Unfriendly and rude service at the reception. The service very slow, the waitress forgot the drinks and even the water. We had to remind her. The truffle pasta, is very expensive ( 28 Euros),very pricey for it. It is more oil truffle, very oily. Also I didn’t see the price on the menu, don’t know why but very strange.

Small menu with classical italian dishes different pasta Saltimbocca Caponata but nothing special. Service very slow but friendly, very narrow places outside.Prices for Italian food very high / pasta > 25€

We spontaneously got a table outside, which we were very happy about. The starter of sweet and sour eggplant and vitello tonnato was a 10/10 - absolutely delicious. The bread that we were served with it was unfortunately very dry and didn't taste as fresh anymore. The main course truffle pasta was also terrific. The vegan option was “only” arabiata as the main course, but it was delicious, especially with extra garlic and capers. It was a bit of a shame that the waitress didn't really sell us this “vegan alternative” convincingly, but rather as if it was what was left. In our opinion, this vegan alternative could be presented with more conviction. Unfortunately, a big deduction for us were the drinks, which were only brought after the starter, even though they were ordered earlier and relatively expensive. All in all, a very nice evening.

Great restaurant. I had a delicious truffle pasta. The ambience is also nice. You can sit outside and eat very nicely and relaxed. The street is not that crowded.

We came at 8pm and we got our food at 10pm. Service was EXTREMELY SLOW, food was okayish, very overpriced. the table was so wobbly that we were barely able to eat. The waiter ignored me twice. Def not coming back! The best thing we had was the coke because they only had to open it.

The food was great, the price was certainly justified. However, we decided against the truffle pasta (daily price €28). The service was friendly, but we had to be patient that day. We were surprised by the bread, which was served in a paper bag. Overall, a lovely evening with a delicious meal. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Once again we found ourselves without a reservation for dinner. We meandered over to this cute little place and thanks to the waiter who greeted us scored a table outside. It was a little chilly but thanks to the blankets they provided, everyone kept warm and cozy. We ordered the burrata to share among the four of us which was delicious. For mains we ordered the Orecchiete, Cavatelli, and the Risotto. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious with wonderful flavors and the pasta made to a perfect al dente. The risotto could have used a wee bit longer in the pot and was served only luke warm, but the flavor was on point. The service was just outstanding. Our primary server was hilarious and kept us chuckling throughout our stay. To a person they were all exceptionally friendly and supported us with terrific English. 10/10 for me!

The atmosphere is very nice and it could be “THE” Italian around the corner. Unfortunately, the food is now too expensive in my opinion. The small truffle pasta now has a daily price. That evening it was €23, which in my opinion is no longer justified because the portion is really small. But the ambience! We'll definitely come back. Significantly overpriced!!!! Even if VAT has increased and wages... all restaurants have this problem! For very! a lot of money you get a very small portion, the food was lukewarm and only halfway tasty after a large load of pepper.. At least a bit of bread should be served in advance, that's actually part of it, the few olives you get are also mediocre.. .You are constantly being made aware that the coffee machine will soon be switched off, the bar will soon be closing, etc... and that at 10 p.m. in an Italian restaurant? There are really better Italian restaurants in the area that, above all, are a little less busy...

Super nice address in a nice neighborhood in Berlin. Tasty sharing dishes to start with, especially the vitello tonato! Service also extremely friendly, because the food took a little longer, we received an extra portion of olives & bread, and extensive apologies. Recommended!

Our recent visit to Pappa e Ciccia was nothing short of extraordinary. The diverse selection of starters and pasta dishes were a true delight, bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. First of all, I would like to point out that it is completely human if something goes wrong, such as long waiting times or the wrong food being delivered. In my opinion it just depends on how the restaurant reacts. In our case we had to wait more than an hour for our food. The waitress actually made the best of the situation and was always friendly. However, the behavior of the supposed boss was absolutely unprofessional. Instead of apologizing (they didn't even apologize for the fact that we waited more than an hour for the food), she blamed it on the surprisingly good weather and therefore a full restaurant. But the good weather had been announced for two weeks. There was no attention from the boss, instead we ordered more bread and olive oil ourselves because we were all very hungry. We received four slices of bread for six guests. At least they didn't appear on the bill. Even when we said goodbye, the boss didn't look us in the eyes, she just gave us an arrogant "bye" while she continued to press around on her tablet. All in all, it's a real shame, because unfortunately you couldn't enjoy the longer waiting time. Here the boss could learn a few things from her employees when it comes to behavior. About the food: The food itself was very good, although the portions were very small and the price was too high.

