Delphin Fisch & Steak in Berlin

Once a year we treat ourselves as a family to a visit to the dolphin. You can eat first-class fish here. There is a counter where you can choose your fresh fish, but you can also eat very well à la carte. For vegetarians or even vegans, the menu looks lean. The ambience is pleasant and the service is friendly. The toilets are clean, but not as stylish as the guest room. I don't know whether there are wheelchair-accessible toilets, but the restaurant itself is at ground level and probably has no steps. I'm not entirely sure. The prices are certainly reasonable, but already at the upper limit for a family restaurant. We recently paid 200 euros for 2 starters, 5 main courses, 3 desserts, a glass of wine and 6 non-alcoholic drinks. 40€ per head. The desserts are delicious, although I wish the chocolate sauce used as decoration was a tad better. I still have to give a little warning. On the menu is Șalgan Suyu - a fermented beetroot juice. This is in my top ten most disgusting things I've ever had in my mouth. It is reminiscent of our organic waste bin in midsummer. Maybe funny as a test of courage, but definitely not enjoyable. Still, Delphin is definitely worth a visit!

A nice young lady recommended Dorade Royal to me, which she said wasn't on the menu. She probably had the foresight not to say that the fish costs €40. After that I spent the night on the toilet, as well as the next morning. I guess the reason they praised the fish so much was because they knew it was old. never been there again since then.

I made the dish “Fill me up!” Ordered for €32.90 and was unfortunately very disappointed. The portion was far too small for the price and didn't live up to the name at all - it certainly won't fill you up. Additionally, the fish was very fatty and obviously fried in cheap oil, which greatly affected the taste. I expected more quality and a reasonable portion. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet my expectations and is not worth the money. The drinks prices are also overpriced: a bottle of beer here costs €6, which I think is far too expensive. Overall, the price-performance ratio in the “Delphin” restaurant is disappointing.

Excellent! We had the daily fish special (sea bass), amongst other plates and it was all delicious. Very fresh and tasty food. Tiramisu was excellent too. Service wonderful.

I was there for having my dinner. It has a good atmosphere of having time with family and friends. Employees were friendly and helpful. Few items has chicken in mix. Otherwise most of the food items are with fish. Calm and quiet place. Price is moderate. Not that much cheaper. I will recommend to visit the place.

The restaurant looks very interesting and inviting from the outside. The restaurant aggressively promotes its products as being absolutely fresh. The prices are correspondingly high. I've wanted to try it for a long time and now the time has come. It started off disappointingly. The assigned service staff had no training. No smile, no hello. The order was taken with apparent indifference; sometimes it had to be shown on the menu which dish was desired. At the end everything was repeated because Madame had no writing materials. The gentleman present, me, spoke in the third person. “And he wants this, that.” Already unnerved by the order, I would have liked to have left. No etiquette whatsoever and no block about it - who explained her job to this woman. Things continued disappointingly. The soup only came after 30 minutes. It should be a shrimp and chanterelle soup. In fact it was an unseasoned roux, absolutely disgusting. No mushrooms in it, no shrimp. For €6 a portion. When asked about this, the waitress explained in a cliché manner, “That’s how it is with us.” Yes, of course, canım, if Alman doesn't like it, it's his fault, never the Turkish chef's fault, logo. I say: There are no shrimp in there! She gets her colleague. He also wants to explain to me that this is how it is “with us”. Sure, what does Alman know about mushroom soup? After a short, stupid discussion he left and came back 5 minutes later... with a saucer with some raw shrimp on it. I'm sorry, what? I had him clear up all the nonsense, but that didn't work at all. Disgusting, tasteless flour soup for €6. Incredible. Another 20 minutes later a small mixed salad arrived. Mine had dressing, my wife's didn't. Here, too, a complaint had to be made. Two salads for one table - one comes out with dressing, one without. Don't these people know what they're doing? The main course soon arrived. I had a shrimp skewer with potatoes and vegetables on the side. The skewer was excellent, as was the sauce, which is what you would expect for €20. Potatoes ok, but what was that? A dollop of frozen imperial vegetables? I thought everything was fresh here? But peas and carrots come from the freezer? Boy boy, that also raises doubts about the freshness of the leftover products. My wife ordered salmon tagliatelle in cream sauce. Instead of cream sauce there was oil, lots of oil. Hunger drove it in, but she didn't enjoy it. When the final bill was ordered, the boss apparently came and asked about the problems. He apologized for the soup. Ok, at least one here shows greatness. My wife showed him the oil plate. The boss was just about to start with "with us" when he noticed that the wrong food had been delivered and it couldn't be normal how much oil was floating on the plate. He was visibly embarrassed and mumbled an apology. The soup wasn't on the bill, but the wrong food was delivered (what kind of dish is salmon noodles in an oil bath?). No offer of dessert or drinks on the house. It doesn't seem necessary. My wife complained for hours about the disgusting taste of fat in her mouth. I can't recommend the store at all. Overpriced and unprofessional.

