Update 16.07.2026: es war Mal wieder ein wunderbarer Abend. Junge, Junge! Mein absoluter Lieblings-Pub in Nürnberg. Gemütlich... guter Service... leckere Getränke... und auch das Essen kann ich sehr empfehlen. Wenn ich in Nürnberg bin, ist das O`Sheas meine erste Anlaufstelle.

Wer kaltes Fleisch mag, ist hier willkommen Wir haben 2 Salate mit Steakstreifen bestellt. Als der Salat serviert wurde, hat das Fleisch schon etwas vertrocknet ausgeschaut. Ich habe dann nur mal mit dem Finger an einen Steakstreifen hingelangt und festgestellt, dass es kalt war. Also nicht warm, lauwarm… es war kalt. Zudem waren auf beiden Tellern die Steakstreifen kalt. Nach der Reklamation bei der Bedienung kam diese nach 5 Minuten wieder und sagte, dass der Koch keinen neuen Salat macht. Das Fleisch bei einem Salat ist aufgrund des Dressings kalt und da kann er auch nichts machen. Wir können ja was anderen bestellen oder eben kalte Steakstreifen haben. So etwas dummes habe ich noch nie gehört, dass das Fleisch wegen dem Dressing kalt ist, zudem die oberen Stücke damit gar nicht in Berührung kommen. Der Koch ist schlichtweg kein Koch, sonst würde er keinen solchen Blödsinn reden. Der kann vielleicht ein fettiges Fish & Chips aus der Fritteuse noch einigermaßen warm servieren, aber sonst kann er offensichtlich gar nichts. Auf der anderen Seite ist es ja vielleicht sogar eine Kunst bei 33°C Außentemperatur deutlich kältere Steakstreifen zu servieren 😉 Wir haben das lokal verlassen. Die Bedienung hat sich auch für den Koch entschuldigt und selbst gesagt, dass sie das Fleisch angelangt hat und bestätigt, dass es kalt war. Die Bedienung war selbst erstaunt über die Reaktion, kann aber natürlich für so einen „Anti-Koch“ auch nichts. Dieses Lokal kann man somit getrost vergessen. Ein absolutes „Lowlight“ in jeder Hinsicht und keinen Besuch wert.

Sehr schöne Location außen wie innen. Service super freundlich, hat uns den Würfelbecher, den wir vergessen hatten, 300m hinterher gebracht. Immer wieder ein Guinness wert 🍻

Ihr sucht das Beste Irish Pub im Umkreis? Look no further! Das Beste Bier, super Pub-Food und die Atmosphäre ist unschlagbar. Egal ob drinnen oder draußen. Allerdings ist es drinnen fast noch besser vor allem wenn es am Abend voll wird und sich echte Pub-Stimmung breit macht. Und selbst wenn es Stressig ist, ist das Personal immer freundlich und ja, manchmal dauert es eine Minute länger. Aber nehmt euch die Zeit, genießt die Atmosphäre und dazu ein gutes Bier. Wer hier nicht seinen 'inneren Iren' entdeckt, dem ist nicht zu helfen 😀

Wenn Sie einen Ort mit jungem und freundlichem Personal suchen, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Meiden Sie andere Orte mit mürrischen älteren Leuten, die kein Englisch sprechen. Hier werden Sie sich als Tourist willkommen fühlen.

Gute Location bei schönem Wetter kann man gut draussen sitzen und es gibt Cider und Guiness.

Seeeehhhrrr gemütliches, rustikales und schönes Pub. Besonders das dunklige Ambiente im Gewölbe verleiht dem Pub einen besonderen Charme. Manchmal etwas sehr voll vom Kinopublikum, vom Kino neben an. Das Pubfood schmeckt sehr gut 😏. Ein besonderer Highlight ist der wunderschöne Biergarten an der Pegnitz.

