Köz Adana in Hamburg

Disappointed with the Dürüm falafel. Unfortunately, it was much too thin, and as a result, it tasted mostly of batter and onions. The sauce was good, which is half the battle with falafel, but for 7.90, I really expected more.

Good kebab, but not much chili. I recommend it.

The food is delicious, the portions are really filling, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. I really enjoy eating there; the salami pizza is particularly delicious.

Was at night, maybe I got the leftovers but it wasn't good

After seeing an ad on TikTok, I wanted to give the place a try. At these prices, I expect cleanliness, service, and good food. My initial shock: a hair stuck to the side of the table in something sweet. Unfortunately, seven of us had already ordered, otherwise we would have left. The appetizer arrived and gave me hope, but the bread hadn't been reheated for the first time. Then my grilled plate, for almost €25, was a disgrace, the way it was served. Everything in one pile, without any love! The pide that came with it reminded me of when I reheated the pide incorrectly two days ago. Then I asked the waiter why my pepperoni was only half on my plate and the other half on my brother's. The answer was, "Because the customer never eats everything, and they only serve it whole when ordered." It was a close call for things to get out of hand, because the waiter became aggressive. I made it clear to him that HE was asking if everything was okay, and that was my answer. By now, the waiter will know when I was there. Incidentally, the receipt for the restroom cleaning had a signature for the interim cleaning, but none actually took place. How do I know that? I work as a facility manager in the cleaning industry. What a shame.

We love coming here; you always feel welcome, and everyone is always friendly, even at 11 p.m. because they're open late. The food is delicious, and there's also something for vegetarians. The music and the food make you feel like you're on holiday in Turkey :)

By far the best restaurant in eastern Hamburg. Very good food. Mid-range prices. Excellent service. I can truly recommend it without reservation.

I went to Adana Köz and was unfortunately very disappointed. The meat smelled unpleasant even when it was served, but I tried it anyway – it was absolutely inedible. Instead of addressing my complaint, they charged me for the meal anyway. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for me, neither in terms of taste nor service. I was visiting Hamburg but will definitely never eat at Adana Köz again!

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch. It was super delicious, with bread and sauces to start with, simply fantastic. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It certainly won't be our last time there.

We were there on a Friday evening around 8 p.m., four adults and one child. We waited over an hour for our food and were constantly told it would arrive in five minutes. In the end, the food arrived burnt. I must also add, the place was completely unoccupied! What a pity.

Disrespectful behavior! I feel truly ripped off – I drove 120 km, and then even the prices don't match the website. Instead of apologizing, the staff just tells me, "Do you have no idea about inflation? All prices have gone up." Am I to blame for your website not being updated? Am I to blame for inflation? What kind of people are you! Do you seriously expect customers to understand your mistakes and omissions? I'm attaching the images as proof for Google. So this review won't be deleted.

Damn good breakfast buffet and very friendly staff!

Unfortunately, the quality cannot be maintained. The service was rather poor. The gentleman said he had run out of something but served it to another table. We were then not allowed to sit in the back area, but other guests were allowed to later on.

We had our family evening here, and everything was absolutely perfect. The waiters were super friendly and accommodating, the food was incredibly delicious and well-done (I say that as someone of Turkish descent), the plates were beautifully presented and the portions were generous, and our son also really enjoyed the chicken nuggets and fries children's menu. Also interesting and important to know for Muslims: If you miss prayer, you don't have to worry at all. They've set up a small prayer room in the basement :). The only thing that could have been improved, which is why I'm definitely not deducting a full star, is the tea afterward. It was a bit too bitter for me. We ordered: Mixed grill plate for one person, 1 Tavuk şiş, 1 children's menu for 3, 2 Fritz Cola = €63.50

Went here for the buffet breakfast with a number of people. Plenty to choose from on the tables, hot scrambled eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, cold salads, breads of different varieties, tea, coffee, juices. Also lots of authentic middle eastern morning dishes. Good value. Sit outside or in.

It was our first experience at a Turkish restaurant, and I can't compare it to any other. I can say that we really enjoyed the food, and the staff was always polite and helpful. The place was clean and tidy, and the attention to detail was excellent, even though it wasn't my cup of tea. I highly recommend it and would definitely return if I had the chance to visit Hamburg in the future.

I was at this restaurant around 1:00 AM on 3:08 and ordered soup. The waiter who took my order was very rude and seemed annoyed. Even though I ordered very politely and thanked him, I didn't receive a response. When the soup arrived, the plate was completely dirty. The soup had already overflowed, the rim of the plate was dirty, and the waiter had thrown the bowl onto the table while serving. I confronted him and asked him what was going on, and I simply wanted to pay. I urge management to take such situations seriously. If your employees no longer have the patience or desire to work at this late hour, please change shifts. Customers who pay money don't deserve to be treated this way. I even explained the problem to another employee at the cash register, who apologized to me. Please check the cameras, time, and date—it's clear that the treatment of the guests was disrespectful.

Been trying different donar places here in Hamburg. Here i ordered the lentil soup, lahmajoon doner plate, and a large yogurt drink. Tye portion are big. The soup was very delicious. The lahmajoon doner was kinda lacking in flavor, even with the salad and the sauces. The yogurt drink here was also not all that, but it wasn't bad. Anyways, like I said big portions, pricess are pretty comparable with the other restaurants near by. €20-25 per person. They young lady waitress was outstanding in her job.

Disappointing Restaurant Experience I went to this restaurant with my family this evening. We each ordered a lahmacun with doner meat. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but satisfactory. Our order arrived after a very long wait. When the food was finally served, we discovered that the lahmacuns seemed raw and, what's more, there was no doner meat in them—even though we had specifically requested it. We asked the waiter about it and told him that the meat was raw. His reaction was disappointing: He just nodded and said that was normal for them. Another waitress we asked about it also said that they always cook it that way. For us, however, this was anything but normal or acceptable. Both the quality of the food and the handling of our complaint were disappointing. We had truly hoped for more—especially in terms of service and customer satisfaction.