Food is absolute trash. This restaurant is full and the service act like they have the stress of their lives. No idea why people come here. Fish died at least twice, the sides are warmed up frozen vegetables. The salad and bread supposed to come with the dish never arrived. After complaining "we should have said it earlier". By the way it's not cheap. Avoid.

Restaurant ligger tæt på vores hotel så vælger at prøve det af. De tilbyder en stor fisk og skaldyr menu. Betjening er god og opmærksom. Vi vælger en variation of retter og det smager godt, men bær præg af enkelhed og ikke så meget smag. Men hvis man kan lide fisk så skal det prøves. Stedet kan anbefales.

Vi droppet innom fordi denne restauranten lå rett over gaten for hotellet vårt. Vi ble møtt av hyggelig personale, og fikk rask servering. Bestilte helgrillet fisk som smakte nydelig. Vårt bord lå ute på en liten uteplass. Mye trafikk i området, men det er ikke annet å forvente i en travel by. Ønsker man mer ro bør det velges bord innendørs, som så veldig koselig ut.

Had dinner there with friends. A friend suggested it. We ordered a small (0.2) Kiba for our daughter. Wasn't on the map. Since that wasn't enough, I added a small (again 0.2l) apple spritzer afterwards. It was only on the menu in 0.4l for €5.20. When it comes to the bill, it's awesome. The small Kiba cost €4.50 and the spritzer cost another €4.40. Please what?!?! That was the first time I didn't tip a cent. How can you be so cheeky?! Unbelievable...

Berlin and fish dishes?! It works! If the attentive service recognizes the guest's hunger shortly before the kitchen closes despite the late Friday evening hour and quickly conjures up a juicy sea bream from the grill to the table, then there is a well-deserved 5-star+ rating. I'll definitely come back to enjoy the menu on the sunny terrace.

Ich hatte meine Eltern zu Pfingsten zu Besuch in Berlin und wie immer wollten wir guten Fisch essen. Mit Delphin Fisch & Steak haben wir einen hervorragenden Ersatz zum geschlossenen Seaside gefunden. Man darf sich vom Außeneindruck nicht abschrecken lassen. Das Innere zeugt von einer geschmacklichen Einrichtung, einer Theke für frischen Fisch und eine offene Küche. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und ging auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse professionell und einfühlsam ein. Alle Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt und der Geschmack ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten uns alle für das Wolfsbarsch Filet mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln entschieden. Dazu gab es Salat, frisches warmes Brot und 3 unterschiedliche Dips. Jeder weiß, wer hochwertigen und frischen Fisch essen möchte, weiß das soetwas nicht günstig sein kann. Dennoch bewerte ich es mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Jeder der guten Fisch zu schätzen weiß sollte im Delphin Fisch & Steak einmal einkehren und sich selbst überzeugen.

I was visiting my parents in Berlin at Pentecost and, as always, we wanted to eat good fish. With Delphin Fisch & Steak we have found an excellent replacement for the closed Seaside. You shouldn't let the outside impression put you off. The interior shows tasteful furnishings, a fresh fish counter and an open kitchen. The service was very friendly and responded to personal needs professionally and sensitively. All special requests were fulfilled and the taste left nothing to be desired. We all chose the sea bass fillet with rosemary potatoes. There was also salad, fresh warm bread and 3 different dips. Everyone knows that anyone who wants to eat high-quality, fresh fish knows that something like this cannot be cheap. Nevertheless, I rate it as a very good price-performance ratio. Anyone who appreciates good fish should stop by Delphin Fisch & Steak and see for themselves.

Normally I don't like eating fish. I went to the restaurant with my girlfriend because she was hungry for fish. We went into the restaurant and I have to say, even though it's a fish restaurant, it didn't smell like fish at all. That was a sign for me that everything is fresh here. Then I looked at the fresh fish counter. The very fresh fish, especially the colorful fish, looked at me so sweetly that I really wanted to eat fish. I sought advice. Of course, you always have to trust the advice. I then had a surprise on my plate. After I ate, I learned that I ate diced monkfish with tomatoes and garlic sauce. It was excellent. Top top top. My friend ate red mullet from the pan. She said she knows the restaurant and it always tastes the same. Respect to the owner. Thank you, I'll be back.

Incredibly delicious food. We were there with a large group and we were all thrilled. We had different dishes and one was better than the other. We'll all be back. Simply great food and super nice service

I went for fish today. I chose a large wild sea bass from the fresh fish counter. The preparation was just right. The fish was cut into a butterfly shape and of course grilled just right. I had the kitchen prepare garlic chili sauce for me. For dessert I had homemade tiramisu. Anyone who knows anything about fish knows exactly that the price-performance ratio is great. If you want to eat rotten fish, you can eat cheaply somewhere else. Everything was very tasty and I'll definitely be back.

der Name dieses Restaurants verspricht nicht zu viel: es gibt hier hervorragenden frischen Fisch und auch wirklich gute Steaks. Ich habe bei unserem Besuch - obwohl ich eigentlich ein Fischliebhaber bin - ein Rumpsteak gewählt, und ich war sehr zufrieden. Auch der Thunfisch vom Grill, den meine Partnerin hatte war sehr gut! Der Service war auf zack und freundlich.

