Café Kraftraum in Bayreuth

Never! If there was the option of 0 stars, then definitely 0! RUDE STAFF! We spontaneously wanted to have breakfast there early. When we came in there was no MA to be found immediately. We then wanted to sit on free seats. There were 6 of us. A table was marked as "reserved" but of course we didn't use it. Since there weren't enough tables for us, we wanted to move another (unreserved) small table close to the large one. At that moment the waiter suddenly started talking to us incredibly stupidly. We weren't even sitting at the moment when he appeared out of nowhere and then spoke to us: "When you come in, say hello. It's not your living room that you move tables here. Have you even reserved and how many Are you guys? The tables are reserved." However, 1 larger & the smaller one had no Res.plate! Even if he did, why so snippy and in such a rude way? Is this how you treat guests? He also said to one of us why she was already taking off her jacket. Hello, is it still okay?! We weren't loud, rude, or intentionally doing anything wrong. 1. If I am a guest, the waiter should treat me politely and point out to me FRIENDLY that the tables were reserved (without marking in this case) 2. We did not meet the waiter immediately upon entry to ask about this or him to say "HELLO". Here, too, you can use an APPROPRIATE TONE to point out the tables that have been allocated or say that we are full, have no table, etc. As we all know, the tone makes the music! But don't scare guests away in this disgusting way! Apparently the store is doing so well that they can do without customers. After such interaction, we rejected the offer to distribute ourselves and left straight away. We will definitely NOT visit this cafe again. There was no friendly interaction, politeness or nice service for us! How bold do you want to be to ask a guest not to take off her jacket?! That is your decision and not that of an MA. Even other guests have i.d. I smiled for a moment and was ashamed of this MA's behavior. Never again in the weight room!!!

We had arranged to have breakfast with friends, and although we hadn't made a reservation we were given a table of up to . We were immediately told we only had so much time (.) There were 5 of us! Unfortunately service is totally unsuitable! Unfortunately, as in this store, there is a lack of competent people who convey friendliness and empathy to a customer! We didn't feel comfortable and honestly no no no. Never again!!!!

This restaurant reports the bad reviews on Google as "slander". They then disappear. The good reviews do not reflect reality! Absolutely dishonest and shabby behavior.

We've been to the weight room a few times... Today for breakfast, and it was delicious as always. The waitresses were super friendly and on the ball. The ambience is pleasant. The Café Kraftraum is really a small place where you can recharge your batteries a little. We'd love to come back.

I had already written a review. Here I reported that I find the drinks prices simply overpriced. Café Kraftraum reported this review to Google for defamation and asked me to delete it. Let's see what happens to me here...

I didn't want to crush everything possible at the Christmas market and decided to have soup. I really liked the tomato soup and the bread was excellent. I had a cappuccino and it was delicious with great foam. I thought the service was slower but nice, the atmosphere was friendly, I was pleasantly surprised, and the price was fine.

Nice little cafe for breakfast. Good selection of different breakfast variations and coffees. Since the café is not very large, it is advisable to make a reservation.

I've known the weight room for about 19 years now. Maybe even longer. Even though my visits are unfortunately few and far between now, I still enjoy visiting Upper Franconia's veggie oasis again and again. My recommendation: resting heart rate & beer of your choice, or a delicious kiwi smoothie (unfortunately these are no longer available at the moment, the staff has changed over the years). But I get nostalgic every time I think back to the kiwi smoothie from ~2005 or 2006. 🥳

Good breakfast offering, which also tasted very good. The chai latte and cappucao (spiced cappuccino) were unfortunately way too spicy - otherwise the drinks were good - also with enough choice. A reservation is definitely an advantage as the café is very busy even during the week. The price-performance ratio is good. Tip: look at the menu on the website beforehand, as you have to read it carefully.

We went to this pretty nice coffee shop regularly for years. But unfortunately the prices rose disproportionately. To compensate, the portions and the food became smaller worse and the waitresses less friendly. We have decided to avoid this coffee in the future.

