We were there spontaneously yesterday because we were stuck in a traffic jam, hungry and saw it by chance. The burgers look really good and taste really delicious. The colleague in the car is very friendly and does a great job. We would be happy to come back when we are nearby.

Incredibly delicious burger! Never had such a good burger where you knew it was freshly prepared and hygiene was taken into account. The food truck employees are super friendly and super polite. Highly recommend you go there, have a burger and enjoy the scenery! An 11/10!!!!

Delicious burgers with tasty homemade sauce

I came across the Burger Schmiede by chance today and treated myself to lunch here and I can already say that it won't be my last visit. You can tell that passion goes into working on the grill here. The cheeseburger was juicy, with really good braised onions as a topping and of course with lettuce, tomato and a good sauce in a fluffy bun, with pickles for better grip But the fries alone are enough! No convenience industry rubbish, but homemade for the best taste. I love that! The selection of sauces and toppings is decent here. After my portion I'm now really full and I paid a fair price. Well deserved 5 stars! 👍

We were there about 3 weeks ago and the food was very good! The burgers were super tasty (Smash and Double Smash) and I also really liked the homemade fries. Very nice staff! There is no service in the same way as in the restaurant because it is a stand where you get the food. The ambience is not like in a restaurant, but there is a tent set up with tables and benches, bar tables so there are enough options to eat on site.

So the staff was very, very friendly, the food was great for us. The price was great

Unrestricted recommendation. The burgers are awesome. The Bacon Jam Burger in particular is incredibly delicious. The fries are very tasty and you get a very large portion that would easily be enough for 2. The burger prices are more than fair. Super nice employees. The burger and fries were still super tasty and the fries were crispy even after a 10-minute drive home. I have nothing to complain about. If you value a nice ambience in a nice restaurant, you're obviously in the wrong place here. But that should be clear to you, just from the name “food truck”.

A young food truck company... Very nice and friendly, courteous and helpful staff, happy to advise you.. Very good burgers, fresh ingredients and a lot of things homemade.. The home-made fries are also really good. But everything else is also recommended... For consumption on site, take away or delivery, as you wish. When the weather is nice, eating on site is a pleasant change. It's best to go there and try it out yourself...

A parking lot made of gravel is not that great. But the burgers from “Burgerschmiede” are very tasty. The buns...TOP and of course homemade. The meat, tasty and juicy. Carved the tits myself and refined them with a very good mayonaise (two types). Taste very good. All in all, a successful start to the weekend.

There has been a lack of a burger joint like this in the area! Clear recommendation! All the ingredients are super fresh and the meat is fresh from the area!

This afternoon we visited this location for the first time by bike. Delicious burgers & fries, very friendly and personable crew. The atmosphere in the parking lot is a bit better ;-) But that's coming soon :-)

Because of the many positive reviews, I paid the store a visit. I wasn't disappointed, I've been there several times now and for me the burgers are among the best in Essen. Particularly noteworthy is the Double Smash Burger. That was the tastiest thing I've ever eaten so far. The same goes for the Crispy Chicken Burger. The juiciest chicken burger I've tasted so far. The rest fits too. Friendly employees who are passionate about what they do and who understand the subject matter, great fries and homemade sauces and the prices are also very humane. It's "just" a food truck with a tent set up next to it, but affordable products that are prepared with love and expertise and are rightly at the top. I much prefer that to a fancy shop with loud music/ambience where a burger costs just under 15 per person

We came to Burgerschmiede based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The menu is very clear, as so often I relied on the house's recommendation. The service was excellent and entertaining. I got the Bacon Jam Burger, it was very juicy, perfectly smashed and well seasoned! The burgers are good to eat with your hands. Fries were crispy, spicy and with plenty of sauce. Here the crispy chicken tasted outstanding. Ambiente is a food truck with a party tent near an allotment garden. Toilets and free parking spaces are available. I would love to come back and recommend Burgerschmiede to others.

