Hier sollte man sich auf jeden Fall eine Quittung geben lassen und kontrollieren. Kellnerin „Shukla“ nimmt es auf jeden Fall nicht so ernst mit den korrekten Preisen . Auf die falsche Abrechnung angesprochen bekommt man noch die Frage gestellt ob das denn ein Problem wäre. Sie erstellt dann vielleicht noch eine neue Quittung aber auf die Idee, auch das Geld zurück zu zahlen, kommt sie nicht. Erstes und letztes Mal hier gewesen.

Sie zwangen uns, Trinkgeld zu geben, und berechneten uns nicht einmal einen festen Betrag; sie änderten ihn einfach willkürlich. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, es sei Trinkgeld für die Küche, obwohl uns das vorher nirgends gesagt worden war. Beispielsweise betrug meine Rechnung 5 €, mit Trinkgeld waren es 6 €, und einem Freund berechneten sie ohne Begründung sogar 2 € zusätzlich. Das war absolut unprofessionell. Das Essen war furchtbar, der Service noch schlimmer, und obendrein waren sie unglaublich langsam.

Wir waren heute als Familie in dieser Bar, und der Service ließ wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Der Manager war ungeduldig und unfreundlich, sehr unhöflich und nicht bereit, uns zu helfen. Als wir bezahlen wollten, hatten wir einige Fragen, und er war sehr unhöflich und schrie sogar meine Tochter an – er zeigte keinerlei Respekt. Wer karibisches Flair sucht, ist hier definitiv falsch.

Nach anfänglichen Missverständnissen, ist es ein toller Besuch geworden. Der Service, das Essen und die Atmosphäre waren sehr gut....

Die schlimmste Erfahrung überhaupt. Besonders die Kellner waren unmöglich. Sie reagierten nicht einmal, wenn man sie rief. Ihre Art war extrem irritierend und widerlich. Sie kümmerten sich überhaupt nicht um die Gäste, ihnen ging es nur ums Geld. Ich hatte Lachspasta bestellt, die aber völlig geschmacklos war. Unsere Nachos kamen nie, und man kümmerte sich nicht darum, das Problem zu lösen, sondern ließ uns einfach enttäuscht zurück. Insgesamt war das Abendessen sehr enttäuschend. Ich werde nie wiederkommen und rate Ihnen dringend, woanders hinzugehen.

Riesenrestaurant mit vielen Tischen. Bedienung sehr freundlich, manchmal etwas unkoordiniert mit langen Laufwegen aus der Küche. Wir hatten nur Nachos mit Käse, Hackfleisch und Guacamole. War sehr lecker.

Waren am Montag Mittag zum essen und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Eine Bestellung lief falsch, wurde korrigiert - jedoch war dann dieser Burger kalt. Ich denke hier wurde nur noch um das fehlende Ei, Speck & Soße ergänzt und in dieser Zeit sind Pommes und Burger kalt geworden. Auch geschmacklich war das Fleisch sehr unangenehm. Der dazu gereichte Salat war gegoren... Das zweite Essen war auch kaum akzeptabel vom Geschmack. Haben mehr als die Hälfte auf den Tellern zurück gelassen. Hier gilt wohl Masse statt Klasse. Von uns definitiv nicht !!! zu empfehlen.

Das Restaurant hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre, aber das Essen schmeckt überhaupt nicht mexikanisch. Ich habe schon in vielen authentischen mexikanischen Restaurants gegessen, und die Aromen hier waren weit entfernt von dem, was man erwarten würde. Den Gerichten fehlten authentische Aromen und Gewürze, was enttäuschend war. Hoffentlich können sie die Rezepte verbessern, um ein authentischeres mexikanisches Erlebnis zu bieten.

Super Essen und ganz toller Service

Ich esse wenig mexikanisch, aber die Tacos und die Nachos waren richtig lecker Wenn ich mal wieder in Berlin bin würde ich aufjedenfall wiederkommen

Etwas teuer, aber auch schnell und effizient. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, obwohl der Veggie-Burger supergünstig war! Die Klimaanlage war ein Segen.

Das Lokal hat nichts mit Mexikanisch zu tun, es ist eine Touristenfalle mit inkompetenten Kellnern, und wir bestellten ein Getränk, das aber nicht so aussah wie auf dem Foto. Zu allem Überfluss drängte mich die Kellnerin ständig dazu, bar zu bezahlen, obwohl mir eine andere Kellnerin gesagt hatte, dass ich mit Karte zahlen könne.

