The menu offered a great variety, catering to all tastes, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. So many little things which made the night even better. But what truly made the night special was the staff. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. They made excellent recommendations, checked in on us regularly without being intrusive, and ensured that our glasses were never empty. The entire team worked seamlessly together to provide top-notch service, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also impressive. Every corner was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the evening. The grape garden on terrace was also a great feature. 🍇 Oh, and the tiramisu was bombastic! 😋 If you’re looking for delicious food, impeccable service, and a great atmosphere, this is the place to be. Great Italian restaurant, great Primitivo as an “open red wine” and very good cuisine. Nice ambience and nice attentive service, you have the feeling of “la famiglia”. Absolute recommendation.

We arrived around 10 p.m. and “just” wanted something to drink. There was only one table left occupied. We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a table, no matter where. No trace of stress or nerves due to arriving late. Super Service. Aperol Spritz, a glass of red wine and a margaritha to share. Very solid and, as already mentioned, super friendly waiter. We visit this small, extremely fine restaurant on every trip to Berlin. Everything is just right here, the service is great and very attentive. The food is great and of high quality. For dessert I ordered and received a chocolate souffle, even though it wasn't on the menu. La cantina Rosso is really worth a visit! We'll definitely be back.

We discovered this restaurant by happenstance, as it was located less than a block from our hotel. What a gem! In fact, we enjoyed our experience so much that we returned on two more occasions during our Berlin trip. Service was impeccable (thank you, Cristiano!), the food excellent, and the atmosphere welcoming.

Starter was Zuppa Pomodoro (a rich red creamy tomato soup), Mains consisted of 2 Linguine Scampi and 1 Pizza Diavolo with a shared dessert of Tiramsiu. This was an excellent meal and the staff were friendly and very obliging. The drinks menu is all encompassing and offers something for everyone even those with a discerning palate. If you are considering where to dine in Berlin please do not let this restaurant pass without a visit.

We were there on Wednesday, May 8th. in the Cantina Rosso and had an excellent meal, fish in a salt crust, it was like in a good restaurant in Italy. Friendly service is common here. Only recommended.

We were there for the first time yesterday and had an extremely nice and pleasant evening. The food was excellent and the wine, a Lugana from Lake Garda, went perfectly. The service was gracious and very attentive. Absolutely and gladly again.

As we know, tastes are different - but I really enjoyed it here both times. Nothing exaggerated, great to the point and very good components. What is outstanding, however, is what the service offers here. The young man is not only competent, warm and committed, but also so extremely hospitable that he even wishes everyone who passes by a good day. Always attentive, smiling and, above all, honest advice. For the 3 hours I felt like I was on a short vacation. If you surrender to it all, you will experience complete relaxation! Thank you very much for that! For me it was an outstanding evening - and I was there alone...

On March 13th, 2024 we visited the Grimmeschule Neheim restaurant La Cantina Rosso. In the month of Lent we decided to visit the restaurant to have something to eat, although we had been able to break our fast for a long time, the waiters did their best to help us break our fast as soon as possible. The pizza was in the oven a little too long, but it was still a nice treat. The waiters were very friendly and did everything to ensure that we had a nice evening. We at the Grimmeschule Arnsberg can recommend the restaurant!

I visited this place with my family on a weekend. They had a piano player, a lady named Marina, who played a variety of compositions, from classical to film to traditional Italian. This made the evening just beautiful. I would definitely go back if I knew that she played that night.

Am 13. Oktober besuchte ich dieses italienische Restaurant. Die Küche war köstlich und der Service war erstklassig. Aber der besondere Charme des Abends wurde von der Pianistin hinzugefügt, die wunderbare Musik spielte und eine magische Atmosphäre kreierte. Ich bin mit dieser Erfahrung sehr zufrieden und werde auf jeden Fall wieder hierher zurückkehren, in der Hoffnung, diese wunderbare Musik wieder zu hören.

Wir waren am 23.09.2023 aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen da und waren sehr enttäuscht. Die Speisekarte ist erfreulich überschaubar mit einer guten Auswahl von Pasta, Pizza, Fleisch und Fisch. Die Qualität des Essens war aber allenfalls ok. Ein bisschen mehr Raffinesse darf gerne sein. Das haben wir schon bei vielen Italienern besser erlebt. Die große Enttäuschung war der Service. Es dauerte 15min bis zur Aufnahme der Bestellung, Besteck nur auf Nachfrage, keine Servietten, keine Nachfrage, ob wir noch was trinken oder Nachtisch wollen, während des Essens die ersten Teller abgeräumt, 15min bis die Rechnung kam, weitere 15min bis kassiert wurde. Also das war wirklich 0 Sterne Service. Bestimmt sind an dem Tag Servicekräfte ausgefallen, anders ist das nicht zu erklären. Und wenn es so war, hätte ich für alles Verständnis. Aber dann entschuldigt man sich bei den Gästen und schenkt Ihnen trotzdem ein Lächeln. Wir wurden aber nach dem Motto behandelt "Ihr könnt froh sein, dass wir Euch reingelassen haben."

Ein wenig zog es uns in dieses Lokal. Nette Bedienung. Leckeres Essen.

Zuerst liess ich mich von dem wirklich schönen Ambiente blenden. Die Realität kam jedoch bereits beim Bestellvorgang… Diverse Weine, jedoch alle sauer… Das Vitello Tonnato zur Vorspeise war nicht nur überschaubar sondern lieblos dekoriert, dafür aber recht teuer. Als Hauptgericht wollte ich zunächst die Carbonara haben, auf Nachfrage jedoch erfuhr ich, dass diese hier mit Schinken statt mit Guancale gemacht wird. Mag ja schmecken, ist aber ein gänzlich anderes Gericht. Ich wählte dann die Nudeln mit Rinderfilet in Tomatensoße, die auch wirklich gut geschmeckt haben. Allerdings der als Parmesan dazu gegebene Käse war tatsächlich geriebener Gouda aus der Tüte. Die Krönung machte der Espresso, der defacto ein kaffeeähnliches Heißgetränk aus einem Vollautomaten war, der mit Espresso gar nichts gemeint hatte. Alles in allem ein sehr Enttäuschendes Erlebnis für einen vermeintlichen Italiener, der sich an Kellnern jeglicher Nationalitäten bedient, die weder italienisch nach deutsch sprechen.

