Beautifully located in the countryside, great for sitting outside, but the interior also feels cozy. Very nice service. The noodles are recommended.

A nice place to rest, eat and drink

After the change of tenant, we were in the Biegwald house for the first time... Balkan Grill became Italian cuisine. We were there with a group and our dining experiences were different. The pizzas were all well received, the homemade tortellini were good, the sauce still has room for improvement. Unfortunately, the Schnitzel Mexikana has absolutely nothing to do with Mexico, it was simply schnitzel with mushrooms. When we asked, we were told you could order peppers, corn and fiery spices with it?! Unfortunately the white wine was warm, and here too the criticism was not taken into account. The “schnapps” on the house was a marsala, an Italian sweet wine. Price/performance is borderline Plus, payment is only possible in cash!

I invited my girlfriend to Haus Biegwald and we were both extremely positively surprised. A very nice atmosphere, a really nice inn. The service was top notch and we were able to have a little chat with the owner, who even gave us a short one at the end. I had a rump steak that arrived perfectly medium rare, with lovely fried potatoes. My girlfriend had the tagliatelle with salmon and I think it's one of the best pasta-salmon dishes in all of Ffm. The food was simply great and the whole experience was simply brilliant. Again and again, from the heart, with pleasure. 5 ***** in every way!

I was there yesterday with my cousin and her daughter. We had the salmon fillet, schnitzel and the little one had the homemade tortellini and all of it was very tasty. Our mouse was given some gummy bears and was beaming from ear to ear. We sat on the terrace and watched the dogs train while we ate - which was very well received by our little one. generally a dog and child friendly atmosphere. we'll definitely be back!

Never had a beer as delicious as yours

I'm just excited. They try very hard. The interior has been spruced up, it now has that Italian charm. You feel good. The outdoor area, as always, a dream, with a view of the greenery. You can sit wonderfully quietly under the ancient, large trees and, thanks to the perfect opening times, you can stop by at any time. A great destination for cyclists and walkers. Whether inside or outside there is enough space for larger celebrations. But most of all, the food... I can only rave. The cooking here takes place with a lot of love and attention, and kudos to the chef. Whether there are special requests to leave the pasta a little softer for my oldies or whatever, we are happy to accommodate them. Pizza, pasta super delicious. The portions are appropriate. I feel super comfortable, an all-round carefree package for Rödelheim. We hope you have a sunny summer soon, a good start and stay with us in the same way.

Today I was in the Biegwald house with my family for the first time since the change of tenant. The food was excellently prepared and tasted great. The parking option is a luxury in the middle of Frankfurt. The service and the ambience were great. We will be back definitely. Thank you

Worst service in a long time. Dessert came first (unfortunately the ice cream was already half melted). The starter and main course came together. The vegetable starters (supposedly from the grill) were floating in oil or, alternatively, still raw. Spices are missing. No recommendation to eat here.

We went to music by the river for the first time since it reopened. It will also be the last time. Just awful

Stopped here as part of the 'Music on the River' event. The bands were good. But that was all. There were maybe 80 people sitting in the beer garden and ONE waiter was on the way. After several attempts, we ordered a beer and a wine, as well as pizza and pasta. After 40 minutes the food came but no drink. After another 5 minutes I went into the restaurant, past a line of about 20 people to get our drinks. They were then brought after further waiting. In the meantime, I tried unsuccessfully to get used to the worst pizza in years. Hard, dry convenience dough with thawed, wet spinach, gorgonzola and mushrooms. No spice. I gave up halfway through. Apart from the look, the whole thing had little or nothing to do with a delicious pizza. My beer was neither well tapped nor tasty. It remains to be mentioned that the table was very dirty from previous guests, with leftover food and cigarette ash. Hygiene from the bottom drawer. The empty plates were cleared away after about an hour. When I mentioned while paying that the pizza was the worst in years, the change was slammed onto the table without a word. All in all: this is how you win customers...

The food was super tasty 💯 Points to the chef, as well as 💯 points to the operation and service, can be recommended at any time, the only problem was the parking lot, which was cordoned off because the dog people had a tournament on Mother's Day, which I thought was crazy have. It's nice that there are new tenants in Haus Biegwald again.

The restaurant is a bit out of the way at a dog training area, which is generally nice for dog lovers. However, since the tenant changed, it appears to be very primitive convenience food. Beer is not filled to the filling line. Eating out is no fun.

!!Hands off!! We told the waiter we wanted to pay, then the owner came and told us 88 euros. Without invoice, without invoice statement. That seemed like a lot to us, so I asked for the bill and statement and suddenly it was only 78 euros. ;-) …. About the food and service: There was probably a change of ownership, the menu is a mix of Italian and German dishes, everything bought and unfortunately nothing homemade. Bruschetta was a joke, we were served baguette with tomato sauce from the supermarket. The waiter and owner openly smoke outside the door.

Friendly atmosphere. Friendly service. But unfortunately we were not satisfied with the food. For starters we ordered bruscetta with tomatoes, garlic..., we know it to be served on toasted bread and not as pizza. Pizza dough was totally low in salt. Ordered pizza with salami, it also tasted low in salt, salami doesn't taste good either. Spaghetti Frutti de Mare, was okay. Wine was very good and reasonably priced. Sorry, unfortunately it wasn't as we know it from Italian cuisine.