Touristenfalle, es ist viel zu teuer, und die Bedienung bettelte darum, bar zu bezahlen. Wir fragten, ob wir bei einer anderen Bedienung mit Karte zahlen könnten, und sie sagte ja, aber die andere Bedienung wollte unbedingt bar bezahlen, obwohl wir sagten, dass wir mit Karte zahlen möchten.

Sehr großzügiger Raum, auch draußen gibt es Tische. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön und die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken sehr vielfältig. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Alles ist sehr lecker. Ich empfehle die Hühnchen-Quesadillas und die Tacos el Pastor.

Wir haben super gegessen, leckere Drinks, netter Service. Einiges Manko die Toiletten.

Absolute Empfehlung in Berlin! Wenn man in Berlin ist, muss man unbedingt im Cancun am Alexanderplatz vorbeischauen. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich hervorragend, alles ist frisch, lecker und perfekt gewürzt. Die Portionen sind riesig, sodass man hier definitiv satt und zufrieden rausgeht. Auch das Ambiente ist richtig angenehm und passt perfekt zum Konzept. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und auf Zack. Besonders hervorheben muss man den Chef: Man merkt sofort, dass er weiß, wie man mit Kunden umgeht. Sehr herzlich, professionell und gastfreundlich. Für mich eines der besten Restaurants am Alexanderplatz, vor allem wenn man Wert auf gutes Essen, große Portionen und ein starkes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis legt. Klare Empfehlung!

Ein hervorragender Ort, um eine schöne Zeit mit Freunden oder dem Partner zu verbringen oder einfach einen Kaffee zu trinken ☕

Wir haben für das komplette Essen bezahlt und am Ende nichts bekommen, weil wir von den Kellnern und dem Manager gedemütigt und respektlos behandelt wurden. Die Rechnung, die wir für den vollen Betrag bezahlt haben, ohne etwas gegessen zu haben, ist beigefügt. Das Hauptproblem ist, dass er sein Personal nicht im Griff hat und entweder keine Ahnung hat, was vor sich geht, oder es ihm einfach egal ist. Alle Kellner, die wir auf ihre Fehler ansprachen, sagten nur, sie seien erst seit einem Monat im Unternehmen, obwohl der Manager behauptet, keiner der Kellner sei neu.

Das ist kein mexikanisches Essen.

Wir haben vor unserer Rückfahrt ins Hotel noch kurz auf einen Drink angehalten. Der Service war so langsam, dass wir überlegt haben, wieder zu gehen. Die Getränke selbst waren in Ordnung, aber die Rechnung ließ fast 30 Minuten auf sich warten. Wir haben dreimal bei drei verschiedenen Mitarbeitern nachgefragt.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 9 Personen bereits das zweite Mal hier im Cancun, das letzte Mal in 2024. Und wieder hatten wir eine tolle und super nette Bedienung. Die Getränke kamen schnell und das Essen war gut. Das Restaurant ist außen schön gelegen mit Blick auf den Berliner Fernsehturm und innen einfach riesig und super mexikanisch angehaucht. Wir kommen wieder.

Super Restaurant, leckeres Essen und dazu eine sehr gute Lage.

Sehr großer Touriladen am Alex. Dafür aber alles mehr als akzeptabel: Essen in Qualität und Portionsgröße in Ordnung, ebenso wie die Preise. Ambiente geht, drinnen etwas dunkel. Service freundlich, wenn auch nicht übermäßig schnell. Ein wenig zu laut. Kein Laden, wo man unbedingt hin muss. Aber wenn ich in der Nähe bin, ist es eine Möglichkeit, die ich gelegentlich wahrnehme.

Das Essen war ziemlich standard, nichts besonderes. Aber wir hatten fast keine Wartezeit, alles ging sehr schnell. Das Restaurant ist sehr groß und damit sehr gut geeignet für größere Gruppen

Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich – größtenteils geschmacklos. Die Toiletten rochen so widerlich, dass selbst öffentliche Toiletten dagegen sauber wirkten.

