Wir haben hier öfters schon zum liefern bestellt und waren immer mit dem Essen zufrieden. Jetzt das erste Mal vor Ort, war nochmal ein anderes Level. Essen top, Ambiente wunderschön und der Service super :). Wir kommen wieder !

Habe den Big Schmac Burger in vegetarisch bestellt und das war seit den 8 Jahren, die ich veggie bin mit Abstand der leckerste Burger, den ich gegessen hab! Tolles Ambiente, tolle Musik, nette Bedienung, gerne wieder!

Offenbar hatten wir Pan‘s Bebop einfach nicht näher beachtet, denn seit dem Start als Imbiss, hat sich das Bebop zum etablierten Restaurant entwickelt… wir waren am heutigen Sonntag um ca. 19:00 Uhr kurzentschlossen ohne Reservierung da. Das Restaurant war gut besucht, umso mehr haben wir uns gefreut, dass wir noch einen Platz gefunden haben! Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit wundervoller Einrichtung. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Ich entschied, mich, den Schmacc Burger zu essen, mein Schatz den Knusper -Hähnchen Burger. Zunächst haben wir uns aber zwei Espresso Martini bestellt. Die Bedienung war megafreundlich, Getränke und Essen kamen schnell und waren hervorragend ! Das Bebop hat sich auf die Karte geschrieben, Dinge aus der Region zu verarbeiten und möglichst alle Speisen und Getränke die angeboten werden, mit einem regionalen Bezug auf die Karte zu bringen. Das ist durchweg gelungen. Das Essen war köstlich die Cocktails waren gut und die ganze Atmosphäre hat uns sehr gefallen. Offensichtlich haben sich auch die anderen Gäste, die da waren sehr wohl gefühlt. Nachdem wir in der Karte gelesen haben, was für tolle Frühstücksvorschläge es gibt, werden wir demnächst hier auch frühstücken gehen und schon in dieser Woche werden wir mit Freunden hier erneut essen gehen. Wir freuen uns, dass wir das Bebob nach längerer Zeit dann doch noch entdeckt haben, und werden jetzt sicher öfter hier sein….. für alles fünf Sterne von uns!🫶🏻👍🏻

Omg, leider viel zu spät entdeckt 😃. Das Bebop gibts es schon sooo lange und heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen. Wir waren total überrascht, wie toll der Laden eingerichtet ist und was für leckeres Essen (Burger "Schmacc" und "Knusper Hähnchen" und Fritten mit Mayo probiert). Wirklich seeehr lecker. Ebenfalls konnte uns der Espresso Martini überzeugen 😉. Eine kleine Karte, aber das ist auch gut so, denn dann wird die Liebe zum Essen in die richtigen Gerichte gesteckt, was man definitiv schmeckt. Wir waren heute, Sonntag, gegen 19.15 dort. Der Laden war gut besucht. Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen....auch zum Frühstück am WE. Das liest sich in der Karte sehr gut. Kurzum, wir sind begeistert. Probiert es einfach mal aus.

Ich finde das Restaurant echt super. Hier werden alle immer fündig von Veganer bis Fleischesser oder Dessertliebhaber. Auch der Service ist super nett und flexibel. Das Ambiente ist wie ein Wohnzimmer und total gemütlich.

Die Bedienung war Mega! So einen netten Menschen, so ein herzliches Lächeln und ruhige Ausstrahlung habe ich lange nicht mehr erlebt. Ibra hieß unser Kellner und er macht das großartig. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Ich muss jetzt, 2 Tage nachdem ich dort essen war, immer noch über mein Sandwich nachdenken und wie lecker es einfach war. Am Nebentisch wurde versehentlich ein vegetarisches anstatt Fleischgericht geliefert, dieses wurde vom Koch ohne irgendwas sofort reklamiert und richtig gekocht. Fand ich auch sehr positiv. Alles in allem werde ich auf jedenfall nochmal wiederkommen.

Echt toller Ort zum Essen, auch vegan. Super Bedienung und leckeres Burger und Snacks. Extra Soßen sind zwar nicht günstig, aber lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Die Burger sind lecker und die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Für mich gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

Die vegetarische Currywurst war wirklich sehr lecker. Der Service war hervorragend. Das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr gut. Ich kann jedem den Besuch hier empfehlen.

Heute erstmals mit unserer Senior Hündin dort gewesen. Super nette Bedienung und ein tolles gemütliches Ambiente. Für Nelli wurde Wasser bereitgestellt. Für mich als Veganerin war das Essen eine 10/10!!! Selbst mein Freund, als nicht-veganer fand meinen Smash veggi Burger soo gut dass er diesen nächstes Mal dem originalen bevorzugt. Gerne wieder!!