I had an Air BnB near here and thought I wouldn't be able to find anything to eat in the area after a tiring day at the trade fair. But then I discovered this jewel like a mirage in the Sahara. I've just been there for the first time. The two employees in the food truck were very nice. Unfortunately, the truck is a little off the road and is therefore not immediately recognizable. It's in a parking lot that's a little lower than the street. To eat: The chili cheese fries were really great. The normal fries with a chili lime mayo were also great. We were definitely not here for the last time. I'm really excited about the burgers and hot dogs.

The best burgers in town 🤩 We've been there three times now and every time it tasted delicious. Finally high-quality burgers where you can taste the quality and freshness of the meat with every bite. The sauces and the homemade fries are simply in a class of their own and are a pleasure every time. Super likeable and friendly team and in my opinion the price-performance ratio is even too cheap for this quality and taste. We always enjoy coming back 👍🏼

So first of all I have to say that I'm not a fan of "food trucks" per se, but I still like that certain touch. The Burgerschmiede was recommended to me by acquaintances and - said and done - I was allowed to visit with the family. We were warmly welcomed and welcomed. We thought that the gloomy weather would thwart our plans (with children), BUT I didn't expect the staff to come up with an interim solution. For this reason we would like to give huge praise to the Burgerschmiede team! Despite my very high standards, the food was surprisingly really, really good. The fries were really crispy, the smash burgers were on point and even the hot dog was excellent. I can warmly recommend it to everyone. I will try to host summer events there in the future because it is one of the few food trucks that really offers top service and food. Please remain as warm as you are, even when things get stressful or people are sometimes rude. LG Your new regular customer

I ate at Burgerschmiede for the first time today. I had a double smashburger and the homemade fries. The ambience has its own charm. The burgers taste incredibly good and these were probably the best fries I've ever had at a burger joint. The staff was very friendly and personable. Absolutely fair price. This certainly wasn't my last visit and I'm looking forward to seeing Burgerschmiede continue to grow.

Unfassbar cooler Foodtruck,die Jungs sind nicht nur mega sympathisch,sondern zaubern auch einfach mega leckeres Essen!Hier isst selbst mein Sohn Burger,obwohl er die eigentlich garnicht mag😂 Die Burger sind aufjedenfall eine 10/10, süßkartoffelpomnes mega crunchy und einfach lecker. Ich freu mich schon auf den Sommer,dann essen wir auch mal vor Ort. Also ganz klare Empfehlung meinerseits,wer leckere Burger möchte,hier ist die beste Anlaufstelle!!! Für Cheese-Burger und Süßkartoffel-Pommes 14,70€ bezahlt, was fast restaurantpreisig ist. War in Ordnung. Habe noch nie so knusprige und leckere Süßkartoffel-Pommes gegessen wie hier. Burger sind sorgfältig und liebevoll gemacht und verpackt. Leider ist das Ambiente im verregneten Sommer nicht so gemütlich. Kann mir aber vorstellen, dass man hier gut hinspazieren oder bei Fahrradtour haltmachen kann.

Hatten heute den Champ- und den Veggie Burger. Beide waren super lecker, würzig und einfach auf den Punkt. Dazu erstmals die tollen Bruschetta-Fritten. Knaller. Beide Bedienungen super freundlich. Gerne wieder!

Einfach nur zu empfehlen! Super frisch super lecker und mega nette Leute. Man fühlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben es gibt eine umfangreiche Speisekarte wo wirklich für jeden etwas dabei ist. Es geht schnell und ist super frisch zubereitet vor den Augen von einem selbst. Super nettes Personal, unserem Hund wurde direkt was zu trinken hinter hingestellt. preis-Leistung ist auch allererste Sahne. Gut zu erreichen viele Parkmöglichkeiten und direkt an der Autobahn immer wieder gerne!!! Wir werden jetzt FETT mit obersten Genuss.

Überraschend gut. Wir haben Sonntagabend über Lieferando bestellt. Es hat etwas lange gedauert aber wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Burger schmecken sehr gut und das Fleisch ist gesmashed. Die selbstgemachten Pommes schmecken auch super. VOLL GUT: Sie Pommes waren noch warm und knusprig trotz Lieferung! Wenig Verpackung! Super!

