We had a truly wonderful evening at Palladion! 😍 The appetizer platter was simply divine – everything was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The main courses were also fantastic; our whole group of colleagues was simply thrilled. But the real highlight was our waiter: super friendly, funny, and always ready with a witty remark. He generously and cheerfully kept us supplied with ouzo – let's just say we had plenty of laughs! 😂 Thank you so much for this amazing evening – we'll definitely be back! 🍽️✨

We really enjoy eating at Greek restaurants. Almost everyone in Hanover and the surrounding area knows this place. But this one was the most expensive so far. In my opinion, the prices aren't justified for the portions you get. I ordered a salmon fillet. According to the menu, it came with "vegetables and rosemary potatoes." I actually only got a salmon fillet with two snow peas and one green asparagus. A single asparagus spear. The two pieces of snow peas and the one green asparagus were more for decoration than the vegetables described. Rosemary potatoes weren't on my plate?! Instead, I got a portion of tomato rice after dinner. My mother and father had a lamb fillet plate. For our appetizers, we had tzatziki, eggplant towers, and zucchini fritters. The portions were really extremely small. Zucchini fritters: 3 balls. Eggplant towers: 4 slices only. The tzatziki also had 2 tablespoons (just by eye). Sure, it was delicious and tasted great. But will the portions be filling? No. I'd recommend it, but I wouldn't go back.

I've been there several times now and have also ordered food several times, and I find the restaurant to be excellent in every respect. The service is very friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance, as well as the food, is excellent. It's certainly a bit more expensive, but the food and service are absolutely worth it.

The restaurant was voted the best in Hanover. It's beautifully decorated, but lacks a bit of a cozy feel for my taste. The service is excellent, and the wines are very well selected. The food was good, but not spectacular. The meat was a bit dry. The rice and sauce were as expected.

I have a mixed feelings about our visit in this Restaurant. The food was good and the personel is friendly but as we came, on our table were dirty dishes, that suposedly were clean. We will come back someday. Maybe next time will be bether.

The house wine also went perfectly with it. The value for money is absolutely fair, and you'll go home full and happy. We'll definitely be back – 100% recommendation!

We celebrated my son's baptism there 17 years ago and wanted to go back again. Everything has been newly designed, very exclusive, and of high quality. The food was fantastic. We'll be coming back more often now; we really enjoyed it. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We had a reservation for a group of four and were able to spend a delicious evening here. Both the vegetarians and the meat-eaters thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A particular highlight were the zucchini fritters, which we treated ourselves to as an appetizer and then, thankfully, reappeared with the mixed platter. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, incredibly seasoned, simply magnificent. We started with a delicious mixed salad, dressing was separate, and fresh, warm bread. The main courses (including liver and a mixed meat platter) were beautifully dressed and very tasty, well-seasoned, and the portions were large enough to fill us up without sinking us into a soup coma. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, but could have stopped by more often (and persuaded us to order dessert, for example), but it was quite busy, which shouldn't detract from the overall impression. The restaurant is a bit out of the way, but the journey is worth it. Parking is currently limited due to construction work all around, but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll definitely be back.

The food and ambiance were very good. The service, from entering the restaurant to reaching our reserved table, was also extremely friendly and uncomplicated. From then on, the service was, to be honest, average. But in the end, the correct food and drinks arrived promptly, and we left full and happy.

There is an extensive wine list. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but it's worth it. I would just like to warn you not to order the appetizer with the two dips, feta cheese, and tzatziki, for one person. It's plenty big enough for two or three people. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish my main course 😅 Everything was great and a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back 😊

The Palladion isn't exactly "around the corner" for us, which is why we, UNFORTUNATELY, rarely go there. Today we were there again for the summer gourmet holiday buffet, and just like last time, I was absolutely thrilled. So, it deserves a post here. The restaurant exudes an incredibly wonderful ambiance. Despite the rainy weather, we sat on the terrace/in the cute courtyard. For me, it's a wonderful, feel-good place. The staff is extremely dedicated and more than friendly from start to finish. That really deserves special praise! Now for the food... In my opinion, the buffet leaves nothing to be desired. There was great mezze, perfectly prepared lamb dishes, fish and seafood, and delicious cakes for dessert. For me, it was excellent value for money. I can't and won't complain about anything; top, top, top. We'd love to come back!

