My Iftar experience at this restaurant today was a complete disappointment. The employee was extremely rude and showed no respect for the guests. The service was abysmal—I've never experienced anything like it. During such an important month as Ramadan, I expect at least a modicum of courtesy and professionalism. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Well, when you get takeaway food it's always as if the staff don't want to serve you.

Unfortunately the kebab plate was a disappointment. The meat was quite tasteless and also quite fatty. The tzatziki wasn't convincing at all - it tasted watered down and had little flavor. The fries were at least okay, but the mayo in packets was a no-go. The prices were definitely too high for the quality offered. There are better alternatives.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Essen kam über eine Stunde später als vereinbart worden war. Wir hatten eine Familienfeier und essen sollte um 14 Uhr fertig sein. Über eine Stunde später steht nicht mal Wasser auf dem Tisch. Auf Nachfrage gibt es nur eine patzige Antwort. Einfach unfreundlich. Nie wieder betrete ich diesen Laden!

In itself a nice place to eat. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly good on our last visit. The food didn't taste good several times. The first time we thought it was just bad luck, but when we tried it again we noticed that the quality of the food had decreased.

I have been a customer for 3 years and always drive there from Mönchengladbach to eat. I was there normally last night. Unfortunately, they have dropped a lot, even though they have increased the prices. You can see comparison!! The first photo from yesterday and the other from 2 months

Normally always been very satisfied. Unfortunately more than dissatisfied during today's visit. The take-away order was taken at the counter and it was announced that due to a celebration there were several guests at one table and therefore a waiting time of 10 minutes was to be expected. No problem at all, but after 10 minutes it was pointed out that another 10 minutes of waiting time would be expected. After these 10 minutes, another 10 minutes was asked. I then asked to cancel my order. The waitress's answer did the rest for me. I should accept that such a large order has priority. True to the motto 'money comes first'! 6 employees at the counter looked at each other and thought about who would put the rice on the tablet. It would definitely be possible to assign one of the employees to work for the other customers. No apology was offered, nor was any understanding shown that an expected waiting time of 40 minutes was unreasonable. I was there several times a month. This will no longer be the case in the future and I will advise against anyone visiting this store. Actually, it's a shame!

For a kebab plate, very little meat and few fries, it costs 16.90 euros, the most expensive kebab far and wide. Unfriendly employees. Ich habe das sofort dem Personal gemeldet, doch anstatt einer Entschuldigung oder einer Entschädigung, wurde ich einfach abgewiesen und es gab keinerlei Rückerstattung oder ein Angebot zur Wiedergutmachung. Der Inhaber war zudem sehr unfreundlich und behandelte uns eher respektlos, was das Erlebnis noch unangenehmer machte. Beim zweiten Besuch dann der nächste Schock: Diesmal entdeckte ich einen Nagel in meinem Essen. So etwas ist einfach untragbar, vor allem wenn es um Hygiene und Lebensmittelsicherheit geht. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie so etwas passieren kann, aber es ist definitiv ein klarer Hinweis auf mangelnde Sorgfalt und Kontrolle in der Küche. Insgesamt kann ich nur sagen: Dieses Restaurant hat sowohl in Sachen Qualität als auch Kundenservice komplett versagt. Ich werde definitiv nicht mehr wiederkommen und rate jedem, sich woanders umzusehen.

Unfortunately I have to say that I cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. On the first visit I found a hair in my food. I immediately reported this to staff, but instead of an apology or compensation, I was simply dismissed and there was no refund or offer of redress. The owner was also very unfriendly and treated us rather disrespectfully, which made the experience even more unpleasant. The next shock came on the second visit: this time I discovered a nail in my food. Something like this is simply unacceptable, especially when it comes to hygiene and food safety. I can't imagine how something like this could happen, but it's definitely a clear indication of a lack of care and control in the kitchen. Overall, all I can say is that this restaurant has completely failed in terms of both quality and customer service. I definitely won't be coming back and advise everyone to look elsewhere.

All well and good but kebab is really unnecessarily expensive and 90% minced meat. Drinks for €3.50?! The only good thing is that the employees don't cause a big problem when there's a little money missing.

Unfortunately the food was served very half-heartedly. Meat was almost as dry as a 2 week baguette. Apart from that the staff was very snooty and arrogant. There's no need to start with unfriendliness. The small, thin employee with the pointy nose was particularly derogatory. I asked her for something and she replied with an irritated tone that I should wait or else they could "go eat somewhere else". Conclusion: Spare yourself and eat somewhere else

We were there for the first time because our favorite restaurant was closed due to company holidays. After ordering, the food arrived within 10 minutes. We were very surprised and discovered that our side dish (bulgur pilaf) was cold. We only ate the lamb skewer and left the side dish. We pointed this out to the waiter and got a small portion of fries in return. It's a shame, just so that the food is served quickly, no attention is paid to the quality. The young waiter tries to appear polite and nice. There is no response to thank you. Even when we said goodbye there was no answer. Maybe he is still inexperienced and still has a lot to learn. It was very stuffy and warm inside. There will be no further visit there.

