Excellent food, really friendly staff, and an ambiance like a 5-star restaurant. We were on a school trip and stumbled upon La Bruschetta by chance; we ate there twice in 3 days. Highly recommended.

The food isn't bad, but they ask for a tip and don't even give you a receipt, so they keep the VAT too. As a gift, they give you a measly 1 cl shot.

Expensive, small portions, arrogant, elderly, and rather pushy waiter. It was cold because a window was left open, with an outside temperature of 5 degrees. The food was mediocre; the bruschetta was cold, and the pasta was very salty. The ambiance was quite good, but the service shouldn't be this bad. We won't be coming back.

What a fantastic place! Our hotel recommended this as a good option just down the road and it really was perfect! Our waiter was very charming, quite the character, so right off the bat we were having a great time, and he made several recommendations for wine and food for each of us, which we went with. Then the food came, and as someone that has been to Italy I can absolutely say it was some of the best pasta I have ever had. If you're going to get one dish at this restaurant, get the sweet Gnocchi with Pear and Provolone. I know it sounds a bit strange, especially if you don't like fruit, but it was utterly incredible. Truely one of the best things I've ever eaten.

I've rarely eaten such authentic food. It was very, very good, and the service was exceptional. It made my stay in Berlin even more enjoyable.

On our second visit, we were greeted with a hug—like old friends meeting up again. This warmth is rare and touches deeply. The atmosphere is equally inviting—clean, charming, and with an energy that entices you to linger long after dessert. As someone with food allergies, I was amazed at how clearly everything was labeled and how many options were still available. Not only safe—but delicious. Here, a restriction doesn't mean a sacrifice. We've made a firm resolution: every time we return to Berlin, this restaurant will be our first stop. It's not just a meal—it's an experience. In short: This place is pure food porn, and we are absolutely in love.

A deplorable experience! My glass of red wine was full of midges, so I said I wouldn't pay for it. The waiter removed it from the bill. When I went to pay, he said "easy" even though I wasn't upset. He then said, "I know you're French, but..." What the hell? What's the connection? A rude, contemptuous, derogatory, misogynistic waiter. Add to that an hour's wait for pasta. And a pizza that arrives just after everyone else has finished their pasta. Catastrophic! And there are eight of us, and one person has to pay for everyone. Why? We're still wondering since the waiter didn't want to answer our questions. Too bad... the food isn't too bad.

AMAZING. The food was spectacular, our group came two nights in a row because it was so good. Every dish we tasted was delicious and many of us said it was the best pasta they have had. The food is very fresh and well cooked. Service is amazing, we felt very welcome as internationals and the owner and serving staff were wonderful. The atmosphere is also very nice, really beautiful restaurant. The food is well priced also, and we all left very satisfied. Make sure you get the tiramisu for dessert, it is delicious!

We heard from friends that this place is supposed to be very good. You can reserve online, and then we went there for dinner on Friday evening. We received a very warm welcome at the entrance and were then escorted to our table. The waiters were not only very accommodating, but also always up for a bit of a joke. This immediately lightened the mood and made us even more excited for the meal. Everything on the menu looked delicious, and we could hardly decide. We opted for pasta, and I had an incredibly good traditional carbonara (without cream!). The food is prepared with love and dedication (we were able to peek into part of the kitchen) and was truly delicious! Afterwards, we had dessert and a shot on the house to finish off the meal. We would like to thank the entire team for this truly wonderful evening. We would love to come back and will recommend the restaurant!

Very nice and friendly staff. I believe the owner is doing service too. A lot of locals get greeted with a handshake. Cuisine is typical Italian 🇮🇹 and has to it’s regular menu specials on a black board. If in the area, I will be definitely going back.

Kindness and good value for money

A great place for Italians who don't want surprises regarding the quality of the food. We've rediscovered the tastes of home.

Italians, are you looking for a decent plate of pasta after a week of sausages and sauerkraut? I'd say I can recommend this restaurant. Friendly staff and a cute place. The food? It'll never be like the one in Italy, but it's one of the best I've had abroad.

