Real snack love, The Grill-Kate in Lurup Sometimes all you need is no frills, just honest food, a warm smile and a place where you immediately feel at home. That's exactly what Grill-Kate in Lurup is. We had Fritz-Kola, crispy fries, a really good currywurst and half a chicken, all delicious, freshly prepared and with that certain something that you won't find in chain stores. The service? Warm, familiar, almost like a mother's - you can tell that there is someone with passion behind the counter. Everything was clean, the atmosphere was rustic and down-to-earth, exactly how you would want a classic Hamburg snack bar. The prices are fair, the offering is solid and honest. There are hardly any shops like this left in the west of Hamburg - a real original with heart. Anyone who loves good snack food, appreciates real hospitality and longs for a piece of authentic neighborhood culture should definitely stop by here. A favorite place that you could only wish for

The hotel room is very modern and stylishly furnished, but has no air conditioning, which didn't bother us. Room is clean and has a balcony and a refrigerator. Check in was quick and easy. There are various supermarkets and a savings bank nearby. I can't say anything about breakfast as we didn't try it. The location is a bit out of the way so it takes 30-45 minutes to get to the city center. So our conclusion: Great hotel and would come again and again. And good price-performance ratio.

Food is fine, delivery is a disaster. When I asked about it after 75 minutes, I was insulted on the phone. That's unprofessional. We won't order here again.

Anyone who hasn't experienced Franco Caramba and his team has really missed something. A real work of art and culinary fireworks that are set off here every evening. Very high quality goods, attentive service and such a pleasant atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. Spanish guitar music and songs live ensure a good atmosphere and round off a perfect evening in Westminster.