We celebrated a friend's birthday at the restaurant – and it was simply fantastic! The waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt at home. The food was a dream: authentic Greek, fresh, and full of flavor. As a special surprise, the birthday boy or girl even got a free dessert – a truly lovely gesture that perfectly rounded off the evening. We definitely recommend it!

The Palladion is a wonderful Greek restaurant in Hannover Anderten. Whether you sit inside or outside, the ambiance is perfect, and the service is excellent. In addition to the typical meat dishes, the menu offers a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

Great Greek, some completely different dishes/interpretations. We had fish from the display, in this case turbot. Surf and Turf as a grill plate with gyros and calamari or sepia. Your choice of grilled or fried. Very great, very tasty, very happy again. However, if you expect classic Greek dishes, you will probably be disappointed because the price is a bit higher. On the next visit it was even better, incredibly tasty, feta from the oven, eggplant towers, grilled shrimp. Great service and a really reasonable price for this outstanding quality. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

I found the portions to be quite small for the price. Unfortunately, I personally found the normal gyro to be too dry. Too little sauce and no fries (just asked for them). However, other dishes that were ordered were very well received. The service was very friendly.

It is a beautifully furnished restaurant, also suitable for larger groups. The outdoor area is really great and invites you to sit outside when the weather is nice. A covered terrace is also available. The food and drink selection is very good and highly recommended in terms of taste. The service is friendly and very attentive. The price is a little more expensive, so it is always something special for us to eat there.

We were there on a weekday evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The service was particularly attentive and friendly. As a small gesture, they offered us a small salad with two types of dressing beforehand – very nice! The starter, grilled eggplant, was delicious. For main courses, we had moussaka and the daily special, sea bream on spinach leaves. Both were excellently prepared and truly delicious. We'd love to come back!

We made reservations online for 5 people. I then asked by phone whether it would be possible to come with 6 people. This was agreed to. It's not a big problem, I thought, since at a table where 5 people can fit, 6 can fit. That just sounds logical to me. Of course there was no table available when we arrived. After 25 minutes we asked politely... We were then told that there was of course a table for 5 available the whole time. We then said that we would of course take it. It then took another 10 minutes until we got to the table. This table was actually a table for 4 people. A chair was simply placed at the end. The three of us then sat on a bench for two, two on the other bench and one on the chair that had been placed. The person sitting on the chair had to squeeze close to the table so that the service staff could get through. So definitely not a table for 5. We then got up and left. We were given a friendly farewell. Nobody really realized that we didn't have a nice evening and that we still hadn't eaten anything at 8:15 p.m. It's difficult if you want to occupy the tables at least twice in the evening without telling the guests that they have to leave after 2 hours so that the place is free for the next guests. The worst thing about it was that we felt really ripped off because there was definitely no table available for 5 people but only for 4. Well, our consequence will be never to eat there again, even though we have always enjoyed the food very much.

We pretty much got through all the Greeks in Hanover. We have now found the best one yet.

Mega delicious food, very large selection of vegetarian dishes too. Totally nice staff, everything went very quickly, we were there with 3 children and it worked great. The ambience is very nice, a bit divided so you can sit nicely and not so close to each other. We'd love to come back when we come to Hanover again!

We really liked the “new” Palladion - the new colors of white and gray make the restaurant appear modern and contemporary. Loving decorations and very beautiful dishes and glasses complete this impression. We ordered calamari and picked it up. The calamari was tough and inedible, swimming in fat. The accompanying salad was soaking wet, consisted of lettuce leaves, 3 poor quality tomato slices, 5 chickpeas and half a cucumber slice. Due to the wetness of the salad, the bland yogurt dressing did not stick to the salad, but was also diluted by the water present on the leaves. The specially ordered tzatziki was good. Unfortunately, the price of €31.10 for 1 x calamari with red rice and side salad plus 1x zaiziki was in no way justified.

Strangely, the text of my review was deleted! So now again: I have been visiting the Palladion for around 30 years. For me it was the best Greek in Hanover. Unfortunately, the quality and quantity have decreased somewhat over the past 5 years. Now on the last visit it was really just mediocre at high prices. There are no more pepperoni and olives in the salad, which is what makes a Greek salad. Suzuki and Suflaki grilled for too long and therefore dry. Giros ok but just add a spoonful of rice. Dish very clear for 24 euros. It was definitely our last visit. Let's see if the text is deleted again 🤭

Very nice place to experience Greece culinary.

