Ovest in Berlin

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend im Q’VEST. Das moderne, stilvolle Ambiente lädt sofort zum Wohlfühlen ein. Der Service war ausgesprochen aufmerksam und freundlich, und das Essen war einfach hervorragend. Nach dem Essen sind wir sogar noch für ein weiteres Glas Wein geblieben, weil wir die Atmosphäre so genossen haben. Ein tolles Restaurant, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen und sicher wieder besuchen werden!

Sedani Qvest war UNGLAUBLICH!! Ich hatte 6 Leute zu besuch, und wir haben es wirklich genossen! Der Kellner war eine Bereicherung für den Abend, die Cocktails haben super geschmeckt! Caramellino's waren aufs Haus, ein Likör den man Probiert haben muss!! Direkt weitere Runden bestellt. Ein Super um den Abend entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Mich seht ihr bald wieder.

Parmigiana sieht in ihrer ofenfesten Form wunderschön aus, ist aber in Wirklichkeit nur Soße und glühend heiß. Am Gaumen ist sie lauwarm und weckt nur eine vage Sehnsucht nach Parmigiana. Die Pasta alla Norma mit ihren fast schon gekochten Auberginenstückchen und dem kaum wahrnehmbaren Ricotta ist ebenfalls nicht zu schmecken. Daher gibt es keinen Grund, etwas anderes zu bestellen. Das Lokal ist sehr angenehm, der Service trotz der wenigen Gäste etwas langsam, und angesichts der großen Mengen an Speisen, die serviert werden, ist die Wartezeit nicht unbedingt ein Garant für Qualität. Die Bedienung im Speisesaal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und pünktlich.

Ich schreibe wirklich selten schlechte Rezensionen, aber hier muss man fast schon eine kleine Warnung aussprechen. Wir waren zu viert essen und drei Hauptgerichte wurden nicht aufgegessen beziehungsweise gingen zurück — das passiert mir eigentlich nie. Besonders enttäuschend war die Hummerpasta. Das Bild suggeriert etwas völlig anderes, tatsächlich war der halbe Hummer (Standart TK Gastro Hummer, wahrscheinlich kanada) bereits ausgelöst und zu einer eher breiartigen Masse verarbeitet. Ein wenig trockenes Scherenfleisch war zwar vorhanden, aber insgesamt hatte das Gericht mit einer hochwertigen Hummerpasta zu diesem preis leider wenig zu tun. Das Entrecôte war zäh, die dazu servierte Tomatenpasta leider komplett nichtssagend. Bei der Scampi-Pasta wurden immerhin die Scampis gegessen — wobei das auch nicht besonders viele waren — die Pasta selbst blieb allerdings stehen. Als kleine „Entschädigung“ gab es einen Teller Wassermelone, der eher traurig wirkte als versöhnlich. Wirklich schade war auch, dass unser durchaus ruhiges und konstruktives Gespräch mit der Restaurantleitung auf wenig Verständnis gestoßen ist. Der Hinweis, dass ja alle anderen Gäste zufrieden seien, hilft einem in so einem Moment leider auch nicht weiter. Der Wein war gut — wobei wir am Tisch scherzhaft festgestellt haben, dass das vermutlich der einzige Teil des Abends war, da das Restaurant den nicht selbst produziert. Besonders enttäuschend ist das Ganze deshalb, weil wir hier vor einigen Jahren tatsächlich einmal ausgezeichnet gegessen haben: tolle Küche, schneller und humorvoller Service, richtig angenehme Atmosphäre. Davon war diesmal leider kaum noch etwas übrig. Und wenn man auf dem Weg dorthin an den vielen wirklich guten Italienern rund um den Ku’damm vorbeiläuft — alle voll, kaum ein Platz zu bekommen — dann wirkt ein halbleeres Restaurant leider auch nicht wie ein Zufall. Insgesamt für das Gebotene deutlich zu teuer. Ich sage selten „schade ums Geld“ — hier leider schon.

Italienisches Restaurant in Berlin mit solidem Ambiente und angenehmen Sitzplätzen im Außenbereich. Das Essen war in Ordnung, konnte geschmacklich aber nicht besonders herausstechen. Der Service war leider nicht besonders freundlich und wirkte teilweise etwas distanziert, was den Gesamteindruck etwas getrübt hat. Insgesamt okay, aber mit Luft nach oben.

