests, everything was a mess

I have already visited several Cancun bars in Berlin and there was nothing wrong with the food. The service is completely overwhelmed and complains to each other in front of the guests. Don't know which order goes to which table. A waiter would be better suited as a clown than a waiter, his humor is very borderline. Unfortunately, this Cancun will not see us again.

Unfortunately not recommended under stress like at the Festival of Light. Not only did we have to wait almost an hour for a few drinks, the Moscow Mule doesn't deserve the name, it was just cucumber water with alcohol in the glass. But instead of simply canceling the drink, there is discussion that this wouldn't work, we could get something else. But it didn't matter that we didn't feel like it anymore and just wanted to pay to be able to go again, so we still had to pay for the cucumber water. The impudence is that there is an argument with the guest about the quality of the drink! Moscow Mule in a copper mug? Let's not do it! Absolutely cheeky and particularly incomprehensible why it is not possible to remove a drink from the bill and, in my opinion, intentional tourist rubbish. They'll never come back anyway, right? Well my dears, we live in Berlin, but you won't be seeing us again anytime soon and there won't be any recommendations for you either. There are enough restaurants in Berlin that can deal fairly and flexibly with customer feedback.

The worst culinary experience of my life. Terrible service and mediocre food. Price well above the quality offered. And music almost as loud as in a nightclub; impossible to talk. We arrived on a Saturday at 9:30 p.m., they gave us a table and took our order. It took them 45 minutes to bring us the drinks and another hour to bring the food. The waiter, seeing our discontent, came over a couple of times to apologize and promise us that we would have the dishes in two minutes. But the food did not arrive. When we were leaving in despair, the food arrived, which did not match what was on the menu. I ordered a "Cancún Salat", with grilled chicken, avocado and exotic fruits. They brought me a plate of iceberg lettuce with half a tomato, three slices of cucumber, several strips of reheated dried chicken, and a spoonful of guacamole. No trace of exotic fruits or avocado. The waiter came over to offer us a 10% discount. The bill amounted to €49 for that salad, a plate of macaroni and two cocktails that barely had alcohol. We were late for an event because of the delay. So between the discussion and the rush, we ended up paying more because in the end, when paying with the card, they did not apply the discount that appeared on the ticket. In short: a disastrous experience in a restaurant to which I do not plan to return.

The food is great and the service is very friendly and the waiting time is okay because it is always busy. But what's really not nice are the toilets, broken and dirty, they definitely need to be looked at more often.
