At Frau Nanna's, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the selection of vegan dishes is truly extensive. Even with my intolerances, I easily found something delicious. 😊

The food components didn't match at all. The food was cold and not worth the price.

The food was very good, as was the atmosphere. However, the staff could have been friendlier. We ordered one drink but received a different one. Instead of admitting the mistake, they blamed us and subsequently became very rude. They also asked us to pay even though we hadn't finished our meals. It's a shame.

Overall the brunch was good. The hummus and the pita breads were quite delicious. The spread was also good and had a nice variety of dishes. I was a little disappointed by the shakshuka and waffles. But apart from that it was fine. No drinks are included which is a bit of bummer for the price. Service was okayish.

I had the lentil pancake, crispy on the outside, moist and spicy on the inside. The service was very child-friendly and attentive. It's easy to have a good conversation in the restaurant; it's not too loud. The tables could use a good sanding and wiping; they have a sticky texture.

Perfect experience from start to end 😍 The people working here are so friendly and welcoming. Really big salute to the team for managing so many people with a great smile. My wife and I had dinner at "Bei Frau Nanna" over the weekend, but unfortunately, I can't give it more than one star. For me, if the food in a restaurant doesn't taste better than what you prepare at home, then it doesn't deserve a star. For starters, we had chicken pinchos (€8.90) and mushrooms al ajillo (€6.90). The meat was dry – an indication of poor quality. The mushrooms were okay, but far from a highlight. Overall, solid, but not convincing. My main course, the Black Angus rump steak (€31.90), was bland and unfortunately still cold inside. After I complained, they apparently served the same steak again – presumably reheated in the microwave. That's an absolute no-go for a steak. My steak was literally "well done." The Norwegian salmon fillet with tomatoes (€29.50), which my wife ordered, tasted a bit better, but it also lacked the wow factor – slightly raw inside, and overall average. The Pinot Gris from Weingut Hörner (€9.50 per glass) was mediocre – in my opinion, a wine that doesn't cost more than €7-8 per bottle. Admittedly, ordering a steak in a vegetarian-vegan restaurant is a risk. But if it's on the menu and costs over €31, it should at least be of good quality. My tip: Avoid the steak unless it's prepared properly. I would like to highlight the service – the staff was friendly and very attentive. Our conclusion: We paid around €130 for two people, without dessert. For that price, we would have expected significantly higher quality. The food was "okay" at best – unfortunately, no more.

I tried to make a reservation with the event manager for a group of about 20 people. I almost switched to a different restaurant, because on top of not being accommodating with splitting the check and ordering a la carte, they offered a menu for our group which was more expensive than ordering the same items a la carte. I got better results after going there in person. The staff was very friendly and I was told that for 5pm we have good chances of finding seats coming as a walk in. I'm happy that we did as all the meals looked delicious and were well presented. And my vegetarian platter was great, I loved all the items. The group was happy. Would have been five stars if there was not the initial overpriced menu offer.

A very nice and cozy spot, great service, and I felt comfortable. The food is good, but not so exceptional that I would go back anytime soon. You can definitely do it, but you don't have to.

We held our board meeting here. My mint tea with ginger was delicious, and the other guests were all satisfied with the quantity and preparation of their dishes. The ambiance was a bit quaint. I was particularly impressed by Roberta, who remembered our names and took the group photo. The free parking in the "The East" underground garage around the corner is a welcome bonus. At the posted €3/hour, I saved more in three hours than the tip I paid Roberta. I want to go back here.

I highly recommend this restaurant. There's something for everyone. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the braised ribs, as they've been removed from the menu. For all meat lovers, there's still a good cut of meat to choose from. Almost everything on the menu is vegan. So, there's truly something for everyone.

It was delicious, and the dish composition was something different. The atmosphere was pleasant, the server very friendly and on the ball, even though it was busy. For me, the blackcurrant lemonade could have been more acidic and a bit more depth, and the rump steak dish could have used more salt, but you can always add more salt to your liking. Just nitpicking.

FrauNanna scores points with a solid concept and a good location, but overall feels rather average. The ambiance suffers from the smokers outside, and the food doesn't leave a lasting impression. For a more pleasant experience, it's better to opt for alternatives where both the menu creations and the outdoor atmosphere are more harmonious.

Unfortunately, the food was tasteless. The chef seemed to have put in a lot of effort, but it wasn't particularly tasty. The steak was bland. The pasta tasted primitive, like spaghetti mixed with raw tomato paste. The waiters were very nice and polite; there's nothing to complain about.

Und weil ich Geburtstag hatte, gab es noch einen Sekt aufs Haus. Schade, dass wir nur zu Besuch in Frankfurt waren. Ins "Bei Frau Nanna" würden wir sonst öfters kommen.

The place has a very pleasant atmosphere, although it doesn't have air conditioning. The food is very good. We ordered two homemade lemonades, a Shawarma Teller, a Steak Cheese Burger with sweet potato fries, and a Maracuja Cheesecake. Tamara and Alex served us very well and were very attentive and polite.