The price-performance ratio is no longer correct here. The portions of the food have become smaller and the prices have increased enormously. For an onion tart as a main course we got a piece that was equivalent to a small piece of cake. The operations are constantly changing, and are mostly unprofessional and unfriendly. There are other places where you are welcome as a guest and treated kindly.

Long waiting times or not receiving what was ordered. The waiter often had to ask the kitchen what was in the food. Unfortunately, coffee didn't taste good at all. Air up.

Cozy café with a wonderful outdoor area but also comfortable indoor seating. Toilets are a bit small & narrow. Friendly, courteous service, I've only had one negative experience so far Especially busy on weekends, so reserve in advance :) Particularly positive: Vegetarian dishes, cakes (some also available vegan), all of which are highly recommended! The café tastes very tasty and the price-performance ratio is completely justified. In general, the people/visitors here are very open and warm ☺️

The furnishings seem crammed together, but even though nothing fits together, it somehow fits as a whole. The staff is very friendly. The brunch was very tasty, even though everything was purely vegetarian. However, there is no filter coffee, only coffee with disgusting crema. Therefore no full points.

At first the waitress couldn't adequately describe the composition of the cheesecake and explained that she didn't cook it, then she mixed up almost everything we ordered. Then we had to ask several times for the bill to be brought to us; they simply forgot about us. But the crowning glory of this circus was the statement that you can ONLY pay in cash, even though I never once paid with a card there. If I have the opportunity, I would ask the tax office to check this situation more closely, because we haven't seen the receipt either. I recommend avoiding this cafe, at least until the staff changes.

I love this cafe! It's something special, very cozy with healthy and really tasty food. I always come here when I visit my demented father in Bayreuth; There I recharge my batteries and fortify myself with good food. :)

We were there for lunch today. It has to be said that we have been good customers for many years! The waitress wanted to come back “immediately”, when this hadn’t happened after quite a long time, we asked politely, only to hear a snide “she has something else to do and we have to wait”. The sound makes the music - we are the last people who would put pressure on us when we are stressed, but you could also express yourself differently. When she finally came outside again after some time, she ignored us and visibly deliberately served guests who had arrived later. We then left and won't be coming back. It was now the end point of several recent bad experiences in the weight room. It's a shame, this used to be a very nice and good restaurant where we spent a lot of time and had nice celebrations.

A morning, nice weather. When asked whether we had reserved, I said no, why reserve, everything inside was free... The answer inside was only possible with a reservation and therefore we couldn't go in, I understand who would want to, at least not us. Anyone who greets first-time customers like this these days shouldn't be surprised if they don't come back... Thanks for nothing.

I've been there several times now and every time it's the same thing: staffing is too thin at peak times. One person in service is simply not enough. You sit around thirsty, you sit around hungry until someone flags you down to order. The food is then ok. Even when paying you have to ask twice and then finally someone comes. The same situation at all tables. It's a real shame, it had so much more potential.

I wouldn't recommend the spelled pancakes to anyone. I think it's a disgrace to charge so much for 2 greasy mini pancakes. The price-performance ratio is not right here. The yogurt with fruit is delicious and worth the money for the same price.

Went there three times within 3 days (breakfast, lunch and bar in the evening) and had a great experience each time. There is a very large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, most of which are organic. The staff was also very friendly.🤝😌

Gehe oft und gerne hier her, wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer frisch und lecker zubereitet. Tolle und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten. Das Lokal hat ein tolles Ambiente, der Service ist ausgesprochen Nett und freundlich. Egal ob am Morgen, Mittags, am Nachmittag oder am Abend......hier fühle ich mich richtig wohl. Im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen, was auch sehr schön ist.

The weight room was the exact place where I could always eat if and when I was hungry. I was never disappointed. Tasty, fresh, good portions. Today I was there at 3:30 p.m. and it said: food not until 6:00 p.m. Guys, that's not possible! The continuous cuisine was excellent. Apart from three beer drinkers, there were no other guests with you. Please be there for everyone again at any time.