Das Personal war sehr unhöflich; es schien verärgert über die Gäste zu sein, und wir brauchten 25 Minuten, nur um unsere Bestellung aufzugeben, und dann bekamen wir nicht einmal Untersetzer. Außerdem mussten wir erst jemanden suchen, um nach einer Speisekarte zu fragen

Wir haben während unserer Nürnberg-Reise zweimal hier gegessen und getrunken. Beide Male waren Essen, Bier und Service hervorragend. Auch die Atmosphäre war super. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Schöner Pub und für ein Trinkgelage echt super. Sehr Freundliches Personal! Tolle Getränkeauswahl. zum Whisky Trinken und essen würde ich allerdings nicht kommen. Das Essen wirkte wie aus der TK Abteilung und nicht sonderlich liebevoll dargestellt.

Schönes Ambiente, Getränke meistens lecker jedoch kann das nicht den mangelnden Service ausgleichen, man wartet ewig zahlen zu können und es wurden teilweise falsche Getränke geliefert.

Ich gehe schon seit Jahren in diesen Pub. Es ist der beste Irish Pub der Stadt.

Tolle Atmosphäre, gemütlich und rustikal eingerichtet. Kellergewölbe. Deutsch und Englischsprachige Bedienung. Grosse Auswahl an Whisky und Gin, leckere Biere vom Fass. Hunde dürfen an der Leine mit in den Pub. War recht voll für Karfreitag, besser ist zu reservieren, wenn man dort essen möchte. Biergarten hatte noch geschlossen, liegt aber sehr schön mit Blick auf die Pegnitz.

Ich war mit meinen Freundinnen dort und grundsätzlich hat es uns gut gefallen – die Location ist schön und die Leute waren auch nett. Beim Bezahlen gab es allerdings Probleme: Jede von uns hatte eine Rechnung von etwa 5 €, wir konnten jedoch nicht jeweils mit einem 50-Euro-Schein bezahlen, da zu wenig Wechselgeld vorhanden war. Daraufhin habe ich angeboten, alles zusammen (ca. 15 €) mit einem 50-Euro-Schein zu zahlen, aber auch das war nicht möglich. Um das Ganze nicht unnötig in die Länge zu ziehen, wollte ich schließlich mit Karte bezahlen – das ging allerdings erst ab 15 €, während unsere Rechnung bei etwa 14,50 € lag. Am Ende blieb ein Trinkgeld von 50 Cent übrig, das ich zwar grundsätzlich gegeben hätte, aber in dem Moment wirkte es eher so, als hätte man keine andere Wahl. Diese Erfahrung macht es ehrlich gesagt aus, dass ich ungern nochmal kommen würde.

Phew, that's tough. So, first things first. Three stars is when something is exactly as expected. Four when it's better, and five when there are extras or when you definitely wouldn't expect this level of quality in this kind of setting—in a good way. So, what you get here: fun, good vibes, a good mix of music genres and decades. The seating is comfortable. Service is OK, as expected. The ambiance is nicely rustic and stands out. Drinks: a great selection, especially if you like Irish food. Which is what you'd expect from this place. But I'd give it four stars for drinks because it's not just the same old thing you get in every pub that calls itself "Irish." Food... There are a few signature dishes for Ireland. Three in total. If one of those three gets downgraded to a second-rate quality, it obviously has a huge impact. The fish and chips were... well, edible. Three tiny bits of dry fish on a pile of chips. That doesn't deserve more than two stars. And regardless of the rest of the menu, if an Irish signature dish in an Irish restaurant falls this far short... If you're not there for the food but for Irish drinks and a pleasant evening, you'll find what you're looking for. But if you're looking for a proper meal, definitely avoid the fish and chips. Fish and chips – the fish was overfried, dry inside and hard on the outside. The fries weren't crispy and were too dry. The best thing about the meal was the vinegar.

We went to the pub after seeing the cinema. Taking our order took quite a while, but the service was very quick. Great atmosphere. It was very crowded during the pre-Christmas period, but definitely worth a visit.

Guinness was on point! Also on the perfect temperature. Great bar, great atmosphere, great service and great prices. A little bit annoying that the minimum for card payment is 10 euros, but can’t complain having to drink another one…

Nice pub, but unfortunately terrible service. The dark-haired waitress treated us like hardened criminals because we supposedly hadn't paid for a meal. After she spread all the receipts out on the table in front of us and, after endless explanations and discussions, finally understood that she had made a mistake, she crumpled everything up and angrily threw the slips of paper in front of us. No apology for the error.

