We really like this place, but it seems a bit dingy now. The (women's) toilets are in a dilapidated state, it is unhygienic and smells extremely. Forms a strong contrast to the delicious food.

We found it delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. We think the price performance is very fair. We'll definitely be back.

Burgers were cold and fries were dried out. I think 13 euros is a very steep price for a burger without fries. Generally very overpriced.

I've eaten here a few times and every time it's delicious and extremely filling. I recommend the “Full-bodied” beef burger with a brioche bun. The service is always very friendly and I didn't have to wait long for the order to be taken and the food to be served. The prices are all great for the quality you get. I just think the prices for the desserts are a little too high. The ambience is simply atmospheric and beautiful. I'd love to come back! :)

The food was good. The cleanliness of the tables and seats leaves a lot to be desired.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, the food is average and slightly seasoned, the salad comes with almost no dressing. But what bothered us the most was the really cold and uncomfortable room temperature! Despite the sweater, we were really cold and skipped dessert. We definitely won't be coming back!

Very beautiful restaurant with nice food but the service was tragic.. we entered a completely empty restaurant and they made us wait for a long time before they put us at the worst table in a corner on a stool.. while we were eating and after we left the restaurant never filled up even though they told us that everything was booked.. unfortunately the rudeness of the staff does not allow me to give you more than one star.

I don’t suggest tourists and people that don’t speak Germany Language to visit that place the bartender was so Rude ! The service was too slow… honestly the food wasn’t bad but I received after 1 hour !!!

Food was solid but nothing earth-shattering. Any decent American diner can compete. Unfortunately the burgers were only lukewarm but tasted okay. For the rather high price, the burgers (one pattie) could be a little bigger. Side dishes and sauces are solid. Service was an absolute disaster. Despite having a reservation, we had to stand around stupidly in the hallway for 15 minutes, even though there were obviously more than enough seats available. In general, the service took a very long time (meal after about 1 1/4 hours, total visit time was about 1 3/4 hours without dessert) in the end we had to pay at the counter due to lack of time (where the waiter completely lost track and first noticed that he billed us for the wrong table). This was my second visit to Hans im Glück so far and unfortunately I still cannot understand why this restaurant is so popular. It was definitely my last visit.

The food was very tasty, but we had to wait almost an hour for it. The staff was very friendly, but for the long waiting time there are only 3 stars. I also found the music a bit too loud, overall the volume level is very high when the place is full. I found the music more suitable for dancing in a club than for eating in a restaurant.

For us it was a pleasant visit to the restaurant. We were generally happy with everything and can't complain about anything. Unfortunately, the overall situation in the catering industry is also reflected here. Too many guests, almost each of them individual and the most important guest in the world. There was little sense of gratitude from the visitors towards the very hard-working and heavily burdened staff. The food came very quickly despite the well-filled restaurant, and the staff was very helpful and friendly despite the hectic pace of the guests. It's nice that there are still people who like to host others.

Great restaurant, the modular principle when ordering burgers offers a lot of options and there should be something for everyone

Have reserved for 9 people. We were first turned away to wait, later asked to sit at a table and then a separate waiter then asked us stupid questions about why we were sitting. The order was a complete mess. A waiter even dared to open the burger with his hand to see which burger was ordered. The order was basically incomplete for over half an hour, so most of us were finished by the time the rest of us got something to eat. The food went reasonably well. Definitely not the standard for Hans im Glück as I had eaten at better HiG locations. Some of the staff don't understand how to treat customers properly. It's understandable that there's a lot going on at this time, but the fact that you're stressing about treating customers incorrectly is unprofessional!

When ordering via cell phone, the food came extremely quickly. Great atmosphere. 10/10 recommendation

The decoration is very nice. The drinks were good. The ordering and paying process was very efficient although the waiter forgot to ask us for bread preferences or how we would like our burgers cooked. The resulting two classic burgers with cheese we ordered were overcooked, dry, with unmelted cheese and too cold. The presentation for the burgers and fries was quite underwhelming. We won’t return.

We were there on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. and had reserved. There was a long queue at the entrance and when we had fought our way through, we still had to wait 5-10 minutes for our table. It was incredibly crowded and loud and therefore not comfortable or possible for a relaxed meal or conversation. Our waitress tried hard (technical problems with the orderman) and made the best of it and except for a veggie burger (the names of the burgers are very similar and probably just misunderstood given the volume), but after consultation it came within 5 minutes (but without cheese this time which was specially ordered). I have to say it tasted better there and the fries were crispier. It will probably be my last visit there for a long time.

