Nuovo Mario Berlin Charlottenburg am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin

While on a business trip, I spontaneously searched for a restaurant near my hotel and ended up here by chance. The food was fantastic, the service very attentive, and the atmosphere very cozy.

A last-minute solution turned out to be the discovery of the year. Awesome atmosphere, fantastic food, and excellent service. Worth every penny in my opinion.

This restaurant deserves all the stars. Great food, great service. Extremely friendly staff. The only thing I can say is that the portions are a little too small and maybe the atmosphere could be more modern. Overall it is highly recommended.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's absolutely top notch on every level, down to picking up your coat before you sit at your table as and bringing a purse 👛 hook 🪝 to the table for your convenience. The flavors are carefully paired in every course. The atmosphere is warm, luxury and inviting. The Italian speaking friendly waitstaff bring authenticity to the beauty and of this restaurant gem. We were dining with our USA friends, their 1st time in Berlin. They were raving about the restaurant and were beyond grateful for the introduction to Nuovo Mario!! She said it was the best salmon she ever had!!

Great location. Very friendly waiters. You receive a warm and typical Italian welcome. Reservations are definitely necessary on weekends, but not during the week. Good selection of wine and food. A bit pricey, but okay. Beautiful area. Everything was perfect. I'd gladly come back. Dogs are allowed.

Had a fantastic company dinner there tonight. Service was great and gold incredible! It’s the best salmon pasta I ever had. I really enjoyed the chunks of salmon and the scallions inside and the sauce was excellent. We had a fantastic evening with my colleagues. I appreciated how you can tal and hear eachother and at the same time you don’t hear the other tables. We didn’t have room for the desert but the sabayon desert really looked exceptional!

Very good Italian restaurant located off the main road. Excellent decor inside and out. Staff were great but could be a little bit pushy on the upselling but really looked after us.

You absolutely must try the sabaillon, made fresh before your eyes. It's delicious and unique. (A show stopper). The pasta is homemade, and the salmon is cooked to perfection. A small selection of wines by the glass, but sufficient. However, when it comes to bottles, it's a cellar with some pretty unique wines as well. The service is professional, worthy of fine restaurants. When I return to Berlin, I'll definitely go back.

The sauce menu is unusual, and several simple dishes are missing. It was good, but we probably won't go back.

This was our second time dining here, and it was even better than the first. I ordered the pan-seared duck with red wine reduction — perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. The ambiance is intimate and classy, and the desserts are not to be missed. Try the crème brûlée!

We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. The staff welcomed us like old friends, and the food was outstanding. I had the grilled seabass with herbed butter and roasted vegetables — everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors were simple yet elevated. The wine pairing was also excellent. A truly unforgettable meal.

Ambiente topp, Essen war leider nur Durchschnitt. Optik der Speisen sah vielversprechend aus, hielt es aber nicht, nix Besonderes. Hähnchenbrust des einfachen Salates ungewürzt und trocken, sehr hart. Kein Dressing zu schmecken. Desserts rundete das Abendessen leider nicht ab, geschmacklich schon wesentlich besser gegessen. Preis-Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt.

The service is very good. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious. The Parmesan cheese that came with it was fantastic. We could have had a larger portion, as it was so delicious! Easy to reach. Very central and nice atmosphere.

Empezó con el carpaccio di manzo (carpaccio de ternera), después de lo cual vino filete di vitello al pepe verde (filete de ternera con pimiento verde y salsa de coñac, servido con verduras del día) y finalmente la casita siciliana. La comida estaba bien presentada y absolutamente deliciosa. Acompañaba a esto pan con aceitunas (gratis) , sin mencionar una copa de Prosecco y dos copas de Pinot Grigio. Salí de ese restaurante bastante tranquilo y muy feliz. Servicio fantástico, también. (El servidor incluso me preguntaba si estaba seguro de que no quería un café en la casa mientras iba, bendígalo.) Precioso lugar - volvería en un santiamén!

Bel locale, adatto anche per una serata romantica. Ottima musica. Tutto sembrava molto curato. Personale davvero smart. Qualità del cibo però appena discreta. Due calici di vino differenti, uno assolutamente improponibile. Prezzi più commisurati all'immagine del locale che alle capacità della cucina.

