Osteria Tressanti in Berlin

Amazing place. Thanks for the warm environment, the music and the food. I tried this place in winter (incredible roman 'coda alla vaccinara') and in summer as well (bruschette, pasta al pesto and fresh desserts). Everything is super fresh and the products are very well chosen. Thank you guys

Very homely restaurant with welcoming staff and great food!!

Unfortunately we waited a whole hour. To then be insulted stupidly by the waiter Francessco, because he thought he was asking, but he didn't come for 30 minutes after asking. Later we left very disappointed (hungry at that)

It was my first time in this restaurant. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. And very tasty and good, fresh pasta!

Great small place with excellent affordable wine and fresh pasta and fantastic sauces. The staff were very friendly and lovely. Would definitely recommend. The homemade spaghetti with pesto sauce was top!

Quite nice carbonara and truffle pasta, very kind and lovely stuff. My only comment is that it would be good to serve red wine slightly chilled, it was way too warm.

This place is an authentic Italian gem in the kiez. The staff is wonderful and so kind, they offer gluten free pasta options and an amazing wine collection from very skilled winemakers and small vineyards for very reasonable prices. My fav place in the kollwitz area 🙌 I’m almost scared to say it because more people will find out about this place, but they absolutely deserve all the praise in the world. Grazie mille 🙏

I found it very disappointing. After about 2 hours the food came. A tiny portion of sad vegetables bathed in oil. Service was friendly but not very attentive. There are many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but I wouldn't include this one.

We return with friends after having had a good time last month and we find ourselves terrible: Aperitif from 40 euros that becomes 50 waiting time for 2 carbonaras 90 minutes Tap water for a fee. I won't go back there are better places in Berlin.

Unfortunately I didn't find what I expected based on the good reviews. The Carbonara Tartufo was a sticky mass with softened (dried) porcini mushrooms that overpowered everything in terms of taste. The truffle was tasteless. The spaghetti more than al dente. Italian cuisine definitely works differently. 19 euros were not at all appropriate for the service provided. Very unfortunate.

Great experience, highly recommended. I made a reservation online for a Saturday at 6 p.m., and the confirmation arrived promptly by email. I had a starter salad for €7, lettuce, tomato, carrots and bread, the dressing was great. 2nd course a carbonara and then I couldn't resist it and there was a tiramisu for dessert. All in all very tasty, good portions. The service was great and I felt comfortable. For those who don't like eating alone, it's relaxing there. Full recommendation 10 stars

The best Roman cuisine without pizza, it's an osteria, not a pizzeria. Antipasti, primu, secondi and dolce, always accompanied by nice wine! Thanks to Alessandro and Ramona, I feel at home with you! Price performance ratio top! And you can now even buy homemade sauces at the Kollwitzmarkt...delicious

Unfortunately, it felt like every 2 hours someone from the staff went shopping at Lidl nearby. Extremely slow service. Are there nuts in the food that aren't mentioned?! Very bad for people with allergies. :(((((((

Excellent Italian cuisine, the offer of first and second courses is really interesting. Various really good meat sauces. And good desserts, top the chocolate lava cake. Kindness of the staff. Maybe a little slow in serving. But the wait is worth it.

Very disappointed! Would have expected much more! The quality of the dishes, quantity, prices, even the service and the long waiting time left a lot to be desired. The Osteria's attitude seemed very calm. When my lasagna was brought to me, the waiter said, "Who wants the corner?" Not only was she very small, but she was also cold. When he brought her back, she looked completely different and strange. Unfortunately I neglected to return them. €16 for this small, tasteless and cold piece is ridiculous. A piece of eggshell in the dessert, no more parmesan and also spilled olives?! Never again and I would never recommend it!

Delicious pasta, great service :)

Had a dinner at Tressanti and honestly we did not enjoy the place as we remember it from back in the days. Pasta was not so tasty (sauces and cheese), it also has some variations from what you would expect from the pasta names. Portions are not that big but it´s expensive. Interior is nothing special with some boxes standing around (the place is very small). Service was also meh. Unfortunately a place that disappointed us when looking at its rating.

Gorgeous decor, lovely food, lovely staff!

The fourth time in Tressanti. Found a table despite being at prime time on Saturday evening and without a reservation. However, the sound was quite loud in the back area and by two groups. Service was new, but still quick and careful. The Chianti was very good and floral. The spaghetti alla gricia, with pecorino, black pepper and pork cheeks (ham) was very spicy and tasty. However, the penne with broccoli and spicy Italian sausage was not very spicy and the broccoli was a bit understocked. Few vegetarian dishes. The Osteria is not barrier-free (several steps). It is better to arrive by public transport (tram stop in front of the door). There are tables outside. We'd love to come back.

At the first time in Berlin I couldn’t eat pasta at all. It was raw and hard. I told about it. But anyway it was included in my bill. Never come here again.

