I stumbled upon a local restaurant while passing by. I saw a line of people waiting, so I decided to go in. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable.

A very nice restaurant with excellent food. We were initially very impressed with the service. Unfortunately, it declined somewhat as it got busier. However, this did not detract from our wonderful experience at this fantastic restaurant.

After making a reservation for Sunday at 5 pm over a month in advance, I received a call the evening before our planned meal informing me that they had decided to close the restaurant at 4 pm. Very disappointing. The woman on the phone was sorry about it, but unfortunately, that didn't spare us the last-minute stress of having to find an alternative place to eat. At least they called, I guess.

Unpleasant experience, our slot has been shortened, it took ages to get drinks (which have to be paid separately), we queued for over an hour and each time there was no food or clean plates. They also delete bad reviews - spare your money and time.

We were a group of five and ate at this restaurant during a city break. The atmosphere was super cozy. We also really liked the selection of dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The vegetarian appetizer platter was especially delicious. The waitresses were very attentive. Unfortunately, the plates were cleared very quickly while others at the table were still eating. This made us feel quite rushed to leave the restaurant. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

We were there on Monday and had a fantastic evening from start to finish. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt very well looked after from beginning to end. The food was excellent, and the truffle linguine was a real highlight. The atmosphere was wonderful, and our seats were perfect. Overall, an absolutely positive experience, and we would recommend the restaurant without hesitation and would definitely return.

We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit today. The service was very friendly and attentive. All the dishes were freshly prepared and, without exception, delicious. Kudos to the kitchen! The ambiance, however, is debatable. The plastic plants hanging from the ceiling are definitely not my style.

We had a wonderful meal at Frau Nanna's. I chose the restaurant for our evening in Frankfurt because of its extensive vegan selection, and the food was absolutely delicious. My partner was also very happy with the non-vegan dishes. The best part of the evening, however, was the friendly and attentive service. Vegan wines are clearly marked among the reds, but not among the whites. The person who attended our table insisted on checking with the bar for me, and so I was able to enjoy a very tasty white wine with my meal.

Today was my first time at Frau Nanna's. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. No complaints whatsoever, I'd gladly come again.

The pita with aioli was great 10/10 The vegan shawarma plate was okay 7/10, but the eggplant was seasoned really strangely. The truffle pasta 3/10 lacked flavor (it wasn't seasoned enough for us). The salad was nice 6.5/10 (would get a 10/10 if they added more dressing because it tasted really good and the chicken wasn't dry). The service was nice and friendly. The atmosphere is super cool.

We were back in Frankfurt after two years. Back then, we ended up at Frau Nanna's by chance (Alex had given us the tip). The food was gluten-free and very tasty. So it was clear that we would return here on our next visit. What can we say? We were not disappointed. It was once again very tasty, with combinations we hadn't tried before. And, above all, the selection of gluten-free dishes was very large. The service was competent, friendly, and always attentive. Unfortunately, we can't give more than 5 stars. You deserve it. We'll be back. Without a doubt.

Delicious food, friendly service

Overall everything is fine, but the new menu is a clear step down compared to before. While it’s still good, many of the signature dishes, tapas, and drinks are missing, which takes away some of the charm. That said, the location remains very pleasant, the staff is friendly, and dogs are welcome a big plus. Breakfast, however, is still the absolute highlight and highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The appetizer plate and my cocktails were delicious. I was kind of underwhelmed by the eggplant but the wonderful service, ambience, and huge variety in their vegan offerings made up for it several times over. I was also surprised by how relatively affordable this restaurant is for a trendy vegan spot.

I do not understand the hype of this place at all. My date and I got sick after eating here (me a bit less because i could barely finish half the food), and the server was rude to us. The food had a hard plastic-like sharp piece that I almost choked on. I am literally so confused why people would choose to pay and dine here when for us it meant directly having to return home to remedy the food sickness. I appreciate that they have vegan options and the idea but the execution needs a lot of work.

You can enjoy a delicious, healthy brunch here, all freshly homemade and prepared with love. Perfect for vegans and vegetarians, they also serve delicious coffee with Oatly 😍 I think you could spend a pleasant evening here and spend some cozy, pleasant hours 😄 They really need to move or expand to a larger space; demand is so high that it's always full and booked, so reservations are mandatory. Despite all that, the friendly waitresses always create a great atmosphere and mood. Despite the high acoustics, you can have a good conversation, and you'll always be full. We love coming here ❤️

There were three of us and we had made a reservation for the vegetarian brunch on a Saturday. The table was reserved inside, but since the weather was nice, we were given a table for four outside. The server was super friendly and answered questions competently. The brunch seemed homemade in every way; I particularly liked the various dips and the potato salad. The homemade lemonades were also delicious. I have only one complaint: the outdoor chairs are very hard and our butts hurt after a short while. That could be improved. Otherwise, a top-notch location in a convenient location with delicious food and drinks. I'd be happy to come back.

We had a reservation for brunch. Unfortunately, the food was not tasty at all. The salads were hardly seasoned, lacking salt and everything that defines Mediterranean cuisine, such as garlic, onions, and fresh herbs. Some of the vegetables, such as the broccoli, did not look fresh. The service was generally polite but rather cool and seemed extremely stressed. We had to wait at least 25 minutes for our coffee and had already eaten without having anything to drink. There were no small spoons for the coffee; we had to get them separately. Unfortunately, the coffee was not good either, tasted bitter and watery. However, the ambiance is nice and the location is good. For what was offered for brunch, it was much too expensive.