It's a bit jarring but the staff seems to HATE the customers. I was given looks and felt like I bothered them when I ordered. Otherwise, the place and atmosphere are perfect, making the whole experience incomprehensible to me.

Nice space, reasonable food, the WORST staff I've met in Germany. Lazy, unresponsive, almost contemptuous of their customers. Waited 10 minutes at a quiet bar before being served. Just horrible and ruined the place for me.

In essence, this is more than you'd dream of in an Irish pub. The ambiance (vaulted cellar) is lovely, and the bar is beautiful. Most of the staff are incredibly motivated and attentive, anticipating your every need. Despite being busy, drinks arrive quickly and reliably. However, it's frustrating that the owner is unaware of the monthly specials, which are even displayed near the entrance. Sorry, but I'm not about to spend €9.70 on a whiskey when the apparent owner can't even tell me where the stuff comes from. With his mustache, Prada chain, and black shirt, he stands out and leaves a bad taste in the mouths of experienced hospitality professionals. He doesn't even bother to tell you what song is currently playing, showing the bare minimum of respect. Naturally, he shows even less respect to his colleagues, constantly getting in their way. Otherwise, a great place, props to the team! :)

Yesterday we were here again! The pub was packed and many tables were reserved! We were looking for a table for four and asked a very friendly server who offered us a small table as a temporary solution! When a larger table became available and we tried to sit down, another employee seated two people at it! When I told him that the table was actually meant for us, he said no, it was reserved! Which it wasn't! I immediately told him that this was unfriendly and poor service, which he confirmed with a cheeky grin! Unfortunately, a plate then fell off our table, which he brought up again when we paid with a snarky "Thanks for the broken plate!" Such staff is an outrage for guests and other employees! In my establishment, he would have been fired! It's a shame, but we'll be looking for a different pub in the future!

I've been here several times before and usually enjoy coming here whenever I'm in town. This time, however, I was really disappointed. The staff seemed incredibly stressed and barely paid any attention to the guests. It's perfectly fine to have to wait a few minutes – but at least a quick glance or a sign that I was being acknowledged would have been nice. When I finally ordered my whisky, the bottle was almost empty. They poured me the last bit, and I had the impression that the glass was significantly less full than usual. Later, I saw a new bottle being opened at the bar – I would have preferred to wait another minute and get the full drink I paid for. Overall, it's a shame, because I usually like the atmosphere. But after this visit, I probably won't be coming back.

Excellent place! The food doesn’t look particularly great, so it’s better to stick to some snacks, but what you really come here for are the great beers. The pub is beautiful and has a very traditional vibe, with nice decoration and a cozy atmosphere. The staff is quick and attentive, even though they forgot my order at first, they handled it very politely and brought what was missing right away. I recommend making a reservation because the place gets quite busy. I was lucky to find a table without one. Prices are fair, and I think this is definitely a place I’ll come back to.

Draught beer is awesome and food was great, although I just ate a salad. Prices are reasonable and the location is nice. I'll go next time as well.

The Irish stew is exactly perfect in every way. Lamb cooked perfectly, doesn’t need seasoning, veggies cooked perfectly, and the broth was exactly what it should be. The whiskey selection is about the best you’ll find in Germany, although I’m not super well traveled here.

On weekends, it's open from 2 p.m., and we love dining here and enjoying the Black Velvet (with Strongbow Cider). In summer, the beer garden by the Pegnitz River is a lovely place to sit, but the indoor area in the cellar vault is also atmospheric. If you're planning on visiting after 6 p.m., you should reserve a table. We also highly recommend the partner pub, Finnegan's Harp, which we also enjoy visiting.

