Unfortunately the food was served very half-heartedly. Meat was almost as dry as a 2 week baguette. Apart from that the staff was very snooty and arrogant. There's no need to start with unfriendliness. The small, thin employee with the pointy nose was particularly derogatory. I asked her for something and she replied with an irritated tone that I should wait or else they could "go eat somewhere else". Conclusion: Spare yourself and eat somewhere else

The employees are very attentive and the food is great, the breakfast buffet is excellent.

Today I have it so delicious. I can totally recommend the chicken skewers 😍

We were there for the first time because our favorite restaurant was closed due to company holidays. After ordering, the food arrived within 10 minutes. We were very surprised and discovered that our side dish (bulgur pilaf) was cold. We only ate the lamb skewer and left the side dish. We pointed this out to the waiter and got a small portion of fries in return. It's a shame, just so that the food is served quickly, no attention is paid to the quality. The young waiter tries to appear polite and nice. There is no response to thank you. Even when we said goodbye there was no answer. Maybe he is still inexperienced and still has a lot to learn. It was very stuffy and warm inside. There will be no further visit there.

Kaum haben wir uns bestellt kam in 10 Minuten das Essen. Ist ja sehr schön schnell haben wir uns gedacht. Als wir die Beilage (Bulgur Pilav) probiert haben,, haben wir festgestellt, dass es kalt war. Der Kellner war unerfahren und war nicht sehr freundlich. Man sagt danke und er guckt dich nur an und sagst nicht einmal bitte. Er war bestimmt eingeschnappt, als wir gesagt haben, die Beilage ist kalt. 😞

I was there in the morning a week ago for Turkish soup. To try it for the first time, the employee was unusually friendly, she explained everything that was inside and what it was called, everything was neatly packed (the food was to take away), you get bread for free, garlic was also strained. All three meat soups were incredibly tasty, lots of meat in them and, most importantly, no meat leftovers.

I have been warmly welcomed here every time. And the food is really highly recommended. Whether it's a quick kebab for in between or a hearty grilled plate with a generous starter and tea provided on site. Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu.

Worst experience ever. The restaurant employees are mentally ill, especially those who stand next to the kebab skewer. I don't recommend it to anyone unless they want to be offended. Finally, I recommend restaurant owners to check themselves and hold workers accountable because if they continue like this, they will close soon.

We have been regular customers here for a long time and visit this shop with our little dog through the garden entrance and also stay there to dine. Every time there are other stupid employees who try to explain to you that dogs have no place in the store even though we are in the garden and the topic has already been approved by other management. These unnecessary discussions by diminished, restricted people are becoming extremely annoying. From now on I will no longer enter this dirty shop that should clean its furniture and spend my money on more extravagant ventures. It's also better to hire people who went to school and not those who speak bad German and Turkish and only smoke instead of working.

I told the staff that it was worthless, bad grill, they put 3 days old bread in it, the meat was overcooked, bloody raw, five lambs should have been grilled, they reduced it to 4, it costs 25 Euros for two bites of meat. They are exploiting people, I paid 60 Euros for two plates of food, the picaks they brought do not cut old meat, I do not recommend anyone to go, I waited 15 minutes for a coke, everything is zero, go somewhere else, otherwise you will be disappointed.

Never eat here again, the entire staff was very unfriendly, I didn't get what was ordered, a mini fries that I didn't want, a meat skewer and a wet twisted kebab that I hardly ate for a whopping €18.90, who eat here It's your own fault!!!!!

Basically a great store but... Doner is said to have been good, I can't say anything about it, I had an Adana Kebab. The Adana Kabab was topped as desired and the filling was ok, but unfortunately the thing was twisted together so badly that it was almost inedible, and the aluminum foil was twisted into the dough in such a way that I almost ate it. I then had to disassemble the thing to get to the appetizing contents.

Everything was very nice, from dessert to tea. All the staff welcomed us nicely.

I've been a regular here for years. Super friendly service and great food. The first time I experienced that breaking the fast was organized in such a way that there were no waiting times at all. If you want delicious and relaxed Turkish food in Altenessen and the surrounding area, you should definitely stop by here.

A single catastrophe. Starting with the reservation, which was not kept, and continuing to the unfriendly service, who had more than no plan when it came to receiving or distributing the food...the food itself was lukewarm and completely overpriced for the size. And the paying at the end is a complete disaster... By the way... toilets aren't any better either... and that is often an indication of the order and cleanliness of the entire restaurant. NEVER again... there was no excuse either... just nothing. Absolutely NOT recommended!

Extremely unfriendly staff, we made reservations for 3 people to break our fast and were sent away because there were no tables available despite reservations! We were sent from A to B and the employees complained that we broke our fast after 40 minutes and opened in another restaurant. Definitely not recommended!!! Doesn't deserve a single star!