The taste of the food (burger) was not convincing. The tables are super small, you can just squeeze in. There were only two types of beer. All in all, there are much better restaurants where you can eat.

I was in the branch again yesterday. I just sat down, picked up the menu and asked the waitress what I wanted to eat. I asked for time. Less than two minutes later he stood there again and asked. That was annoying. It used to be delicious and fresh, but yesterday it was a complete disaster. Fries, initially cold...the "fresh ones" arrived just under 2 minutes later and tasted like they came from the microwave. Soggy, dry...Burger King has better ones!!!! Also burnt areas. There was almost nothing in the bowl. The small side salad was completely soggy and collapsed. There was also no dressing. This portin was also extremely little. Just a small handful. My burger...Gsell...was cold, with broken cheese on it. There was more crushed ice in the non-alcoholic cocktail than anything else. 31 euros for the disaster... I won't visit the restaurant again in the future. The paper and hygiene bins in the women's toilet were overflowing. I think with something like that, the manager should be called in and the entire food should be returned.

After the condition asked us to scan the QR code at the table and place our order using it, we did so. The food and drinks came quickly, but from then on it was impossible to get a condition. We had the lunch menu that included a hot drink at the end that we never got. We asked for service staff via the ordering app, and after 10 minutes we asked them to pay by card. After we couldn't get any service via the app 4 times, we spoke to someone who was standing right next to us and when she said "we'd like to pay please" all we got was an annoyed look and ignorance. After we waited 45 minutes and it was only possible to pay via the app if you HAD to tip, I went to the counter to pay.

On a Thursday evening around 8:30 p.m., despite there being free tables, we had to wait at the entrance until someone assigned us a seat. Were ignored for 10 minutes, then we left. You definitely have to bring time!

It was a very nice evening. Good food very nice staff.

48.50 for burger fries Cola is really too much. Unfortunately, the questions about “lunch + 9.90” were answered incorrectly.

Ordering online is quick and easy. Unfortunately it still took 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive and another 15 for the food to arrive with the store half full. Only half of the order came, we had to ask for the other half. There were hardly any service staff to be seen anyway, we hope that it is just due to the current wave of illness, as we have always been very satisfied on our last visits.

After ordering for 5 people there was usually a bit of a wait. After about 10/15 minutes, 4 out of 5 orders were there except mine. After more than 30 minutes my order arrived but on the wrong roll. I also had to wait a long time for the next employee to get the idea that someone wanted to say something. After I explained what was wrong, the female waiter looked confused, which is understandable, and brought it back to the kitchen. After another 5 minutes it came back and both the burger and the fries were ice cold. My drink with ice was warmer than the food. The best part of the whole thing was really the drink. Since I have already eaten in some other Hans im unfortunate restaurants, I thought to myself whether it was agreed to serve the food at least half cold and after 5 minutes it would be completely cold. You weren't even sitting at the door. It was very disappointing to leave any money there at all. I wouldn't go back to the restaurant for a long time. A small thank you goes to the one female waitress who swapped the food for me.

Our order was taken quickly and friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food to be ready. Cutlery wasn't replenished, it took a while to get some. We would have liked to order espresso and dessert after the main course. Despite several attempts to catch a service person, we were ignored or overlooked. It's a shame, you don't generate any sales that way. The ambience is well-intentioned, but uncomfortable due to the lack of backrests. The toilet was a disaster. It smelled extremely, paper was empty. Despite the delicious food, we will not come back due to the poor service.

Burgers were very good. Unfortunately, 2 of 9 burgers came differently than ordered, fries were lukewarm and no longer crispy. Service staff was nice, but had forgotten cutlery and napkins. Very nice ambience, but very loud. There were 9 of us and we could only talk to the people sitting next to us.

The restaurant really looks great. Unfortunately the burgers weren't worth the money. I was really disappointed with the taste and appearance of the burgers. No amount of innovative app ordering system can help. Every MD burger is more appealing. Unfortunately we had to wait forever for our order. Unfortunately, what came next was already cold.

Overpriced and service very slow. Our fries were not served despite repeated requests. Then 25 minutes after we got our burger we finally got the cold (!) fries.

Excellent address, we have already been there twice. The burgers are delicious, and the fries tasty! Wide choice of sauces at the table. The decor of the restaurant is very nice too.

Even though it was very full, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The staff were always friendly and I have to say they were really busy.