Wir sind regelmäßige Gäste in diesem Restaurant und hatten bisher nie einen Grund zur Beschwerde. Umso enttäuschender war unser letzter Besuch. Zunächst war der von uns reservierte Tisch nicht richtig zugeordnet. Das war zwar kein großes Problem, da wir trotzdem einen Platz hatten, aber es wirkte bereits etwas unorganisiert. Danach gab es einen Fehler bei der Bestellung: Zusätzlich zu den Hauptgerichten hatten wir zwei große Portionen Pommes bestellt – einmal „Fritten“ und einmal „Chips“. Als wir auf den Fehler hinwiesen, bekamen wir zwar eine „korrigierte“ Portion, diese war jedoch deutlich kleiner als üblich (weniger als die Hälfte), und es schien, als wären es die Reste einer anderen Portion. Außerdem war sie kalt statt frisch zubereitet. Wir haben die Kellnerin mehrfach darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Sie entschuldigte sich jedes Mal, aber unternommen wurde nichts. Das Gefühl, ignoriert zu werden, war sehr deutlich. Die größte Überraschung kam jedoch beim Bezahlen: Wieder nur ein „Es tut mir leid, ich habe es weitergegeben“, aber die Rechnung wurde vollständig berechnet – ohne irgendein Entgegenkommen. Es geht uns weder ums Geld noch darum, hungrig zu bleiben. Es ist einfach ein unschöner Umgang mit Stammgästen, die bisher nie etwas beanstandet haben. Ehrlich gesagt hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet.

Wir sind mit sehr hohen Erwartungen zum Frühstück gekommen, vor allem wegen der vielen positiven Bewertungen. Leider konnte unser Besuch diese nicht erfüllen. Der Service hatte keinen guten Start – die Dame, die uns bedient hat, hatte offensichtlich nicht ihren besten Tag, wodurch die Atmosphäre direkt etwas unfreundlich wirkte. Das hat sich im Laufe des Besuchs auch nicht wirklich verbessert. Das Essen sah zwar gut aus, geschmacklich hat es uns aber nicht überzeugt. Es war in Ordnung, aber weit entfernt von dem, was wir erwartet hatten. Insgesamt kein kompletter Reinfall, aber für den Preis und den Ruf des Ladens hatten wir uns deutlich mehr erhofft.

Tolles Lokal mit unfassbar gemütlicher Atmosphäre und leckerem Essen. Da verbringt man ganz leicht auch mal gut und gerne ein Stündchen mehr. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich muss zugeben, ich fand das Essen okay. Hat mich jetzt nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Wir waren aber auch zu einem späten Frühstück da. Vielleicht sollte man lieber abends oder früher am Morgen dorthin gehen Dafür ist das Ambiente und der Service, umso netter .

So eine tolle Location, sehr gemütlich und bei schön Wetter kann man sogar draußen sitzen. Essen ist super lecker und der Service 1A ! Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen…. Ich komme gern wieder :)

Auf der Suche nach veganen Frühstückslokalen sind wir aufs PANs Bebop aufmerksam geworden und es war unfassbar lecker! Hier passt alles. Ambiente, super freundliches Personal und so so gutes Frühstück! Alles wird frisch und selbst zubereitet und fast alles aus der Karte kann man optional vegan bestellen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

This is where you'll find the best burger in North Rhine-Westphalia! Plus, a distinctive atmosphere with fitting music from the anime of the same name, Cowboy Bebop. The meat-free versions are just as good (even for non-vegans) as the meat-based ones! I highly recommend the Cowboy Burger and the Bebop (gin)! A must for fans!

Pan's Bebop is a must-try in Essen! 💚 The food is predominantly vegan and tastes simply amazing. Besides the alternative, charming ambiance, I'd especially like to highlight the service: I've rarely felt so completely at home in a restaurant. They really think about you, making you feel welcome and almost "powdered." If you love delicious vegan food and are looking for a place with a special atmosphere and a great team, you should definitely stop by here!

Very tasty burgers in a nice ambience

This was my second time eating here for dinner and my favorite things are: the living room atmosphere, the nice staff, and unique, homemade food options. Both times I wished the food had more spices. The buffalo cauliflower wings were good, as were the chicken and waffles but neither quite hit the spot. My favorite dish was the poppers. My least favorite was the currywurst. I expected something with the texture of sausage and got a mushy/softer version of the poppers. That was disappointing. Tofu, tempeh or seitan would have been much nicer. The decor is homey and nurturing, but the music playing tonight was a jarring contrast. I‘ve a great deal of respect for rap and hip-hop but hearing multiple songs using a LOT of curse words and raunchy lyrics that explicitly talked about body parts and sexual acts while eating dinner was a turn off. It didn’t match the look or feel of the place and it‘s patrons. I‘m glad I gave the place a couple of tries and I support their overall mission statement, but I won’t go back again. I wish this restaurant the best and hope it continues to grow and thrive!

