DeliBurgers in Karlsruhe

The restaurant was recommended by a relative who used to live in Karlsruhe, but the drive from southern Bavaria was worth it! Delicious burgers with homemade sauces and fries—you can even watch them being made. Fries are available for refills with the menus, so nothing goes to waste! The deli burger was too salty for me personally, which was probably due to the bacon—I'd order it without next time. Otherwise, it's really great—a cheeseburger to die for! Unfortunately, it's a bit cramped, so it's not ideal for sitting for long—but it's perfectly adequate for a quick and good dinner. We would come back!

The best burgers in town, by far!

It is a small restaurant where people usually share tables, and there’s often a line — but it moves quickly since most people leave once they finish eating. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. I had the cheeseburger; it wasn’t mind-blowing, but it was delicious. I liked that it wasn’t too fatty or heavy — no stomach aches after! I’d definitely come again.

Yes, my experience at Deli Burger was excellent. Everything was freshly prepared, the burgers were juicy, and the fries were wonderfully crispy. The sauces were also delicious. We've eaten there several times. A good choice for us to go out to eat somewhere, especially because of the selection of their ingredients. The quality is great. Price performance appropriate for it. You should know that you have little to no opportunity to sit there. At the weekend we ordered for the first time to be picked up for ourselves and our children. The 🍔 were great as always. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the quality of the fries. They were underground. Too bad. Anyway, see you next time

Deli Burgers is the ideal address for a short-term burger craving. However, guests must be prepared for the fact that they may have to expect a longer waiting time if they order and eat on site. It is advisable to order online in advance and then look for a nice place (especially in summer). Burgers taste very juicy and intense, fries have a limp and salty consistency (which I personally like) and taste very good with a dip like mayo.

Well It was one of the best I have ever had and def the best in Karlsruhe. In addition to the great taste, the people who work there are super nice and friendly. I always love a place with great customer service. such a pleasant experience to go there.

I come here easily every 2 months, and when friends from out of town come to visit I ALWAYS take them to Deli Burger first! The absolute best burgers I've ever eaten, and I've had some gigantic good burgers even in the USA (even in the higher price range). The big plus point is that everything here is made with a lot of love, and almost entirely locally. You can just taste it :) The shop itself could of course be a little bigger and more comfortable, it is already very small and therefore noisy, but you can get over that. The employees always seem to be well trained and the burger has consistently tasted just as good over the last few years.

Expensive, long waiting time, small place so you feel jammed up with people as soon as there are more then 10 people. Burger was good, menu was not satisfying, too small. I was still hungry:/

Very good citizen restaurant. Great special burgers, regional products and nice people. But it has its price. When there's a lot going on, it sometimes gets a bit hectic and the quality drops a bit, but I've never really been disappointed.

Ordered 4 burgers online to pick up. Had to wait another 20 minutes in the store until 2 burgers were ready. The other 2 burgers and the fries were already ready upon arrival and then sat in the bag for 20 minutes until the rest of the order was ready and cooled down completely. Unfortunately, this has happened to us several times recently. It's a shame, because the burgers themselves are really good. Given the prices, the burger shouldn't be given out cold to customers when they pick it up.

Small burger joint with delicious burgers and fries. Burger was ordered medium and I got it medium. The seats sell out quite quickly and the waiting time was a little longer than in other burger shops, but still reasonable. There is no toilet, but I have definitely never seen a sink in the middle of the store. All in all, thumbs up.

After numerous recommendations from friends, I was finally able to try DeliBurgers - and I was thrilled! The food (the vegetarian burger) together with the fries tasted heavenly, service was top and also tried very hard to create a good atmosphere. One of the best if not the best when it comes to burgers. Every burger has its own USP. The meat is simply the best. Absolute premium quality. The bun is extra class. Regionality and an excellent selection of products are very important here. Every special burger has something very special. And if you didn't get enough from the menu, you get a free helping of fries. I am and will remain a regular customer.

DeliBurgers is the best burger shop in the city 😍 A must for every Karlsruher! The ingredients for the burgers come from the region and are of high quality. The pictures on the walls even show the suppliers themselves (bakers, butchers, etc.). The taste of the burgers is incomparable and surpasses every burger shop in Karlsruhe! In the pictures you can see the bacon machine, a super juicy burger with bacon and cheese - my absolute favorite burger. The homemade iced teas (with or without sugar) are also an insider tip. Really very tasty 😊 The service is great. You can get a free refill of fries, which I don't know from any competitor. In terms of price, DeliBurgers is more expensive than comparable burger shops, but this is more than understandable given the quality and regional ingredients. There is a small deduction for the ambience, as the store has few seats, which are more functional. But this is secondary considering the quality of the burgers. My review ONLY refers to the vegetarian burger, the meat burgers seem to be very good. A burger shop that values ​​regionality and makes as much as possible in-house: I think that's a great idea! I'm absolutely willing to pay more, after all, you don't eat here every day. Now comes the big but: The veggie burger is just plain scary! According to the description, a "grain patty with vegetables", I had concerns about this. The grain patty seems to consist partly of spelled (?), which makes it very mushy and tough in consistency. The whole thing then seems to have been fried and completely soaked in fat. It was hardly seasoned at all, at least I couldn't taste anything. I remember these "grain patties" from the 90s, when there was next to nothing for vegetarians and it was very difficult to find good "meaty" recipes. I understand the Deli Burger approach that they want to make the patty themselves (a great idea and very commendable) and I'm also not too big a fan of really "crass" substitutes like Beyond Meat. But there are also solutions that lie in between. My wish would be a veggie burger that isn't fried and isn't sticky and mushy. More protein, I don't just want to have "grains" on my burger (you still have the bun with it). With more protein in the form of beans, peas, seitan etc it doesn't get as mushy (in my opinion). The onion relish, the roll, the mayo and the fries were very, very tasty! The large sink in the middle is a very fun and cool idea.

