I wasn't in the hotel, just the restaurant. A very large selection of tarte flambée...very tasty. Sitting here with friends, chatting, and enjoying food and wine is highly recommended.

We were here on September 25, 2025. A very cozy restaurant. The food was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. If we ever come back to Dresden, we will definitely go here again.

We're still sitting here in this beautiful restaurant and had a fantastic meal. Here, guests are still served individually. The staff is very empathetic and polite, with a touch of cheekiness. The kind of service, the delicious food, and the value for money are something you don't often find these days. We've already made reservations for more evenings and will become repeat customers. Federweißer is available again, also in red, from the Palatinate winery. It's not to be missed. Along with tarte flambée in many variations. Highly recommended!

You have to visit this place! The location right on the Elbe River, the finest wines with something for everyone, and the food, both regional and from the Palatinate region. We were absolutely blown away by the decor and the terrace. We'll be back.

Mama's Pälzer Stubb on Leipziger Straße is a real insider tip – perfectly located right on the Elbe River. The rustic and cozy ambiance immediately invites you to feel at home, ideal for a relaxing evening for two. The team is warm and attentive, and you can tell they work with passion. The tarte flambée is, of course, a must – crispy, richly topped, and simply delicious. There's also a very good wine selection, where you can browse between classics and exciting discoveries. Whether for a romantic dinner or simply for an enjoyable evening – everything is perfect here.

As a former employee, I can only agree with the former chef who spoke here about missing wages. With a 40-hour contract, I was charged 180 hours a month. Furthermore, the menu sold Argentinian rump steak, but the cheapest meat was purchased from Nigeria. This was only changed after I informed the menu. I'm correcting my previous review because the owner is threatening me with legal action even though he still owes me money. The meat wasn't from Nigeria; I was mistaken; the meat sold as Argentinian rump steak came from Namibia. Strangely, the menu no longer mentions anything Argentinian, which frequent visitors will surely notice.

Great selection of dishes (and delicious, of course). Cool events (Beer Wednesday). Fun, attentive, and competent service that truly puts its heart into the job. Beautiful location right on the Elbe. SUPER SATISFIED. WILL BE HAPPY TO COME AGAIN.

It's rare to find such a cozy restaurant located directly on the Elbe River. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff is excellent. I'm so in love with this beautiful ambiance. The lovely Conni has turned it into a gem on the Elbe. We'd love to come back. 🫶

Three of us were there on a Tuesday evening. We had wonderful outdoor seating. The tarte flambée is fantastic; they offer many different varieties. I had pear with goat cheese, which was incredibly delicious. The waitress was probably the friendliest and most accommodating person I've ever met in this industry (with bright red short hair). The lady was simply fantastic. In short, absolutely recommended! 👍🏼

We received a very friendly welcome, received excellent advice, and were served, and enjoyed a delicious meal. The manager was more uncomfortable than we were that we had to wait a little longer than usual for our food. It was totally fine for us... PS: The lukewarm, sweet greeting from the kitchen... was a dream. At the end of the evening, we had a nice chat with the manager, and we're certain we'll be back!

The owner is a thief and is just pre-cooking. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. He owes the staff money and can't behave.

Ein wunderschönes und gemütliches Lokal um gepflegte Getränke und Speisen zu genießen. Ein großer eiserner Deckenleuchter mit echten Kerzen setzt dem Ganzen das "i" Pünktchen auf. Selbst der Außenbereich mit Stehtischen und Terrassenstrahlern läst keine Wünsche offen. Das Besondere in diesem Lokal ist das Weinangebot mit sehr schmackhaften Flammkuchen verschiedenster Art. Aber auch Vorspeisen, Portionen für den kleinen Hunger, eine Kinderkarte und und und, lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal ist stets aufmerksam und unheimlich freundlich. Da fühlt man sich sehr geborgen. Kein Wunder bei der jahrelangen Erfahrung im Irodion. Ob als Paar oder für Familienfeiern, es lohnt sich. An den Wochenenden wird eine Reservierung empfohlen. Wir kommen jedenfalls noch oft wieder.

I spontaneously came here with my boyfriend (we're not from Dresden) and found it perfect! The food was top-notch, the servers were super friendly, and I liked how well-stocked the women's restroom was (tampons and panty liners in two sizes, moist toilet paper, and clean and well-maintained). The atmosphere is also cozy, and the tables aren't too close together, so you're not sitting on your neighbor's lap. All in all, it's really great, and we'd love to come back!

