Saturday late night, a bit drunk and looking for a quick snack before heading home. Stumbled into this place and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be, super friendly staff awesome food that made one all sober with the taste of true Turkish well made cuisines. Back home on the pillow at the hotel, this pick rounded a perfect day 👍

Great place for tasty authentic kebab. With the great and friendly service late night it makes the place an ideal visit but as a late night snack as well as a Family dinner. Kudos

Today we were at Urfa with 5 people. We waited more than 1 hour. Which isn't really a problem, but the food was a disaster. The chicken was still raw and the bulgur didn't taste like anything. The urfa grill plate was way too spicy. We love spiciness but this was inedible. There was hardly any salad on the plate. No tomatoes or cucumbers just dry lettuce leaves. For €150 I really expect a bit more quality. Just overpriced. Never again !

Back after a long time and very excited. The food was again very tasty and the service was again top, very polite and attentive from the waiter “Eyup”. The highlight of the evening was the “air bread”, very tasty.

Mega lecker! Lamb cutlet highly recommended! The second time I went, it was aged too much and the texture was not as good as raw meat. Free bread and dip before the meal and tea after the meal, but tea doesn't always seem to be provided. It's open late at night until 4pm, so you can stop by even at 11pm if you're hungry. The staff is friendly.

The restaurant is simple, but quite spacious and organized. The food stands out as it is very tasty! First we went to try the Döner and we became customers! We came back again to try other dishes and we remain fans! Their chicken seasoning is incredible. I suggest trying it. The service is very friendly.

In fact, it's been a while since we've been there. Typical Turkish restaurant in Klein Istanbul, Hamburg's Steindamm. Very meat-heavy, you wonder who should eat all the meat, mainly minced meat skewers. But the food is tasty and the chai, Turkish tea in small glasses, is excellent

I've been to Urfa twice since I went, the food was a bit cold but ok, service was zero!!! A gentleman with white hair is unfriendly, he always looks like an angry man!

Mein Mann hat verschiedene Döner Kebabs für die Familie gekauft und als ich meinen ersten Bissen im Mund hatte, merkte ich, dass der Geschmack wirklich widerlich war und spukte das Essen wieder aus. Was ich dann sah war das weiße Ende einer Zigarette, die im Döner gewesen und auf die ich gebissen hatte. Dies mag eine unglückliche Ausnahme gewesen sein, hat mir aber definitiv den Abend über Bauchschmerzen und Ekel bereitet und meinen Appetit auf dieses Restaurant für immer verdorben.

My boyfriend recently had dinner here with two friends and was so excited about Adana that he invited me to Köz Urfa yesterday. The taste of the adana skewer was really outstanding, but unfortunately we were pretty unlucky yesterday because the skewers were full of cartilage. Every other bite we had to spit out hard pieces of cartilage. In the end I had 12 pieces of cartilage. Unfortunately, that ruined everything. According to my friend, he didn't have a single piece of cartilage last time

The worst Beyti Kebap I have ever eaten. There were always hard pieces in the meat that were very unpleasant to chew.

Today I went to have lunch with my friend, the staff were talking on the phone, the service was very bad, the meat was good but the rice was very dry.

The Urfa plate is something to kneel down on. Likewise the great baklava, the courteous service and the beautiful, mysterious, brown-eyed women with headscarves that I hardly dare to look at 😇

bestellt haben wir zwei Dönerteller zu jeweils 16€. Vorspeise bestand aus lauwarmen Brot und Eşme und Joghurtdip. Soweit so gut, als der Dönerteller kam sahen wir gleich das alte Fleisch , trocken, kalt aus der Ablage. Wir baten den Kellner dann das bitte doch auszutauschen dieser hatte dann noch Lust zu diskutieren. Nie Wieder - Frechheit. 6 setzen!

Sehr gutes essen, wir fanden es hier ausgezeichnet. Der Service war gut und das Essen war der Hammer! Ich wünschte wir hätten sowas auch bei uns 😁 Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Meine Freundin und Ich sind spontan in dieses Restaurant gegangen und es war absolut göttlich. Eine riesen Portion feinstes türkisches Essen. Mein Hähnchen mit Reis und Pommes und Soße und Salat plus 2 Cola und 3 Riesen gefüllte Paprika mit einem 1 Wasser und Salat knapp 50€. Und für den Tollen Chef gab es selbstverständlich ein gutes Trinkgeld drauf. Dass Ambiente lädt einen sehr schnell ein und man verliert sofort dass zeitgefühl bei einem netten Gespräch mit dem Chef. Einen Tee gab es nach dem Essen auch noch aufs Haus. Beim Nächsten Besuch in Hamburg wird aufjedenfall nochmal ein Tisch reserviert. Macht bitte weiter so!