We were here for breakfast. Having breakfast outside on a quiet street is super nice. However, the quality of the food is really poor. Rolls don't taste good, brown bread is totally dry. The spreads are nothing special. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the restaurant for breakfast.

The rules make no sense, anyone who wants to sit in the shop has to pay (e.g. one group goes out to eat and two eat and the others don't) otherwise you will be thrown out.

I was there this morning and ordered rice pudding with applesauce for my 3 year old child. After about half an hour, a service employee came to the next table to serve breakfast and I asked about our rice pudding. Then he remembered that he wanted to tell us that unfortunately they no longer have rice pudding. Something like that just doesn't work! My child was so excited about rice pudding for half an hour and I always put him off by saying that cooking rice pudding takes time. Well, and then something like that. I can understand that it takes a little longer on Sundays when the weather is nice, but if you remember after half an hour to say that the dish you wanted is out, that's absolutely not possible. And unfortunately we lost them as guests!

Love it ❤️, super delicious breakfast, also vegan. Green Dwarf is soooo good. It's a shame that you have to pay 60 cents for oat milk instead of cow's milk. But otherwise just great.

Service was exceptionally good. I have experienced many times in the past that this is not a given in the weight room. Food and drinks were great as usual. I find the fact that there is basically no Zero/Light Cola on offer to be pretty weak.

We were spontaneously out for a cocktail in the city at 10:30 p.m. and happened to walk past the café. The cozy seating area by the window looked very inviting and we immediately felt at home. We took advantage of the large collection of board games and ended the evening relaxing. We'll definitely be back for dinner this time:)

The drinks were brought quickly. The selection is good. Likewise the choice of food. The food tasted great. In terms of price it was definitely worth it. We always checked to see if we wanted anything else without being intrusive. We will definitely stop by again soon.

Wir waren heute nach einer Empfehlung zum Frühstück da! Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Hatten diesen Tölzer Bullen der leider sehr enttäuschend war.1 Scheibe Salami in der Mitte durchgeschnitten,ebenso 1 Scheibe Käse und ein bisschen Lachs,nur ein einziges kleines Stück Butter,( ein kleines Stück wurde für 1€ nachgeliefert….geht gar nicht) Das ganze für 15,90€ Sehr überteuert! Werden nicht wiederkommen

Eine wirklich echte Kneipe mit sehr netten Leuten. Alle Gerichte (oder Trainingseinheiten 😜) auf der Karte hören sich gut an und die, die wir hatten waren es auch.

Das Cafe Kraftraum ist ein beliebtes Cafe für Studenten sowie Vegetarier und Veganer in der Bayreuther Innenstadt. Essen: Wir waren zum Brunchen da und haben entsprechend ein Omlette und einen Avocadotoast bestellt. Beides war lecker, jedoch nicht spektakulär. Portionsgröße für Preis in Ordnung Service: Netter und flotter Service Ambiente: Gemütliches Ambiente, wir hatten genug Platz zum Essen

Super leckeres und frisches Essen - auch viele vegane Gerichte. Hier gibt es Essen wie ich es mir immer wünsche: super lecker und gleichzeitig gesund! Die Preise haben echt gestimmt. Nette Bedienung, süße Location mit vielen Hinguckern. Wenn wir mal wieder Bayreuth sind, kommen wir auf jedenfall wieder vorbei.

Wir saßen da nur zum Trinken, das Essen kann ich nicht bewerten. Der Tee schmeckte sehr gut und die Bedienung war sehr nett. Das Lokal hat mir nicht so gut gefallen, ich fand die ganze Dekoration bisschen alt modisch und kalt. Da aber die meisten Kunden Studenten sind, sieht es nicht so passend aus.

