Customer service training highly recommended!! Yesterday we had a very sobering experience in the Panino restaurant. At the beginning we were welcomed by a very friendly and attentive waiter and taken to the already set table. After a short wait, the drinks were ordered, which quickly followed. So much for the positive part. Three courses, with a Groupon voucher, were promised. Starting with a pretty good soup, we moved on to the main course. Two pizzas and two pasta dishes for the four of us. The food was basically ok, but nothing special. The pizzas tasted more like they came from an American fast food chain than from an upscale Italian restaurant. In our opinion the pasta dishes were a 6 out of 10 - bland but acceptable. Then dessert (tiramisu), for which we had to wait a long time despite repeated requests. It was delicious, hence the two stars. Our empty drinks were not taken into account at all and due to the lack of asking whether we wanted anything else, we had the feeling that we were not wanted at all. The crowning moment came at the end when the bill for the drinks, which was still outstanding, arrived - mind you, when asked and after a long wait, slapped on the table without comment - along with beer and water, two Hugos were ordered, which cost €8 instead of the €5 shown on the menu. 50€ were listed. When we asked, we experienced a prime example of poor customer service. Instead of addressing our concerns, the waiter reacted angrily. We would have ordered Hugo Spritz (with Prosseco) instead of Hugo with wine. We ordered “Hugo”, nothing more and nothing less. If there are different varieties on the menu, you can also ask which one you want. That's how it's done when the water is splashy. 😉 After a short discussion and a zero tolerance attitude, the waiter, I think the boss, left cursing loudly and didn't pay any attention to us. We even had to go to the counter to pay the bill. So due to a rather mediocre to bad Hugo (mint was anything but fresh), an exciting experience that you shouldn't have. We do not make any recommendations!

The Italian-sounding restaurant is actually Greek. Nevertheless, the pizza was just as tasty as the truffle ravioli and the service was friendly and accommodating. Changes and original creations were implemented with a smile. Price/performance was right during our visit.

Order a large plate of stewed pork leg. Women don't eat it all.

The Panino is quietly located in a side street near the main train station. I sat outside with my group and we were able to enjoy the evening undisturbed. The service was more than friendly and accommodating. My tomato soup as a starter tasted excellent. It was served with freshly baked bread that had been placed on the table in advance. The pizza that followed was as it should be: crispy, well topped and very good in terms of appearance and taste. The other dishes also looked very good: octopus, steak, pasta dishes, chicken. Everyone was very happy and full. The offer includes meals for smaller budgets and higher-priced meals. The bottled wines are quite expensive, although of high quality. The visit with a very diverse group of people resulted in general satisfaction. Gladly again.

Always perfect for your lunch break: attractive weekly menu, fair prices and friendly service. And afterwards there's always a coffee on the house.

Sea bream filleted was cooked really well and for a long time, the vegetables were at a temperature so that it could be eaten quickly. Better coordination among employees would bring Carlos more sales. air upward

I had a calzone and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. At the beginning it took a while until our group could order something to drink. But then the service was good. Gladly again.

Pizza looks like a frozen pizza and tastes like a frozen pizza. The price is too high for the low quality. Employees meet with friends in front of the restaurant and swear in Albanian about everything. There is an offer on their website, supposedly every pizza is for €9, but in the end it should cost €12. Too much for the little quality. There are much better and cheaper alternatives in the area where the price-performance ratio is right. Not recommended if you want to eat a good pizza.

The restaurant is located in a side street behind the railway station. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Pleasant environment. Very nice and accommodating server. The food is ok with a lot of tagliatelli with sauce but could have been a little more vegetables.

Update 2024: They are trying to use a lawyer to remove reviews, including mine with three stars. The corresponding email is available. PRO-TIP: Always take a photo of the hospitality receipt in this restaurant and add it to the review. This way you won't be in trouble for some time later (at least 5 years for me) as to whether you were there at all. To all reviewers with bad reviews who may be competitors or out for revenge: you are ruining the rating system and doing immense damage to the company. --- Review from 2019: --- Restaurant with a nice atmosphere, absolutely ok for an evening business meal, but cozy is different. We ordered pizza, the fish offered was certainly good, but in an unattainable price range for us (32 euros). Regarding the pizza: please do not compare it with one from Italy. Apart from the size 🍕, which was manageable, there was too much greasy cheese on it for my taste. The ground was soft and not my cup of tea. The service was very friendly, but we probably won't come back...