Lille italiensk restaurant (dvs. ikke et pizzeria, som nogle desværre synes at forvente når bare det er italiensk). Ligger lige overfor vores ferielejlighed - det i sig selv er super. Men vigtigst er maden - den er til 5 stjerner uanset om man vælger forretter eller hovedretter. Menukortet er ikke overlæsset. Men der er (uden undtagelse) tale om lækre, friske og veltilberedte retter. Alt kan faktisk anbefales! Venlig og imødekommende/opmærksom betjening - vi blev betjent af en ung landsmand, som bor i byen. Velbesøgt sted så book bord! 3 besøg på 1 uge, siger egentlig alt.

Overall a great experience, the staff makes the difference. We came because of the very good Italian cuisine, but the service was very, very attentive and so incredibly nice and friendly. The atmosphere is also nice - appropriate music, you can look into the kitchen, the decor is cozy and the service is still quick despite a full house. Had dinner there at the weekend. The pasta was very tasty, but quite expensive at €18. Unfortunately, what was really bad was the service. The service person was unfriendly and irritable when ordering and things didn't get any better when paying at the end. I can't understand how in a restaurant like this you can't split a total bill of €250 between 7 parties and then sell it in such an unfriendly way. Food 5/5 prices 3/5 service 1/5

The food is way too expensive considering the portions you get. We also had to wait far too long, an hour. Even if everything is freshly prepared, it just takes too long. There wasn't even an excuse for that. Service!!! The quality of the food was ok. But I can do it at home without any problem. None of us can recommend the restaurant. A pity.

Food and service cannot be optimized. The orecchiette in particular were excellent. Depending on the number of guests it can be quite noisy.

Good, impressive cuisine that delights the palate at a high level! Very much like it: small menu and every dish is a strike for your mouth. The homemade olive oil will make you travel! 🤩 Having a burrata for instance is a very different experience compared to most Italians restaurants. Special motion for the dessert chocorrino. Not so much for the tarte, rather for the pistachio ice cream with olive oil topping! A real culinary experience!

Overpriced, average food - slow staff. The four of us paid just under €180. The truffle pasta was too watery, my Bolognese was okay overall but not worth €18. At any other Italian restaurant you won't pay €12 for this. The staff was too slow. After dinner we asked for the menu twice so we could order another wine, but when the menu finally came we were already thirsty. Then we had the same game with the bill - asked twice and nothing happened. After asking for the third time, the bill finally came. Overall, our visit to this restaurant was okay, but unfortunately not worth repeating.

We stumbled across this restaurant while walking around Berlin. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to get us in. We sat at a small high top table behind the host stand and it was perfect (the chairs were very comfy for high top chairs). The food was great! My husband got a truffle butter pasta that was amazing and I got a red sauce pasta. We had a great time and loved the atmosphere.

Everything is – oh my gosh – soooo tasty! Although it's overall not cheap, we'll keep coming, it's just worth it!

Überteuert, überfüllt und unfreundlich. Wie eine „hippe Modepizzeria in München“ (bin von da). Geht lieber ins Peperoncino (Urbanstraße) - absoluter Geheimtipp!

Die Gerichte waren leider geschmacklich überhaupt nichts besonderes und dafür preislich zu überteuert. Service und das Ambiente vor Ort sind gut, wenn dann noch das Essen passen würde, kommen wir nochmal wieder.

Beste Fettucine mit Trüffeln gegessen und den Wildkräutersalat und verschiedene Vorspeisen vorweg. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden liebevoll umsorgt. Auch ältere Menschen sind willkommen und werden respektvoll bedient. Für Berliner Gastronomie nicht selbstverständlich.