We've been coming to Mama's regularly for a year - tried it once and immediately fell in love. Our daughter, who was 8 months old at the time, was taken straight to our hearts and is now growing up with the incredibly warm owner and her wonderful team and is fully part of it. You will always receive a friendly welcome, special requests - especially for the gourmet child - are no problem and all dishes are always freshly prepared and highly recommended. It's been a long time since I've had such good fried potatoes in a restaurant that have never seen the inside of a deep fryer. Mama's Pfälzer Stubb is an absolute recommendation with a great ambience, delicious food and the best team! We keep coming back.

Discovered by chance yesterday. I thought the store was empty. After entering, the actual guest room was discovered at the back. Since it was very busy, we were allowed to sit at the counter. A very friendly woman (boss) welcomed us. Very friendly male service staff looked after us very well the whole time. Food was absolutely fine and the selection was large. So we'll see each other again. The restaurant actually closes at 10 p.m. We asked for a glass of wine at 10:15pm and what time they close. We would have done without, but again the reaction was that I would bring two more glasses and clean up in the process.

We were there for the first time today and I have to say it was just PERFECT. From the ambience to the food and service. And very animal-friendly, our 2 four-legged friends also felt comfortable. It was just nice, you feel comfortable, the food is very tasty and the team is very friendly. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Yesterday I met a friend in the Stubb. It was our first visit. Otherwise we went for a beer next door at the W. I am very happy with our decision. We enjoyed a lovely evening in a cozy atmosphere. The Saxon potato soup was one of the best I've eaten recently. The service was also very praiseworthy. I look forward to further visits.

My dad lives in Dresden and loves to stop by here for a good glass of red wine. When I'm visiting from Munich we always go out for a delicious meal here and enjoy a glass or two together. Very rustic restaurant with a cozy beer garden covered in wine right on the banks of the Elbe. We arrived very hungry with half a half to go. Of course, the kitchen was actually already closed, but the chef still offered to make us a quick soup. I was able to try the best pumpkin soup of my life here. The wine was well selected by the waiter and the bread presented tasted fresh and was warm. Really great service, highly recommended!!!

Unfortunately, the light in the restaurant is quite dark, which seems very romantic, but table lighting is desirable because: the eye eats with it. What does the appearance of food influence us, whether we like something and feel like eating it? It will definitely become a favorite restaurant.

Since the change of operator, the new “Pälzer Stubb” seems to be developing into a real insider tip in Pieschen. Conny and her team live gastronomy with all their heart and you can feel it: delicious food, great service and therefore always well filled. Nevertheless, there is no rush - so it is now a pure oasis of well-being. Just great, keep it up!

Do you actually like eating tarte flambée, but it never fills you up? The problem is a thing of the past, because the solution is there and is called Mama's Pälzer Stubb! With the most friendly service and in a cozy atmosphere, you can order one "full of tarte flambée" for €22 and then get as many oven-fresh tarte flambée as you want, from the fiery pizza tarte flambée to the classics to your individual choice of toppings or sweet dessert variant with cinnamon and apple. And that until you can't do it anymore. The moment will come. And you'll hate it because you'll want to try more varieties. However, you only get a bad conscience from the boss, who smiles at you because you (probably) didn't beat the record. In addition, you get affordable wine in a 0.5 liter jug, a pleasant chat with “Mama”, a culinary trip to the Palatinate with a view of the Dresden Elbe, but in any case just a really good time that needs to be repeated. (Of course you can also just order a tarte flambée, but let's not kid ourselves, that's not the requirement, so in that sense, go for it)

We stopped there by chance. And what can I say, coincidence would have it that way. Very good restaurant. The operator, Conny, welcomed us so warmly that we couldn't help but feel comfortable. She has only taken over it since October 2023 and she radiates so much warmth and we felt the passion for this restaurant. The tarte flambée with asparagus was fantastic. I haven't had such a delicious tarte flambée in a long time. A restaurant for us to recommend. Price/performance is right here and the friendliness is included. Dogs are also very welcome. We are here for a few more days and will definitely make a second visit. Keep it up.

Today I was there again after some time and was surprised that there are new operators. And they do everything right. Food great, wine great, service great! When the boss found out that it was my birthday, there was a fire fountain with cake on top! Unlike before, the new Mama Pfälzer was full to capacity in the evening and became a “secret” tip! Keep it up!

Wir sind sehr zufrieden, aber auch ein wenig überrascht, da es ja bei unserem bis dahin letztem Besuch nicht so aussah, das in den nä. Zeit der Besitzer wechelt, j3den falls für mich. Ich habe dort noch vor 5 J. meinen 50. Geburtstag gefeiert, Na wer weis, vielleicht feiere ich meinen 55. auch dort und mein Mann seinen 60.? Mal sehen. Wir freuen uns auf jeden fall, das dort kein 08 /15 Rastaurant wie zb. 1 Pizzeria od ähnliches eröffnet. Die Sanitären Anlagen haben sich ebenfalls zum positiven verändert. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch, wenn wir bei schönem Wetter draußen unseren Wein und etwas zum Essen genießen können.