Everything was great, the service was quick and friendly, the food (pizza) was delicious and we were also served hot sauce (fresh peppers in oil), and finally an ouzo.

I got there and an employee spit on me with a negative grimace. The food tastes terrible. I heard from employees that they cook the leftover food again and put it in the microwave and sell it on. I then called the owner and he said, "You won't achieve anything in life because you are a foreigner," and he shouted at me.

Unfortunately I have to say that I had the worst pizza here in a long time. Dough not cooked through, too much topping and not crispy at all.

I personally ate here and stand by my rating. There are good reasons for this.

Most significant factor for this rating is the food. Low quality ingredients, bland taste and overall too expensive for what you get. Just very basic and not authentic. Staff was trying to be polite but really was way too energetic and in our face, which did not match our vibe. Now they’re trying to remove this review, but tbh it is what it is. Having lived in many big cities with many high standard restaurants this is just very basic compared to that.

Extremely tasty food, impeccable service, reasonable prices. The people who work in the area, as well as the owner, are friendly and courteous.

We had a disgraceful incident at the Panino restaurant where we went for a nice dinner with my brother and our friends. We had to call the waiter 5 times to order. After placing the order, my brother shared this complaint on the internet as a review and the restaurant owner saw this review and came to our table about his comment and called him “Did you write a review on Google like a bi**h?”. This is an establishment and no one can talk to anyone like this. There is no explanation for calling him a bi**h. I have traveled to at least 10 countries and visited thousands of restaurants. I have never seen such a disgrace in my life. This is a restaurant that I would definitely not recommend you to go to. Also, most of the food was bad and even the best that came was mediocre.

It was a really bad experience. We waited 15 minutes and called 5 times for waiter to come and get our order. After that, we waited 40 minutes for the meals too. Since we made a Google comment and mentioned this situation, the owner came to our table and said us “b**ch”. So if you eat there, you do not have any right to criticise. Just a friendly suggestion; do not even pass from his street.

After we were seated, we called for the waiter 4 times. Each time he said he is going to come and he didn’t. This process took 15 mins. We had to get up from our table and literally had to drag him to the table for him to take our order. The order itself wasn’t any faster either. We waited more than 30 minutes for the order to arrive. After I wrote this review, owner came and asked, Did Kayra escape pointing to an empty seat (some of our friends were outside for smoking). Me and a friend of mine were sitting at the table and I said I’m here. Then he said did you write this review like a b**ch? He is absolutely foul-mouthed and extremely rude. He is a bully and has no business in service sector. Definitely avoid this place. It is completely unacceptable to call a customer b**ch. On top of it all, the food, especially lasagna was bad and meat was not medium as ordered. If he paid as much attention to taking orders as he did to swearing and calling his customers a b**ch, it would be even mediocre at best.

Food very good, What's really missing are 2 or 3 more clothes racks and storage space for bags. The cloakroom in front of the restaurant without a direct view for the guest is unacceptable and will cause a lot of problems for the owner when it comes to liability. The owner does not wish to assume any liability for the wardrobe!

The MOST amazing dinner we have had in Frankfurt. Everything is SUPERB; the seafood is fresh and grilled to perfection. Their grilled octopus is to die for! Their service is beyond friendly and accommodating. Overall an excellent experience. Will definitely return! The seafood was very fresh and grilled to perfection. The price is very reasonable for the quality and service. Will definitely come back to eat again!

A high-end restaurant. If you are looking for cuisine with fish, go for it. I had grilled sea bream with vegetables. On the other hand, it's not for everyone, the prices are high but the contents of the plate are worth it - I had a dessert out of greed, not out of hunger. Remember to dress properly. I do not recommend it for children.