Here you’ll also find the coldest and best-tasting Guinness in town — and, more recently, even Guinness 0.0% has been added to the menu. The vibe is friendly — staff often chat with guests in a casual, cheerful way, with jokes and small talk, so you quickly feel at home. Regular visitors are remembered, and relationships often grow into genuine friendships. During peak hours service can slow down and small mistakes happen, but the team usually keeps a smile and a warm attitude, which balances out the delays. It’s also worth noting that this is one of the few places where drinks are served almost instantly in most cases — you rarely wait long at the bar, and even at the tables drinks are usually brought out fairly quickly. This stood out especially on St. Patrick’s Day: the pub was packed, the atmosphere loud and chaotic, yet a few waitresses still managed the tables professionally, while the bartenders worked fast and efficiently, taking orders and serving drinks without delay. All in all, it’s a great place for a fun evening with friends or to soak up the festive energy of an Irish pub — just keep in mind that on peak days, a bit of patience may be required.

We sat down for a bit and had a drink after a stroll through the city. When I visited, there were plenty of tables and chairs available, but the seating was a bit cramped. I also had a wooden chair that had a "wooden butt" left over. Cushions would be a nice addition.

I had a great time with my colleagues. Ordered Chicken Tandoori but it was nothing like the original chicken tandoori. It was just white rice with not-so-well-cooked chicken with some gravy. Over all it was ok.

I was last here about 20 years ago, and nothing has changed. The food is wonderful, especially the mushrooms. The beer is freshly tapped and tasty. The only thing I could possibly criticize is that the staff could be a bit fussy. But after all these years, I have absolutely no regrets about eating and drinking here again. 😍😍😍

Since people from the Eastern European war zone began working in your service department, the service has become unacceptable. I have often observed, most recently recorded in detail on July 20, 2025, between approximately 6 p.m. and approximately 9:30 p.m., how your aforementioned employees repeatedly lingered at the tables of their fellow countrymen for long periods of time during their working hours, consuming drinks, smoking, laughing, and talking with their fellow countrymen during their working hours, thereby neglecting their work and ignoring other guests. Furthermore, your employees are very loud in their private conversations with each other in their native language. They look directly at you and ignore you, continuing to talk loudly among themselves, laughing, and preferentially serving the tables of their fellow countrymen. Your employees also take an above-average amount of time to check out waiting guests. Your current team is alienating your regulars with their extremely negative behavior! Is this still an Irish pub or an Eastern European bistro?

A classic Irish pub with a beer garden on the Pegnitz River. The menu features many Irish classics, such as Shepherd's Pie and Irish Stew, which are well worth trying. The pub itself has a beautiful vaulted cellar and is decorated very realistically like a typical Irish pub. The staff is relaxed, uncomplicated, and friendly, and prices are reasonable for all budgets. The beer garden on the Pegnitz River is a must-have, especially in summer. If you like coziness with an Irish flair, this is the place for you.

Came at a busy night but the bartenders were great and the crowd is super nice. Had a few strangers make small talk with me. I came in right before midnight and luckily they asked the kitchen if I could have wings still so that's a win in my book.

Beautiful location on the Pegnitz River, but the service was extremely unfriendly. Everything was available, no reservations were made, but we were forced to sit in the sun and weren't allowed to put tables together.

Irish Pub with great atmosphere and a super Irish Session every Monday from 7.30pm except the first Monday of the month

First we waited over 30 minutes for our order to be taken, then another 45 minutes for the drinks and finally an hour to pay.

Very good food, but unfortunately, we were "kicked out" after two hours because the table was reserved for the next guests. Unfortunately, they didn't inform us when making the reservation that we only had one time slot... What a shame...

Pleasant beer garden with a view of the old town and the Pegnitz. In addition to German beer, there is also the well-known Guinness and a red ale. The Irish stew and the fish'n chips can compete very well with the dishes in Ireland. In addition to ketchup and mayonnaise, you can also get the Malt Vinegar, which is typical for Ireland/GB, for the chips. The beer garden and the restaurant are definitely recommended.

The bathroom is kind of a pain if you sit outside. Expect a 5 to 10 min wait for your drinks outside. The location is their Achilles heel, sit on the river and shut up. Their outside service only works bc of the location.

Absolute recommendation. Always nice staff who keep an overview even in busy times. Rustic atmosphere - just like you would want in a pub. Enjoy your meal. Reasonable prices.
