The portions are very large, taste good, but are largely reminiscent of frozen or ready-made products. For example, the side salad came with a typical ready-made dressing, which is familiar from various supermarkets. The service was very attentive and friendly (probably because there were only very few guests in the restaurant besides us and so the ratio of employees to guests was almost equal), the waiters seemed very authentic. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very rustic, but still cozy. Unfortunately the guest room needed cleaning, there were several cobwebs in the corners.

If you want to experience the (positive!) restaurant feeling of the 90s again, you've come to the right place: the service in waiter's robes is fast, friendly, thinks ahead and is simply great. The landlady behind the counter is attentive and friendly to everyone who comes in. The food is ordered quickly and delivered to the table quickly and that's how it used to be 😉. Large portions of meat and side dishes and a great side salad that would be a main course in some other restaurants. Pricewise it's on the higher end, but all in all: Great and keep it up 👍👍

The restaurant is getting old. The facility still looks the same as it did about 20 years ago. The meals were very rich and tasted very good. Unfortunately the prices have been raised significantly. We will rarely go here anymore.

From restaurateur to restaurateur that the best schnitzel in all of Frankfurt, super friendly staff ensure that the schnitzel is fresh, it really doesn't take long. An absolute 13/10, it was definitely not my last visit, thanks to Tina and her husband 🫶🏽

Nice quaint restaurant. I ate there several years ago and was very satisfied. Food very tasty and very reasonably priced. Salad very fresh and tasty. Cevapcici very juicy and tender. Everything tasted very good. The pancakes were also very tasty.

A place where you can feel someone else's hometown and humanity in the bleak Ppu... You can eat both German and Croatian food! There is a lot of it, and the one that Koreans especially like is cebapčići (chebapčići). And if you want to drink, be sure to order gemišt and eat it together. It would be nice to go there at least once when you come to play.👍 Nice service with friendly staff🙏 also food was good especially grilled and smoked spek in ceevapcici🤤

It used to be good, unfortunately this time we were very disappointed in terms of taste and price. The sauces tasted like packet sauce. The alleged meat from Raznici was pure fat. Also completely overpriced.

If you want to wait 50 min for average food and want to be treated badly by the staff when you ask how long the food will still take because you’re going to miss your train, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. I don’t understand the attitude of the waiters here. When we ask how much longer, they said they didn’t know. That this wasn’t a fast food restaurant (it had already been 40 minutes) and that if we had to leave, we’d need to pay for the food even though we hadn’t received it. After 50 min of waiting, we got it to go as we were going to miss our train. Only to find out they put no cutlery in the bag. Such an awful experience.

...i have to say that some of you world travelers a few facts; there are 3 different climate areas in Croatia and a lot of diversity in traditional food, vine, etc. So ...to say to quote "Balkan food" and there is Schnitzel also for Croatian restaurant, that person has very poor knowledge about our land, food, etc. and isn't competent to write a rewiew!

Direkt am Südbahnhof gelegen. Sehr gute Balkanküche, aber auch regionale (deutsche) Küche wie Schnitzel kann man hier gut essen. Portionen sind reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Der Service ist auch sehr nett und flott. War ein netter Abend im Marjan :) Preise sind auch fair und man bekommt etwas für sein Geld. Ambiente ist etwas rustikal, aber passend und auch alles sauber und gepflegt.

Ein gelungener Abend mit Freunden. Sehr leckeres Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre und zuvorkommenden Service. Wir waren von den gegrillten Calamari und dem Palatschinken am meisten begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eigentlich war ich in meinem Leben schon zu oft kroatisch essen und ziehe mittlerweile „feinere, kleinere Teller“ vor. Aber wir landeten am Südbahnhof von einer Reise an und ich hatte keine Lust mehr, zu kochen. Da fiel unser Blick auf dieses uns schon mindestens seit 50 Jahren bekannte Haus. Wenn sich ein Restaurant eine solche lange Zeit halten kann, muss es doch gut sein, dachten wir und kehrten ein. Draußen und drinnen proppenvoll, die Eintracht spielte um 15:30 Uhr und hier stärkten sich viele Menschen. Der Mann vom Service machte nen echt guten Job! Der Marjan-Teller für 26,90 € (gefülltes Hacksteak, paniertes Schnitzel, Schweinemedaillon, Schweinesteak, Đuveč-Reis, Pommes frites, Beilagensalat) war wirklich sein Geld wert. Das Benediktiner Weißbier und Benediktiner Helle (auch im 0,3 l-Glas) erfreute uns sehr. Angenehm überrascht!