Yesterday we had a spontaneous meal there with a larger group. It was one of my worst meals in a long time. It started with us initially only getting the drink menu, two for the entire group, and being left sitting. After ordering the drinks and pointing them out, we finally received a meal ticket, but only from the daily menu and without prices. If requested, a normal card. You couldn't keep up with the pizza menu because the pizza maker wasn't there. So we ordered a mix of meat, pasta and salad dishes. And well, what can you say. The salads have no taste, some without dressing. The meat dishes are partly frozen and not well cooked (minced meat). The pasta dishes were NOT amazing. Vinegar not edible!!!!! also with minced meat sometimes. In addition, the prices were very reasonable. When information was given when paying, a discussion broke out that became increasingly impertinent. We can only advise against entering this store to eat.

Nhà hàng khá đẹp và ấm áp, tiếc là có một anh nhân viên phục vụ không hiểu sao rất cau có, thái độ phục vụ kém. Bữa ăn với 1 món giò heo hầm kiểu Đức, một vài bàn thì có bánh mỳ, còn nhiều bàn không có. Cảm giác không hài lòng.

Absolut tolles Lokal, in dem wir anlässlich eines „Firmen“-Abendessens waren. Wir erhielten vorab einen Menüvorschlag, der schon so genial war, dass wir nichts daran ändern mussten. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell. Der Gruß aus der Küche (Pizza Caprese, Rösti mit Lachs und Blätterteigtaschen) waren absolut lecker, das eigentliche Menü eine 9/10. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für den tollen Abend!

跟朋友兩人走進這家評價很高的地中海餐廳 我很喜歡他們的店員，服務很親切很熱情， 推薦給我們兩個好喝的白啤酒 不過主餐不知道是不是我們點的不對，我覺得差強人意。 朋友點了了羊排，我點了烤肉拼盤，都蠻一般的 最後我們倆都沒有吃完。也有可能是前兩天我們吃到的土耳其烤肉滋味太棒了，這間的地中海式烤肉就相形遜色了不少 沙拉的dressing很讚，非常好吃，我是不太愛吃沙拉的人，但他的沙拉其實很大份可我依然能把他吃光 不過最重要的主餐真的普通，所以還是只能給到3分

Schade...leider dann doch nur Mittelfeld...Begrüßung von Chef bei einer Reservierung für fast 20 Personen wo 4 Leute fehlten man könne doch bitte vorher Bescheid sagen und dass wo das Lokal nur zu 30 % gefüllt war...Service leider auch Mittelfeld...extrawünsche wurden ignoriert...Getränke Bestellung musste man aktiv anmerken...WC Anlage nicht zeitgemäß

The restaurant has a large outdoor area, which on a warm night is a good setting. The downside to this is that smokers are also puffing away right next to you. The food is good, but not exceptional. I'd equate it to a good pub meal in Australia. We had a Spagetti Carbonara and a Schitzel a beer and two glasses of wine for about 40 euro. The place was very busy as they had a function that evening and the staff were struggling to keep up. They started of very friendly, but later you could see the stress on their faces and their smiles disappeared. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it.

Mal was zum Mittagstisch probiert. Essen war gut und der Service war auch recht flott. Schade ist, das direkt an den Tischen im Außenbereich, die Anwohner mit ihren Autos vorbei müssen. Ebenfalls kann das Umfeld Frankfurt typisch mit allerlei Charakteren aufwarten.

Sehr guter und freundlicher Service. Leckeres Essen, was frisch zubereitet wird. Panino würde ich jederzeit wieder besuchen kommen.

Ich war einmal zum Essen vor Ort und einmal habe ich etwas mitgenommen. Vor Ort betrug die Wartezeit auf die Pizza bei nicht viel Betrieb glatte 45min! Das war schon heftig und wir kurz davor zu gehen. Die Pizza an sich war aber lecker. Beim Bestellen zum Mitnehmen hieß es, meine Nudeln dauern "maximal 7-8min" und ich wartete am Ende 20min in einem fast leeren Restaurant. Geschmeckt haben sie ganz gut, waren aber in meinen Augen ihren Preis nicht ganz wert. Positiv fand ich das relativ große Außenareal, allerdings ist die Gegend natürlich nicht die angehnehmste. Wenn ich mal wieder dort sein (und viel Zeit haben) sollte, schau ich evtl nochmal vorbei.

