Pamukkale Köz Schanze in Hamburg

The food here is really tasty and healthy, and most of the staff is very friendly. However, we had a less good experience with the lady who prepared the börek with cheese and spinach. She was on the phone during preparation, didn't respond to any requests and unfortunately reacted a bit unfriendly. We also had to wait outside for over 30 minutes to get a table. We were repeatedly assured that “a table would be available soon,” which motivated us to stay, but without that assurance we probably would have left sooner. The prices were okay, but the taste of the tea didn't impress us.

1. Service unprofessional, the waitress kept playing with her cell phone in front of the customers! 2. The food is just bad!

None of the employees speak German, except for one person. When I didn't give a tip, the waitress gave me a look and didn't respond to my farewell.

This place really exceeded my expectations! The menu is full of unique dishes and every dish I tried was cooked to perfection. The dessert was exceptional – unlike anything I’ve tasted before. I can't wait to come back and enjoy more soon.

It should be a nice evening. But !!! You had to run after the staff to take your order. Card payment is apparently not possible that evening. The entertainment receipt was supposed to be issued, but this was not done even when requested by email. False oral invoice. Wrong money return!!! Dürum to take away almost 9€. Unfortunately the dough was still soggy. Meat, sauce, salad, nothing special either. I wasn't asked what type of meat I wanted. Overall average with one point deducted for the price. Too bad. To take with you, it's better to go somewhere else.

Threatened, insulted, withdrawn! 4 vouchers for €14.90 each were left with the cost because they changed the prices for brunch! Although I wanted to pay the extra charge, Bülent abi said it was no problem. Waiter Ali/Alex didn't quite understand them, very disrespectful! I just want my money back or new vouchers! And now I have to pay another €40 on top, which is simply not right for a brunch during the week! I have now reported this and reported it to the consumer advice center, the owner Ugur Y. and the staff are very aggressive and misogynistic! The owner said back then that they couldn't expire, today on the phone where he simply hung up, they had expired, there was no time for something like that, he hung up and when I called again, his very disrespectful waiter was on it again :( I'd rather go to Lokmam opposite, where the food is too Something like that doesn't happen :( I also report it to the tax office customs, because they enrich themselves here without providing services and they don't want us as customers there :( but then you have to give back the money you paid, why should I pay another €40 I just want to exchange the vouchers for current brunch this week and give them away. Beware of fraud and threat from the entire team!

I actually love your shop!....but apparently there is a limited time window (2 hours) for your breakfast buffet recently. You must please communicate this with your guests in advance!! be it on your website or when making a reservation! We would then have chosen another location to meet. but this is extremely unsatisfactory and annoying! So the only thing left for us is to choose another location with 8-10 people who come back again and again. VERY Pity! and please be friendlier to your guests....unfortunately that has fallen by the wayside!! That was my review 1 year ago....(not for the first time there and not for the last time either! great restaurant, delicious buffet, great service and ambience...always a bit like a vacation! I'll be happy to come back again and again!)

Worst Dürüm kebab chicken I've eaten in a long time: sticky, watery taste, zero spices and small hard pieces in the meat. Half of it went in the trash :-( The star is given for the friendly welcome.

I've been going to this place since it was a 3x4 meter standing room restaurant... now, it's a beautiful restaurant with lots of tables. One of the best Turkish food in Hamburg. My reference. The worst thing is parking on the street because there is no space, especially on the weekend.

A very good Turkish restaurant with everything you know from Turkish cuisine. The starters are super delicious and the grill plate is a dream. The portions are really big and fill you up. The service is very friendly, open-minded and accommodating. If I come to Hamburg again, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting again. Many thanks to your kitchen and the great team.

At first I didn't really want to. It was still early and the restaurant was still empty, unlike the restaurant across the street. Still, we went in and it was the best decision we'd made in a long time. The menu was a challenge but with the help of the serving waiter we found exactly what we were hungry for. The waiter also helped us save money because he once recommended that we choose what we wanted for lunch, as it happened to be similar there. Everything came quickly and apparently freshly prepared. Since my eyes were bigger than my stomach and there was a lot left over, I was offered a doggy bag without asking. That was well received by me! At the end you get a tea on the house. I almost forgot that we also had salad and bread before dinner. Savings are actually made everywhere. We found ourselves well looked after in every respect. And that too for a more than reasonable price. It was our first time there, and it was actually more of a coincidence, but next time I will stop there on purpose. But then in the evening I'm more hungry.

Almost perfect kebab! Clear recommendation. In my opinion the best kebab in the Schanzenviertel.

First of all: kebab is only available to take away. But that's understandable given the atmosphere. We had the grill plate for 2 people and I have to say it was the best grill plate I've ever had. Really, really tasty, the only problem is the space on the table, far too small for what is served to you... This makes it all very squashed and tight... And the effect is a bit oppressive if you have problems with it Things to come or don't know where to put them. Well, a little more choice of sauces would have been cool, but that's 5 stars for me because the meat was just extremely good!

We loved Pamukkale. Both my kids loved the food (we did, too!), and the staff were super kind. We ordered mixed grill for 2 people and doner porsiyon. Adana, chicken sis and doner were specially my favourite.

It somehow looks better than it actually is. The atmosphere is very cozy, the waiters were very nice and quick. But the fourth and fifth stars were simply missing when it came to food. Maybe because it's vegetarian and the focus here is obviously on meat (which looks really great!).

The food is excellent. The ambience is also good. The waiters are one of the worst I have ever met. Normally I don't like to write bad reviews but I have to mention this. We were there and ate normally. Afterwards the waiter came and I gave a tip of 1 euro. This didn't sit well with him and he left without saying anything. No thanks, no goodbyes. Nobody has to tip. I felt bad afterwards, like I was in his debt. That doesn't work!!!