Unfortunately, the meat preparation ideas are not to my taste, I had the Delta platter: the Giros was dry, the skewer was tough and one half of the steak was raw. Maybe you should go there when it's less busy. The staff is very friendly and quick.

The food lacks the final kick, but is otherwise OK. The decorations in the winter garden (protruding imitation roofs) pose a certain risk of accidents. The 'roof edges' protrude into the guest room and are difficult to see. Risk of head injuries. The service is very friendly, even larger groups are catered for in a well-organized manner.

We were there early on a Sunday evening and didn't have a reservation. The reception was very friendly and in a good mood, as was the entire staff. The ambience is very successful and a welcome change compared to the typical Greek standard ambience. This also applies to the food, it is lovingly prepared and different from the usual standard in many small details. The quality of the food was very good, the cooking point was exactly right and the taste was wonderfully spicy. The Palladion team shows that you can surprise guests even with simple side dishes such as fries. We spent a few very nice hours and will definitely come back on our next visit to Hanover.

Wir waren mal wieder nach langer Zeit im Palladion zu Gast. Hier wurde ein wenig renoviert, die komplette Einrichtung ist in grau und weiß gehalten, die Stühle im Innenraum sind bequem gepolstert. Insgesamt ist alles heller und etwas moderner geworden, ohne dabei den mediterranen Stil zu vernachlässigen. Auch die Speisekarte wurde überarbeitet, ein paar Gerichte wurden gestrichen und ein paar neue kamen dazu - insgesamt wurde scheinbar ein wenig verschlankt. Der Beilagensalat wird jetzt für alle in einer Schüssel serviert und jeder nimmt sich soviel er möchte. Die beiden Dressings werden dabei separat serviert. Das leckere Brot wird jetzt erst zum Beilagensalat gereicht und den Ouzo auf’s Haus gibt es jetzt erst am Schluss und nicht bereits beim Beginn des Besuchs. Schade, denn das waren ein paar nette Details, mit denen sich das Palladion vom Rest der griechischen Restaurants in Hannover abgegrenzt hatte. Die Speisen waren durch die Bank recht lecker, so wie man es in der Vergangenheit auch gewohnt war. Allerdings bin ich mit der Preispolitik bei den einzelnen Gerichten nicht einverstanden. Das Schweinemedaillions-Pfännchen (26,9€), 3 Stück Fleisch, viel Soße, wenig Gemüse und Pilze und eine kleine Schüssel mit Palladion Pommes, war lecker, aber ohne Vorspeise wird man nur satt davon, wenn man ordentlich vom leckeren Brot nachordert.
Der Beta-Teller (22,9€), 2 Suflaki und Gyros wird mittlerweile ganz ohne „Pommes“ serviert. Ein Lichtblick zu diesem Thema allerdings stellt der „Gemischte vegetarische Teller aus Vorspeisen“ (19,5€) dar. Die Zucchinipuffer, der Feta in Mandelkruste, die Fallafel, die Feta-Minz Krokette, etc. sind einfach lecker und die Portionsgröße ist dem Preis mehr als angemessen. Hier benötigt man definitiv keine Vorspeise mehr. Insgesamt aber hat das Palladion einen guten Eindruck bei uns hinterlassen. Das Personal ist größtenteils sehr freundlich. Allerdings muss der ein oder andere noch lernen, seinen Stresslevel ggü. dem Gast zu verbergen. Das Restaurant wird an einem Freitagabend sehr gut besucht, so dass wir mit einer Reservierung am Vortag erst ab 19:45 Uhr einen Tisch bekamen.
Insgesamt sehr gute 4 Sterne…

Great restaurant, super modern and chic furnishings. The last time I was there was before the renovation, it was great but now it's even nicer. We now eat vegan and so couldn't come over for a long time, but now you also have something for vegans and vegetarians. Very tasty, keep it up! The only thing is that the staff perhaps needs to be introduced to vegan cuisine more, as it sometimes had the impression that not everyone knew exactly what it was all about.