Das herzliche, sehr sympathische Wirtspaar und ihr engagiertes, freundliches, aufmerksames Team haben uns mal wieder einen großartigen Abend beschert. Kulinarisch blieben keine Wünsche offen. Sehr gute mediterran-griechische Küche, Pasta, feine Desserts und ein exzellenter Siebträger-Espresso in angenehmem Ambiente. Das Panino ist eine feste Größe bei jedem Frankfurt-Besuch! Vielen Dank!

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe beim Frankfurt Marathon und haben sowohl am Samstag als auch am Sonntag im Panino mit 6 bzw. 11 Personen gegessen. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Qualität des Essens und der Getränke waren absolut top. Die Mitarbeiter der absolute Hit, Nett, freundlich und immer zu einem Spaß bereit. Sehr schnelle Zubereitung des Essens und alles gleichzeitig serviert. Auch nach dem Essen sehr gute Betreuung der Getränke und an beiden Tagen gab es eine Runde aufs Haus. Von der Pizza, über die griechischen Speisen bis zu den Nudeln alles schmeckte super lecker. Die Vorspeisen waren der Hit. Der Preis angepasst und die Größe der Portionen wirklich gut. Am Ende der zwei Besuche findet man nichts zu beanstanden. Sollten wir mal wieder in Frankfurt sein kommen wir auf jedenfall wieder vorbei……! Grüße aus dem Emsland von den Marathonis…..

Octopus mit Grillgemüse als Hauptspeise bestellt, jedoch in einer Vorspeise-Größe serviert bekommen, leider auch ohne Grillgemüse, sondern mit ganz wenig Salat. Der Fisch wurde wahrscheinlich zu lange gegrillt, war an vielen Stellen schwarz. Ich war vor Jahren schon paar Mal in diesem Restaurant, die Essensqualität war besser.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort. Guten Angebote zu einem fairen Preis. Großer Außenbereich vorhanden. Freundliche Bedienung. Keine Parkplätze aber im Bahnhof um die Ecke kann man in der Tiefgarage parken.

Das Essen roch komisch - gar nicht richtig zuzuordnen. Schmeckte auch nicht gut. Ausserdem kümmerte sich der Service besonders gut, nur nicht um die Gäste. Unaufmerksam, obwohl kaum Gäste da waren. Am Nebentisch wurde eine Bestellung falsch aufgenommen. Jakobsmuscheln bestellt - Surf and Turf bekommen. Und dann noch Anstalten gemacht umzutauschen- Unterirdisch! Ach ja, es gab doch noch was Gutes. Der offene Chardonnay war ganz ordentlich!

Craving something different to German food, our hotel recommended this restaurant which was just around the corner. Even though other Italian restaurants rated higher, I was put off by the fact that the majority of the reviews had voted excellent and yet only contributed once, I am noticing this quite a lot of Tripadvisor and am always suspect that friends and family are boosting the ratings. So pleased we took the recomend from the Hotel and not TA in this instance. Great restaurant hidden away amongst the living area, easy to find and safe to walk to, close to the train station. An unusual menu mix of Italian, Greek and German but everything done authentically well. The servers seemed to be the 3 mixed nationalities and it made us wonder wether the Italian chef was married to a Greek chef who both lived in Germany! The waiters were all very helpful and pleasant and professional. I had the salmon & asparagus with risotto and hubby had the chicken with risotto. The fish and the chicken seemed to have been cooked on an open flame grill and were really tasty, made us think how amazing the lamb chops would have been!! The chicken was moist and the risotto came steaming hot, delicious and creamy. The waiter made a mistake and brought us a dearer wine....but it was really lovely and we did enjoy it. We returned the next day for lunch before we travelled home as they were one of a few restaurants open on Sunday and had spaghetti bolognese and a lasagna, both delicious. We also sampled some of the greek deserts both days and they were really good. The restaurant had a lovely outside area for eating along with blankets if you got a bit chilly. The inside has 2 eating areas, the main area had crisp white table clothes and a candle was lit when you sat down, the other area nearer the bar was more casual, no table clothes and ideal for a more casual meal or snack. Would definitely recomend if you have a Greek or Italian food craving, and covered all moods from romantic to friends night out. The only one thing to say is make sure you have enough cash to cover the bill. In the evening we payed with credit card but on the Sunday there was a problem with the internet and we had to pay cash which we fortunately had otherwise would have been a bit embarrassing. We were a bit suspect but when we returned to our hotel to pick up our luggage the receptionist confirmed that they sometimes had problems in that area.