Beste Trüffelpasta die ich in Berlin bisher hatte. Ich kann die hausgemachte Limo empfehlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Etwas gehobenes Preisniveau und auch sehr gutes Essen und gute Drinks.

Gutes Restaurant aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Wir hatten Büffelmozzarella als Starter (gut aber nichts außergewöhnliches) dann eine Pasta (Trüffel, 25 Euro [!!] und Wurst+Gemüse, 15 Euro) pro Person (auch...). Das Menü bietet nicht zu viel Auswahl und hat nicht viel außer Pasta als Hauptgericht. Die Cocktails (12 Euro) waren echt ertäuschend (Whiskey Sour & Gin Basil Smash), wir hätten mehr erwartet aber sie waren ziemlich wässerig und nicht so geschmackvoll. Service war gut. Preise sind auf dem höheren Segment. Vor allem 25 Euro für ein relativ kleines Gericht ist überteuert. Atmosphäre ist sehr gut und locker mit gutem Publikum. Fazit: OK wenn ihr hingeht - ich würde nicht abraten, aber ihr verpasst nichts wenn ihr nicht kommt.

Nice restaurant but overpriced. Ordered pasta with pulpo and unfortunately pasta was more than al dente… it should have been cooked at least 4 minutes longer. A no go for a dish that costs 23 €. A non alcoholic cocktail for 13 €… well. And the acoustic in the room is really bad. No chance to have a normal conversation.

PAPPA E CICCIA is an Italian restaurant. I was surprised that Berlin has this high level of service. The waiters/waitresses are professional and attentive. The restaurant has outdoor tables but I generally hate these type of metal and wooden chairs they are really uncomfortable specially on a stone pavement. When I was about to leave the waitress came to ask me about my dress and complimented my general appearance, I felt so flattered. I regret not taking photos. Next time I'll make sure to show you my order with pictures. They accept card payment

Such a incredible Italian place: if your gluten free I def recommend! Phenomenal gluten-free truffle pasta, best starters and such good wine and aperitifs like espresso martini, Negroni sbagliato and more. Hier werden neben Klassikern der Italienischen Küche auch ausgefallene, geschmackvolle Kreationen angeboten, die sich sehr gut zum Teilen eignen. Dabei ist für jeden Geschmack und in jeder Preisklasse etwas dabei. Die kleinen Dinge, wie sehr gutes Olivenöl, oder leckere Oliven von guter Qualität, die sogar auf Nachfrage nachgefüllt wurden, haben das Restauranterlebnis aufgewertet. Der Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und kompetent beraten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

schon lange da, von mir nicht beachtet, traf ich letzten Freitag zum ersten Mal auf Empfehlung eines Freundes dort ein und war überrascht. Ein kleines, feines, italienisches Restaurant, mit einer sehr überschaubaren, dafür aber umso besseren Speisekarte. Diese ist modern über einen QR-Code zu erlesen, im Anschluss lassen sich die erlesenen Speisen bestellen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die tagliolini al tartufo aber auch die restlichen Speisen sahen lecker aus, beziehungsweise das von mir im Vorfeld verzehrte Vitello Tonnato sehr erfrischend, sowie auch das im Anschluss verzehrte Tiramisu perfekt. Aufmerksame Kellner schlendern durch die Gänge und fragen nach weiteren Wünschen. Es war zum Schluss sehr voll und laut, das macht es aber umso angenehmer. Nach zwei Stunden ist dann aber auch Schluss mit der Reservierung, wir müssen Platz machen, für die dann schon wartenden, nachfolgenden Gäste. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend mit einer gelungenen Speisekarte und guten Getränken. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The offer on food was very limited, unbalanced (like either Arabiata pasta or vegan salad 🤷‍♀️) and quite pricy. However, we took sea bass, and it was fantastic, the drinks are also on point👌 The atmosphere/interior/staff were also great. Menu needs improvement..