First time in Pamukkale and immediately attended the Sunday brunch. There is plenty of choice to suit every taste. In any case, I was able to try many Turkish delicacies and determine whether they appealed to my taste. Unfortunately the scrambled eggs were too runny for me. Overall, I can recommend this restaurant 100 percent. The atmosphere is very nice and the waiters are very friendly and attentive.

We ate here for the third time today, the previous times everything was fine, today it was exactly the same until I got home and was wondering what I actually spent €95 on. Then I calculated it myself what we had and just It came to €71.50, so something like that shouldn't happen and it's a real shame that you lose your money like that even though the food is always tasty and I like to leave a tip. It was the last thing just.

I thought that this place was decent. The meats are flavourful. I wasn’t too big on the starters, except for the sheep cheese which was excellent. The bread is very tasty. The pide was a bit dry and didn’t have enough salt imo.

The worst Turkish restaurant I've been to in Germany for 4 years. The waiter spilled the oil from the salad on my white trousers while collecting the service, and did not even apologize, saying that I did not spill it. On top of that, I paid 10 euros for two glasses of tea. I came across a waiter who was both rude and not doing his job properly. When he brought the bill, we couldn't even see what it cost and how much it cost. He entered the fee directly into the POS device and brought it to us. It's an extremely rude place, not decent at all.

Great Turkish restaurant with a wide selection of typical dishes, all prepared to a really great quality. The service is very friendly and super accommodating. The price-performance ratio is also right here. So if you're looking for a nice, relaxed restaurant on the Schanze, you've come to the right place.

I am very disappointed. I have been there many times and noticed that the bill for what we had eaten was wrong. The waiter says "oh didn't you order that" as if he didn't know (and that wasn't just once).

Yesterday we were in the restaurant with 4 women. The food was generally very tasty, but unfortunately three of the four meals were only lukewarm. The prices, however, are very high. We found it a shame that our starter was completely forgotten, but of course it was brought to the table later when asked. Up to this point we didn't really have much to complain about, apart from the cold/lukewarm food. We had reserved the table from 7-9 p.m. From 8:30 p.m. onwards we were constantly besieged, then we paid and gave good tips and shortly afterwards we were very cheekily asked to leave, although I hadn't even finished drinking my wine. (We were also suddenly asked in Russian what nationality we were, as if we didn't understand that we SHOULD go). That's not how you treat your customers, it was very disrespectful and just left a bad taste in our mouths. It's a real shame, there's a lot of potential for improvement. We have reserved and I also expect that I can use the table for the specified time and that no customers will be given advance notice without a reservation.

We were spontaneously in Hamburg on a Friday lunchtime and then ended up here. We were assigned a table without any problems. Where should I start? We were here as a couple with our 1.9 year old son. Service was very friendly and attentive, we were even given half a glass of warm water with the apple juice for our son so that we could mix it if the juice was too cold. I've never experienced anything like this anywhere before. Just really nice service. Ambiance was very cozy. The food was also really great, we are two good eaters and ordered a grill plate for two people, the portion was more than enough, there was even some of the rice and bulgur left over. We also found the price-performance ratio to be ok. If we were there again, we would come back here. Since tastes are different, you can only speak for yourself and we were very happy with everything.

I went there for breakfast with my husband today and they didn't have much of a selection for breakfast. Instead of the waiters clearing away the empty plates, they just stand there on their cell phones and watch you eat. In addition, the O-juice was charged separately when paying. For two glasses of O-juice the cost was eleven euros. We mentioned this when paying, but the excuse was that it was supposedly like that everywhere, which is no excuse. I am very disappointed with such a 'restaurant'. In my opinion two stars if that!!!

Very tasty breakfast (or brunch) on Sundays, great atmosphere.

Unfortunately we were assigned a very bad table, directly in front of the drinks counter and pasta was being made at the back, it was quite dark and loud, we had reserved a table. The buffet was good, lots of choice, but still water was not included in the price. Price-performance ratio is a bit too high, we paid €114 for 5 people. We could have been accommodated for the bad location. We met there for a birthday dinner.

We were very satisfied. Despite the store being full, we were always served quickly and the waiter was super friendly (which is very important these days). The next day we had breakfast there, the food was very tasty. When we are back in Hamburg we will definitely come back again. We recommend the restaurant.

We were there yesterday in a larger group and chose breakfast brunch. Costs 22.90 It was ok - but don't have to do it again. The buffet has many Turkish dishes, warm, cold, sweet. Unfortunately, the dishes were not signposted, so there was no sign on the dishes. In my opinion, this leads to useless food consumption, because if I had read that the puff pastry had cheese in it, I wouldn't have had to throw it away. What I also found to be a shame was that some guests left their seats like a mess. The shop was busy, meaning the table looked like this for some time. Service was nice.

The food was great again. But what happened to us here this time is truly unbelievable. We had dinner here on Thursday afternoon, August 29, 24, around 5:00 p.m. Our daughter was intercepted and harassed by our waiter on the way back from the toilet. …. They pass by us, they don't turn their heads, they don't even look at us, we try to order, they can't come to the table... One of the best Turkish restaurants in Hamburg! We often eat at Pamukkale's ski jump. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance, as there is often a queue in front of the restaurant. As always, the food was excellent! First of all there were various dips such as yoghurt or Ezme as well as fresh warm bread and a tomato and cucumber salad. For the main course we shared Beyti with chicken! You definitely have to try this dish here. The service is always very quick, attentive and friendly. And don't forget that the store is always full! We always like to come back and try the Turkish dishes on the menu!

That was really delicious. Were there for breakfast. Such great fresh ingredients and a wide selection. Very attentive and friendly staff. You just have to feel comfortable there.