Ich war zum ersten Mal dort am 08.09.23 und war sehr positiv überrascht. Der Wein und das Essen waren sehr lecker. Besonders kann man die Livemusik von einer wunderschönen Frau auf einem Flügel mit Superklang hervorheben. Es gab für jeden Musikgeschmack etwas passendes dabei. Tolles Programm! Gerne wieder.

Leckere Pizzas und tolles Ambiente Wir hatten eine Vegetarian und eine Diavolo Pizza mit einem großem Wasser und einem Pils. Haben dafür 38,50€ bezahlt, was absolut in Ordnung war. Service war sehr gut.

Ich war mit freunden vor paar tagen dort da wir auf klassenfahrt waren und wow die pizza war echt geil und die mitarbeiter voll sympathisch

2 keer heerlijk gegeten voedsel van hoge kwaliteit geweldige service en een heerlijke sfeer. Op vrijdag was er live muziek en bepaalde gerechten worden “tabelside” klaargemaakt zeker een aanrader om hier te eten.

The taste is ok, exactly what you expect from a typical Italian Restaurant. On the other hand, prices are overrated for such small portions. For almost 100€ we left hungry.

War heute zum ersten Mal hier. Das essen und vor allem der Service hätte nicht besser sein können. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit für jede Altersklasse. Kann ich wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.

Kenne das Restaurant von früher, als ich mit der GF von einem angrenzenden Hotel dort regelmäßig gegessen habe. Nun, nach mehr als fünf Jahren, hatte ich mich mit meiner Freundin mal wieder in die Gegend verirrt. Leider ist von dem damaligen Charme nichts übrig. Wir waren eigentlich nur kurz zu einem Toilettengang dort, entschieden uns aber um dann doch eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Es war gegen Abend, an dem sonnigen Samstag und kaum Kundschaft im Restaurant. Mir fiel sofort der ältere, sehr unfreundliche Mann auf der mit "lustigen" Sprüchen uns zuerst eine abgestanden Sprite servierte, diese dann nach Aufforderung der Nachbesserung aber austauschte. Die zwei Salate, die wir bestellten, waren sehr gut, wenn auch übersichtlich. Mein Rucolasaoat mit ganzen drei Kirschtomaten, Käse und Dressing für knapp 13€ eher sportlich. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön, wobei der gesamte hintere Bereich mit unzähligen, identischen Getränkeflaschen verbaut ist. Die Bar, nur noch im Ansatz als solche zu Erkennen. Zum Abschluß bot man uns noch einen Grappa bzw Zitronenschnaps an. Letztere war aber nicht mehr vorrätig, aus Grappa machten wir uns nichts. Ein anderes Getränk verwehrte man uns der "freundliche" ältere Mann mit Hinweis, der "Chef" hat das so entschieden. Wer es glaubt... Fazit: Keinen weiterenr Besuch wert. Ein Lob gibt es an die nette Dame, die uns mit ihrer lockeren Art animiert hat dort zu bleiben.

Leider hatten wir Pizza. Der Rand hart brüchig und trocken wie Keks. Die Mitte dafür sehr matschig und weich. Stumpfe Messer für schlecht geschnittene Pizza.

Super lekker eten. Hele vriendelijke en attente bediening. Het eten was echt lekker en kwam snel.

Wat een ervaring in dit restaurant. De (oudere) gerant maakt er een waar toneelstuk van met een hartelijke ontvangst en een kwinkslag hier en daar. Hij verstaat zijn vak van gastheer op en top en weet aan iedere tafel weer een andere toon aan te slaan. De menukaart is verrassend mooi, de wijnkaart eveneens. Vitella tonato zoals het is bedoeld. De porties van het hoofdgerecht aan de grote kant maar met zorg, én creativiteit gemaakt. Van begin tot eind (één Tiramisu voor twee) een feest. Jammer dat dit restaurant niet bij mij in de buurt zit want dan zou ik hier zeer regelmatig te vinden zijn.

Pizza → Nicht richtig geschnitten... Knusprig und zerbrechlicher pizza rand... QwQ Spaghetti → Zu extreme tomaten sauce... Zu durch gekochte nudeln... Schmeckt nicht.

Pizza kalt, Getränkepreis wirklich frech (5€ für 0,4L Cola). Bedienung nicht wirklich aufmerksam obwohl nicht viel los war und auch nicht wirklich freundlich

Heerlijke gerechten en wijnen. Leuke sfeer en fantastische bediening. Hier 2 x gedineerd tijdens verblijf in Berlijn. Eten en sfeer zoals wij in Italië gewend zijn, mooie wijn keuze, lekkere primitivo. Zeker aan te raden: zalm in witte wijnsaus, linguine met garnalen, zabaglione Overigens alle gerechten waren van uitstekende prijs, kwaliteit verhouding. Gewoonweg: EEN AANRADER

Während einer Dienstreise-Woche waren wir zu 6 sogar zwei Mal da, weil es lecker, angenehm und preislich wie qualitativ hervorragend gewesen ist. Sehr freundliche und flotte Bedienung, charmant und gut gelaunt. Auch die Rotweine, die wir konsumiert haben, waren überraschend gut. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