Ordered here for iftaar and our food simply didn't arrive. People who ordered after us were before us Eat. After I wanted to pay for my starter and leave, we were told our food was ready, but no one knew what we had ordered. I hadn't even touched some of my plate and half of my food wasn't wrapped. We had a soccer game against RWEssen on March 16th. After the game we talked to some parents. Öz Urfa Ocakbaşı was recommended to us here. Then we went there. Thank you very much for the recommendation. 👍 We were greeted very friendly by a lady in German. 😃 We ordered the food. While we waited we got our salad with warm pide (flatbread) and three different dips. Really very tasty. 😋 Then our food arrived. Once a mixed grill plate. Once a chicken skewer plate. Once a liver skewer plate. All in all recommended and very tasty. The plates were also beautifully decorated to the eye. ❤️🤍 The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified and fair - thank you for that. 💶 The ambience is clean and stylishly furnished. However, I have one point of criticism. We sat at the window, unfortunately I would have to look directly at an unsightly corner. I'm adding the picture so this can be fixed! Conclusion: I can recommend the snack bar + restaurant. PS.: There are also desserts to take away here. 💪

Abouskut disrespectful, had to pay for something we didn't eat and were put down at the same time!!! The entire staff doesn't speak German either. We wanted to have our food packed at the end and half of the food was thrown away and told us that we should be satisfied that we had something received at all

Great Turkish restaurant with a charcoal grill. The meat and the other dishes are simply incredibly tasty, also well seasoned. You always get fresh flatbread with 3 different dips in advance. The fresh pide are also a delight, served straight from the oven on a wooden plate. We have been going there spontaneously for years and are always warmly welcomed. The service is also great. It is very busy there on weekends, but the service always tries to serve everything to our satisfaction. The ambience is also good. The restaurant is something in between a restaurant and a snack bar, because they also have walk-in customers who pick up something to take away. There is always fresh flatbread from the oven, which is also available for purchase. After your meal you can also order various sweet dishes as dessert. However, we were always so fed up that we never tried a dessert. The dishes ordered are always sumptuous and the price-performance ratio is fine. Prices have been increased over the last 2 years, but this is due to inflation and recurring VAT in the catering industry.

I ordered the classic “Adana kebap”. The food was okay. The portion was clearly too meager for the price. The service is absolutely the worst in the store. Was eating there again for the first time in a long time. From today on never again!!!

An order that was incorrectly placed 30 seconds ago and was supposed to be changed immediately was not changed and I was forced to pay the dish!!!! I will never eat anything in this shop again

Seit Jahren gehe ich unwahrscheinlich gerne dort hin. Immer netter und freundlicher Service. Das Essen schmeckt wunderbar. Ich werde immer gerne wieder kommen und das Essen genießen.

Sehr schlechtes und ekliges Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter sind alles nur Flüchtlinge und können kein einziges Wort deutsch.!!! Die Bestellungen dauern miese lange… 3 Stunden habe ich auf ein Adana Kebap Gewartet!!! Sehr schlecht das Essen hat auch sehr kalt geschmeckt.. der Chef Koch ist richtig unhygienisch… Kann ich nicht weiter empfehlen!!

Wir haben Samstag da unser Mädels Weihnachtsfrühstück gemacht. 3 von uns waren das erste mal da. Und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Essen war gut und lecker allerdings nach 50min wartezeit nach bestellung und ein verpeilten kellner fand ich den service nicht gut da wir noch gebeten wurden den tisch noch zu wechseln aus welchem grund auch immer. Einrichtung hinten richtung terasse kann auch mal wieder renoviert werden da doch schon paar möbel angeschlagen aussehen.

Nach meinem ersten Besuch heute, habe ich eins der schlechtesten Eindrücke eines Restaurants die ich jemals bekommen habe. Als erstes wurden wir in einem Tisch im hinteren Teil des Restaurants eingeführt. Da der Restaurant keine Ordnung zeigt, wurden wir gebeten uns an einem anderen Tisch hinzusetzen (das präsentierte für uns kein Problem). Da wir vergessen wurden um zu bestellen, musste ich selbst der Leiter ansprechen um die Bestellung aufzugeben. Das Essen war ganz in Ordnung. Die Portionen sind mittelmäßiger Größe - für einen Erwachsenen reicht es nicht komplett aus. Außerdem wurden 2 weitere vorbestellte Beilagen vergessen. Der Raum war (zum mindest am heutigen Tag) sehr laut und ziemlich eng. Der Service fragt freundlich trotzdem wurde aber nicht ein Mal nachgefragt um Getränke nachzubestellen. Insgesamt ein sehr trauriges kulinarisches Erlebnis.

Ich war gerade eben dort Essen. Habe mir eine Tasse Mercimek und Beyti Sarma bestellt. So schlechte Essen habe ich seit langem nicht gegessen. Supe war aufgekocht keine Ahnung von wieviel Stunden der war Ich glaube seit Morgens. Beyti sarma war keine Beyti sondern Adana im Dürüm gepackt danach im Toster oben drauf Tomatenmarkt. Wenn du keine Beyti hasst konntest du mir das sagen Ich konnte auch was anderes Essen können. Beyti Sarma macht man im Offen und nicht im Spiess und einfach im Dürüm einpacken danach Toaster. Schade das Ich sowas gegessen habe hatte keine andere Wahl war zu Spät und schade für mein Geld. Der Service war gut der Keller Super junge aber was soll der machen wenn der Koch versucht zu manipulieren aber er nicht kann. SCHÄME dich Koch.

Mir ist gefallen, wie Suppe gemacht wurde. Obwohl das ganz einfache türkische rote Linsensuppe war, haben die mit Suppe noch scharfe paprika, Zitrone, Zwiebeln und Brot mitgebracht. Bin zufrieden nach Hause gegangen.

Sehr nettes Personal, super leckeres Essen und extrem gepflegte Location.. Kann ich nur empfehlen.. Ich glaube wenn ich so manche Rezensionen hier lese, dass wie man in den Wald ruft, so schallt es auch raus. Wenn Hochbetrieb ist, muss man einfach auch verstehen dass dort Menschen arbeiten und keine Roboter.. Das Lokal wurde auch super renoviert und sieht echt klasse aus.. War beeindruckt..

Einfach nur Top 👍👍👍👍fühlt man sich wie im Heimat immer wieder gerne Empfehlenswert 🤌🤌🤌