No está mal. Terraza, servicio amable. Precios aceptables . Nos quedó la duda de si eran (o querían ser) italianos, griegos, restaurante de carne... Es difícil que un restaurante haga muy bien comida griega, y carne (argentina?), pizzas, pasta... Local por dentro con un toque que imagino pretende ser moderno, cool, fashion o como se quiera llamar- supongo que de ello el nombre "lounge". Pero globalment la comida no estaba mal. Puede ser una opción si por ubicación conviene.

Essen wie immer sehr gut. Leider ist kein entspanntes Essen draußen mehr möglich, da man im Kaffee gegenüber versucht auf Club zumachen und die Musik quer über den Platz schallt. Sehr schade, vielleicht irgendwann mal wieder....

Super lecker und sehr nettes Personal! Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Die Cocktails waren leider wirklich sehr stark, aber sonst alles super. Vielen lieben Dank, gerne wieder!

Das Lokal ist ansprechend eingerichtet, aber wir haben das gute Wetter genutzt um draußen zu sitzen. Das war auch kein Problem, denn Abstände waren, aufgrund der großzügigen Verteilung der Tische, immer gewährleistet. Der Service war nett und wir suchten etwas aus der Mittagskarte aus. Vegetarisch ist eher dünn, und so hatte ich die Nudeln mit getrockneten Tomaten. Was ich bekam war in Soße ertränkte Nudeln mit etwas das kaum als getrocknete Tomaten erkennbar waren und Käse der nach wenig schmeckte. Auch meine Begleitung war wenig begeistert. Leider war das nichts und ich denke auch nicht, dass ich so bald wiederkommen werde.

Our tour group had a farewell dinner here. The service was fast and the traditional German pork shoulder was delicious. One big dish of several kinds of meat to share by two. We just couldn't finish half of them.

This restaurant was an amazing find right near our hotel. The staff was so friendly. The atmosphere was lovely without being stuffy. But best of all the menu was extensive and the food was amazing.

This time I was traveled with tour to this restaurant, and I was so upset with their arrangement; tables were not properly arranged - the restaurant was trying to squeeze 24 people into an area where it could only fit 18! Besides, the food arrangement was a mess, with some of us not receiving a proper food set. Next time when I need to travel Frankfurt again I'll not recommend my company to go!

A Greek restaurant with Italian flavours or an Italian restaurant With Greek influence this is a place worth a visit near the hauptbahnof. I had the spanino , the feta cheese in a tasty tomato sauce with onions and garlic flavours. Good Tiramisu for dessert. Worth a visit but please don't expect any pizzas.

The food was very good. We had Penne Chorizo and was very tasty. Second time we were there we had grilled fish and was fresh and well prepared. Not crowded ( we sat at a table on the garden both times ) and the waiter was friendly and attentive. Prices are higher compared with the bistro's around.

Go there the food was excellent the waiter was very friendly and its in a nice setting.When we where there it was not to crowds my wife had a steak and I had fish everything was fresh and enough.

I had the Tuna steak, medium. It was only lukewarm, the red pepper puree was so bitter I couldn’t eat it. The potatos were ok. Tried two wines, didn’t like either and was not happy overall with price (nearly 30eur).