Der Burger soll ein XXL Burger für 17 Euro sein. Der Lillet schmeckte nicht so wie er sollte also baten wir um ein neuen. Der wurde auch gleich gebracht und man erklärte das der vorige zu viel Sekt drin hatte. Zu viel Sekt in einem Lillet!? Wusste gar nicht das man da Sekt rein macht. Das Schnitzel unserer kleinen war definitiv ein TK Schnitzel. Auf dem WC treffen mich der Schlag! Der Mülleimer quillte so dermaßen übeber. Auch auf dem Boden lag sehr viel Toilettenpapier. Und der Laden war wirklich nicht voll. Auch das Handy hatte bei dem einem oder Mitarbeiter mehr Priorität als sein Job. Ich persönlich werden diesen Laden nicht mehr besuchen!!!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war lecker, vor allem das Fleisch. Wir mussten echt nicht lange auf das Essen warten und für den Tisch musste man gar nicht warten. Meine Partnerin und ich waren auch mit Shihab (Kellner) sehr zufrieden. Sehr sympathische Art bzw Ausstrahlung und hat sich oft nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt ohne zu nerven. Ein Besuch im Cancun kann ich sehr empfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. :)

Cancún ist immer eine sichere und gute Wahl für mexikanisches Essen. Ich war nur etwas überrascht, dass die Tacos nicht fertig zubereitet waren, ich musste sie selbst füllen. Die Nachos waren fantastisch.

Ihr habt ganz stark abgebaut. Ich war schon öfters bei euch. Bisher alles Top. Doch jetzt an einem Samstag Mittag alles versaut. Bedienung unfreundlich und lässt einen ständig warten. Spareribs die schlechtesten die ich je hatte. Die Toiletten zum Mittag schon alle dreckig. Zum abkassieren kommt die Kellnerin nicht mal zum Tisch, will dann aber noch Trinkgeld für die ganze Nummer. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht.

Der Service ist unterirdisch, die Angestellten sind unhöflich. Es wird zwar als mexikanisches Restaurant beworben, aber es ist überhaupt nicht mexikanisch. Die Gerichte schmecken fad, eher wie indisches Essen. Weder mexikanisch noch lecker! Das Einzige, was daran mexikanisch ist, ist die Jarritos-Limonade; alles andere ist ungenießbar. Wir haben fast unser gesamtes Essen stehen lassen.

Das Essen ist gut. Sie verstehen nur noch nicht, wie man ein Restaurant richtig organisiert.

Also ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen das ein Stern echt noch zu wenig ist für das was hier geboten wird. Die Getränke dauern viel zu lange und sind sehr schlecht Gemischt (cuba libre etc.) das Essen wird nicht geliefert wie bestellt (Beispiel Steak Medium bestellt halb roh bekommen.) alles in allem keine Empfehlung.

Unfreundliches Personal, schlechte Qualität: Meine Cola kam aus einer warmen, offenen Flasche und war kohlensäurefrei; wir bestellten rote Salsa, bekamen aber eine weiße, käsige. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Wenn ich könnte wollte ich auch keine eine Sterne geben, weil ich hab ein Weinflasche bestellt und hab kein Weinservice bekommen. Die Kellnerin konnte keine Weinservice machen und es war nicht so schön, wie ich mir vorgestellt hab ich Empfehle keine Hir zu kommen.und das essen würde mir kalt serviert und für eine Getränk wartet man 30-40 Minuten Wenn ich die Betriebsleiter wäre, oder der Geschäftsführer würde ich alles verhindern, am besten professionelle Kellner oder Kellnerin einstellen. Es ist ein mexikanischer Laden und man erwartet einen guten Service. Es war wirklich schrecklich, und ich empfehle, keine Person hinzugehen.

Wegen des Essens geb ich 4 Sterne, es stimmt Preis Leistung, Auswahl. Leider war das Personal schon mit der Bestellung überfordert, und wenn es dann Diskussionen gibt und sogar Tränen, weil eine Bestellung falsch verstanden wurde, ist das nicht professionell. Was gar nicht ging, sind die Toiletten, schon um 18 00 Uhr total verschmutzt, es hat gestunken. Leider tat sich in 2 stunden , nach Bitte zu reinigen, gar nichts.

Getränke ohne Sprudel. Aperol und Bacardi Cola haben abgestanden geschmeckt, mussten wir stehen lassen. Personal hatte kein Verständnis dafür. Toiletten haben sehr gerochen und waren dreckig. Das Essen ging soweit, nichts besonderes.

Ich vergebe nur einen Stern, weil der Kellner ohne unser Wissen 10 % Trinkgeld hinzugefügt hat. Leider ist mir das erst nach dem Bezahlen mit dem Kartenlesegerät aufgefallen. Ich habe den Kellner darauf angesprochen, woraufhin er sichtlich verlegen war und stotternd herauskam.

