Cool atmosphere, good food, cash only.

Actually, only 4.75 stars, unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted here. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food; first-class service, and the quality of the food left nothing to be desired. I'd be happy to come back.

I'll keep it short: The food was delicious, the restaurant was very nice, but unfortunately, the evening was very negatively affected by a grim, unfriendly waiter, or even the boss, who treated decent men like children in an aggressive manner. A tip for this "boss": Customers are treated kindly, and there are no gestures in their faces, and you should be friendly! That's called service and respect! Unfortunately, they didn't have it! It's the tone that makes the music!☝🏼 Despite the good food, I won't be visiting this place again because this man exudes a very strange energy, and I want to have a good, positive evening, and there's a huge selection! But: The food was great! I want to emphasize that again!!!

We've been there several times and we always enjoy it. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is always friendly. Ordering and enjoying it at home is also a great option. The only drawback: you can only pay in cash.

We celebrated a birthday here and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The food was full of flavor and authentically Italian, every dish tasted delicious. The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, true Italian hospitality that made us feel welcome from the very first moment. The atmosphere was cozy, beautifully designed, and perfect for a friendly gathering. Service was excellent throughout, and everything contributed to a wonderful and memorable evening. This is definitely a place I’ll return to, and one I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for great Italian food and a warm, friendly vibe in Berlin.

Best place in Baumschulenweg... And always Pizza Parma... Really good pizza. The price is also reasonable... Super friendly service. Definitely recommend it and I'll be back.

A truly excellent restaurant. We've consistently served delicious food over the years. The price/performance ratio is simply perfect. The friendly service starts as soon as you arrive. You get bread and olives to start your meal, drinks are served promptly, and the meal can be customized upon request. We've been eating there once or twice a quarter for over 10 years now, and we're extremely satisfied. Thank you so much 🤩

This restaurant is very authentic and the food is super delicious. We've been here many times, even with three children, and it was a great experience.

Today I had a plate of bruschetta, a mixed salad with a bread basket, and tagliatelle with vegetables. Fresh and delicious! Lovely atmosphere on the terrace—even in the rain ;-). Service was relaxed and very friendly. Thank you very much!

It would be 5 stars if you could pay by card. However, it only accepted cash. The food was excellent. The service was top-notch. The atmosphere outside was also nice.

The food was delicious. The selection was very good. I had the beef steak in Gorgonzola sauce, which was perfect, just the way I wanted it. The service was very friendly, polite, and accommodating. Prices are reasonable. The ambiance is traditional yet modern. Highly recommended.

Were at il Nuovo in Baumschulenweg today and were thrilled again. Very friendly service, very clean, you had the feeling that you were expected. Food super tasty, rich, cocktails great. There is bread, olives and a farewell schnapps of your choice. We'll be back soon. By the way, the outside decoration is awesome. All the best to the team!!!

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. In any case, there was no authentic Italian cuisine. Cabonara with cream?! No olive oil on the table, lasagne of horror, vitello tonnato in watery mush, bland fish soup :( The pike perch fillets alone were solidly average and only just past the right cooking point. After these experiences, none of us had enough courage for dessert in this restaurant. We give the second star for the pretty presentation of most of the dishes. The service was OK, but we would have liked to have known earlier that it was not possible to pay by card. For example, a note when making a reservation for 10 guests with an expected bill of over €500 would have been appropriate. They didn't want to issue us a receipt for entertainment either, as something like that apparently didn't exist anymore. My tax advisor and the tax office are not yet aware of this ;p The question was only obligatory, but the answer was bold! So there is clearly room for improvement, but since there is no competition in the area...

We had a memorial service for my mother there yesterday. I can only report positive things. The ambience is beautiful. The laid tables were lovingly prepared. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely fresh and very good. We (23 people) didn't miss anything there. The price-performance was absolutely right.

I had dinner here with my fiancée a few days ago and we were both equally satisfied. The ambience is sometimes a bit "overloaded", but very friendly and somewhat reminiscent of a living room atmosphere, the service was extremely attentive and friendly and the food and wine were also good. It's also nice that Zabaglione is still on the menu - you see it less and less! A clear recommendation for the “Italian around the corner”.

If you’re looking for delicious Italian food you’re at the right place. They offer takeaway (pickup orders) - but you’ll miss out on the beautiful atmosphere and friendly familiar vibes in the restaurant. Extra room in the back for big parties/events. In the summertime they have a beautiful decorated outdoor seating area.

Lasagna, taglietelle and salad were very tasty. Drinks accurate to 0.4 liters...it's OK. Nice atmosphere, clean. TV screen with tourist advertising video (Mexico?) doesn't have to be and occasionally Spanish music at an Italian restaurant 🙂. Price-performance is right.

Absolute disaster! We felt unwanted as guests. We came home from work and didn't look particularly well-groomed, but never judge a person by their appearance. I'm self-employed and, thank God, I'm doing very well financially and normally I wouldn't even show up in a restaurant like that without being really annoyed. If I judged my customers based on their appearance, I could close my business tomorrow. People are people and it doesn't matter what they look like or where they come from. After all, thanks to the customers, you can feed your family. My colleague recommended the store to me and I wanted to try something different. The reception alone was very bad. We were looked at strangely by all the employees and were given the worst table right next to the toilet where the door opens and closes every 3 minutes. The food was a complete disaster! I ordered penne gorgonzola and chicken and I felt like I got 20 penne pasta with 5 small pieces of chicken that tasted like I was eating cartilage. The food was almost cold and the chicken wasn't cooked through. The sauce had absolutely nothing to do with Gorgonzola. My colleague ordered the same thing with spaghetti and complained about it and wanted something new. The waiter then brought us the bill straight away and said that his meal had been canceled without us asking. I was supposed to pay €22 and threw €30 on the table and went straight out. They just didn't want to see us next time and that's why everything turned out the way it did. This is the last shop you should visit in Berlin.

I recently had the pleasure of having dinner at Il Novo in Berlin. The crisp salad as a starter was fresh and perfectly prepared. The steak I ordered as my main course was cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy. Overall, it was a successful evening with delicious food and a pleasant Mediterranean atmosphere. Sensationally good pizza with tasty ingredients. Attentive, nice service. Only the drinks prices are, in my opinion, a bit too high (class water 3.20) and the rear dining room is much too dark.

Wir besuchten die Sylvesterparty im IL Nuovo. Es wurde ein Pauschalpreis bezahlt, enthalten war ein fantastisches und sehr opulentes 5 Gängemenü und alle Getränke , die man sich wünschen konnte.Das Lokal war sehr schön geschmückt.Unser Kellner war Dushi. Er war toll.Sehr aufmerksam, wenn leere Gläser vorhanden waren oder jemand einen Wunsch hatte, sehr schnell und umsichtig beim Service, super freundlich, es war der perfekt mit Ihm. Die Tanzmusik war gut gemischt, die Tanzfläche nie leer. Vielen Dank an den DJ. Vielen Dank für die perfekte Organisation der Sylvesterparty an das gesamte Team des Restaurants. Wir werden auf jeden Fall immer wieder Gäste bei Euch sein.
