Very friendly staff, they always ask if everything was ok and if the food was tasty. Fast service for drinks and food. The cuisine is very commendable, it tasted very good. There is a great atmosphere at Oskar. Whether as a couple or with a larger group, you can always eat there.

We were there on Saturday afternoon without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. We were offered a high table that fit. The food was absolutely top, the service was attentive and quick, all in all we would love to come back when we are in Bayreuth

Absolutely great typically Bavarian inn. The service is top and courteous. There is something for everyone on the menu and of course a good selection of beer is also included.

An amazing place in the city center of Bayreuth. I can only recommend the wild boar loin – it was tender, juicy and full of flavour. The staff was warm and friendly, especially our waitress Lena, who made sure everything was perfect. I'll definitely be back! This place is a must when visiting Bayreuth. Oh, and if you can't walk after eating, don't worry—the wild boar didn't have a chance to escape either!

Very quaint and pretty crowded even during the week. This made it very loud, but that didn't detract from the atmosphere. It's nice that a few hikers were offered a platform on the Walz, you don't see that often anymore. Even vegetarians can get their fill here in style. And the service was funny, incredibly attentive and yet not intrusive.

Every time we travel home to Berlin on our long vacation trip, we stop here in the evening and eat there. We always look forward to it. Super friendly and fast service every time, the food is great and served really quickly and hot and the atmosphere is rustic. We'd love to come back.

A great pub in the city center of Bamberg. We were here in a small group for breakfast. The food and beer were great. The service was also friendly and on point. I recommend a reservation. The places here are booked up quickly.

Nice quaint inn. Drinks and food good. Only the service left something to be desired: cocktails were ordered for “happy hour” at 6:40 p.m. They came at 7:05 p.m. Complaint unsuccessful during the long waiting period. Funnily enough, things went faster after that.

We ate delicious white sausages and Kaiserschmarrn. The child was happy and full and so was I. The price was also completely reasonable for lunch. With two drinks around €25. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

I went three times and all three times it was very delicious. The restaurant has a large number of seats, so you can easily get in without a reservation. It has a nice atmosphere both inside and outside.

I come from Northern Germany and took a short vacation in Bavaria. The restaurant is really delicious. Very good Bavarian specialties. We are on October 3rd. Walk-in customers came in on a public holiday and were served quickly in just a few minutes even though it was busy. The Schäuferle and the Bayreuther Hell are a big highlight that I have never experienced in other German states like in Bavaria. Live Bavaria ❤️⬜️🟦

Orders for collection are not possible on weekends due to overload, although nothing about this is stated on the website. Quite the opposite - you are encouraged to order "to takeaway" on the in-house website. Very disappointing.

Drinks: really perfect for sobering up. For everything else to be forgotten. 30 minutes waiting time for a drink and we don't even want to start eating. A 2 hour waiting time between arrival and eating seems to be normal. Eating was tasty. But based on the duration, it's not recommended

Great restaurant 👍🏻 An absolute must when you're in Bayreuth :) You either have to come early (5 p.m. at the latest) or make a reservation, otherwise you'll wait a long time for a table. Although the dishes were large and top-notch, it wasn't expensive. The waiters were very nice and hardworking (especially Chris from Hamburg 😉). Gladly again 😃

The sauerbraten was just ok. A slice a little firmer. Unfortunately the meat was rather tasteless - not good and not marinated long enough. Red cabbage was good and portion too. Dumpling ok. shandy delicious. My husband had a schnitzel that was also ok - but by no means 4 or 5 stars. The service was nice. However, we had to wait a little longer. 3 employees walked past our table without taking an order from us

Simply great! The service was really quick and on point. The food was super tasty and the portion size was also sufficient. A reservation is recommended as the restaurant is always very busy! The next time I visit Bayreuth I will definitely go to Oskar again!

The Oskars is a very large restaurant. The size doesn't bother you at all because the furnishings are perfectly tailored to it. The food and drinks were all excellent. The service was really great. What the waitresses do here, always with a very friendly smile, is admirable. Reservations are mandatory here.

Very tasty food, even if some of it is standard. Mixed starters were spontaneously put together for the table and were very tasty, definitely recommended. Afterwards you can also share a main course. Beer galore, coffee etc. could be tastier.

We had dinner at Oskar today with a group of 13 people and it was really nice. The food and cocktails were really delicious, brought to the table incredibly quickly (the kitchen must be incredibly well organized!) and Lea, who served us, was really super nice and friendly. Great experience. We would all love to come back! 🤩

Wir waren schon einige Male hier. Beste Lage in der Fußgängerzone mit großen schattigen Plätzen unter Schirmen. Parkgelegenheiten überall in der Nähe mit max. 5 Min. Gehzeit. Der Service ist stets freundlich und die Wartezeit nach der Bestellung sehr kurz. Preise sind wie überall in Bayreuth aber passen durchaus zur Leistung und zur Qualität. Speisekarte sehr gut, auch Kleinigkeiten dabei oder Salate etc. lediglich an den typischen Bratengerichten könnte die Auswahl noch etwas größer sein. Die Innenräume sind schön urig eingerichtet und es gibt verschiedene "Stuben" und einen Hauptraum - also immer einen Besuch wert.

We spontaneously decided to eat there and got a nice seat in the atrium. We were served quickly and friendly there. The selection of dishes is large. Regionally classic and also modern. An extra menu is also seasonally adapted. We had the Gröstel and the bread dumpling carpaccio. Super tasty.

Was here again after three years. It was still very tasty. The fried potatoes were the best I've ever eaten in a long time. It was pretty full outside, so the meal took a while and the service only came irregularly, for example to request the bill All in all, based on the food, it was still very tasty and recommended.