Very good upscale Italian restaurant. Extremely nice and courteous waiters. The food was very good, the portions were a bit small. A highlight is the wine list. All in all, worth a visit. We'd love to come back.

I wasn't impressed. The soup was rather lukewarm...and the warm drinks at the end were rather slow. The atmosphere (tables) were too cramped and crowded.

Toni, lorenzo, luigi, and niiki were exceptional servers. Our experience at this restaurant was amazing! Their attention to detail was top tier. Our food was incredible as well!

Our third visit was an expensive disappointment. We had ordered pasta dishes. We were brought overcooked noodles in a soggy sauce and the dish was neither tasty nor clearly freshly prepared. The restaurant was very empty, so there was no stress in the kitchen. Therefore it is not clear why the service became rare. The criticism of the food was accepted, nothing more.

We were in the restaurant today, the food was delicious but unfortunately our jackets were messed up. My jacket was wet on my arm and smelled of fish. Unfortunately the owners/waiters didn't realize that it happened there. Apart from being rudely dismissed and treated condescendingly, there was little understanding. Despite a hefty tip. Absolute impudence. In the end I have to take the train home with my blazer at -2 degrees.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Novo Berlin Restaurant in Charlottenburg and it was an all around outstanding experience. The restaurant impresses with its upscale ambience, stylish interior and an atmosphere that perfectly combines elegance and cosiness. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, so you felt welcome from the first moment. The food was of the highest standard - I chose tagliatelle with salmon, which was excellently prepared, and enjoyed a non-alcoholic beer with it. Finally, there was a classic tiramisu that was just perfect – creamy, airy and just the right amount of sweetness. Of course, Novo is in a higher price range, but the quality of the food, the excellent service and the stylish ambience fully justify this. If you are looking for fine Italian cuisine in Berlin, I can fully recommend Novo!

Pero este lugar lo es. Nos alojamos en Berlín 3 noches y comimos aquí dos noches. Honestamente todo sobre este lugar es genial, pero muy especialmente la comida!

Superhyggelig italiensk restaurant! Velbesøgt af god grund. Dejlig mad og vin, god betjening af nærværende personale. Jeg valgte Vitello til forret - lækkert og fin stor portion. Hovedretten var grillet laks med grøntsager - mere end jeg kunne spise. En god oplevelse - jeg kommer gerne tilbage.

Vi bestilte bord 1 time før ankomst og ankom til tiden - restauranten var helt fyldt, der var en dejlig behagelig stemning og vi blev hurtigt anvist et bord centralt i restauranten. Personalet betjente os hurtigt med masser af god italiensk humor og excellent kompetence. Vi bestilte burratta med tomat og vitello tonnato og som hoveret grillet laks. Retterne var friske, nydeligt anrettet og yderst velsmagende. Dette ledsaget af en glimrende hvidvin fra Napoliegnen greco di tufo - fantastisk. Vi sluttede af med kaffe. Restauranten fremstod nydelig, god betjening og rene og pæne toiletter. Tillige meget rimelig pris. Alt ialt en meget fin oplevelse, der mere end fortjener 5 stjerner kvalitet og pris taget i betragtning. BRAVO.

Fui a mi comida de cumpleaños 50 cuando estaba en Berlín. Preciosa decoración del restaurante y el servicio de todos los camareros excepcional A la comida Los dos comimos diferentes sopas que las minas estaban calientes y una de las mejores que he tomado. Las comidas eran deliciosas frescas y el tamaño de la porción genial. Desiertos era igualmente bueno minas se sirvió en la mesa algo un poco diferente Recomendaría encarecidamente para cualquiera que visite Berlín

At the beginning there was a bit of sand in the works because of the reservation. Reserved online for 2 people and changed it to three five days in advance - somehow that didn't arrive. Okay, so much for that. Food was good - had trilogy as a starter, was of course prepared and came cold from the refrigerated counter. This caused the whole thing to lose a bit of flavor. Saltimbocca and pasta dishes good. It's a real Italian restaurant, upscale - authentic.

Full marks for my husband and I. Why? We rarely go to a restaurant three times in a row, but the restaurant and the team are an absolute dream. We were in Berlin for three days and had a great end to the day on three evenings. From the first minute we were welcomed in a very friendly manner, as if we had been regular guests for years. The food, whether meat or fish, is of high quality. Individual wishes are also taken into account and taken into account without discussion. Worth mentioning are Enzo and Antonio, whose friendliness and hospitality cannot be surpassed. If we were Berliners, this would have become our local bar, which is what it has become with our visits to Berlin. THANK YOU for making our stay in Berlin so sweet.