Easy to miss but beautifully located, directly on the Elbe with a view of Dresden. We ate delicious tarte flambée (the large portion is very filling) and drank a glass of wonderful wine. Friendly and courteous service completes the picture. We were definitely not your guests for the last time!

Eine gute Adresse in Dresden für einen gemütlichen Abend mit Flammkuchen & Wein in der kalten Winterzeit. Auch für kleine Gruppen und Familien geeignet, der XXL-Flammkuchen ist leicht zu teilen :). Deutsche Küche und Pfälzer Weine, es gibt auch Gerichte für Vegetarier und Kinder. Im Sommer kann man ein kühles Bier oder ein Glas Riesling im schattigen Biergarten genießen. Die Stubb liegt direkt am Elberadweg und ist bei Radfahrern sehr beliebt.

It's really cozy here and there's a good selection of hearty dishes and various tarte flambées. I decided on the garlic tarte flambée and didn't regret it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A tram stop is right outside the door. I'd love to come back.

We actually wanted to eat there, after we made a reservation and realized it was the wrong date, my wife really dared to call there again. She wasn't just insulted on the phone because she called for the second time in 30 minutes, no, she was called stupid for it. Then it turned out that it was the boss herself 🤦‍♂️😡 We don't need anything like that, we'll immediately lose our appetite. Apparently she hasn't yet understood that satisfied customers keep the business alive. It's a shame actually

Also ich war lange nicht mehr an einem Ort gewesen, an dem man so gute deutsche Hausmannskost bekommt. Die Chefin Connie und das Personal ist sehr Charmant und zuvorkommend, das Essen ein absoluter Gaumenschmauß, das Ambiente schön urig und es gibt eine großartige Auswahl an super leckeren Weinen! Wir werden wohl in Zukunft mit den Jungs unseren Stammtisch in dieses hervorragende Lokal verlegen! Absolute Empfehlung.

Super süßes Lokal mit herzlicher Bedienung. Vielleicht für manche nicht relevant, aber eine vielfältige Auswahl an Damen-Hygieneartikeln im Bad - Lieben wir! Glühwein hätte minimal heißer sein können, aber da meckert man auf hohem Niveau. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort & kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen und die Getränke waren hervorragend. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Klare Empfehlung.

Für ein überfälliges Treffen wurde die Pälzer Stub ausgewählt. Nach einigen durchwachsenen Bewertungen war ich leicht skeptisch. Zu Unrecht! Zu Beginn der Öffnungszeit wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und nahmen draußen Platz, obwohl es schon etwas frisch war... Dann wurden wir hervorragend umsichtig und freundlich bewirtet, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Es gab sehr leckere Speisen (Flammkuchen, Saumagen und Harzer mit Musik...) und sehr gepflegte Getränke zu moderaten Preisen mit prima Beratung. Wir wünschen der neuen Mannschaft von Herzen jeden verdienten Erfolg und werden ganz bestimmt bald wieder einschlagen!

Am heutigen Abend waren wir mit Freunden zum Abendessen hier, wir hatten unterschiedliche Speisen (Schweinebäckchen, Gulasch mit Knödel u. a.). Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut und wir sind mehr als satt geworden - großes Lob an den Koch 😋🥰 Unsere Getränke waren ebenso abwechslungsreich von Bier über eine heiße Birne bis zum Weiß- & Rotwein, auch hier alle sehr "süffig" 🍷🍺 Die Gaststätte war sehr gemütlich, urig eingerichtet, ein großer Kerzenleuchter mit echten Kerzen macht immer eine schöne Atmosphäre 🕯🕯🕯 Sehr herzliche und willkommene Begrüßung und Bewirtung der Gastgeberin. Wie in den vorherigen Rezensionen bereits erwähnt, hat die Pälzer Stubb seit 1.10.2023 eine neue Betreiberin. Was soll ich sagen: wir sind hier seit kurzem Stammgäste. Herzlicher Empfang, leckeres Essen und tolle Atmosphäre und Team. Im Sommer genießt man einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Elbe, in den kühleren Monaten kann man es sich in der schönen Gaststube bequem machen. Wir haben den Zugang über die Leipziger Straße entdeckt. Von hier aus geht's durch die Vinothek direkt in den schönen Gastraum. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Und das Motto "wie bei Mama" ist hier definitiv Programm. 😊