The food was, as always, delicious. The ambience is also great at first glance, but only at first! Seldom seen so much dirt and leftover food under the table, even though we were there at 5:15 p.m. The toilets smelled disgusting and were anything but clean. There was trash in the men's room, the toilet paper was empty and the cobwebs had their own street names! A great experience with a small child… The hybrid ordering system using a QR code is great. According to the system, the payment did not work, but money was debited. We will definitely give this branch another chance and hope to be able to change the rating.

We were there in the afternoon during the week, there was little going on, the food was warm and delicious. However, I found the waiting time a bit too long for the few customers.

Strange place. I went there with a colleague. Small tables and seats that are difficult to be comfortable on. The food they offer is a mix of traditional, oriental and healthy. It's not clear. The service was a little slow and not very friendly.

First things first: the food was delicious, the service staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long. What bothered us a bit was that each table was planned very small and you were afraid of elbowing the person behind you. In addition, there were leftovers from the previous guests on our table. Asking the waitress is somewhat dependent on the type and is therefore not for us. This leads us to feel under pressure and to have to respond immediately, which leads us to be tempted to order things without informing ourselves about the additional costs. If you know what you want and like delicious (especially) vegan citizens and don't mind a little tighter seating, this is the place for you 😊

Die Karte ist ein Betrug. Hatte das Menü für 9,90€. Da ist der Burger eigentlich mit dabei. So steht es zumindest geschrieben + ein Heissgetränk oder ein Bier. Die Bedienung fragte mich welchen Burger ich wolle. Ich nahm den mit Käse und Speck für 12.90€. Hmmm... kostet dann das Menü 12.90€??? Hatte gegessen und wollte bezahlen, aber anstatt den 9,90 bzw 12.90 hatte ich eine Rechnung von 27.70€. Ich musste den Burger für 12.90 zu den 9.90 mit dazu bezahlen und für das Bier (ein Kräusenbier) musste ich obendrauf auch noch 1€ bezahlen, weil ich ein 0, 5Liter und nicht die 0,3Liter Bier hatte. Da wurde ich aber nicht einmal gefragt, ob ich die 0,5 haben möchte. Es wurde mir einfach zu meinem Menü mit dazu gestellt. Wenn ihr Burger essen wollt, dann lieber wo anders

Excellent juicy and tasteful burger, friendly staff, good beer. All you need. And very fast service too! It was the only crowded place on a rainy monday evening. That means it's good.

Achtung Kostenfalle !!! In der Karte wird mit einem Burger Menü zum "normalen" Preis geworben. Die Bedienung hat uns einige Punkte abgefragt OHNE zu erwähnen, dass alles extra kostet. Ergebnis 75,-€ für zwei Burger, Beilage und jeweils einem Getränk. Zusätzlich kam nur einer von zwei bestellten Salaten und dieser ohne Dressing. Wir mussten bei der Rechnung mit einem Foto beweisen, dass wir nur einen Salat erhalten haben. Geschmacklich nur Durchschnitt

Ich möchte vorausschicken, dass wir gingen, ohne etwas gegessen oder getrunken zu haben. Ein Lokal, in dem auf allen Tischen Reserviertschilder stehen ist ja von vornherein etwas dubios . Nur die Freundlichkeit der Servicekräfte bewog uns, dennoch Platz zu nehmen. An einem Platz mit Reserviertschild;). Lange ( 15 Minuten) warteten wir auf eine Bedienung, die uns dann freundlich deutlich machte, dass wir die Karte nicht wirklich verstanden hatten. Nachdem uns klar wurde, dass uns ein einfacher Burger mit Pommes und kleinem Kaltgetränk soviel kosten würde, wie in anderen Restaurants ein Fleischgericht mit Beilage und Salat, zogen wir es vor, zu gehen.

There would be more lunch menu than dinner menu. Cocktails are great...But clearly not that cheap and the seating is quite cramped, the typical birch ambience is an eye-catcher but the benches are not that comfortable

Ich habe einen Burger "Vollmundig" als Menü, mit Frits und Cola + Espresso bestellt. Bekommen habe ich den Burger mit zwei Pattys, was, ehrlich gesagt, mir fast zu viel war. Auf der Karte war kein Hinweis, dass der Burger mit zwei Pattys kommt. Der Höhepunkt war, dass ich 3,90€ extra für den zweiten Patty bezahlen musste!!! Ich fühlte mich betrogen.