Was für ein schönes, stylisches, italienisches Restaurant. Die Karte ist nicht sehr groß, das Essen allerdings sehr gut. Wir waren am späten Nachmittag da, hatten zwar reserviert, aber es war noch wenig los in dem Restaurant. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambient hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich sicher wiederkommen werde.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Es war sehr voll an einem Freitagabend, von daher war es manchmal schwer sie zu erreichen. Essen war super lecker und es wurde auch etwas veganes gezaubert.

Toller Ort in super Lage direkt am Ku’damm! Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und das Essen wirklich köstlich. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis! Mein Freund hatte uns am Valentinstag einen Tisch zum Abendessen reserviert. Die Dekoration war dem Anlass entsprechend besonders, es gab Live-Musik und die Möglichkeit, ein spezielles Valentinstagsmenü zu wählen. Ich aß Carpaccio und die berühmten Trüffelpasta mit einem Cocktail. Alles war köstlich und die Portionen waren großzügig. Das Ambiente war zurückhaltend, elegant und romantisch. Der Service war hervorragend, mit typisch italienischen Kellnern, die einen eher traditionell-formellen Servicestil pflegten. Definitiv ein perfekter Ort für ein besonderes Abendessen wie dieses!

Es war eines der besten italienischen Restaurants der Stadt. Das Essen war köstlich, das Personal freundlich und die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Parkplätze waren leicht zu finden, da es viele kostenlose Plätze gab. Das Restaurant selbst war sehr schön und eignet sich gut für ein Date oder einen romantischen Abend.

Meine Trüffel Bandnudeln wurden in zwei Portionen aufgeteilt, was bereits irritierend war. Die erste Portion war kalt, sehr klein und bröckelig. Zudem war der Trüffel derart dominant, dass die Nudeln ausschließlich danach schmeckten. Die Nudeln waren nicht einmal al dente. Insgesamt war das Gericht eine Zumutung. Die zweite Portion, die sogar noch kleiner ausfiel als die erste, war geschmacklich zwar akzeptabel, erinnerte jedoch mehr an Parmesan als an Trüffel und entsprach ebenfalls nicht dem, was man von einem Gericht dieser Preisklasse erwarten darf. Der Service verschärfte den negativen Eindruck zusätzlich. Der Kellner reagierte unfreundlich und uneinsichtig auf die Kritik. Auf die Nachfrage, ob alles in Ordnung sei, äußerte ich vorsichtig, dass die Portion sehr klein gewesen sei. Darauf folgten lediglich mürrische Antworten und eine halbherzige Wiedergutmachung. Insgesamt wirkte alles lieblos serviert und zubereitet, ohne Aufmerksamkeit für Details oder den Gast. Für ein Restaurant mit diesem Anspruch und Preisniveau war der Besuch eine große Enttäuschung.

Wer den authentischen Geschmack der italienischen Küche erleben möchte, dem kann ich dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist wunderschön gestaltet, sauber und bietet ein hohes Qualitätsniveau.

We had reserved a table for eight people for today. However, when we arrived at the agreed time, we found the doors locked. No one was there, and we had received no prior notification whatsoever – neither by email nor phone, nor any other form of cancellation. Reliability is especially important when making a reservation for a group. A brief message would have been sufficient to save us a lot of trouble and inconvenience. It's a real shame, as we were looking forward to our visit. In the future, I would like to see better communication and a more responsible approach to reservations.

I went to Q’vest with my girlfriend for dinner. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. I ordered truffle pasta, which was initially served cold. After I pointed this out to the waiter, the dish was brought again—this time warm, but with a soupy consistency that bore no resemblance to truffle pasta. The taste was so bad that I couldn't finish it. I brought this up again. The waiter asked if he should cancel the pasta, which I agreed to. As an apology, we were offered complimentary espresso and tiramisu, which I initially thought was a nice gesture. The disappointment was all the greater when we went to pay: Despite the cancellation, the pasta was still listed on the first bill. After I pointed this out, a new bill arrived—this one suddenly included the tiramisu, which had been explicitly offered as an apology. We paid for it but didn't want to argue any further. ... For a customer, this kind of experience is extremely frustrating: You receive an inedible dish, address the issue appropriately, forgo the meal altogether – and are still financially penalized in the end. This leaves a bad impression and destroys trust in the service and professionalism. It's a real shame, because situations like these determine whether someone returns or not.