Nicely located in a white area of Prenzlauer Berg. Tasty food, big portions, friendly stuff. I’d recommend booking in advance. Ich war das erste Mal hier Essen und war wirklich begeistert, der Service war erstklassig🥇 und das Essen hervorragend.... Wir hatten einen rund im gelungenen Abend... PS: das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch super ... Man bekommt sehr viel Service und hervorragendes Essen für vergleichsweise wenig Geld.... Keine 0815 Gastronomie, sondern eher ein Geheimtipp

Eine völlige Enttäuschung bis Frechheit! Die Vorspeise mit Büffelmozzarella kam direkt aus der Kühlung, was dem Käse jeglichen Geschmack genommen hat. In der Caponata war mehr harte Zwiebel als sonst irgendetwas- entsprechend der Geschmack. Die penne arrabbiata war mit wässriger Tomatensoße und die Nudeln mit Kichererbsen waren ein unansehnlicher, verkochter Brei. Das kann man beim besten Willen nicht essen und hat nichts mit „gehobener italienischen Küche“ zu tun! Wir haben das Essen mit den Worten: „Es schmeckt nicht.“ stehen lassen. Die Frage, ob sie es einpacken sollen, lässt mich darauf schließen, dass die Bedienung mich nicht verstanden hat. Dafür den vollen Preis zu nehmen ist schon frech. Insgesamt furchtbar! Nie wieder! Den einen Stern gibt es, weil ich es sonst nicht posten kann.

Definitely one of the best meals I have had in the last few years. Well made Italian food made from great ingredients. Would recommend it any day.

Während Corona leider sehr unfreundlich und absolut "übervorsichtig und verkrampft". Obwohl nicht rechtlich vorgegeben, Zutritt nur mit Impfzertifikat, selbst für Schwangere (Impfung war damals noch nicht mal zugelassen). Meiner Freundin wurde als Stammkundin doch tatsächlich der Zutritt verwehrt. So vergrault man sich Stammkunden.

Solid place for a pasta night. The menu has several options, which are quite well made. There’s an outdoor area, which is nice for a summer day. The service is good, food comes fast, and the staff are friendly.

Average, overpriced food. We got 4 different pasta dishes, they were pretty average and very garlicky (you could even find garlic peel inside). Sauce wasn’t properly cooked, rather heated up. Arrabbiata wasn’t spicy at all. Same goes for the wine. A Win Win Riesling for EUR 38, it’s been sold usually for 10,50 EUR. Bad experience, a rip off.

Food was good but truffle pasta was 30€ and service was quite slow. Bill for 2 wine, starter, 2 pasta, and dessert was €100. Don’t think it was worth the price.

So make sure to ask for a table with chairs. 2* for the food, it is average and way too expensive. Definitely not worth the price. For the same money we paid, you can eat at a 1* Michelin restaurant. (Here, in Berlin) 5* for service, everyone was very nice and attentive.

War heute mit meinem Sohn 9 Jahre alt in der Nähe und mein Sohn müsste auf die Toilette. Ich bin in den Restaurant rein und habe gefragt ob mein Sohn auf die Toilette darf und wollte dafür bezahlen. Als Antwort kann dass es nur für Gäste ist und keine öffentliche Toilette ist. Ich hatte dann gefragt ob ich da auch etwas bestellen kann nur damit mein Kind auf die Toilette gehen darf. Als Antwort kam nur draußen darf ich sitzen (ich sage dann zu meinem Sohn dass ich draußen size und er soll dann ruhig aufs Örtchen) . Plötzlich schreit mich der Kellner an (do swedanja) Ich spreche nicht russisch habe aber verstanden dass ich gehen soll. Schade dass Personal so mit potentiellen Gästen umgeht. Wir haben dann uns im Nachbar Lokal hingesetzt und haben da zu Mittag gegessen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen wegen der Abneigung gegen Kinder wie auch Gästen.

Erst einmal das Gute. Das Personal ist sehr nett und das Essen war sehr gut. Die Portionen waren so klein, dass man auf keinen Fall hungrig hingehen sollte. Dafür ist es aber teuer. Es gibt nur eine Toilette 🚽. Das ist wirklich zu wenig. Ich komme nicht mehr wieder.

Atendentes simpáticas e competentes. A comida chegou muito rápido e estava muitoooo boa! Pasta no ponto certo, sabor delicado e marcante. Bebidas muito gostosas. Recomendo!
