We have been regular guests at Olive for many years. It's unbelievable what delicious original Neapolitan pizza Eddy serves here. Today I noticed once again that the pizza has become even better. Compliments to Eddy and his team. We feel very comfortable here, the service is very friendly and attentive. And the pizza is like in Italy. The best pizza I've ever eaten in Germany. An absolute recommendation!

Visiting for my father's birthday. Pizza really really great, highly recommended!!! We then asked for desserts and were recommended the homemade tiramisu. What came saw no ladyfingers, no espresso, and no amaretto. That was really nothing. Staff a bit slow as they are understaffed, but very kind and helpful. The price was right (and I will now leave the church in the village because of the tiramisus). If it passes, it's worth it

The food was - as always - delicious. However, the service was not up to scratch. Tables were not cleared promptly and we had to call the waiter to order further.

This restaurant is an absolute TOP address. Great location over 2 floors, modern and lovingly furnished. The owners and service staff are extremely personable and friendly. We felt absolutely comfortable. Oh well...the food... without exaggerating...they were the tastiest pizzas we've ever eaten. Incredibly good. Great foccacia first, fresh, homemade salad with a mega balsamic dressing and fantastic tiramisu afterwards. Thanks to the entire team for a perfect evening. We will definitely drive the 50 kilometers to Solingen again. TOP with 5*****

A very nice restaurant with friendly staff and very tasty food. The menu almost exclusively includes pizza, but there is a very large selection of it. The pizza was by far the best I've ever eaten and the starter was also outstanding. The only thing I would have liked was a small selection of pasta dishes, which are only available on the daily menu and not on the menu. Otherwise everything is perfect

I found this place completely by chance, and I must say that I was very surprised! The chef is Turkish, but his hands speak Italian! Best Neapolitan pizza I've ever eaten in Germany, very friendly and kind staff! And it's not expensive at all, in fact, for 3 people with 2 daisies and chicken salad, water and 2 cokes just over €60! I will become a regular customer💯

We had a special time at this restaurant that we came across by chance. Very friendly service, totally appealing, unusual menu, super high quality food and the staff particularly took the needs of larger groups and families/children into account.

Very cozy pizzeria in the city center of Solingen.

There is mainly pizza there. Then there are daily and lunch specials. We decided on spaghetti in a cream sauce and a pasta casserole. While the spaghetti was tasty, the casserole had little flavor. Maybe overcooked? 🤷 The dessert was delicious. The ambience was really great and atmospheric and the service was attentive and friendly.

Top pizzeria. Sure prices are a bit high but absolutely justified! Can only be recommended.

Service, cuisine and location: simply TOP! The Neapolitan pizza was excellent - authentic, with the best ingredients and a perfect dough that is rarely found. Pizza like in Naples. Baked in a wood oven, fluffy and topped with real mozzarella. Holiday feeling. The service is always courteous and friendly, no matter how big or small the order is. Grace ♡

We were there on Saturday and celebrated my dad's birthday and spontaneously got a place for 10 people after we couldn't eat in the other restaurant we had made a reservation because it was closed due to a fire. The service was great, the waitress was very friendly and accommodating ☺️. We felt really comfortable there. We were completely satisfied with the food and everything tasted very good! You got a lot of different starters (antipasti): various grilled vegetables, various types of sausage and cheese; Focaccia and dip. For main courses we had various pizzas and pasta. Everyone enjoyed it! We previously had a cake made and picked up somewhere else for my dad's birthday and it was even kept there and served later! Thank you! The price-performance ratio is more than good here! In the end everyone was happy and my dad had a very nice birthday party! If we are in Solingen again, we will definitely stop by again :)

We had reserved a place in a restaurant for our 70th birthday. Unfortunately there was a fire there and we had to reschedule. We called 4 other restaurants, all of which canceled us. I called here and the nice waitress made us a table straight away and we were able to get there minutes later. The food was delicious and the service was great. The price-performance ratio was really great. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. A big thank you again to the entire team for making this possible at such short notice and saving the birthday. I can recommend it to everyone with a clear conscience. We will definitely eat there more often.

Here you simply get the best pizza far and wide! I always like to try new restaurants but when I feel like pizza, it's always Olive! The ambience is completely ok, the service is sometimes a bit inattentive but always nice. It has happened several times that we have waited a long time for drinks or something else that we ordered, only to find out that they had been forgotten. But the pizza is still unbeatable and we go there regularly. To recommend!

Great pizza, but the price is quite ambitious for a city like Solingen.

The food was really delicious and the changing daily menu means you always have different dishes. Of course there is also a persistent card. The service is sometimes a bit sloppy but very friendly. The view of the Fronhof from the window isn't that great, but the atmosphere in the location itself is very appealing.

The best pizzas in NRW. There are also many special variants. And the salads are mega and you won't find them anywhere near as good as they are here. Staff really friendly and quick. Only recommended!

Price/performance isn't right, way too expensive... - for the pizzas as well as the drinks(!). And a really huge edge with no toppings, the topping is totally cold, as if it had been put on the pizza after baking, and also quite sparse. The restaurant is also very loud, but the service team at least makes an effort. Unfortunately no more stars...

We were there a few days ago and were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were amazing, so it's okay that they're not cheap. The atmosphere is cozy, but some of the furnishings seem thrown together. However, the iced tea was hardly drinkable and tasted more like diluted juice. The alcohol in the tiramisu was a little too strong for our taste, but otherwise very tasty. We will come back just because of the pizza and can only recommend it to everyone!

