The Oxford is by far the best pub I've ever visited! That's why we keep coming back. Everything just fits together here. Be it the super cozy atmosphere, the friendly service, or the delicious food/drinks at an unbeatable price-performance ratio. We can definitely warmly recommend the "Ox"! Edit: After more than three years (Corona), we were back at the Oxford with friends on December 10, 2022, and realized that absolutely nothing has changed! 🤗🎉 We actually just wanted a drink, but then got stuck and ended up having dinner. Additional information: We ended up back at the "Ox" for dinner with the group on another city trip on May 11, 2024. This time in perfect weather, outside on the cozy beer tables. The food and the excellent service have maintained their high standards without becoming more expensive. We can still highly recommend the "Ox"! Everything is still absolutely top-notch, and the Italian Burger was once again incredibly delicious. 👍 We came here again for dinner on June 7, 2025. This time we had another delicious cherry porter (we haven't had it anywhere else) and a super tasty farmer's burger. 🍔 Fortunately, everything has stayed the same. 👍

The Oxford Pub impresses with good food and a wide selection of drinks at fair prices. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Especially in summer, the large outdoor area is a real plus, offering plenty of space to linger. The burgers are highly recommended. A pleasant place for relaxed evenings in good company.

The service is really friendly, always smiling, and in a great mood! The food comes in generous portions, and you'll definitely be full. Great atmosphere and lots of customers. Another thing I noticed is that the waiters are always on the lookout for people who might need something. I'm very satisfied!

Very Busy and a Walk from my Hotel, But Worth it Very Busy , 🍔 Everywhere, Young Customer Base but was made to feel Welcome. Staff Friendly and Spoke English which was Nice, Tried a Spicy Currywurst and Pomme frites, It was Spicy but Very Good, Weizen Beer was Good.

Good value for money, especially the hamburger is worth the money. But my favorite is the chicken salad and definitely red berry cider to drink with it. It couldn't be better on a beautiful summer evening.

When selecting staff, management should take a closer look at whether the person hired is suitable for the job. The service staff is not only cheeky and indecent but also expresses xenophobia. We had this unpleasant experience as a family last night. A female waiter loudly placed our plates on the table and made a very unfriendly comment. When I asked her in a friendly manner about her behavior while paying, she insisted on her rights. In her opinion, we as customers did not say “thank you” to her, which was not true. She shifted her anger onto the children, then insulted us with a xenophobic statement based on her false assumption and refused to continue paying. The male service worker, to whom I had to continue paying and commenting on his colleague's behavior, just laughed at us in front of customers. Very unpleasant and borderline.

The burgers are very good, the side dishes are far too plentiful. The beer menu is great and sorted by country. Price-performance is fair. The atmosphere is very cozy, but unfortunately everything was full of football fans and it was so loud that it was difficult for us to have a conversation. We'll come back if the KSC doesn't play.

Small burgers of poor quality, very overpriced and not worth the price at all, staff rude when I complained whether it was a children's burger, but it was the standard size. If you have a lot of money and want to let your children eat something, this is the right place for you, regardless of the quality of the food. The store is not for adults with the children's portions, it is also very loud and the taste is not good either.

The place is really nice and has charm, and the beer selection is immaculate. However, twice now we have ordered vegetarian burgers and received lukewarm burgers and cold fries. The food arrived very quickly however I will stop ordering as each time it’s been cold.

Oxford is located directly on Fasanenplatz. The atmosphere is appropriate and the service is friendly and good. Food and drinks taste good and are priced well.

Best Student-Bar in Karlsruhe. Close to the city center en at the same time accesible. The food was quite okay and the beer was quite nice. For People Who don't like beer there are other options, but I recomend this Beer they do with Applejuice. Really an amazing mood inside and good music. We'll come again.

You can find many arts of beer here. Young people mostly visit , service is fast and good. Nice place to be in Karlsruhe.

The vegetarian and vegan burgers are topped with great ingredients and taste really great!

They have an amazing staff, especially one of the waiters was very friendly and patient (something which is really missing in other restaurants). I loved the large portions of the food like you would literally feel stuffed if you went empty stomach haha, worth the money! They have a good selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers as well as add-ons. I ordered the Pumpkin-Chia seeds patty burger and potato wedges with BBQ dip as a side dish. They were smart enough not to give me any mayonnaise (because it’s not vegan), and instead gave me an extra packet of ketchup which I really appreciate! The music was louder than my liking but hey - it’s a pub after all! One must definitely try food here!

Great place for beer lovers. Thanks to the large selection of beers from all over the world, every taste is catered for. Great recommendation for people who like to try new types of beer that aren't available everywhere and want to have a nice evening with friends. The food goes well with the ambience, the portions are great and the price is absolutely reasonable. The waitresses are polite and courteous. Orders are taken quickly and waiting times are short. So everything is perfect👍🏼 Gladly more often!

Deserves far more than 5 stars. I come here to eat at least once every week. The food is very tasty and the prices are unbeatable. I can particularly recommend the ham noodles, the BBQ burger and classics like schnitzel. Staff very friendly!

Good food, my vegan cheeseburger tasted like a normal burger. But it was a bit small. Prices normal. Inside looks cool. Very clean toilet. There's enough space outside. Overall we thought it was pretty good. We reserved for 10, only 4 came but there were no problems