Update 4/28/24 We were satisfied for years, so we happily returned here. The joy was quickly dampened after looking at the prices... but oh well... At first a drink wasn't brought. We had to ask twice before it came. The food was delivered incorrectly. That would be complained about. The subsequent delivery came and never came. We had to ask again. There is a nugget burger and a vegan nugget burger. But be careful, the nuggets on both burgers are vegan. It's in the fine print, but I find the burger names a bit misleading in this case. What is a drawback for me is the fact that the portions of the side fries are different sizes - my daughter had twice as many fries as my husband. In the same way, people asked what dip they would like for the fries as if the dip was included. It wasn't mentioned that this costs €2.50 extra. Other than that, it's a very small portion for the price. You feel a bit ripped off. Unfortunately the burgers were only lukewarm. Positively compared to my original review: there is now a children's menu -------- 2018 We really like going there because we like the atmosphere and the food is very good. The only small negative point is that this concept has nothing planned for children.

Das Essen schmeckt super, aber jedes Mal, wenn ich herkomme, bin ich wieder überrascht, wie unaufmerksam die Kellner sind und wie oft sie an meinem Tisch mit aufgeräumtem Teller und leerem Glas vorbeilaufen, ohne hinzuschauen. Hab bestimmt 15 Minuten warten müssen, um die Aufmerksamkeit der Kellner zu bekommen und bezahlen zu können. Wie jedes Mal.

The burger selection is okay. The children's menu with the children's cocktail is ok in terms of price/performance ratio, but otherwise I think the prices are a bit exaggerated. The western burger tasted good, but was only lukewarm when it was served. The ambience is nice, but the noise level in the restaurant is relatively high. The staff is overly friendly, but nice. In any case, this burger place is overall better than these American chains.

Hans im Glück left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the positive: The service was really a bright spot. Super friendly, attentive and always with a smile on his face, even when the place is busy. This creates a pleasant atmosphere and almost makes you forget the waiting time. Nearly. The ambience is typical of Hans im Glück – modern, with lots of wood and greenery, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. It's beautifully designed, but somehow you get the feeling that you've already seen this style in every other Hans im Glück. A little more individuality would be nice. Now to the crux of the matter: the burgers. They're okay, but honestly, I was hoping for more. There's a lot to choose from, which is great, but they didn't blow me away in terms of taste. They're good, no question, but given the prices you somehow expect a taste experience that doesn't happen. The side dishes, like fries, are average - nothing you couldn't make at home in the oven. In summary, the friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere are definitely plus points. However, if you're looking for a truly outstanding burger experience, you might find better options in the city.

First time visiting and the burger was one of the best I have ever eaten..fantastic food! The environment was great, we popped in several more evenings for cocktails. Highly recommended.

As always, very tasty, the burgers are juicy, the different variations are successful (especially avocado). This time I had a bowl: large portion, fresh and well seasoned. Can be highly recommended. Unfortunately, it's just not that comfortable to sit on, but that's probably a matter of taste. I prefer a backrest, and you don't have that on a bench. I also sat “back to back” with a gentleman from the next table. Not for everyone either.

We were there for the first time on Sunday. Ambience: The ambience is fine so far. The decor is modern and clean, and there is enough space between tables. However, it is a bit disturbing that you are sitting on a bench back to back with other people. Food: The food was lukewarm, which was a shame. The taste was okay, but I expected more for the price. Service: Service was friendly but a bit disorganized. A different server kept coming to the table, which was a bit confusing. Price-performance: The prices are a bit too high for the quality offered. Conclusion: I would not recommend the restaurant. There are better restaurants in the area that offer better value for money. Suggestions for improvement: The food should be served warmer. The service should be better organized. The prices should be reduced slightly.

The decoration is original and the musical and lighting ambiance invites you to relax. The service is remarkable: fast and efficient, and above all, friendly staff with a smile. Known as a burger bar for young people in Karlruhe, this restaurant impresses with its relatively intimate atmosphere; Bamboo pillars placed throughout the room create a privacy screen from other visitors and keep the sound low to a certain extent. The menu boasts great diversity for some types of eating preferences and even diets. If you want to eat vegetarian or even gluten-free, you will find options that make that possible. For example, you can choose the “Without Burger” option or choose between various meatless burgers from an explicitly vegetarian menu. There is also a cocktail menu with which you can sweeten your evening at a leisurely pace. The waitresses were friendly and, in some cases, particularly competent and were able to give individual tips for almost every burger and combination as to what tasted together, making the selection of the burger a little easier. Not quite as cheap as McDonalds, Hans im Glück is superior in terms of quality and is perfect for a relaxed evening with friends, to just sit together and see what the evening brings ;)

Very cramped seating. There is also little space at the table. Especially difficult with children. Food portions have become shockingly small for a lot of money. Bowl of fries was once full. Now you get half a bowl. It's a shame, it used to be better
