Italian food definitely wasn't my thing before. But I'll be raving about last night for a long time. It was definitely a culinary journey. Highly recommended. TOP

We spontaneously decided to eat at Cantina Rosso with our two young children (ages 2 and 4) – and we were absolutely delighted. The service was fantastic: warm, attentive, and exceptionally child-friendly. Without hesitation, they even asked if we wanted the children's meals prepared immediately so they wouldn't have to wait – a touch you don't experience everywhere. The food itself was authentic and fresh, exactly what you'd expect from Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was also very inviting: warm, relaxed, and perfect for a leisurely family evening. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit. We'll definitely be back!

The door is opened for you upon entry, and the restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. We had halibut and veal cutlet; it was delicious. The service is excellent.

Excellent Italian restaurant in Charlottenburg near KuDamm. Most Italian restaurants in Berlin are mediocre, but La Cantina Rosso is a great find. Very nice ambience and nicely decorated inside. Service is fantastic, super friendly and always attentive. We had the Fettuccini Scampi and Fettuccini with Truffle, both were delicious. Highly recommend and will visit again (as locals living nearby)

I was here for the Berlin Marathon. I needed pasta for the night before the race. The food was simply AMAZING!! I had the seafood de mare pasta and it was exquisite. Pasta was perfectly cooked and the tomato sauce was amongst the best I've ever had. The service was very friendly. I had the panna cot for desert and it was also amazing. I will gladly return next year when I'm there for the marathon.

La Cantina Rosso offers Italian cuisine of the highest quality. The dishes are lovingly prepared and presented and taste like a vacation in Italy. The service is very attentive and courteous. The ambiance in the restaurant is pleasantly sophisticated, although the exterior is currently suffering a little from the renovation of the building. I had antipasti misto, linguine agli scampi, and tiramisu, and all three dishes were a delight, both in terms of taste and appearance. I would be happy to return.

Im Mai 2025 machten wir einen Vergleich von 4 höherewertigen Italienern in Wilmersdorf. Die Cantina Rosso belegte mit Abstand den schlechtesten Platz. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Der Empfang war emotionslos. Das Restaurant (geöffnet ab 16 Uhr) war während unserer Anwesenheit 18-19:30 komplett menschenleer. Als Gruss aus der Küche gab es schwarze getrocknete Standard-Oliven aus dem Glas. Die Spaghetti Vongole schmeckten fade. Die hausgemachten Fettucine mit Trüffel waren OK, allerdings praktisch ohne Trüffelgeschmack, da nur eine homöopathische Dosis Trüffel über die Pasta gehobelt wurde. Die Chianti schmeckt überaltert, die Karaffe wurde (wie sich später herausstellte) aus 2 Flaschen zusammengegossen. Mein Teller abgeräumt, während meine Frau noch mitten beim Essen war. Das gehört sich nicht.

In May 2025, we compared four higher-quality Italian restaurants in Wilmersdorf. Cantina Rosso ranked by far the worst. We won't be coming back. The reception was emotionless. The restaurant (open from 4 p.m.) was completely empty during our visit from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. As a greeting from the kitchen, we received standard dried black olives from a jar. The spaghetti vongole tasted bland. The homemade fettuccine with truffle was OK, but practically devoid of truffle flavor, as only a homeopathic dose of truffle was shaved over the pasta. The Chianti tasted too old; the carafe was (as it turned out later) a combination of two bottles. My plate was cleared away without comment while my wife was still in the middle of her meal. That's not appropriate.

Tasty pizzas, friendly staff. There was nice to have a limoncello at the end. Recommended.

We had a wonderful experience here. We walked by one evening and were greeted by a friendly waiter as we passed on the street. Because of that simple interaction, we made a point to eat dinner there the next evening. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Don't stop at the entree, the tiramisu was incredible. This place is worth the stop!