Eigentlich Potential/ Voraussetzungen l für ein tolles mexikanischen Restaurant vorhanden wenn da nicht der Service wäre. Trotz wirklich geringer Auslastung hatte uns der Service kaum auf dem Schirm. Getränkenachschub war kaum zu realisieren. Irgendwie desinteressiert und quälig der ganze Ablauf so das wir zwar vom Essen begeistert waren aber ein weiterer Besuch nicht mehr stattfindet.

After we found a table and downloaded the menu via QR code, we chose what we wanted. Then the server came and presented us with the New Year's Eve menu. It was the same menu, but everything was significantly more expensive! Why? It was lunchtime.

It would be a 10-star experience. The only downside, and it's a serious one, is that the toilets looked absolutely awful. Worse than a school toilet.

They dont know to cook in this restaurant.Mexican food isnt like this.It was all precooked from the pack and many ingredientes that dont come with mexican food.It tastes more like indian food.Too expensive for what it offers.

Be very careful, they scam you on the tip; if you don't check, they'll give you a €10 tip, it's shameful!

I had a very bad experience today at the Cancun restaurant at Alexanderplatz. A waiter yelled at me because I accidentally ordered two drinks. I wanted to explain why this mistake happened and started my sentence with "I thought." The waiter yelled at me, "No, I thought, nothing to do with 'I thought,'" where am I? A complete stranger yelling at me. I was just trying to explain, but that doesn't mean I didn't want to pay for the drinks. There are always problems with this man; last year, I had a similar issue with a colleague of mine. He lacks respect, and I hope there are consequences. I also gathered from the comments that he's known for his rudeness. He completely ruined my mood. How can someone speak to strangers so disgustingly? I didn't do anything wrong and was simply trying to explain. What an outrage! The manager was also there and was incredibly kind and accommodating, but I simply cannot tolerate such behavior. The man was somewhat shorter and darker, possibly of Indian origin. Somewhat older.

We absolutely loved everything we ate! The portions were very generous and the service was top-notch! With an excellent location, what more could you ask for in Berlin! We were there for a week and went twice! Highly recommended for the area!

I did not enjoy this place at all! The restaurant is big and whilst we were there it wasn't even at 5% capacity i'd say. We waited a long time for our food which at the beginning wasn't a problem as we just wanted to relax for a bit, but then we were waiting for about an hour in the end. When the food arrived it was average at best, which was a shame as the reviews were quite favourable. We ordered the sharing plate to start, my wife had the red fish and rice(which she enjoyed) , though to me it looked sloppy, and I had vegetarian quesadillas which had some oily fried vegetables and cheesey sauce/substance inside, we also ordered a side of batatas/patatas which tasted like crunchy, hollow and burnt potato wedges. The "Salsa" just tastes and looks like watery tomato ketchup with a slight tobasco taste to it, the guacamole was just rank and the sour cream was ok. And its all over priced, my veg quesadillas for example were 17.96€! The thing that bothered me the most was that once the starter arrived, it arrived with the rest of our order, so we had all our food on the table at the same time. Didn't enjoy this experience and will never come again. Thank you

Delicious food, No. 58. Perfectly cooked beef. Excellent service. The only downsides are that the restroom needs renovation and something needs to be done about the smells.

Very expensive, even the cheapest taco costs €16.99. Only rich people can eat there.

A very beautiful and evocative location for a restaurant! Typical Latin American decor offers a menu rich in everything and more, especially traditional local cuisine. We were very pleased with the dishes, which offered a quality-price ratio typical of central Berlin-Mitte. Friendly and helpful staff with fast service. Recommended for those who want to savor overseas cuisine.

Nice Service . The Food is Not Great.

If you need to fill your stomach with garbage, you can eat here. Seven of us ate here, but we couldn't eat it. They're literally selling garbage. It's healthier to be hungry! Frozen ground meat, ready-made, additive-filled, poisonous food! We left without eating, but unfortunately, we still had to pay the bill. We'd rather starve than fill our stomachs with this garbage!

It's a bit noisy, but we Saxons come to Berlin every year, and of course for the food – good prices and delicious 😋 😋 Keep it up!