December 2023 tasty food kind staff fine space to dine in

Food was fine. Could use improvement in taste such as more salads, more sauces (what kebab house does not have garlic sauce?!) and less oil?! The kebab was dripping with oil. Prices were reasonable however service lacked in many aspects. The waiter we had commuted two mistakes. The first was bringing the wrong drink which he changed quickly however they also brought us a wrap when we asked for a doner. When confronted he made a big hissy fit but eventually changed it. Finally when it came to pay the bill which was 36.50 the waiter decided to put €40 claimed the 3.50 was for a tip. Sorry but considering all the above he did not deserve it. When declining to pay the tip he then asked another member of our table to pay the tip which is extremely bizarre to us. Nonetheless the food could use improvement and so could the service. We won’t be going back.

If you want to eat, exactly you will in Istanbul, in a great Kebab Restaurant, then the only Adress is this one! Amazing food, we love it, everytime!!

Meine Leibspeise: Linsensuppe und ein "Ballonbrot" dazu :-) Sehr sehr lecker! Dönertasche schmeckt kross lecker, Sonderwünsche werden immer gern berücksichtigt. Der Tee schmeckt super und auch die Süßigkeiten sind fein! Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und freundlich. Wer Döner mag, sollte ihn nur hier essen, denn auch die Hygiene stimmt, das Fleisch ist gut gekühlt und der Dönerspieß schön kross!

Ich habe dieses Restaurant vor kurzem Mal wieder besucht und dieses Mal mit meiner Freundin. Die Suppen schmecken und man merkt das richtige Zutaten benutzt werden. Beyti schmeckt so gut nach Holzkohle wow. Jeder Besuch hier war bis jetzt keine Enttäuschung. Empfehlung

Für uns sah es von außen sehr unscheinbar und recht klein aus (es ist Winterbetrieb), der Eindruck täuschte nur solange bis wir im Gastraum standen. Hinter der Tür verbirgt sich ein längerer Gastraum mit Ambiente. Eine zweite Etage gibt es auch. Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden, Essen war super zügig da und einfach nur lecker. Service hat uns jeden Wunsch an den Augen abgelesen. Der Besuch lohnt sich.

Sehr leckeres Essen und beste Bedingung, das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommen, freundlich und das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Ein Trip in Hamburg ohne Öz Urfa ist kein Trip!!!!! Nachtisch danach nicht vergessen. Sehr Empfehlenswert ;)

Das Essen war super lecker. Vor allem die Fleischsuppe. Auch die Bedienung super freundlich und mit sehr gutem deutsch. Es schmeckt sehr authentisch, ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Dankeschön. Auch der türkische Kaffee super!

Overpriced for very average Turkish food! I know this restaurant chain from Hannover, where it used to be a very good address for reliable good priced (not cheap) food. Ordered the same as every time I end up going to this restaurant, but this time the salad was thrown on to the same plate sogging the rice and the lambchop was basically a bone some stuff for the dogs. Very very disappointing. It used to be very good... before that corona breakout

War nach langer Zeit gestern Abend dort um es nochmal zu probieren:( Leider noch schlechter als vorher. Preiserhöhung verständlich überall sind die Preise gestiegen, aber hier für was??? Ich hatte in mein Dürüm eine ganze große Scheibe Paprika mit den Kernen und die Petersilie war ein ganzer Stängel. Über das Fleisch wie trocken der war möchte ich nicht schildern. Lavasbrot war in Ordnung. Wenn man es nicht kann, dann sollte man es lassen anzubieten! Soviel Geld für nichts!

Vi besøger Hamborg et par gange om året og efter at har prøvet maden mange andre steder fandt vi denne restaurant for nogle år siden. Siden da har vi altid spist her, når vi besøgte Hamborg og det vil blive ved. De har god mad, mængden er rigelig og prisen er rimelig.

At whichever Turkish restaurant one ends up landing in Hamburg, the chance is very high of eating plenty, well and for a fair price, variations being in service, commitment to the pandemic rules and hygiene. Back to Oz Urfa, one of the many such possibilities at Steindamm, service was present, food was great and plenty and price was more than fair - and they asked for proof of vaccination upon entrance (2G)!

hey Leute ich muss es sagen also ich war in USA und ich komme gerade nach Hamburg. ich hab kein Euro gehabt und wollte ihn Dollar zahlen und Er hat den Dollar nicht genommen, Er sagte einfach "bringst du Morgen" Es war sehr vertraulich oder wie kann man es nennen. Also ich war heute im Restaurant ich hab nur 2 kebab ohne alles bestellt eine junge an der Kasse sagt mir das kostet 20 € dann nach Restaurant leiter kommt bei mir und sagt du musst 40€ bezahlen wegen was hab ich gefragt sag wegen das ist alles mit reis und Salat und ich hab halb stunde gewartet nach dem halb stunde sag wenn du willst nicht einfach verpiss dich schade von eine so was Restaurant sie schämen nicht so reden mit eine Kunde ich will nicht niewieder bei urfa zum essen gehen

Nach Jahren mal wieder hier gewesen. Immer noch ein sehr guter Döner, insbesondere der Dürüm ist groß, lecker und preislich auch in Ordnung. Personal freundlich und bemüht. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen.
