Olta Fish House in Berlin

We walked in on New Year’s Eve without reservation, they made place for us. Food was incredible: they know what they do. What I liked the most, was that we wanted to order an Espresso Martini Cocktail, they did not serve that, but wanted to make it for us. And if we didn’t like it, it was for free. And even when full with guest, food arrived very quickly, with confirmation if you wanted it that fast or wait. Best service and food there is. If you are in Berlin, I most certainly advise to eat here!

The food is very good. But… Unfortunately, you have to pay an entrance fee of €20 per person if you want to listen to live music. With raki, meze, and everything, you end up paying around €100 per person, which is quite steep. Now for the negatives. You have to pay an entrance fee even though I'm paying €100 just for food and drinks. The waiters don't seem to care about you, and you have to wave them around ten times to get your order. The waiters don't know which table each order is for, and it gets passed around from table to table, and by the time you get it, it's cold. The waiters are changing shifts, and you have to pay your bill while you're eating. Now for the best part!!! There's neither coffee nor tea. Dear restaurateur, everyone knows that where raki is served, there's tea or Turkish coffee. But apparently, there isn't any when there's live music. What a shame.

Affordable, delicious & friendly! I only discovered FischFrank this week, and then we cycled here from Wedding today. Everything was perfect 👍. Depending on the fish, you can choose between homemade remoulade or aioli. Thanks for the delicious fish rolls 🐟. We ate two there, two others, and took more to go. And we can only echo what others have said. We'll definitely be back. My favorite today was the "Sherry M" 😉👍

Sounds promising, but doesn't deliver. The oysters and mussels were wonderful, but the rest was unfortunately disappointing. The ceviche was boring. Very small plates, but high prices. It seemed uninspired and random, with no real common thread. The service was too arrogant for me. There was no recommendation or advice about the wine, and the plates were carelessly placed in a very odd order. If the tipping expectations aren't met, you are treated condescendingly as a guest. That hasn't happened to me in a long time. I had high expectations and, unfortunately, I'm not sad that I can't do this again.