We were here for the first time today, and certainly not the last. We enjoyed ourselves immensely from beginning to end. The service was attentive, warm, and unobtrusive, the food (soup, risotto, and pasta) was perfectly balanced, and the ambiance was inviting. A thoroughly enjoyable evening for us. The staff were extremely friendly and the interior design very appealing. Although the food was a bit cold, it still impressed with its excellent taste.

Die Portion Pasta mit Trüffel war sehr klein und war kaum gewürzt. Das Entrecôte hatte wohl eine Scampi Schale im Fleisch, wo man sich fragt, wie dies passieren kann. Dass bei den Preisen in der Küche so unsauber gearbeitet wird verwundert ein wenig. Naja, kann an für sich passieren. Als wir es angesprochen haben gab es für diesen Fauxpas aber keinerlei Entschädigung oder Preisnachlass.

Es war ein wunderschöner Abend, den ich im Ovest mal wieder verbracht habe. Schönes und leckeres Essen. Nette Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne!

The food didn’t taste good. Pizza was too salty and pasta too oily. Just not Italian at all. But the service was good.

After a long time, we stopped by again and had the Penne Sedani Ovest for lunch. The food was good, but the atmosphere was practically "zero" – since the place was practically empty, we weren't familiar with Ovest. The great atmosphere and the people used to be the restaurant's highlights. So, you can go or not.

Very cosy Italian place. I had a great evening with my family. thanks for the service. We had this beautiful oval formed table with Mediterranean tiles, which made the experience very pleasant for me.

From start to finish, our visit was simply perfect! The welcome was warm, the service extremely attentive, professional, and yet pleasantly relaxed. We immediately felt at home. The food was fantastic – perfectly flavorful, creatively and lovingly presented. The drinks were perfectly mixed and wonderfully rounded off the overall experience. The music perfectly matched the location. A huge compliment to the entire team – you rarely experience so much friendliness and expertise all at once. For us, this restaurant is now one of our absolute top addresses, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

In my opinion the restaurant has a nice vibe, but it’s overpriced. We were three people and none of us really liked the food. Most dishes had large chunks of ingredients, with too much onion and garlic in everything. On the bright side, the staff was friendly.

We had dinner there with friends. Honestly, the interior and the overall atmosphere are really beautiful. The location is also super convenient. However, the food quality seemed pretty average to us. Just regular pasta nothing special, no unique ingredients or interesting sauces. Very basic, like something you could easily make at home. Even the quality of the pasta itself was just okay. There wasn’t that “wow” factor at all. And another big thing - the service. We found it a bit… confusing. It felt like we weren’t really welcomed as guests. The waiters interacted in a strange way, and some of the food presentations were odd. There was some warmth in their attitude, but also a kind of tension that made it hard to relax. The vibe was cozy at first, but overall the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. I also feel like the prices are too high for the quality you get. One more thing: when we left in the evening, a group of teenagers started gathering there - they looked like high school seniors, drinking alcohol and behaving quite loudly. The music got very loud too, and it just didn’t feel comfortable anymore. So, if you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy evening - I wouldn’t really recommend this place.

What the hell happened here? It used to be known for great food and great service. Now: a completely run-down menu, service: friendly, attentive, and courteous, but incredibly slow. Unfortunately, this is clearly not enough for a high-class Italian restaurant; there are plenty of alternatives nearby. I'm happy to pay for the location, but then the rest has to be right. But it isn't (anymore). What a shame, and all the best.

Beautiful ambiance. The food was mixed. One entrecotte was burnt, a shame for such good meat. We wanted to toast a birthday with non-alcoholic sparkling wine, but it ran out by 7 p.m. A dessert that was on the menu and that we wanted wasn't available either, nor was the black tea. The waiter kept throwing around Italian words (ragazzi, grazie, the usual cheap mannerisms of Italian waiters in German restaurants), but if you spoke to him in perfect Italian, he would switch to German. The service clearly didn't match the upscale price level.

We stopped by Ovest without a reservation and were warmly welcomed with a fantastic table. From start to finish, the service was impeccable attentive, friendly, and professional. We started with the burrata, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful, followed by two delicious fresh pasta dishes that truly stood out. The ambiance is beautiful elegant yet inviting and made our evening even more special. I would absolutely come back again and again. Highly recommend!