We are visiting from Hamburg and I have to say I have never eaten such delicious fish.. a 10 out of 10 for the chef and of course also for the staff, who are super nice and attentive.. I can really only recommend it. Top Keep it up. .. And of course the Raki with Salgam should not be missing..

Not recommended, I ordered Hamsi and they only packed vegetables and salad for me. When I got home I noticed it, I called and explained the situation. They wanted to look at the camera and get back to me. I'm still waiting.

the salmon was well done and the portion, including the sides were generous. I arrived closed to their closing time and opted for a take-away. it started to snow, which was rare for Berlin. I walked out of the restaurant to take some photos with my mobile phone. when I stepped back into the restaurant, my take-away was ready for collection. I paid using a credit card kept with my phone case, and left for my Mercury Moa Berlin hotel which was just across the street. horror of horrors, about an hour later after finishing my dinner back in my hotel, I realised I left my bag in the restaurant. I had my passport, camera, cash and other valuables in it. by then the restaurant had closed and all the staff had left. I somehow had peace in my heart that my bag would have been kept by the staff. I went back to the restaurant the next morning, and ho ho ho, the staff Kevin who attended to my order just reported for work, and promptly went to the office and brought my bag out for me. we intended to dine at the restaurant one the next few days, but unfortunately they would be closed for Christmas.

Absoluter Geheimtipp. Sind durch Zufall auf das Restaurant gestoßen, da es direkt neben unserem Hotel gelegen war. Der Service war klasse, die Qualität des Fisch wirklich in einer eigenen Liga. Die super Preis/Leistung krönt das ganze. Beim nächsten Berlin Besuch kommen wir wieder!

Essen war sehr gut. Die Preise aber auch . Das es in einem Steakrestaurant nur Steaks in homöopathischen Dosen gibt (200g) fand ich jetzt nicht so prickelnd. Na ja, würde dann vielleicht auch den preislichen Rahmen sprengen wenn man ein 900g Tomahawk Steak anbieten würde.

Der Service war großartig und die Atmosphäre könnte nicht besser sein. Der Grund für den einzigen Stern ist, dass ich noch nie einen Fisch für 95 € für 2 Personen gegessen habe. Wenn der Preis so hoch ist, sollte das Personal darüber informieren.

Zunächst einmal haben Sie Glück, wenn der Kellner Kevin sich um Ihren Tisch kümmert. sehr höflich und lächelnd. Wir bestellten den gemischten Fischteller, Calamari und Sardine. Zur Bestellung gab es einen Salat. Die gemischte Fischplatte war von durchschnittlicher Qualität. Tintenfisch war köstlich. Aber leider war die Sardine geschmacklos. Şalgam gut geschmeckt. Es hat meine Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllt, aber ich kann ihm noch eine Chance geben.🥲

It is such a nice and cozy place that serves great fish and seafood dishes. The fish and shrimp soup is warm, hearty, and tasty. The grilled tuna steak is perfectly cooked. The portion size is very generous. The staff are also very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Recommended.

Ich war mit meinen Eltern heute zum 2. Mal in diesem Restaurant. Auch diesmal waren wir sehr zufrieden. Allein der Salat, der mit warmen Brot serviert wird, mach den Besuch schon lohnenswert.Beim ersten Mal hatten wir Thunfisch und Schwertfisch, beides ein Gedicht, wobei der Thunfisch so zart und schmackhaft war, kein Vergleich zu den bisherigen Erlebnissen......Heute hatten wir Lachs und eine Platte für 2, auch das war sehr gelungen. Kellner und Koch sind sehr nett und schaffen eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre.....einziger Wehrmutstropfen, ich wollte einmal den frischen Tagesfisch probieren....im Gegensatz so den moderaten Preisen der Speisekarte war uns dass doch schon sehr teuer und nicht mehr in unserem Budget

Leider waren das Essen und der Wein enttäuschend. Das Zanderfilet hatte noch sehr viele Gräten, die Butter-Salbei-Soße schmeckte nicht im geringsten nach Salbei, das Gemüse war geschmacklos, so wie der Wein (laut Speisekarte ein trockener italienischer Rosee), der allerdings stolze 7,90 Euro kostete (0,2l).

This fish restaurant was right next to the conference hotel and I'm really glad that it was! The fish was super fresh and very delicious and the staff really made the experience - speaking excellent English, they made me feel very at home and were just really nice to be around. I know this restaurant is a bit out of the way, although it is right by the Westhafen and Birkenstrasse metro stations, but it is well worth the trip because of the great food and excellent service.

Das Essen war sehr lasch. Der Wunsch die Beilagen alle gegen einfachen Reis zu tauschen wurde nur durch gesonderte Zahlung akzeptiert (Salat, Gemüse und Kartoffeln weg - dafür einfachen Reis = 4,20€ Aufpreis). Das gleiche Spiel beim Essen meiner Frau. Sie wollte statt der Beilagen gerne einfach Kroketten = 5,50€ Aufpreis. Das haben wir noch nie erlebt. Das Restaurant samt Ambiente können wir absolut nicht empfehlen ! Nie wieder !