Normally good, but today there was plastic in the bun! For us, Deliburgers is a highlight that you treat yourself to every month. The expectations for quality are correspondingly high. Usually the quality is very good and the taste is unique. But today we were quite surprised. On the one hand, the patty of the cheeseburger was not noticeably seasoned, and on the other hand, and much more serious: there was a plastic fiber in the bun of the cheeseburger and in the patty of the vegetarian burger there was a slightly shorter, thin plastic fiber. Whether this is a product of resuming routine operations after the building's pipe burst, or some other cause, I would like to see the store return to its former glory. I hope the owner's focus remains on Deliburgers and hasn't shifted to the other projects. Deliburgers is the culinary highlight in Karlsruhe and should remain so. Update: I wrote to the restaurant via Instagram the same day and described the situation. They immediately apologized and offered me vouchers for two full meals.

I think it's really great that almost all of the ingredients are local and that everything states where it comes from. The buns are from baker X and the soybeans for the mayo are from farmer Y. Great! The lye bun is also a great idea and grilled vegetables always work anyway. Unfortunately, the burger was a bit salty overall and the taste of a vegan patty would have been a little better. So good that I sometimes regret having been recommended DeliBurgers by my friend, because since I've been eating burgers here - and I've been doing that for a few years - unfortunately every other burger loses out in the taste comparison for me. DeliBurgers also makes delicious fries and irresistible sauces. This makes DeliBurgers one of my absolute favorite stores ever. In my opinion, the DeliBurgers team simply understood a lot and, in conversations with family or friends, I often see them as an ideal example of "how to start/run a young, cool company", "how to live real team spirit", " What can fun at work look like", "how do you deal with customers", "how should marketing and sales be designed" or "how can I best use regional products in the catering industry?" For 17 euros I expect the burger to taste absolutely perfect. It was bland, tasted like nothing and you had to wait 30 minutes for it. I don't care who and how everything is regional, the price is too high and you're not full. Then it's better to have a pizza next door or to the Five Boys, where you get twice as much for the same money.

I had the "deliburger menu" at about 22€. 1 the burger itself was quite good. 2 the fries were not. (Just a few hard crisp fries with their skin, not soft inside+crunchy outside) 3 the sauces (x2) were ok.. BUT: 1 There's NO RESTROOMS for customers. 2 there are 2 standing tables. Not deli... Not recommended. Sorry.

The BEST BURGER IN GERMANY! You have to taste this burger! I came across this shop by chance. Nice ambience, great smell when you enter. The burgers there are the best I've ever eaten, juicy meat, sauces are super tasty, only fresh ingredients. The burger buns are super fluffy and delicious. In the store itself there are pictures of the respective suppliers from the region, such as the baker who makes the rolls, the farmer who delivers fresh potatoes and vegetables, and the butcher next door. Great concept to consume controlled meat consumption only from local farms and good conditions. The fries are great, crispy and nice and soft and tasty on the inside. The fries come in smaller portions and you can order one for free so you don't have to throw away too many fries. The homemade iced tea is also wonderful, not too sweet and made from simple ingredients without any frills. Overall, my absolute favorite shop that I recommend to every lover of good, quality food! PS: there's even a sink in the store itself to wash your dirty hands from eating burgers, GREAT!

Unfortunately the burger wasn't mine at all - the patty wasn't seasoned. I was missing sauce on the burger and there was very little in the fries and were air dry pieces instead of having real fries. The drink was too sour for me. I had an iced tea and the shop was very, very small. I didn't like the atmosphere at all and there were no toilets. Unfortunately I wasn't happy at all. Unfortunately the price performance isn't right either. A menu starts from €20 and goes up to €25.

While this story isn't new, a friend recommended I share it. My husband and I visited this place in March 2023. At that time I was heavily pregnant and already had my hospital bag with me. After I said, “You could easily have a baby after a burger like that,” we drove straight to the hospital because I was going into labor. Our daughter was born two days later. Now my heart melts every time I think of that phrase. And the burger was really incredibly tasty 😋

From the many delighted reviews you can tell that Germans have no idea about burgers. The pattie is a tasteless meat KLOPS (that's exactly why other burgers have 2 or 3 thin ones instead of one that's way too thick) and no, I personally stay away from glutamate and the like, it's really tasteless... And the rest just tastes like butter, no It's surprising if even the packaging is dripping with it. In the USA there would be exactly 0 customers in the store.
