sehr gute "gut bürgerliche Küche"mit ausgezeichneten Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Es ist eher schlicht, aber es liegt eben in einer Kleingarten Kolonie, da passt es schon.

Gestern waren wir in Nürnberg unterwegs und wollten spontan etwas essen gehen. Durch Zufall sind wir dabei auf die Gaststätte Baggerloch gestoßen – und waren wirklich begeistert. Da wir keinen Tisch für den Biergarten reserviert hatten, bekamen wir zunächst einen Platz im Innenbereich. Als draußen später Gäste gingen, durften wir aber unkompliziert nach draußen wechseln. Bei dem tollen Wetter war das natürlich perfekt. Der Biergarten ist wunderschön gestaltet und bietet auch im Hochsommer angenehm schattige Plätze. Das Essen war absolut lecker, schön angerichtet und kam erstaunlich schnell. Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe gearbeitet wird. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Für uns definitiv ein kleiner Geheimtipp in Nürnberg – eine Reservierung ist vor allem bei schönem Wetter auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Nachdem es lange aus unterschiedlichsten Gründen nicht geklappt hat, hatten wir jetzt endlich einen Tisch für 3 reservieren können und den Spätnachmittag / Abend im Baggerloch-Biergarten sehr genossen. Der Empfang durch den Wirt war freundlich, die Bedienung war nett und schnell, und unsere Speisen waren sehr lecker, ehrliche Hausmannskost ohne Schnickschnack, dafür frisch und ausgezeichnet zubereitet. Die Preise sind absolut fair, und in dem kleinen, mit Sonnen-/Regenschirmen geschützten Biergarten kann man wunderbar den Abend ausklingen lassen. Wir kommen mit Sicvherheit gerne wieder! Ich war vor kurzem im Restaurant Baggerloch in Nürnberg und habe gemischte Erfahrungen gemacht, daher vergebe ich insgesamt 3 Sterne. Das Essen war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, allerdings finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis recht hoch – vor allem dafür, dass das Restaurant eher versteckt liegt und nicht zentral erreichbar ist. Da hätte ich mir entweder bessere Qualität oder angemessenere Preise gewünscht. Was meinen Besuch jedoch deutlich getrübt hat, war der Service. Ein Mitarbeiter im Service ist mir besonders negativ aufgefallen: sehr arrogant und hochnäsig im Umgang mit Gästen. Wenn man etwas fragt, bekommt man gefühlt grundsätzlich eine schnippische oder dumme Antwort. Meiner Meinung nach hat so ein Verhalten im Service nichts zu suchen, da man sich als Gast willkommen fühlen möchte. Insgesamt also ein durchschnittlicher Besuch mit deutlichem Verbesserungspotenzial, vor allem im Bereich Service.

Tolles Essen super Ambiente auch super zum abschalten die Chefin und Bedienung sind Menschen nah und echt Toll immer wieder gerne gehe ich mit Familie und Freunden hin Besonders empfehlenswert!

Eine gute Gastsstätte mit fränkischer Küche. Sie liegt versteckt in der Kleingarten Siedlung in Gleißhammer. Das Essen schmeckt, die Preise sind annehmbar. Im Sommer ist der Biergarten ein Geheimtipp. Am Wochenende ist eine Reservierung empfohlen.

Es liegt versteckt in einer wunderschönen Kleingartenanlage! Bitte bitte lasst euch diesen lokalen Gaumenschmaus nicht entgehen! Das Essen war absolut empfehlenswert! Der Inhaber unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend! Das Lokal ist urig eingerichtet, passend zur Gegend! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon auf das gute Essen!!

Delicious Franconian food. Great service. The carp fillet was superb. We even got crispy carp on request. They're currently raising money for Nuremberg Children's Cancer Aid by selling homemade Christmas cookies. They're really delicious, too. Worth supporting.

I've loved this restaurant for years. The beer garden is fantastic, although not wheelchair accessible. They offer a wide selection of regional and seasonal dishes. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is clean. Reservations are recommended.

We were more than thrilled with the atmosphere. It's as if you were sitting in your own dream garden, under large walnut trees, surrounded by vines and oleander. The service was sensational: attentive, thoughtful, and patient. The food was also very good – a good selection for vegetarians, but our in-laws, who love home-cooked food, also found plenty of traditional meat dishes. A side note: The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. You have to climb approximately 20 steps to enjoy this fine cuisine.

The Baggerloch restaurant in Gleishammer, near Zeltner Castle, is a quaint inn located in an allotment garden colony. The garden is beautiful, with its mature trees. The flowers are lovingly tended. The hosts make every effort to ensure their guests' comfort. The food is home-cooked and very good. Large portions and excellent value for money. In the summer, there's a lovely garden restaurant.

I don't understand the negative reviews. We stopped by Baggerloch today at lunchtime on a public holiday without an appointment. We only had a drink, and were greeted and served in a very friendly manner. We'll be back. We're looking forward to it. See you soon... keep it up.

