Zum Gewölbe in Solingen

I was there for lunch with a good friend on October 24, 2025, and we were very impressed. The food was super fresh and very tasty. The fries were very crispy, and the curry sauce was very aromatic. I had pide with minced meat and I have to say it was a delight. Thanks again for that. I highly recommend the Rose Grill. Please come here and see for yourself.

Good pizzas, but you really need to order the 33 cm size. There are a few parking spaces right in front or on the street. Since it became Pizza Palme, we've only ever ordered takeout; it doesn't look as cozy and inviting as it used to. But as I said, the food is okay.

For years, we've been going to Yusuf Usta's place to eat cag kebab. Every time we go, the taste and quality remain at the same level. I don't think there's another cag kebab place in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia that surpasses this quality. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say there isn't one in Germany at all. The casual atmosphere of the place might seem unusual to some; however, for those who know that good food doesn't always come from luxurious settings, taste and cleanliness are what matter. And the place is certainly very clean. We also really appreciate the live music. And of course, as people from Erzurum, tea and kadayıf are indispensable for us. Especially since, brother, what's tea without "kıtlama" (a type of Turkish dessert)? ☕

We ate here with friends in December because it was highly recommended. And we were definitely not disappointed. It's a bit hidden away, but still easy to reach by car, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The staff is very warm and accommodating. The ambiance is deceptive at first, and it's highly recommended to ask the waiters about the daily specials. The food was truly excellent, and in terms of taste, it's hard to beat anything. We would come back anytime and highly recommend it.

Very cozy and friendly! The food is simply superb. Wonderful and unique creations that you won't find anywhere else in Solingen. The portions are generous, so you have to think carefully about how you'll manage to finish both soup and dessert 😉