We went there for brunch for the first time on Sunday. The location is very nice, both inside and out. Modern, cheerful, and casual. We first ordered drinks, which unfortunately took quite a while. We had to ask twice. Then we went to the buffet. The first impression was very good. We immediately tucked in and took just a little of each item to try. We then had some bread, as the rolls were already gone. At the table, we briefly discussed the large selection. Then everyone started eating. And then it quickly became clear that the food only looked good, but had no flavor or seasoning. If it did have any seasoning, it was completely oversalted, like the avocado salad, for example. Somehow the chef or chefs had completely forgotten to season it. There were salt and pepper shakers everywhere, but Mediterranean cuisine needs much more than salt and pepper. All in all, a disappointing experience. It's a shame, because the restaurant really had the potential to become a favorite. Perhaps it's because there's too much choice. Sometimes less is more.

The service was prompt, and we ate in a short time. That was great for us, as we had to leave. The quality of the shawarma plate was good, even if it was interpreted differently. Only the prices were a bit too high, with almost all main courses around €20...

Instead of admitting the mistake, they blamed us and subsequently became very rude. They also asked us to pay even though we hadn't finished our meals. It's a shame.

The food was incredibly delicious, and there were plenty of vegan options too. We especially recommend the quesadillas with pulled oyster mushrooms and the vegan truffle pasta :) The restaurant is also beautifully decorated.

My wife and I had dinner at "Bei Frau Nanna" over the weekend, but unfortunately, I can't give it more than one star. For me, if the food in a restaurant doesn't taste better than what you prepare at home, then it doesn't deserve a star. For starters, we had chicken pinchos (€8.90) and mushrooms al ajillo (€6.90). The meat was dry – an indication of poor quality. The mushrooms were okay, but far from a highlight. Overall, solid, but not convincing. My main course, the Black Angus rump steak (€31.90), was bland and unfortunately still cold inside. After I complained, they apparently served the same steak again – presumably reheated in the microwave. That's an absolute no-go for a steak. My steak was literally "well done." The Norwegian salmon fillet with tomatoes (€29.50), which my wife ordered, tasted a bit better, but it also lacked the wow factor – slightly raw inside, and overall average. The Pinot Gris from Weingut Hörner (€9.50 per glass) was mediocre – in my opinion, a wine that doesn't cost more than €7-8 per bottle. Admittedly, ordering a steak in a vegetarian-vegan restaurant is a risk. But if it's on the menu and costs over €31, it should at least be of good quality. My tip: Avoid the steak unless it's prepared properly. I would like to highlight the service – the staff was friendly and very attentive. Our conclusion: We paid around €130 for two people, without dessert. For that price, we would have expected significantly higher quality. The food was "okay" at best – unfortunately, no more.

I tried to make a reservation with the event manager for a group of about 20 people. I almost switched to a different restaurant, because on top of not being accommodating with splitting the check and ordering a la carte, they offered a menu for our group which was more expensive than ordering the same items a la carte. I got better results after going there in person. The staff was very friendly and I was told that for 5pm we have good chances of finding seats coming as a walk in. I'm happy that we did as all the meals looked delicious and were well presented. And my vegetarian platter was great, I loved all the items. The group was happy. Would have been five stars if there was not the initial overpriced menu offer.

We held our board meeting here. My mint tea with ginger was delicious, and the other guests were all satisfied with the quantity and preparation of their dishes. The ambiance was a bit quaint. I was particularly impressed by Roberta, who remembered our names and took the group photo. The free parking in the "The East" underground garage around the corner is a welcome bonus. At the posted €3/hour, I saved more in three hours than the tip I paid Roberta. I want to go back here.

I highly recommend this restaurant. There's something for everyone. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the braised ribs, as they've been removed from the menu. For all meat lovers, there's still a good cut of meat to choose from. Almost everything on the menu is vegan. So, there's truly something for everyone.

FrauNanna scores points with a solid concept and a good location, but overall feels rather average. The ambiance suffers from the smokers outside, and the food doesn't leave a lasting impression. For a more pleasant experience, it's better to opt for alternatives where both the menu creations and the outdoor atmosphere are more harmonious.

It was delicious, and the dish composition was something different. The atmosphere was pleasant, the server very friendly and on the ball, even though it was busy. For me, the blackcurrant lemonade could have been more acidic and a bit more depth, and the rump steak dish could have used more salt, but you can always add more salt to your liking. Just nitpicking.

Unfortunately, the food was tasteless. The chef seemed to have put in a lot of effort, but it wasn't particularly tasty. The steak was bland. The pasta tasted primitive, like spaghetti mixed with raw tomato paste. The waiters were very nice and polite; there's nothing to complain about.

Und weil ich Geburtstag hatte, gab es noch einen Sekt aufs Haus. Schade, dass wir nur zu Besuch in Frankfurt waren. Ins "Bei Frau Nanna" würden wir sonst öfters kommen.

The place has a very pleasant atmosphere, although it doesn't have air conditioning. The food is very good. We ordered two homemade lemonades, a Shawarma Teller, a Steak Cheese Burger with sweet potato fries, and a Maracuja Cheesecake. Tamara and Alex served us very well and were very attentive and polite.

The service was impeccable. The waiters are attentive, courteous, and professional. They are always there to answer questions and assist with meal selection, yet remain unobtrusive and sensitive. You get the feeling that the staff truly cares about their guests' well-being.

I visited Bei Frau Nana because of the many positive Google reviews. The staff was really attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and very spacious. There was a wide selection of dishes, and my lemonade was really delicious. Unfortunately, the octopus was extremely dry and didn't taste fresh at all. I was honestly quite disappointed with the taste. My companion even said it tasted like defrosted octopus that had been left in the fridge too long. The falafel were okay, but also a bit dry. The only dish that was really good and well-made was the halloumi hummus. Overall, the atmosphere was very pleasant, but the food unfortunately wasn't impressive in terms of taste. Beautiful to look at – but rather average in terms of cuisine.