The gnocchi with caramelised pears was heaven! Really good food and wine over all. Most of the staff was nice, but our waiter made me a bit uncomfortable and didn't pay nearly as much attention to my partner. Then he tried to argue for higher tips. Quite strange. The food was a clear 5.

I spontaneously went there for dinner today with a friend; I had been eyeing it for a long time, but today was my first time there. The staff were very nice, can't say enough about it, but I was extremely disappointed with the food - we had spaghetti carbonara, and that in an Italian restaurant. We only waited 5 minutes and the food was already on the table! Completely dry, hardly any sauce, the spaghetti was sticky as if it was from the day before or longer. I saw the spaghetti at the back table, which looked much more appetizing, with a bit of cheese being tried to cover it up. I'm lucky that I live nearby; I couldn't even take my friend to the train station because I would have to run to the bathroom. Maybe other dishes there taste better, but I definitely won't try them. Good luck for the future. Just being nice isn't always enough.

Cozy sidewalk restaurant. We were there on a Sunday evening, when there was almost no traffic on Andreasstrasse. The waiters had a twinkle in their eye and we felt very welcome. The food (pizza and pasta) was also really good.

We made a reservation for ten people through their website and everything worked as it should. The restaurant is on the small side, but that only added to our positive experience. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with our somewhat unusual requests. The food was perfect. Those who couldn't finish their meal asked the staff to pack it away for later. The final price was also really great, despite us paying for ten people. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come back.

Attentive service, delicious food. We finished with a grappa. I only gave it 4 stars for the ambiance, as I only sat outside on the sidewalk. I can't say anything about the interior.

Lovely Italian background music – but not intrusive. It's still great to have a conversation. The wine was a few degrees too warm, but otherwise, there's really nothing to complain about. I checked into Schulz Hotel nearby, and I was looking for a good restaurant to have my dinner. It was already late. I was lucky to discover this place. Absolutely brilliant restaurant. I visit Italy more than any other country in the world. Absolutely love it's cuisine. This restaurant was delivering the food we would get in Florence or Rome, and that is saying something :) Don't miss their bruschetta. They deliver in their name. Just be careful with the portion sizes. They are typical italian, so it will be a lot more than you expect. Lol.

Overall atmosphere and reception was/is great. Went there twice in a row, with 4 people from the Netherlands, during a weekend away, purely for the food and atmosphere. It's cozy inside, the service is smooth and cordial. The food is downright "super" a recommendation.

Regardless of whether it was a starter or a main course, the food was consistently delicious! The service is great! All employees are very friendly and accommodating. When we are back in Berlin, we will definitely come back!

We ordered margarita pizza and pasta with salmon. We were given fresh bread and olives while waiting 🥰 the food was okay, but I can't give it 5 stars. I think that not everyone may like pasta with salmon due to the noticeable note of leek in the sauce. However, the atmosphere and food were good☺️🍕

Fast service, you feel comfortable, it's cozy

Have eaten there several times now. In a word: great! Everyone is Italian, so authentic food too. Not like many other pseudo-Italians. The food is always freshly prepared, there is a small, fine menu and a daily or weekly menu. Delicious wine and other delicacies from Italy. It's very nice at the top, but it also fills up very quickly. There is still plenty of space in the basement. Eat there regularly.

Very disappointing! The staff was clearly gossiping about us, which was highly unprofessional. Additionally, the place had an unpleasant smell. The food was plain and uninspired—for the price, I would have expected real truffles on my bruschetta, not what was offered. Absolutely not recommended!

Stumbled across this lovely restaurant. Great service, great food, great dessert. But there was a promise to take it outside which didn't happen and the steak was rare rather than medium rare. But the waiter charmed my wife so much, all in all it was an okay experience.

Simply fantastic! In this small trattoria you feel like you are in Italy. The pasta is the tastiest I know in Berlin, the noodles have the perfect consistency and the combinations are simply perfect. Portions are big enough to fill you up, not too big that you leave something behind. The hospitality is always extremely friendly and has a real Italian touch. In my opinion, the upstairs dining area is just a bit too narrow when the restaurant is full... it gets too loud, you can't understand your own words and you're just sitting too close together with other people. The basement is a lot more comfortable and is better suited for a quiet get-together. Reservations are always reliable and flawless. Always happy to come back!