It was my first time there and I have to honestly say the food was great, you get what you order, the service is also great and you are treated well. The only thing that bothered me a little was the price for one thing or another for what you pay You could happily put a little more on your plate, but that's another complaint at a high level. Overall, a fantastic shop with good potential. I hope they stay as high quality as they already are. I'm looking forward to eating there again, really great

New review since change of ownership: Today we tested out the “new” Haus Biegwald under new management and kitchen. The orientation is now Italian/Mediterranean with German influence (schnitzel). The food was delicious. The service was very friendly. And the interior ambience is significantly improved. Definitely worth a visit! Good luck in Rödelheim. Old review BEFORE change of ownership: We like to come to Haus Biegwald regularly! We particularly like the grilled dishes and the schnitzel (personal favorite: the veal schnitzel!). The staff is always friendly to us. The seating areas are cozy. When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside and enjoy the food. There are enough parking spaces if you don't arrive on foot or by bike! I'm getting hungry again now and I'm looking forward to the next visit!

A Croatian restaurant has become an Italian restaurant. The menu offers typical Italian dishes such as pizza, pasta, fish and meat dishes. We had spagetti with frutti the mare, fried calamari, rigattoni with salmon and cream schnitzel. Good in terms of taste and appearance. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and a little better than at the Croatian. My point of criticism is the Aperol Spritz, tepid, not sparkling at all, as if it had no Prosecco in it at all. For 7.50 EUR I expected something better. The price of the desserts as well as the meat and fish dishes was set a little too high, given the location and location. The wine prices are also a bit high: a 0.2 l glass costs EUR 7.00 (unfortunately I cannot recommend Lugana. Good price-performance ratio with room for improvement.

Our meal, rump steak with pepper cream sauce, was good. The mixed cold/warm starter plates were very good. You should really check the pricing again. The renovation was successful, only the parking space still needs to be done.

It's a bit secluded which is very nice and quiet. The conditions are attentive and friendly. You are also very nice and helpful to children and older people. The beautiful ambience invites you to a cozy evening. The kitchen is great. We ate here twice and tried different dishes and they all tasted very good and were well prepared. A big compliment to the kitchen.

Very nice restaurant with a nice selection of food in the middle of the Biegwald. In summer I love the terrace, it's a nice haven of calm in a hectic city. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Always happy to come here, even if it's just for a few ciders.

Strictly need a reservation and they do not accommodate for even small group of two.

The ambience really wasn't that good. It's just a clubhouse. The clientele was 70+. A service person was responsible for everyone. The waiting time was correspondingly long. I've never eaten such bad fries. They were fluffed potatoes. I've never seen anything like it, let alone eaten it.

Leckeres Essen. Nette Besitzer und netter Service. Im Sommer kann man sehr schön draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen mit Blick ins Grüne.

Hier sitzt man einfach gemütlich auf der Terrasse und bekommt eine ordentliche Portion Essen auf den Tisch. Tolles Personal. Genau richtig für einen Tag an dem die heimische Küche kalt bleiben soll.

Fühlt sich an wie Essen bei der Familie. Freundlich, geschmackvoll und entspannt.

Bodenständig, erschwingliche Preise, ordentliche Portionen, der Fokus bei den Gerichten liegt auf Fleisch! Es gibt auch ein vegetarisches Gericht! Mich erinnert das Restaurant an den den guten Yugoslawen an der Ecke in den 80ern!

Essen super riesen Portion, leider nur eine Bedienung, er hatte es schwer aber er hat sich sehr angestrengt das alles gut gelaufen ist.

Waren gestern dort essen, Diplomatenplatte, Fleisch war mäßig gewürzt, das Puten fleisch ziemlich trocken, das Gemüse nicht gewürzt nur mit Hollandaise Soße begossen, im großen Ganzen war ich sehr enttäuscht, da so viele Leute vom Restaurant schwärmen, das Essen wäre so toll! Die Bedienung war sehr nett!

Zuvorkommende wirklich freundliche Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen - besonders das Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln ist ein Genuss für alle die dünne, perfekt blasig panierte Kalbsschnitzel lieben.

Man kann draußen und drinnen sitzen, lecker essen und sich einen schönen Abend machen.

Sehr leckeres Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre auf einer großen Terrasse: Wir hatten Cevapcici, Rumpsteak und Schnitzel Wiener Art und waren rundum zufrieden! Es gibt einen großen geschotterten Parkplatz.

Das Lokal ist wunderschön mitten im Grünen gelegen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und preiswert. Absolut empfehlenswertes Lokal👍.

Das Essen schmeckt einfach gut. Besonders ist der nette Service und die traumhafte Lage im Biegwald. Ich fühle mich immer ein wenig wie im Urlaub. 😉

Das Lokal liegt im namensgebenden Biegwald und somit im Grünen, was für Frankfurter Verhältnisse ganz nett ist. Gegenüber vom Lokal ist der Hundetrainingsplatz, auf dem man im Sommer von der Terrasse gut die Hunde bei deren Übungen beobachten kann. Die Küche ist Kroatisch-Deutsch mit den üblichen Gerichten. Der neue Pächter hat sich aber bei der Inneneinrichtung deutlich mehr Mühe gegeben als die Vorgänger. So fühlt man sich auch im Winter bei Kaminfeuer wohl. Das Essen ist gut und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angemessen. Insbesondere die mit Schafskäse gefüllten Fleischgerichte sind empfehlenswert. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und den warmen Slivovitz zum Abschied sollte man sich wenn möglich nicht entgehen lassen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Portionen reichlich und Preis angemessen. Speisekarte mit genügend Auswahl. Besucher Gut bürgerlich. Eine Kneipe wie man die von früher kennt. Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend Eigener Parkplatz vorhanden. Aufgrund desguten Besuches Reservierung empfohlen.
