If there are Turks going, I recommend them to stop by. It's a great place, the atmosphere and flavors are excellent, we paid 15€ for a pizza and a fizzy drink even though we expected more, the prices were reasonable and the flavors were the same.

A great cozy spot to enjoy the end of the shopping day. The interior is amazing with dimmed lights and a bar I’d love for myself. The waiters are super-sweet and attentive and the food was just delicious - the pizza and the pasta were pretty close to what we had in Italy. Will come back for sure

I went to this restaurant for lunch, it was a splendid discovery, finally Italians and Italian cuisine, helpful and kind staff and owners, entrecote with perfect medium cooking melted in your mouth, which is why I went back again for dinner to have the same one. The tiramisu is definitely recommended to finish on a high note. The atmosphere is also excellent.

Excellent quality Italian restaurant, if you pass through Berlin we can only recommend it. The meat is a real highlight, the waiters and owners are very kind and helpful. The restaurant offers a wide choice of wines and grappas, excellent tiramisu.

Extremely long waiting time to be served. About 1h30 to receive the food. I ordered a vegetarian pizza, they brought me an onion tart. There was almost nothing other than onions on the pizza. Not good at all.

We came here because of the restaurant description and the alleged selection of vegan dishes. It turns out that only the bruschetta is vegan and some dishes are incorrectly labeled because they have cheese and there is no vegan alternative. After several requests, we got a vegan pasta that was okay. Ambiance was quiet and pleasant, a bit dark.

Excellent authentic Italian food, friendly service and lovely outdoor seating in the courtyard. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

So 15 euros for a salad with shrimps that only has a few lettuce leaves and 2 quartered cocktail tomatoes with shrimps in it, phew. So at least sprinkle a few pomegranate seeds and a few sunflower seeds or croutons on top, then it looks like a 15 euro salad. Unfortunately, the bread that was served was almost inedible because it was already very hard. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was also nice and there was a quiet terrace.

Great truffle pasta. Somehow rich but not super heavy like other truffled pastas I have had. Nice service and good outdoor seating. Lamb dish and beef ravioli also a highlight. Portions were surprisingly generous.

Una experiencia realmente desagradable. El tamaño de la porción estaba bien, pero el Tagliolini que pedimos llegó frío. Verdaderamente antipático y poco profesional servicio del camarero (creo que su nombre era Constantino de escuchar al personal que lo llama) . Era de aspecto desaliñado (camisa colgando de sus pantalones) y parecía fruncir el ceño en más de una ocasión. Cuando pedimos un postre/vino dulce nos sirvió algo que no sabía a uno en absoluto, mientras que nos aseguró que sí y que lo recomendó. Lo único positivo durante la noche fue el expreso.

Als ich was vegetarisches wollte was auch auf der Karte abgezeichnet war. Es gab kein Salat, nach hin und her diskutieren kamen paar Salat Blätter auf ein Teller. als wir ihn doch fragten uns Garnelen auf unser Salat zu legen mit Aufpreis natürlich !! kam nur von ihm eine Garnele kostet 7€ !! Sehr unfreundlich und nicht zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant sieht zwar wow aus auch die Qualität ist top doch ich würde da niemals mehr hin.

All to our taste, a family evening with dishes from our culinary culture, two appetizers, an octopus with potatoes and peas and a pizza with mortadella and istacchio, and three first courses, penne with sauce, gnocchi with prawns and lime and ravioli to braised meat. Everything excellent! I give 4 stars and not 5 due to the little light in the room, even the eye wants its part.

Beautiful room with an outdoor terrace, perfect for when the sun shines. Short attractive menu. Food was very fairly priced. Nice wine list. I was taken by surprise by how nice the room was. Very upscale when considering the fair prices. You can access the restaurant via the terrace which opens into the Mall of Berlin or from the street. The restaurant opens all day. The Mall of Berlin is a fab shopping centre.

This Italian restaurant has a very good menu. We ate here twice while staying in Berlin. The food tastes beautiful and looks beautiful on the plate. The service is excellent. There is outdoor seating available at the back. I would highly recommend.

We thought we would find an Italian restaurant and eat pizza. When we looked in, we saw a very nice and stylish room. Our first thought was that this would surely be expensive or too expensive for a simple pizza meal. But we were very well received and were served very good pizza. The prices were perfectly normal, and the meal was very much worth the price. The waiter was very pleasant and good at (quite a lot of) small talk. There was also lovely live music which we really enjoyed! We planned to come back the next day to try something else on the menu, but unfortunately it was closed then

Vi tenkte vi skulle finne en italiensk restaurant og spise pizza. Da vi kikket inn så vi et veldig fint og stilig lokale. Vår første tanke var at dette sikkert ville bli dyrt eller for dyrt for et enkelt pizza-måltid. Men vi ble veldig godt tatt imot og fikk servert veldig god pizza. Det var helt normale priser, og måltidet var i aller høyeste grad verdt prisen. Servitøren var veldig hyggelig og god på (passelig mye) small talk. Det var også nydelig levende musikk som vi likte godt! Vi planla å komme tilbake neste dag for å prøve noe annet på menyen, men da var det dessverre stengt.

Side dishes: 2 pieces of carrot and a small potato cut in half Some of the food was cold, a friend had ordered pasta and got the parmesan 10 minutes later We were with 8 people, 7 of whom were not satisfied Price performance for the food only 1 star

1 hour waiting for spaghettis. Hard and chewy, Not sure what it should taste like but we needed parmesan, salt, pepper and oil to be able to make it edible. Of course, fancy expensive. Won't come back.