You should always evaluate good companies so that the work and effort is valued. It tasted excellent. Insanely delicious pizza. The coffee comes from the portafilter machine, apparently from the RiRu roasting company (it said on the cups), which I know and it was correspondingly delicious! Will definitely stop by more often on my lunch break.

Had pre-booked a table for several people for yesterday. Menu very compact and almost only pizza selection but with an exceptional selection of toppings, there was also a board with daily specials. Unfortunately there was beer 🍺 only from bottles and not from barrels. The pizzas arrived at our table relatively quickly but several minutes apart, they looked and tasted very good, the pizzas were also very filling. The cutlery takes some getting used to. The staff was very friendly and the pizza maker asked at the table whether it tasted good, which we agreed positively. Unfortunately the waitress cleared the plates from the table even though others were still eating, we didn't like that, we had the impression that the plates were needed, we couldn't interpret this rush any other way. Prices a bit high, but understandable for the quality of the pizzas and their toppings, not ideal for the small bottled beer.

We ate there yesterday before going to the cinema. What can I say, I have rarely eaten such a delicious, airy pizza and I can only recommend it. I usually never eat the crust of a pizza because it's always hard and dry, but I ate everything on this pizza. Then order the herb dip, which is also simply delicious. We'll definitely be back 🤩

Landed in this pizzeria by chance and enjoyed an outstanding pizza :-). The ambience is also good, it's worth making a reservation, we were lucky to get a place without calling first.

As usual, the food is TOP - the best pizza in Germany in my opinion. However, the new waiter (visiting in 2024) is a disaster and, in my opinion, has failed in his job! Not necessarily unfriendly, but you could clearly tell: he wasn't in the mood. There was no response to waving, calling, reporting, etc., even though he passed us countless times. Shards on the floor from previous guests were not completely removed even upon request/request! The ladies (especially the twins) who always worked there were extremely friendly, courteous and service-oriented!

Excellent pizzas and the dough is no problem even if you have a wheat intolerance. The service is very attentive and courteous. We would love to come back 👍

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and there is enough space for the people sitting next to you. The service is exceptional, the employees are very accommodating. The food is even better than expected based on the great reviews. An absolute recommendation. The prices are slightly higher than average, but overall justified. The location in downtown Solingen is just a shame. The walk until you get back to your car is scary.

Eins der wenigen noch verbliebenen GUTEN Restaurants in der Innenstadt von Solingen! Sehr leckere Pizza mit neapolitanischem Teig, wenn auch etwas teurer ( ab 14€). Auch wechselnde Mittagsgerichte von ca. 9€. Im Sommer auch die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Kommen immer gerne! Leider keine Parkmöglichkeiten.

Super leckere Pizza, Beste die ich je gegessen habe 👌🏻

Nicht nur war das Essen genauso hervorragend wie die Bedienung freundlich war, auch die zweietagige Gestaltung mit offener Küche hat einen besonderen Charme, und die Art und Weise, wie man auf die Sonderwünsche unseres extrem pickigen Sohnes eingegangen ist, ist ebenfalls aller Ehren wert.

Wir haben gestern dort mit 7 Pers. meinem Geburtstag gefeiert und es war einfach super gut! Vielen Dank an das klasse Team, man fühlt sich wirklich wie ein Gast, fast wie ein Freund! Ich gehe recht häufig in Restaurants und in den letzten Jahren habe ich leider viele mit 0815 Service erlebt. Schön, dass es hier ein so positives Beispiel gibt :) Die Speisen und Getränke kamen schnell, obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war. Wir saßen unten und durch die 2 Etagen wirkt es gemütlich. Alle Speisen waren extrem gut, vor allem die Meisterpizza und das Tiramisu!! Die Preise finde ich fair für die sehr gute Qualität und den tollen Service. Ich komme definitiv bei Gelegenheit mal wieder.

Ein absolut empfehlenswerter Laden. Waren an einem Samstag da und haben dummerweise nicht reserviert. Aber seitens des Restaurants wurde nach einer Lösung gesucht, so dass wir trotzdem noch einen Tisch bekamen. Die Pizzen waren Top! Seit ewigkeiten nicht mehr so eine saftige Pizza gegessen. Da merkte man dass da Mozzarella und nicht irgendein analogkäse drauf war. Werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Aber dann mit Reservierung 😉

Sehr leckere, einmal andere Pizza

Wir waren heute vor Ort und sind 70 km aufgrund der guten Berichte angereist. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt, die Pizzen sind super frisch und saftig, mit dünnem Teig und luftigem Rand, wirklich wie in Italien. Auch der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Wir kommen nun öfter.

Sehr nette Location mit super freundlichem Service. Auflauf sehr lecker und von der Menge absolut ausreichend. Ich komme gerne wieder, und dann gibt es Pizza . Vielen Dank 😊👍

Die Pizza hier ist einfach fantastisch. Der Teig ist perfekt knusprig und dennoch luftig, und die Auswahl an Belägen ist beeindruckend. Der Geschmack ist unglaublich authentisch. Das Ambiente in der Pizzeria ist gemütlich und einladend, und das Personal ist stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Dies ist definitiv mein Lieblingsort, um Pizza zu genießen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