Fuldstændig gennemført hyggelig restaurant i bedste italiensk stil, med tjenere som sørger for den overordnet positive og rette stemning inkl. modtagelse af jakke ved ankomst, anretning af dessert ved bordet, og lidt musik undervejs som bliver skruet lidt op, når stemningen passer. Maden var gennemført. Vi fik lækker ox bøf og fisk til omkring 200-300kr pr pers, men der er også pastaretter til 150kr, hvilket gør der er noget for alle. 5 min gang fra det centrale Kurfürstendamm.

Excellent lamb chops, pleasant service. Atmosphere less because you sit on the sidewalk and some cyclists thank it for being a cycle path. Of course the restaurant can't do anything about that, but it's not pleasant.

God mat, bra och trevlig service av ngt stressad personal. Vi var 5 personer och alla var riktigt nöjda med sin mat. Vi chansade och fick bord ändå, skulle äta på 1,5 timme, sedan fick sitta kvar ändå:-)

Great food and really great service!! Rare in Berlin

Quality Italian meal in a beautiful setting with friendly service. The menu is large and features many great pasta, beef and fish options, and a nice selection of wine to compliment each type of dish. I also recommend the outdoor seating area when the weather allows is nice.

We were there for the first time two years ago and only had something to drink outside. Since we liked it so much, we have now reserved it here for our next visit to Berlin. We were thrilled! The food was delicious, the service was very nice and attentive and the restaurant was very cozy. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

Unfortunately the waiter was WAY too pushy. Constantly trying to act like a clown as a waiter at an obvious business lunch and interrupting our conversation 100 times to ask how it tastes is absolutely inappropriate! Only being served a small portion of vegetables with the steak (40€) is also inadequate.

The restaurant is on a side street to Kurfürstendamm. Outdoor seating is available. There are real Italians at work here and you can taste it. Service and food were really good. Eating here was fun. The zabaglione was great! We'll definitely come back.

J’ai commandé le Chateaubriand pour me faire plaisir. Cuisson et accompagnements au top, mais le plat est plutôt sans saveur. Quelle déception ! Je ne recommande pas. En revanche les desserts sont délicieux et bien présentés. J’ai été déçu, donc je n’y retournerai pas.

Restaurant full, but we got table from outside. The menu and prices you see here is 8 years old…! For example pasta 13,50€, is actually 17,50€. Food was delicious, service little bit rude.

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren zu verschiedenen Anlässen und waren immer begeistert - sowohl von der Qualität des Essens als auch vom Service. Leider mussten wir dieses Mal feststellen, dass der Service qualitativ stark nachgelassen hat. Sowohl das Eingehen auf den Gast als auch die Bedienung waren unbefriedigend. Vielleicht spricht auch die überraschend gähnende Leere des Restaurants eine Sprache. Wir werden bestimmt nochmals dort essen - sollte sich dies wiederholen, wäre es definitiv das letzte Mal

Hervorragende Küche italienisch zubereitet. Innen sehr schön, aussen, sehr nah an der Hauptverkehrsstrasse Kantstrasse und unangenehm laut. Gute Weinauswahl.

A friend and I wanted to have a drink after the cinema. According to the opening times it was stated until 1:00. It was 11 p.m. and we asked if it would be okay if we didn't order food. It was. Shortly after midnight the waiter came and asked us to bring the bill so that we could drink in peace. Just ordered a wine spritzer 5 minutes before. After we had paid 47 euros (!!!!!!) for a bottle of water, a red wine, an Aperol and a spritzer, he came another 5 minutes later and asked us to leave. It was 0.15. One star for the ambience and one for the good wine. Otherwise completely overpriced and not keen to welcome guests again. Lionel Ritchie was playing the whole time. If you're not a fan, you're out of luck. The whole Kantstrasse is full of restaurants that are nicer and less overrated. We won't come back.

An Italian restaurant where I really like seafood. The atmosphere and service are very good. It is difficult to find a place without a reservation. Octopus and baby squid were great. You should definitely eat it. Their pasta is good, but the meat could have been softer. I got creme brulee. Dessert was good too.