It was the worst meat I have ever eaten in my life. I asked them to change it, but it was incredibly bad meat. Its smell, color and appearance were not beef at all.

So, nothing to complain about. The Adana was among the best I've ever eaten. Not dead, nice and juicy, and well-seasoned. You could sit outside despite the drizzle. Very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

I've been to this restaurant many times, with family, friends, and even on my own – the food is really good. Unfortunately, the service is extremely erratic, and this time it was downright disrespectful. Because of 10 cents (!), the waiter treated us accusatory, threw the change on the table, and said, "That's not money." No understanding, no courtesy – and this is for regular customers. That's not how you treat guests. I definitely won't be back.

The brunch was simply delicious. The selection was so extensive that it was impossible to try everything. Coffee, tea, orange juice, and apple juice were also included in the price. There were seven of us, and everyone went home satisfied. Reservations are essential!

Delicious vegetarian pizza, truly amazing! Fresh vegetables and very tasty cheese! The meat is also very tasty: we also had meat from a spit in the Dürüm, delicious, well-seasoned meat. With the charcoal grill, it simply makes a difference, and you can taste it here. The salad was beautifully presented and was also fresh and delicious. Before the meal, there was a welcome from the kitchen: warm, fluffy bread with various dips and a small salad! We were stunned and pleasantly surprised. Short wait, very pleasant service, and card payments were accepted without any problems. There were three of us passing through and we enjoyed a delicious lunch here. Highly recommended! 06/27/25 Today I'm going down to just 1 star, for all categories. However, that only refers to the takeaway. Something has gone wrong with every order so far, and it was always the customer's fault (mine), who supposedly ordered something completely different. Today again. We ordered a Dürüm and a Jumbo Döner. Both with veal, the Dürüm with Cacik, the Döner with all the sauces, and very, very spicy. We got the Dürüm as ordered and a Jumbo Dürüm that we didn't order. Complaining is pointless; we would have ordered everything as ordered and received it as ordered. This is truly the worst! And it was also the very last time we'll shop there. They simply don't listen to the customer at all and then claim the customer is in the wrong. I've never experienced anything like this before. We will also stop our regular visits to Köz Adana. Although I must mention here that the service in the restaurant remains exemplary. Back to the Jumbo Dürüm, which we didn't want at all: The meat was almost unseasoned, mushy, and tasteless. It lacked any spice; it was just a sauce. No thanks, I don't need that again. Never again. You immediately feel welcome and are cared for in a completely unobtrusive manner. Whether you have special requests, cutlery falls on the floor, or it's a matter of refilling your drinks, everything is taken care of immediately and courteously. The worst kebab box I've had in a long time. The meat was okay but not great, the fries were a disgrace, even worse than McDonald's, and the salad was mediocre. Not recommended, luckily there's a different shop every 20 meters 🙏😉🔱

A truly fantastic Turkish brunch buffet! Delicious and varied – everyone in our group (11 people) found something to their liking. We were particularly impressed by the large selection of fresh salads, egg dishes, and diverse desserts. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. Even drinks (coffee, tea, apple and orange juice) were included. We'll definitely be back! ☀️

The best Turkish restaurant I know

We ordered two doner kebab boxes to go. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The price of €8.90 each was pretty reasonable for a doner kebab box, but the sauce was rather tasteless, the meat had a high fat content and was generally very limp, and some of the fries were undercooked. This was our second attempt, and it wasn't very convincing.

An absolute delight! The Adana kebab here is simply divine – perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled over charcoal, just as it should be. The side dishes like rice, bulgur, and fresh onion salad round out the taste experience wonderfully. You can taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite. If you want authentic Turkish food, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

I'm sorry to say that my visit to the restaurant was very disappointing. Not only was the food cold and seemed old, but the service also left something to be desired. I hope the restaurant fixes these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.

Food was not as stated on the menu. We went as a family. I ordered a Lahmacun menu. According to the menu, lahmacun and a salad should be served twice. I only received one lahmacun which was cut in half!! When asked, they said it was correct. After all, the Lahmacun is big! The dough was still raw. The waiter was called, super unfriendly, no insight. He reluctantly took the record with him. It wasn't until my family had finished eating that I received a new one. What can I say, disgusting. I've never eaten anything so miserable and bad. Some of the meat was still raw and simply inedible!! The salad was just wilted lettuce leaves, no oil or sauce. Very unfriendly. Not even tea would be served or insight would be shown. Never again!!!

The restaurant is very close to the train station, which is super convenient when you're on the go. It's really nicely decorated inside - modern, but still cozy. The service was top: friendly, attentive and quick. The food definitely didn’t disappoint either – fresh, tasty and authentic. I found it particularly positive that there is a prayer room - this is rare and very attentive. The toilets were also clean and well maintained. All in all, a clear recommendation!

I've been to Koz Adana in Wandsbek several times now and I'm absolutely thrilled every time! The food is incredibly tasty, freshly prepared and presented with great attention to detail. The Adana skewers are particularly recommended – perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The service is also top: friendly, attentive and always with a smile. The ambience is also very pleasant – modern, but still cozy.

Köz Adana – Authentic & warm I was recently at Köz Adana and absolutely loved it. The food was excellent - the mixed grill plate in particular was a highlight: juicy, spicy and super fresh. The service was great! Waiter Edo was extremely friendly, attentive and always had a smile on his face. He gave us great advice and made the evening even more pleasant. Conclusion: Delicious food, great atmosphere and service that will be remembered. I'll definitely be back!