My wife and I are just in town for a few hours and decided to try this spot out. We are so happy that we did. Solomon and his team are awesome. It started to rain really hard while we were waiting for our food and he told us to come inside (storage area) just to stay dry and enjoy our dinner. It was above and beyond service. Not only that. The smash burgers were outstanding. Absolutely delicious and top notch quality. The fries were fresh and tasty also. On my way out, Solomon gave me an espresso before traveling out in the rain again. Very thoughtful and genuinely nice people here. Anyone who gave this establishment less than 5 stars is untrustworthy. Highly recommend!

Geschmacklich gut die größe war leider etwas klein.

Leckere Burger, knusprige Süßkartoffelpommes und nette Mitarbeiter. Grade in der Umgebung gibt's da nicht viel Auswahl, vor allem wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist und mal eben Hunger hat. Auch Lieferung ist möglich. Ambiente ist okay, ein paar mehr Tische wären gut und vielleicht ein etwas gepflegterer Hof, aber muss man auch nicht erwarten bei einem Foodtruck. Dafür gibt's Musik und viele Parkplätze 👌🏽

Heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und beschlossen nun öfter zu kommen! :) Service ist 1a, Preise im normalen Bereich und das Essen wirklich top. Patties werden von Hand geformt, das Essen wird nett angerichtet und die Portionsgröße ist mehr als ausreichend. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Ambiente. So eine große Nutzfläche sollte auf jeden Fall genutzt werden :) Schade finde ich auch, dass es beim Vorbeifahren so unscheinbar ist, da es von der Hauptstraße aus bergab in einer Seitenstraße liegt. Es sollten viel mehr Leute dort das leckere Essen probieren :)

Haben dort vorhin zwei Burger und Süßkartoffelfritten geholt. Die beiden Herren waren sehr nett, die Burger super lecker, die Pommes ebenso! Alles wurde frisch zubereitet und war für den Preis von Größe und Qualität her wirklich angemessen. Ich habe außerdem lange nicht mehr so gute Süßkartoffelpommes gegessen. Absolute Empfehlung und Bereicherung des Stadtteils!

Wir bestellen nur noch bei der Burgerschmiede !<3 Wer auf richtig gutes Fleisch mit Qualität und Geschmack steht, kommt hier voll und ganz auf seine Kosten. Ich probiere mich aktuell noch durch das Menü und die Burger. Gibt nichts zu meckern ! Der Service ist zudem auch noch eine 5/5. Super sympathische Menschen, die Spaß an dem ganzen haben. Alles in einem ist der Laden wirklich Klasse und nur zu empfehlen 👍

Ich habe dort einen sehr leckeren Chili Cheeseburger gegessen. Dazu gab es hausgemachte Pommes. Sehr freundlicher Service und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Sehr teuer in meinen Augen. Burger war ziemlich fettig und der Bacon zäh. Hähnchenstreifen auf den Pommes aus der TK. Service war nett. Sollte jeder für sich ausprobieren, ich werde nicht nochmal hingehen.

Sehr versteckt in einer Senke an einer Hauptverkehrsachse. Daher etwas laut und der Schotterplatz mit seinen Partybänken lädt auch nicht gerade ein. Aber das Essen war absolut Top.

Sehr leckerer Burger , der Burger Bun sehr fluffig. Das Fleisch war auch sehr lecker. Nettes Personal , die Pommes waren nicht so lecker vielleicht sollte man daran nochmal arbeiten. Für einen Foodtruck viele Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Burger, Pommes bis zu den Hänchenstreifen schmecken alle ausgezeichnet. Der kleine Truck wird von zwei unfassbar freundlichen Leuten betrieben und wenn es einen interessiert verraten sie einem sogar woher deren Zutaten kommen. Preisleistung stimmt hier absolut und besonders die Pommes lege ich jedem ans Herz. Die Burger sind auch unfassbar gut. Hab zwar erst zwei von den Vielen probiert aber die haben mich schon überzeugt. Großes Lob an deine Kochkünste Leroy! :)