Kaum haben wir uns bestellt kam in 10 Minuten das Essen. Ist ja sehr schön schnell haben wir uns gedacht. Als wir die Beilage (Bulgur Pilav) probiert haben,, haben wir festgestellt, dass es kalt war. Der Kellner war unerfahren und war nicht sehr freundlich. Man sagt danke und er guckt dich nur an und sagst nicht einmal bitte. I was there in the morning a week ago for Turkish soup. To try it for the first time, the employee was unusually friendly, she explained everything that was inside and what it was called, everything was neatly packed (the food was to take away), you get bread for free, garlic was also strained. All three meat soups were incredibly tasty, lots of meat in them and, most importantly, no meat leftovers.

I have been warmly welcomed here every time. And the food is really highly recommended. Whether it's a quick kebab for in between or a hearty grilled plate with a generous starter and tea provided on site. Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu.

Worst experience ever. The restaurant employees are mentally ill, especially those who stand next to the kebab skewer. I don't recommend it to anyone unless they want to be offended. Finally, I recommend restaurant owners to check themselves and hold workers accountable because if they continue like this, they will close soon.

I would prefer not to give a star, no one here knows anything about it. We have been regular customers here for a long time and visit this shop with our little dog through the garden entrance and also stay there to dine. Every time there are other stupid employees who try to explain to you that dogs have no place in the store even though we are in the garden and the topic has already been approved by other management. These unnecessary discussions by diminished, restricted people are becoming extremely annoying. From now on I will no longer enter this dirty shop that should clean its furniture and spend my money on more extravagant ventures. It's also better to hire people who went to school and not those who speak bad German and Turkish and only smoke instead of working.

Basically a great store but... Doner is said to have been good, I can't say anything about it, I had an Adana Kebab. The Adana Kabab was topped as desired and the filling was ok, but unfortunately the thing was twisted together so badly that it was almost inedible, and the aluminum foil was twisted into the dough in such a way that I almost ate it. I then had to disassemble the thing to get to the appetizing contents.

Everything was very nice, from dessert to tea. All the staff welcomed us nicely.

I've been a regular here for years. Super friendly service and great food. The first time I experienced that breaking the fast was organized in such a way that there were no waiting times at all. If you want delicious and relaxed Turkish food in Altenessen and the surrounding area, you should definitely stop by here.

A single catastrophe. Extremely unfriendly staff, we made reservations for 3 people to break our fast and were sent away because there were no tables available despite reservations! We were sent from A to B and the employees complained that we broke our fast after 40 minutes and opened in another restaurant. Definitely not recommended!!! Doesn't deserve a single star!

Ordered here for iftaar and our food simply didn't arrive. People who ordered after us were before us Eat. After I wanted to pay for my starter and leave, we were told our food was ready, but no one knew what we had ordered. I hadn't even touched some of my plate and half of my food wasn't wrapped. We had a soccer game against RWEssen on March 16th. After the game we talked to some parents. Öz Urfa Ocakbaşı was recommended to us here. Then we went there. Thank you very much for the recommendation. 👍 We were greeted very friendly by a lady in German. 😃 We ordered the food. While we waited we got our salad with warm pide (flatbread) and three different dips. Really very tasty. 😋 Then our food arrived. Once a mixed grill plate. Once a chicken skewer plate. Once a liver skewer plate. All in all recommended and very tasty. The plates were also beautifully decorated to the eye. ❤️🤍 The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified and fair - thank you for that. 💶 The ambience is clean and stylishly furnished. However, I have one point of criticism. We sat at the window, unfortunately I would have to look directly at an unsightly corner. I'm adding the picture so this can be fixed! Conclusion: I can recommend the snack bar + restaurant. PS.: There are also desserts to take away here. 💪

Great Turkish restaurant with a charcoal grill. The meat and the other dishes are simply incredibly tasty, also well seasoned. You always get fresh flatbread with 3 different dips in advance. The fresh pide are also a delight, served straight from the oven on a wooden plate. We have been going there spontaneously for years and are always warmly welcomed. The service is also great. It is very busy there on weekends, but the service always tries to serve everything to our satisfaction. The ambience is also good. The restaurant is something in between a restaurant and a snack bar, because they also have walk-in customers who pick up something to take away. There is always fresh flatbread from the oven, which is also available for purchase. After your meal you can also order various sweet dishes as dessert. However, we were always so fed up that we never tried a dessert. The dishes ordered are always sumptuous and the price-performance ratio is fine. Prices have been increased over the last 2 years, but this is due to inflation and recurring VAT in the catering industry.

Seit Jahren gehe ich unwahrscheinlich gerne dort hin. Immer netter und freundlicher Service. Das Essen schmeckt wunderbar. Ich werde immer gerne wieder kommen und das Essen genießen.

Sehr schlechtes und ekliges Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter sind alles nur Flüchtlinge und können kein einziges Wort deutsch.!!! Die Bestellungen dauern miese lange… 3 Stunden habe ich auf ein Adana Kebap Gewartet!!! Sehr schlecht das Essen hat auch sehr kalt geschmeckt.. der Chef Koch ist richtig unhygienisch… Kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen!!