God mad, rigtig god mad, hjemlig atmosfære, måske var der lidt for mange kiks,mad der blev serveret ved forkerte borde, drikkevarer der måtte rykkes for. Men dejligt dejligt sted.,

The carbonara was authentic, unfortunately the meat was a little soggy.

I have booked a table for 2 for Valentine’s Day but we were seated at the bar instead. There were empty tables ready for other guests, I guess, their reservations were better than mine. Sitting at the bar is not a nice experience - to close to working area plus we were pushed by the staff from behind while they served nearby tables. The staff wasn’t nice, we had to pay and leave. Used to love this place, never coming again.

Amazing REAL Italian food with supreme original ingredients. Never found such a perfect Carbonara in Berlin!!! And they have a small selection of Italian natural wines, that makes a big difference to me.

Ich muss leider eine sehr schlechte Rezension abgeben. Die Carbonara Classica war leider komplett versalzen. Daher wirklich komplett ungenießbar durch den penetranten Salzgeschmack. Leider musste mein Lieferfahrer von UberEATS zudem ca. 30 Minuten vor dem Restaurant warten (zusätzlich zur langen ursprünglichen Lieferzeit). Das ist einfach respektlos, denn gerade bei dem Job verdient man kaum Geld und es ist verachtend wie dieses Restaurant auf die Arbeit dieser Leute nicht würdigt. Ich habe daher mehr Trinkgeld geben als üblich, aber das Verhalten vom Restaurant geht gar nicht und unter Beachtung der Qualität der Carbonara, verzichte ich auf weitere Bestellungen. Wie das Restaurant vor Ort ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, es wird auch definitiv nicht dazu kommen.

Purtroppo non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative, la pasta sapeva solo di pecorino. Incredibilmente la pasta al tartufo aveva solo un leggerissimo sapore di tartufo, purtroppo i piatti non valgono il prezzo pagato... peccato

I wanted to give this place another chance, since my first experience was not the best because of really long waiting times. It was a Wednesday evening, not crowded and we waited 1h30 min just for pasta. But it was ok. This time we order truffle tagliatelle and octopus salad. The truffle had no smell and no taste, which is very strange cause truffle is intense. It only tasted like cheese. The octopus was super dry. We ended up paying a very high bill and left most of our food on the table. A shame but I won’t go back or recommend it to my friends.

Our favorite Italian restaurant!

This is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food, ambiance, and staff are great and both food and beverage prices are very reasonable. My favorite is the rigatoni amatriciana and the zucchini appetizer. The cacio e pepe and lasagna are great as well. They are also very consistent--which is so important!

Einzig wahre & authentische Pasta in Berlin. Die Carbonara schmeckt wie aus Rom. Die Besitzer sind so herzlich und ganz wunderbare Gastgeber. Ich liebe liebe liebe Osteria Tressanti. Für jeden Anlass einfach das Richtige :). Vorher immer Reservieren, dann hat man sicher einen Platz :). Auch zu später Stunde, gibts hier ne Pasta und ein Glas Rotwein.

Good Italian food in the Prenzlauer area. The staff is friendly and they have menu in English. I had a caccio e pepe that was very good. Remember to book before you go.

Authentische italienische Küche auf hohem Niveau zu einem fairen Preis. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre sowohl drinnen als auch im Aussenbereich. Die Auswahl an selbstgemachter Pasta ist groß und alle Gerichte waren bisher außerordentlich gut. Wir haben diesmal den Klassiker Tagliatelle alla Bolognese (Ragout, Tomaten, Grana) und die Tagliatelle mit weißem Wildschwein Ragout genossen. Dazu gibt es eine große Weinauswahl. Auch Freunde von Naturwein werden hier fündig. 🐗 🍝

Starters (platter and carpaccio) and dessert (tiramisu) were top. The truffle pasta was unfortunately tasteless.

One of the worst italians I have tried in Berlin. Ordered Tagliatelle Truffle and they did neither smell neither taste like truffle, cheese or even butter for that matter. I got the dish changed and the replacement was even worse. The staff was super unmotivated and really did not care.

맛이 5점. 특히 치즈와 오일로 소스를 정말 잘 만든다. 알덴테로 잘 삶아진 생면, 짜지 않고 담백한 맛. 완성도가 높다. 이 동네 최고 파스타집. 와인도 다양하고 매력 있는 맛. 다만 양이 적고, 음식이 나오기까지 오래 걸리는데 같이 안 나오고 한접시씩 나와서 한접시를 나눠먹어야 했다. 그럼에도 맛이 좋아서 만족.