The food is always good. However, anyone who arrives an hour before closing time with the desire for a drink will be rudely turned away by the junior manager, who says, "We're closing right now!" Overall: good food, terrible staff.

A cozy restaurant with a lovely beer garden on the edge of an allotment garden community. The food is good, plentiful, and relatively inexpensive. If you're walking or cycling past Zeltner Castle, it's worth stopping by. You'll be served quickly and friendly.

We've been coming to the Baggerloch for many years and have never been disappointed. Excellent food, a family-friendly atmosphere, and superb service that caters to our children's special requests. That's why we celebrated our little daughter's baptism here at Easter. The Baggerloch gave us an unforgettable day with beautiful table decorations and first-class service. 😍

Try the Papanas. The lamb roast is again something to taste. I recommend with confidence. It is parked right in front of the restaurant. They also have a children's menu. German and Romanian are also spoken.

People still enjoyed going to this long-established garden restaurant, ordering something hearty, chatting with the innkeepers and feeling welcome. Today you get a special kind of experience - let's call it: "culinary disappointment meets paid education". When I tried to drink a simple hot drink outside - while standing, mind you, as a short break - I was immediately greeted with a sharply didactic tone: card payments only from 20 euros, please! No exception, no friendly smile, just the subtext: “What are you actually doing here with your small coffee order?” Well, okay. Anyone who relies so consistently on old times is also counting on German marks. The fact that the prices have since then been converted into euros and then again using the city center multiplier becomes apparent when you look at the menu: 17.50 euros for a chicken salad that, in terms of appearance and taste, oscillates somewhere between the canteen and the finished product. Iceberg lettuce, three tomatoes, a few slices of cucumber - all bathed in sweet ready-made vinaigrette. If only it were at least an ironic retro concept. This restaurant used to be a place of coziness, but today it seems more like a mixture of a defiant reaction to modern gastronomy and a price list in high spirits. If you value value for money and don't want to feel like a supplicant, you'll definitely find better alternatives - even without the romanticism of the garden fence.

Were here today on Easter Monday, had reserved a table for 1 p.m. on Thursday last week and, after asking, we were confirmed by phone that it was open today. We were there at 12.40 and the doors were locked. A young man spoke to us and said that it was closed today. How can you accept a reservation and ask us what we would like to eat when you are not even open?? This is an absolute disgrace and we will not recommend this restaurant!!

Great Franconian cuisine with a price/performance ratio that unfortunately doesn't happen often anymore, especially in the city. Everything my wife and I ate tasted the way we wanted it to. :-) In winter it is “rustically cozy” inside with lots of wood. And the garden in summer is simply a dream to sit outside. We now live in the Upper Palatinate, but the Baggerloch is always worth a detour.

Delicious food and a wonderful garden, I give the three stars for the ambience for the mix of inside (2 stars) and outside (5 stars). When the weather is good in summer, this is always a recommendation. Otherwise, I have already ordered and picked up food for home a few times.

What a great surprise: This little pearl of a beer garden and restaurant is idyllically hidden near the Zeltner Castle. The service was very friendly, courteous and professional. Thank you for that. The food (home-style German/Franconian/Bavarian cuisine) was really tasty. Good job in the kitchen. The ambience is great. Very cozy and, especially in summer, a great place to end the day. Clear recommendation and see you next time.

A classic allotment garden canteen with a beautifully landscaped garden area, mixed audience from very young to old... The tables and chairs were clean despite the blooming season, and the staff was professionally friendly despite the stress. The drinks came quickly, the food took a while, but still within reason. The cooking here is still fresh. The food we saw in passing all looked delicious. Good portions, nicely presented. There was nothing to complain about with our food (cordon bleu & pork chop), the craftsmanship and taste were very good. We got exactly what we expected, solid, traditional Franconian cuisine! The interior rooms and toilets were not visited, so I can't write anything about them. Conclusion: going for Franconian food is high on our list

Good Franconian cuisine with a rustic atmosphere and great service. Somewhat remote on the edge of an allotment garden settlement. There are a few parking spaces available, otherwise you have to park along the fairly narrow street. At the entrance there are a few stairs down, so not suitable for wheelchair users. A major strength is the outdoor area, which invites you to eat and relax and is fantastic when the weather is good. Drinks and food were at the table quickly and the service was great. There are selected daily specials (different from the menu) that are highly recommended. Card payment is possible. Price-wise it was okay for us. We can recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately too expensive for the portions and the food was cold. After we asked the waitress about it, she was no longer friendly. And we only saw her to pay.

We were there last week with our hiking group of regulars. Fast, friendly and very, very tasty. Franconian cuisine dominates, the chef can do it! The price is probably a little above average for restaurants in allotment colonies, but absolutely not unreasonable. Clear recommendation!

Was there 2 weeks ago as a guest at a christening party. There was coffee and cake followed by a 3-course menu. The food as well as the service was great. I would definitely like to come back soon to spend time in the idyllic beer garden when the temperatures are warmer.