The service was impeccable. The waiters are attentive, courteous, and professional. They are always there to answer questions and assist with meal selection, yet remain unobtrusive and sensitive. You get the feeling that the staff truly cares about their guests' well-being.

I visited Bei Frau Nana because of the many positive Google reviews. The staff was really attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and very spacious. There was a wide selection of dishes, and my lemonade was really delicious. Unfortunately, the octopus was extremely dry and didn't taste fresh at all. I was honestly quite disappointed with the taste. My companion even said it tasted like defrosted octopus that had been left in the fridge too long. The falafel were okay, but also a bit dry. The only dish that was really good and well-made was the halloumi hummus. Overall, the atmosphere was very pleasant, but the food unfortunately wasn't impressive in terms of taste. Beautiful to look at – but rather average in terms of cuisine.

Apparently a more vegetarian/vegan restaurant - so not my first choice. What is striking is the extremely friendly reception. This friendliness continued throughout our entire stay. First class, attentive service. The tacos and quesadillas we chose were excellent in both craftsmanship and taste. Unlike the more militant vegan shops, you can definitely add “meat toppings” to the vegan dishes here, a fact that played into my hands. The drinks (gin sour and homemade lemonade) were also of excellent quality. The two quesadillas that we couldn't manage were packed without any problems, as the waiter probably noticed that we were sleeping in the hotel and carefully added cutlery. Although we were completely full, we treated ourselves to churros for dessert. A wise culinary decision. I have never experienced the quality of this rather simple dessert. A far cry from the oil-dripping, indefinable things at fairs and Christmas markets. All in all, a top evening at a surprisingly reasonable price. Gladly again.

this place is AMAZING! i would have come back a second time if i could. I highly recommend the hummus plates to share. we got the cheese one which was the most amazing hummus ever. i got the steak burger which tasted amazing. nice sauce. slightly messy to eat so don't wear any long white sleeves haha. rest of my party said the quesadilla was very good and they would order again. other person said that the artichoke was slightly hard to eat. staff were nice too and interior was cute

Actually a nice restaurant and nice service, but unfortunately I didn't like the food at all. The mixed starter was still ok, the chicken burger just wasn't tasty in my opinion, and the dessert platter tasted so bad that I preferred not to eat any dessert. I have no idea what's wrong, but I wouldn't want to eat here again.

The vegan/vegetarian brunch is varied and special, and I was particularly impressed by the hearty cabbage pancakes! The service was sometimes in a bit of a hurry and there was sometimes a queue at the buffet that then went between the tables. We sat on the sidelines, so it didn't affect us. Otherwise everything went smoothly and despite a slot limited to 2 hours (10 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.) no time pressure. Modern, colorful atmosphere with lots to see. Come again!

We were there for brunch on Sunday. The concept is good, the service is on point and the price-performance ratio is quite okay. However, the restaurant is a bit too crowded and you always wait in line for at least 10-15 minutes in the first 45 minutes of the 2-hour slot until you can serve yourself at the buffet. From a culinary point of view, the visit was not a revelation, as some dishes simply weren't really convincing because they had technical errors. First of all: The hummus was gigantic, the eggplants were excellent and the couscous was very good. Both egg variations, on the other hand, were dry, as was the falafel, which was cold/stale and so hard that you couldn't really eat it. The chickpeas were bland and should have been cooked for at least 20 minutes longer, and the cabbage casserole/pita dough was still semi-liquid and raw. All other dishes were okay, but could definitely have used more spices. If the manager and the chef would work a little more on the quality and consistency of the dishes, we could recommend "Bei Frau Nanna" without hesitation. So it was unfortunately a nice experience, but nothing more.

The brunch, which is offered on Saturday and Sunday, is very rich, absolutely delicious and of high quality. Even non-vegans get their money's worth. The buffet is constantly replenished and maintained, is very diverse and everything tastes really good. I really like the atmosphere and the service is really top. We'd love to come back!

Yes, it's a shame... I've already been there for brunch. That was great. Now: endless queues at the entrance and through the restaurant for the buffet - going to the toilet or grabbing a piece of bread was an impossibility. As soon as we sat down, it was made clear that the shift change was at 12 p.m. 11:30 a.m. “last round”, 11:45 a.m. cashed in, 11:55 a.m. next shift stood impatiently at the table. Actually, you have no choice but to fill your plate so full on one trip to the buffet, which is accompanied by adversity, so that you don't have to go there again. I don't have to have it again now...

WOW! We travel a lot throughout Germany on our tours and often look for delicious vegan food without much success: what "Frau Nanna" offers in Frankfurt has almost blown us away. The starter plate offers so many different flavors on one plate that we almost ordered a second one. The truffle pasta was also great. We will DEFINITELY come back on our next stopover.

A nice restaurant with really great service. The young lady was friendly and attentive. The food was good. Unfortunately, the chocolate souffle did not have a liquid chocolate center. There is a star deduction because the selection of drinks is so-so, no one at the table liked the wines on the menu and the cocktails are also absolutely not recommended.
