We can only say good things about DA GINA - Gelato Italiano, our traveling Sicilian ice cream man! We are always happy when we hear its tinkling! Because the traveling ice cream man Da Gina delivers an incomparable taste experience. The selection of ice cream flavors is simply impressive - from classic favorites to extraordinary creations that surprise every time. WE LOVE IT!!! Every afternoon he comes driving through the streets of southern Hilden happily ringing his bell! Same with ours! Once we're there, the ice cream is a MUST! The quality of the ice cream is excellent! It's creamy, fresh and you can taste the high-quality ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the pistachio ice cream, which is so intense and aromatic that I only know it from Italy. The fruity varieties are also amazing – perfect for a hot summer day, but also taste great in the rain 😂! The ice cream man himself is an extremely friendly and charming fellow. You can tell that a lot of love and passion goes into making their ice cream. So if you hear him ringing - with his red ice cream vans or are near his iced coffee in Solingen, we can only warmly recommend a visit. Gelato Italiano DA GINA is a real highlight and a must for all ice cream lovers young and old!

When I was pregnant last year, I ordered spaghetti ice cream to take away. The ice had mostly melted and I didn't want to risk salmonella. When my husband returned the ice cream, they simply took the ice cream and didn't want to refund the money. I had the pleasure of experiencing Da Gina's mobile ice cream truck at work at our summer party and absolutely loved it! The ice cream was delicious and offered a wide variety of fantastic ice cream flavors. From classic favorites to creative reinterpretations, there was something for every taste. Da Gina's service was equally remarkable. The car showed up on time, the staff was friendly and radiated a good mood, which enhanced the already great atmosphere of the festival even more. It was a real pleasure to buy ice cream there. Overall, my experience with Da Gina at the Summer Festival was extremely positive and I would highly recommend the mobile ice cream truck. If you want to enjoy quality ice cream in a pleasant environment, look no further - Da Gina is the perfect choice!

The mobile ice cream truck has been coming to our daycare for the second year now. The communication between us (the support association) and Delfino is incredibly uncomplicated. He makes every wish possible and goes along with everything (e.g. the Konders are allowed to pay on their own with a self-made voucher, which we will offset later). He responds very well to the children, has fun with them and is SUPER patient! The ice cream tastes great!

The ice cream always tastes delicious and we are always served in a good mood and in a friendly manner. We have enjoyed the service from the great ice cream truck twice at celebrations and it was great. We and our guests were totally thrilled. Super friendly, delicious ice cream and a lot of good mood. Last weekend we were invited to a friend's birthday party and the ice cream truck happened to drive by on the street. I contacted him straight away because I still had the number saved from the last bookings and what can I say... even at a late hour he came by again at the party and made all the guests happy with his ice cream. Just great. Thank you! The next thing we have to try is an ice cream in the store...we haven't been there yet, but we will definitely do so this summer.

Today I was in the mood for woodruff ice cream again 🍨 , Gina didn't have any in the store, so the owner ran to his ice cream truck and got some for me because he has a larger selection there due to space constraints. Is this a service??? Mega!!!! Super friendly, great quality of all varieties and still gluten and lactose free for allergy sufferers. As far as I know, the only one in Solingen that is GF and lactose-free. Grazie, that something like this exists!!

I have to say, an ice cream parlor like we haven't had here in Solingen Ohligs and the surrounding area for a long time, from the nut ice cream variety to Amarena or pistachios, no matter what, has a taste that many others don't have.