We had a wonderfully reinterpreted Parmigiana as a starter, which started an enjoyable evening that ended with a delicious dolci including coffee. Service and ambience are excellent as always. We were there for lunch and were very satisfied. The service is attentive and discreet. The food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Since I didn't like the open red wine offered, a solution was found quickly and easily - that's good customer service. There are only cloth napkins, it's nice to avoid unnecessary paper napkins at lunchtime, people consciously live their own standards here. We'll definitely be back!

A nice Italian restaurant with friendly staff. Seems a bit more upscale. The food is tasty but not quite commensurate with the prices. The highlight was the starter: Vitello Tonnato with beef instead of veal. A little different but still very tasty. In summary, a nice Italian but not a must.

Outstanding! An oasis of quality and perfect service, Essenza is one of the rare places in Berlin where you can quietly enjoy a fine dinner for a reasonable price. The staff is always present, trained and unstressed and the atmosphere is one of sophisticated relaxation. We've visited many times and have always enjoyed it, a definite recommendation for all. Great place, good food, nice atmosphere

I came here because of the reviews. Unfortunately, none of that was right. I ordered the following: crespelle, Pasta pomodoro, Bruschetta, Beer Wine, Apple juice. To start with, the bruschetta and the food all came at the same time. I got the strong feeling that she wanted us out quickly. Crespelle was a pancake that they had divided in half with maybe 3 shrimps in it, even though this is one of the most expensive dishes. The taste was short from bad. I don't think you can ruin the pasta pomodoro, luckily the chef didn't do that😂. The bruschetta was literally three slices of bread with melted cheese????? I'm a lover of Italian food and cooking, but I think bruschetta is something else. The worst part was that I really paid the top price here: 14 euros for three slices of bread. The beer was good but that was German. Wine was good that was French. The apple juice glass was broken. After we had eaten everything was cleared within 2 minutes, I still hadn't finished my drinks. A tip for men: instead of speaking Italian and acting a bit arrogant and flamboyant, I would rather invest in good Italian cooking.

An absolute great surprise! First, I didn’t expect the place to be so beautiful and curated. And they even have an inside courtyard terrace: amazing! Second, Cosmin, the Restaurant Manager, is just the perfect host and makes you immediately feel welcomed and taken care of. Last but not least, the food: stunning! True Italian food (and I am a difficult Italian client as I am very used to high standards in Milan where I am from!), yet revisited with a modern twist. Everything was delicious. Bravo chef! Strongly recommended if you are looking for a great Italian dinner in a lovely place.

Wirklich richtig schick und lecker! Das Ambiente ist gediegen gemütlich. Die Auswahl der Speisen übersichtlich und völlig ausreichend. Das Vitello Tonato schafft es locker unter meine Top-5 Vitellos! Die Pizza hatte einen ordentlichen Teigrand und war sehr lecker! Das Ganze wurde von sehr aufmerksamen Kellnern begleitet, sodass mein „schnelles Abendessen“ ein ausgiebiger Genuss wurde! The dining area is spacious and can accommodate large groups. The venue features a stylish open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. The cuisine is excellent and offers some Italian specialties that are hard to find abroad. The service staff is attentive and always available; the waiters speak multiple languages. The coffee at the end of the meal was particularly good! Overall, I had a great experience, and I will definitely return. Essenza ist ein elegantes Lokal nur wenige Schritte vom zentralen Potsdamer Platz in Berlin entfernt. Die Atmosphäre ist gehoben und besonders für ein romantisches Abendessen oder wichtige Geschäftsessen zu empfehlen. Der Speisesaal ist geräumig und bietet Platz auch für große Gruppen. Das Lokal verfügt über eine stilvolle offene Küche, in der man den Köchen bei der Arbeit zusehen kann. Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet und bietet einige italienische Spezialitäten, die im Ausland schwer zu finden sind. Das Servicepersonal ist aufmerksam und stets verfügbar; die Kellner sprechen mehrere Sprachen. Besonders gut war der Kaffee am Ende des Mahls! Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt und werde sicherlich wiederkommen

The outside doesn't give you an impression of the luxurious interior and delicious lunch that awaits. The octopus starter is devine and Zander fillet main were spectacular. Also, the best Gavi I've had.

A real Italian Gem in Berlin First of all, a big thanks to Matteo and his team. It was such an incredible experience. Finally, an Italian restaurant, not the classic pretending to be Italian. The atmosphere was incredible. The design was lovely, with outstanding attention to details. Food was literally incredible! Spaghetti aglio and olio with prawns were the kings of our table. One of my guests (from Ferrara, Italy) said: "it seems needed to go to Berlin to find a perfect pasta. Service was spot on, Giuseppe on top, such an incredible worker, funny, very professional, and competent, always smiling Highly recommended .

Dieses Restaurant bietet nicht nur ein fantastisches Ambiente, sondern auch eine hervorragend ausgebildete Bedienung. Das Essen im essenza war schlichtweg phänomenal. Die Vielfalt an Gerichten, die Qualität der Zutaten und die raffinierten Geschmackskombinationen haben mich beeindruckt. Die Weinauswahl war ebenso beeindruckend und ergänzte das kulinarische Erlebnis perfekt. Die Vorspeisen waren köstlich und bereiteten den Gaumen auf das Hauptgericht vor, das in meinem Fall ein wahres Highlight war. Das Dessert rundete das Mahl perfekt ab und war ein echter Genuss. Natürlich ist das essenza preislich im gehobenen Segment angesiedelt, aber ich kann ohne Zweifel sagen, dass sich jeder Euro lohnt. Dieses Restaurant bietet ein unvergleichliches kulinarisches Erlebnis, das jeden Cent wert ist.