It was delicious! Had an amazing first course with polpo on a cream of chickpeas *yammy* and Parmigiana di Melanzane as main dish. If they serve the pasta with truffle, you have to take it. Unfortunately we did not keep track of the time and as we had a date in the planetarium, we had to leave before enjoying the main course. Just hmmmm <3 The waiters (owners?) were super kind and packed everything up for takeaway. (That’s why the not as beautiful picture of the food in the box). We will come back with more time for sure. My friend and I spend this year’s summer vacation in Sicily and we are more than happy to have found a restaurant serving as delicious meals as we had found there.

Wir haben die Pasta Cacio e Pepe und Pasta al Tartufo Nero hier gegessen und fanden beides unglaublich lecker! Die Größe der Portionen sehen zwar auf den ersten Blick eher klein aus, wie in der italienischen Küche jedoch üblich, war es sehr sättigend und genau richtig portioniert. Der Service war freundlich, besonders der Inhaber. Wir mussten nicht allzu lange warten, aber natürlich handelt es sich hier nicht um ein Fast-Food Restaurant mit fertigen Soßen, sondern um hochklassiges und frisches Essen, daher sollte man etwas Ruhe und Zeit mitbringen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Leider eine der schlechtesten Restaurant Erfahrungen, die ich in Berlin je gemacht habe. (Hinweis: Wie passt das zu den Bewertungen hier? Sortiert mal nach den neuesten. Komischerweise sind dort genau vor einem Monat ziemlich genau 100 ansonsten wenig aussagekräftige 5-Sterne Bewertungen eingegangen.) Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Kurz nachdem wir bestellt haben (eine Vorspeise, zwei mal Pasta und einen Wein) wurde uns der Wein gebracht. Eine Flasche Rosé Wein zwar aus dem Kühlschrank aber ohne Kühler. Bis unsere Vorspeise kam dauerte es dann 1,5 Stunden. Das Restaurant war nicht mal übermäßig voll. Das schlimmste daran: in dieser Zeit KEINE Kommunikation mit uns. So eine desinteressierte Behandlung dem Gast gegenüber habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Erst als wir dann nach 1,5 Stunden etwas energischer nachfragten hieß es, dass es einen defekt in der Küche gäbe und man brachte uns schnell ein paar Oliven. Die Vorspeise selbst war dann ok. Nach 2 Stunden und 15 Minuten kam dann unsere Pasta. Der Wein war mittlerweile leer und wäre auch ansonsten schon warm gewesen. Die Pasta schmeckte dann leider überhaupt nicht. Die Pasta mit Lachs schmeckte sogar ziemlich fischig verdorben. Wir haben die Pasta nicht gegessen. Einziges Plus: immerhin sah das Restaurant wohl selbst ein, dass man für diesen Abend kein Geld verlangen könne und rechnete garnichts ab. Leider kann ich diese Osteria aber in keiner Weise weiterempfehlen.

Einen richtig guten Italiener zu finden ist gar nicht so einfach - Pizzerien ausgenommen, davon gibt es mittlerweile einige gute im Prenzlauer Berg. Bei der Osteria Tressanti kann man genauso gut essen, wie es in einem sehr guten Restaurant mit klassischer Orientierung in Italien der Fall wäre. Das bedeutet auch: die Pasta Portionen sind eher mittelgroß, weil in der Regel mindestens zwei Gänge bestellt werden. Mein Tip: die vegetarische Carbonara - mit schwarzer Trüffel anstelle von Guanciale.

Osteria tressanti è un'autentica trattoria in stile italiano: è molto difficile trovare questo concetto di ristorazione/gastronomia a Berlino. La qualità di salumi e formaggi è molto alta (cosa super difficile da trovare qua) e c'è totale rispetto delle ricette originali per quanto riguarda i primi piatti. Straconsigliata sia ai turisti che ai locals! Breve nota sui vini: abbiamo assaggiato un bianco e un rosso entrambi di buonissima qualità.

Zufällig entdeckt und gleich in diesen Ort verliebt. Herausragende köstliche Pasta, perfekt al dente mit cremiger Sauce. Die Auswahl für Vegetarier ist auch vielfältig. Die Weinauswahl passt auch! Super netter Service, ich komme gerne wieder.

Food was good but the service can be improved.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Äußerst nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir waren mit Kleinkindern dort. Selbstverständlich wurde ein Kinderessen auf Wunsch zubereitet. Und wie in Italien üblich, hatten die Kinder ihr Essen zuerst. Wir hätten uns nicht wohler fühlen können.

This is authentic Italian cuisine at its best. No pizza, but real pasta and hearty meat dishes, but also excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Pino and Alessio go out of their way to provide you with the best Italian food available in Berlin und they are really passionate about their job and about their gorgeous Italian heritage. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. Not a place for posh people, nothing showy or over the top. Just very good vibes and excellent food. Meraviglioso!!! ❤️

The most autentic italian Osteria in Berlin. The staff makes u feel at home creating a spontaneous and unpretentious environment. Tip is the carbonara (one of the best i ever had and i’m italian) but actually everything on the menu is tasty and top quality!