Man muss immer damit rechnen das hier viel reserviert ist. Aber dennoch würde ich jedem ans Herz legen diesen Ort zu besuchen. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Und der Chai Latte schmeckt hier wie daheim. Wunderbar. Gehe hier sehr gerne ein und aus.

Einfach nur perfekt! Ich habe seit langem nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Es wird auf Bio Produkte und Nachhaltigkeit sehr geachtet. Es werden ausschließlich vegetarische Gerichte serviert, die sehr vielfältig sind. Aber dennoch sind die Preise in Ordnung. Ich hatte die Rigatoni mit Soja Bolognese von der Wochenkarte, sie waren sehr lecker. Perfekt gewürzt, gut angerichtet und super guter Preis. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend in einem gut besuchten, leckeren Restaurant in Bayreuth! Einfach Top! Ich komme gerne wieder und werde die ganze Karte probieren.

Wir fanden Kraftraum in Tripadvisor und wollten telefonisch reservieren, kamen aber nicht durch. Also spontan hin, dort die Erklärung von der Bedienung: sehr viel los. Erst sah sie keine Chance für uns, letztlich platzierte sie uns an einem Ausstelltisch neben der Theke. Lokal: tolles Ambiente, ein Mix aus Möbeln und Lampen, Sessel/Sofas neben Esstischen, Wände unterschiedlich tapeziert/dekoriert, viel zum Schauen während das Essen zubereitet wird. Großes vegetarisches/veganes Angebot! Schnell auf dem Tisch und sehr lecker. Zwischendurch Wechsel der Bedienung, beide sehr freundlich. Logische Folge: später am Abend nochmal reingeschaut auf einen "Absacker".

Ein sehr gemütliches Café. Hatte dort mein Geburtstagsfrühstück. Sehr nettes Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück, angenehme Atmosphäre. Rundum ein gelungener Tag. Gerne wieder.

Cafe Kraftraum bietet in der Innenstadt von Bayreuth eine gute Möglichkeit den Tag mit einem guten Frühstück zu beginnen. Ich hatte das Frühstücksmenü Hamburg mit Käse, Wurst, Ei und verschiedenen Brötchen in Bioqualität. Wie Vegatarier sind aber auch viele Frühstücksvarianten da. Im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen.

Ich war zum Frühstücken dort. Das Essen war in Ordnung und hatte teilweise lustige Namen. Leider war es sehr schwierig, die Aufmerksamkeit der Angestellten zu erregen, um nachzubestellen oder zahlen zu können. Man braucht also viel Geduld.

Nach langem Warten war das Frühstück zwar gut, die zahlreichen Wespen haben den Genuss jedoch sehr getrübt (und nicht nur unseren). Auf mehrfache Nachfrage wurden wir (und mehrere andere Gäste) nicht in den Gastraum gelassen, da "nur mit Reservierung" (der Raum war komplett leer). Man könnte einfach draußen weniger Tische bereitstellen (die ohnehin ausnahmslos als "Reserviert" markiert waren und nach und nach an Laufkundschaft vergeben wurden) oder zumindest ein paar Wespenfallen aufstellen?? (Bei uns haben sie sich am Ende zahlreich im Sirup für die Pancakes gebadet...)

Sehr süß eingerichtets Kaffee. Sehr teuer und meine Bestellung wurde nicht richtig aufgenommen.

Gutes Frühstück (Rührei mit Gemüse), restriktiver Umgang mit dem Vollkornbrot (eine Scheibe pro Portion muß genügen). Ein resoluter Kellner führt das Regiment; ohne Reservierung gibt es Plätze nur im Gastgarten, den allerdings auch die Wespen für sich beanspruchen.

Soooooooo lecker... Wir hatten Nudelgerichte, die total interessante Zutaten hatten und fantastisch geschmeckt haben. Leider wohnen wir 5 Autostunden entfernt, sonst wären wir regelmäßig da. Auf der Rückreise vom nächsten Urlaub bestimmt wieder 💯