The food is average and a bit overpriced. Despite the big birthday party, we were seated right next to the table - a bit uncomfortable as the company was very loud. With such a large party, you shouldn't allocate two tables next to each other but rather separate the area. Music was also very loud and service wasn't ideal.

Yesterday I went to another Italian restaurant on Schlüterstrasse and immediately regretted it... I've been coming to Ovest for years and haven't had a single bad experience. Food and service always top! Don't make the same mistake as me and try another Italian restaurant down the street. It's not worth it. Ovest does not disappoint ♥️

No complaints, just well-made Italian classics that hit the mark every time. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a great evening with good vibes, good people, and great food, this is it. Ovest has not disappointed.

Absolute catastrophe! The starters arrived after 1.5 hours and were mediocre. After another forty minutes the main course, pasta lukewarm and the meat inedible. No wine list, completely overwhelmed service. Conclusion, a restaurant that Charlottenburg doesn't need.

I can only highly recommend this restaurant. It's a little pricey, but worth every penny. The starters were very generous and really tasty. Unfortunately, the Pinsa no longer existed. But what am I saying, what a shame, we then got a risotto with seafood that was simply great. A great evening and great food. The music in the background was unfortunately a bit inappropriate and distracting, but in my experience that happens more often in Italian restaurants.

Service bad… took a long time. Food mediocre… The first and definitely the last time… you can find something better in Berlin.

The food didn't taste good at all, I've heard so much about Ovest, definitely nothing bad, but I wanted to go there myself and eat something delicious. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, even if I cook at home it tastes 3 times better, even though I can't cook, so 1 star from me for the food!

A wonderful evening in a great Italian restaurant This Saturday we were quite late. Nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed and had no restrictions on choosing from the menu. The food was excellent - we had cleverly prepared pasta and a matching rose. The service was great: attentive, friendly and in a good mood. We are in Berlin more often. The Ovest has now become an integral part of our visits and is a real recommendation, especially when you get hungry after going to the theater.

The waiter Giuseppe was simply fantastic! He was extremely friendly, attentive and gave us perfect advice. His recommendations were exactly what we needed and he truly made our visit unforgettable. I will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the restaurant and the service!

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment! We were there on Valentine's Day and waited an incredible 2 hours for our food. When the food finally came, it was more than disappointing in terms of taste and quality and completely overpriced. The service? Unfriendly and disinterested. More appearance than reality – definitely not recommended!

Wartezeit von über 2,5 Stunden, Personal unfreundlich, Essen Mittelklasse. Es wurden Unterschiede gemacht zwischen den Gästen, wenn diese dem Personal bekannt waren. Portionen waren so klein, dass man nicht satt wurde und das Essen war kalt. Es war auch sehr laut und eng.

More appearance than reality. After the renovation of the restaurant, at first glance the restaurant looks very nice, but unfortunately the food is simply subpar and the prices are extremely exorbitant. Truffle pasta (if you could even call it more like overcooked parmesan pasta) was lukewarm and mushy like glue. My husband had the daily special of 2 scampi with spagetti aglio e olio for an incredible €70. The spaghetti was cold and the 2 scampi were just fried to death. Everything was charged very harshly even though I had left my pasta. My husband ate the cold noodles because he was just hungry. Unfortunately, I left the store hungry. The one good thing was the cellar, very nice.

I was there recently and I have to say the food was okay, but given the price range you would expect a little more. Unfortunately, the restaurant cannot keep up with Kadewe. In addition, no attention from the house as a small starter or at least an espresso afterward. Rude service from the start for no reason, especially at these prices. In my opinion, tipping was too much, but if the waiter is standing right in front of the bill and waiting, then you might feel a bit pressured. So sorry, but really a shot in the oven.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Charlottenburg. And my go-to dish is always the arrabiata because it is simply very well made.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant, um den Geburtstag meines Mannes zu feiern. Leider war das Essen nicht so wie gewünscht. Aber nach der Reklamation wurde die Pasta sofort storniert. Fazit: Wir nehmen an, dass es nie so war, weil das Restaurant an dem Abend sehr gut besucht war. Und werden ihnen daher bestimmt bald wieder eine Chance geben.