I came to this restaurant after eating Korean chicken at Rü Fest, and it was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really pleasant and very nice. Unfortunately, the waitress wasn't very friendly and didn't even ask if the food was okay or if we needed anything. But overall, the food was okay.

Pan's Bebop advertises that they cook with love...and you can taste it! Delicious food and a feel-good atmosphere that reminds me of my great-grandmother. All in all, something for the soul - whether with your loved one or your best friend. It's also great that you can now get breakfast burgers in Essen!!! Cute, lovingly designed beer garden if you like eating outside. Shortly after we started eating, the waitress came over and asked if we liked our food. I last experienced that... years ago. The service was overall super friendly and (even though I changed my mind several times) very patient. I'll definitely be back here... ;-) Thanks!

So, today I discovered a new world at Pan's Bebop: Umami Kitchen. IT'S DELICIOUS!!! Anyone who hasn't tried Urs Umami Kitchen yet: go! So incredibly good!!! The best burgers! Very tasty!! You won't find them anywhere else! Great service. We'll be back!

Cool place with an incredible number of vegan options

Simply good 😀 Very nice ambiance, really like a cozy living room. The service is very good and very friendly. We were there with our dog, and before we even sat down, the waitress brought a bowl of water for the dog 🐶. Very attentive without being intrusive. We were there for breakfast, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely worth a recommendation and, in our opinion, 5 stars.

Everything was perfect. Great food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. We were really impressed, and I highly recommend the smash burger. For vegetarians and vegans, there's a suitable version of almost every dish on the menu.

I was there yesterday with my companion and was more than thrilled! Not only does the burger taste so good that you would love to eat 5 pieces of it, the team and service are also absolutely top class: nice, polite, accommodating! The furnishings and ambience are absolutely great and invite you to stay for a long time. Regional cuisine with a conscience without wanting to appear exalted. Fresh drinks, which were created with brains and heart, paired with fresh and high-quality food lead to the following conclusion: This won't be the last time!

I became aware of Bebop through the reviews and my own research - in short, I asked for a table and got into the action with the family. In short - we were all more than thrilled!! Ambience, staff and last but not least the more than excellent food was awesome!!!! Quality, freshness and above all the variability in the dishes - there is something for everyone here We can only recommend everyone to take some time out here and eat really well. We will come again!

Very nice, rustic restaurant with comfortable chairs. Burgers are very tasty but the baguettes are also very tasty. Sauces are good too. Except the regular mayo is somewhat neutral. The others are very tasty. I'd love to come by again when I'm nearby.

We ordered 4 smashburgers and had them delivered. Unfortunately, the burgers were not as good as expected in terms of craftsmanship and taste. The homemade cucumbers were a small bright spot, with a harmonious acidity and sweetness. The bun was also fluffy and tasted okay. Both sides were mostly well toasted, so the consistency was still optimal after a long delivery. The sauces used tasted rather run-of-the-mill and didn't enhance the burger. Unfortunately, the meat was neither convincing in terms of taste nor consistency. Unfortunately, the meat was cooked for too long and at too low a temperature. (See PHOTO) Unfortunately, the nice roasted flavors you expect from a smashburger were not present on either side of the patty. Unfortunately, the consistency was reminiscent of a dry, salty meatball. I suspect that the fresh minced meat is pre-seasoned and portioned in the morning to speed things up in the kitchen. This would explain the changed protein structure and the predominantly uniform salty taste in each patty. That's a real shame because we had good memories of a local visit. Your chicken burger was amazing. The rating of the food only refers to the smashburgers delivered!

We initially sat in another restaurant, but for hygiene reasons we spontaneously decided to leave and go to Bebop instead... a great decision! We immediately felt at home here. The atmosphere and style of the restaurant was wonderfully cozy, the service was exceptionally friendly, and the food was simply a delight. At first I hadn't even read the note about ecological responsibility, regional sourcing and the avoidance of additives. But before I even knew about it, I said to my wife: “This tastes really authentic, without any artificial additives!” And indeed – it was not only natural, but also incredibly tasty. Thank you! P.S.: This is exactly what a Smashburger patty should look like. Simply TOP!

Super cute shop, delicious food and always great promotional cards. My girlfriend and I go there regularly when we are in Essen. The vegan selection is really good.

Here you can sit together with other people and forget about time. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. You can also eat vegan or vegetarian food here. In terms of prices, it's not exactly cheap, but it's affordable from time to time. We also recommend the breakfast menu on weekends, until 3 p.m. I think.

Very unusual location with a lot of passion and a bit of “Ommma”. Outstandingly friendly and dedicated staff behind the counter and at the table. Food really tasty. Reasonable and fair prices. People would love to come back.