The food and cocktails were good. The service was overwhelmed and untrained. The cleanliness in the women's restroom was appalling, worse than a public toilet! The tables in the dining area were sticky, and a request to the staff to wipe them down was ignored. The owner needs to get this under control, even when the place is full. One has to fear that the kitchen is just as filthy…

The food is okay, nothing outstanding, but the portions are large. The women's restrooms, however, are awful and unhygienic, ruining the experience. If you pay with cash, you don't get a receipt and can't verify the amount. The atmosphere is cozy, as long as you don't need to use the restroom.

Waited 20 minutes for a lukewarm beer and then had to wait another 20 minutes to pay for it...

The food is good and comes in large size the service is ok I can recommend this place

The service was atrocious. We waiting for 1.5 hours for food, they refused to let us leave and when it did arrive it was wrong. How hard is it to serve 3 burgers and a burrito. Other tables sat ate and left in the time we sat there. To leave we had to pay the bill for food we didn’t eat. Total TOTAL waste of an evening and money. I’d never go back and if I could rate it no stars I would.

We were a group of 14 colleagues for our Christmas party. Almost everyone ordered different dishes, and without exception, everyone commented positively on the high quality and taste of the food, as well as the overall choice of location. The service was very friendly and quick. However, their German communication could be improved. Overall, a very good restaurant; we would definitely come back.

A huge place with plenty of space for lots of guests. Naturally, it's incredibly noisy; after a while, you can't hear yourself think. The staff were trying their best but clearly stressed, which was a bit of a shame. The food arrived hot and delicious. We were all satisfied. There's a large selection of cocktails, which were also quite good. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms definitely leaves something to be desired. They smelled like a train station toilet; they really need a good cleaning. You'd definitely want to avoid going back to the toilet afterward.

As a traveler, I hit the jackpot with Cancun. Authentic Mexican food in the middle of Berlin. Superb energy, huge restaurant, great party vibe and always full. Service is fast and personal. Food is delicious. If you want to grab a drink as well, they have over 6 pages of menu options 😃😃

Refused to give us tap water, and insisted on buying bottled water. Get a grip water is a basic right and we are also buying food and alcoholic drinks. Especially when your selling booze you should be providing tap water. Very greedy indeed!

The food tastes amazing, and the portions are very filling. The drinks and cocktails are also delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, and they even check in during the meal to make sure everything is okay. Wonderful! What wasn't so great was the restroom; it looked a bit run-down and dirty, with graffiti and other marks on it. Still, this place is definitely worth a visit. It was a bit noisy at the front of the restaurant, but it gets quieter further back.

The portions were generous, but we didn't like any of the dishes we ordered. Everything tasted strange; it was like a mix between Tex-Mex and Indian food. The worst was the guacamole—it was truly awful.

The worst food I've ever had in my life.

The food was very tasty. The portions were good. The prices are painfully expensive. They want almost €13 for dinner with cheese as a starter, which really hurts. The cocktail of the day is €2 cheaper, so it's the regular price. It's a huge place. We spontaneously showed up there with 11 people on Friday evening, and of course, they had a table for us. That's quite impressive. The nice thing is that it's both a restaurant and a bar. You're well taken care of there for an evening. However, with those prices, you can't go there very often.

Well, I'm Mexican and I'm used to the food from my country. From the beginning, our guide told us to choose another option because we were going to be disappointed since we're used to Mexican food. But we decided to stay anyway. The food was just okay, as was the service, although the first waiter did a great job. When his shift ended and we were given a different waiter, he was nothing like the first one—super rude and discourteous. But for Mexican food in Berlin, it wasn't too bad.

The food at the Cancun restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant, so we had a really good impression at first. Unfortunately, it was significantly spoiled by the attitude of the waiter when paying. The moment we announced that we wanted to pay by card, the waiter started to claim that this was not possible and that this information had to be reported before ordering. In the end, he forced us to pay in cash. In addition, he calculated the bill for us from handwritten notes on a piece of paper and claimed that he could not issue a receipt due to a “computer problem”. When we expressed dissatisfaction, he suddenly went to the computer, entered the entire expense into the system and printed a receipt — but with a different amount than what we paid. The whole situation gave the impression that he was counting on us, as tourists, not to demand a receipt. It seemed that he had placed the order outside the system, which could also mean a financial loss for the owner if similar practices were repeated. It's a shame that such high-quality cuisine is spoiled by the unprofessional attitude of the staff. The restaurant has great potential, but this behavior rather discourages us from visiting again.