Napravili smo rezervaciju iako je bilo nešto slobodnog mjesta. Brza usluga, nismo trebali dugo čekati. Profesionalna i ljubazna posluga, uredno, čisto, mirno, na dobroj lokaciji.

Essen ist hut, aber das Ambiente sehr sparsam...

Service Bedienung gut, essen 90% . Wir waren 5 Personen und nur 5 Personen und nach eine Stunde Essen , das bißchen lang. Was wird bei bei 20 Personen Platz für 50 oder mehr. Preise um 10-15 % zu hoch.

Wer auf deftiges Essen steht ist hier gut aufgehoben, das Fleisch machte einen hochwertigen Eindruck und war sehr gut zubereitet, klare Empfehlung

Lovely service and friendly staff; very nice atmosphere with well-chosen music, and a good representation of dishes from Croatia. Unfortunately, the food we chose was not authentic enough – giant shrimp and rice simply cannot replace scampi in the “Buzara” recipe – the overall result was more similar to an Asian dish. The "grilled calamari" also lacked authenticity (that something), not only because the calamari was not Adriatic (which is understandable) but also the way it was prepared. The accompanying potato with chard was good. The open Plavac wine was offered chilled, which shouldn't be the case despite the summer months. Luckily, there was a good alternative – a bottled Plavac from Hvar. I would return to try other (non-seafood) dishes that looked promising.

Hat mir sehr gefallen! Der Kellner ist freundlich und kompetent. Das Essen hat mir recht gut geschmeckt. Cevapcici, Pommes, Reis waren in Ordnung. Auch das Spezi hatte noch viel Kohlensäure. Gerne wieder.

Inzwischen eines unserer Stammlokale direkt am Frankfurt Südbahnhof. Leckeres kroatisches Essen und immer sehr netter Service!

Waren eine Gruppe von 8 - das ganze Essen (Vorspeise,Hauptgang,Nachpeise) war super. Kellner sehr sympathisch! Empfehlenswert und wir kommen wieder!

Wir sind nach dem Fußball auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen und konnten auch kurz vor 22:00 Uhr noch etwas essen. Das Restaurant hat seinen Charme, das Essen war super. Wir hatten den Grillteller und die Portion war mehr als reichlich. Zudem ein netter und aufmerksamer Kellner. Super Restaurant!

Immer wieder gerne, gehe ich seit ich in Frankfurt wohne , hier essen. Mittlerweile mindestens Zweimal im Monat. Das Essen ist sehr gut, und mittlerweile gibt es auch zur Saison Fisch. Die Kommunikation super, man lernt viele Meschen kennen. Absolut zu empfehlen!!!

Absolute Empfehlung. Sehr gutes und vernünftiges Essen, netter Service, sauber und schöne Atmosphäre. Wir waren mit Baby da, was kein Pronlem war und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Marjan ist nach vielen Jahren zu einem unserer Stammlokale geworden. Sehr leckere kroatische Küche. Die Qualität der Speisen ist immer gleichbleibend auf hohem Niveau und der Service ist immer schnell und super nett.

De salade was erg basic, maar vers. Ik kreeg gebakken aardappelen in plaats van friet en het glom van de olie. Het vlees was een grote portie, maar helaas zonder smaak. Als je kiest voor kalf als schnitzel, komt er ruim 6 euro op de prijs. Dat waren ze vergeten me te vertellen. De volgende keer als ik moet wachten op de trein in Frankfurt, kies ik een ander restaurant.
