You can probably find a better sushi restaurant. Mediocre food. Worst thing is the incompetent staff. Why do i have to improve their manual order system when their ipad malfunctions. Whole restaurant basically left when the food stopped coming for over 30 mins. Atleast we only paid 1/3 persons because of the low amount of food.

Relatively disappointing if you know Okinii from Düsseldorf. Originally Japanese system catering at a high level, there is a problem here that completely spoiled the fun for me during my visit: the different responsibilities of the staff create the inconsistent picture that everyone "functions" and does their job, even if they Guest looks down the tube. Example. After reservation we are assigned our table. A lady greets us, takes the “order” and leaves. We order the first course on our cell phones, while another person slams a bowl of cold, fried noodles onto the table. To make matters worse, we hadn't ordered these and, moreover, they aren't even available in cold. It was a similar story The entire 2 hours that we had available. The ordering rounds were not served at the same time, but one person at a time had their food and the others were allowed to watch, so that the "delivering" person basically did their job the table closed Unfortunately, the person was not able to respond to questions, and was not able to speak our language. It was annoying that they didn't consult a colleague The request to speak to the manager was also bluntly ignored. This made me feel ashamed to my guests because I had praised the restaurant highly based on my experiences at Okinii Düsseldorf had. It's a shame, but I am convinced that upscale system catering must also be possible WITH the guest in mind. Unfortunately, I had a different experience at Okinii Bonn. Still 3 stars for the modern, puristic ambience and the acceptable quality of the food.

I have been visiting this restaurant for years and have been very satisfied so far. When I wanted to organize a girls' dinner with my girls today, we were horrified!!! Firstly, the sushi rolls have become smaller (also with an additional charge). We also found short, light hair in our food. Due to a “system error” we sat in our seat for around 2.5 hours, with not even the first lap completed. Even after asking our waiters, we couldn't get an answer to the problem. It was a similar story at our neighboring tables; they left the restaurant with great outrage. The waiters asked us to write down the orders manually (2 pages). In the end, we were only able to order 3 of the 8 rounds, but they didn't even arrive in full. All we can say about the ambience is the central station lighting (you can see every pore, every hair sticking out and not suitable for a first date). They wanted to accommodate us with the payment, but it wasn't justified for our 3 hours of precious life. One can only say that the waiters are unprofessional when taking orders. Of course mistakes can happen and we are not people to complain easily, but a restaurant with such a price range should be prepared for any mishaps!!!

In my opinion, you can't expect fine dining at all-you-can-eat. Accordingly, the food was really convincing. Yes, with sushi I would have used less rice and some of it was too dry for me. I still think the lamb chops are very good. Service was quick, all orders arrived. I find the limitation to 2 hours a bit annoying and unnecessary; Even after 3 hours and 8 rounds you can't be more than full, and the restaurant wasn't so full that you needed the space.

Very nicely designed large restaurant. The quality and taste of the food was mediocre. The drinks/cocktails were delicious! It takes a long time for the food to arrive, the portions are always very small and you have the feeling that parts of what you order often don't arrive. Paid around 55 euros per person including drinks. Summary: Value for money is okay

In comparison to other providers with the same Angobot, it cannot be undercut, even in terms of costs. Only about 2 thirds of the food ordered came to the table, sometimes with a delay of 20 minutes! We stacked the empty trays because they were only very rarely cleared away and otherwise would have blocked the table, even though there was a waiter at the table every few minutes. You also need your own smartphone for the ordering process!! The artificial leather on chairs and benches crumbles and ruins your clothes, and the rest of the atmosphere also seemed cheap (e.g. disposable chopsticks). There is also very little vegetarian food available. Overall NOT a recommendation

That wasn't too good. Orders that don't arrive All meat dishes cold. There is a big difference between the photos on the menu and what you get on the table. The waiter wanders around the place with plates and has no idea of table numbers. The sushi wasn't bad, but not anymore for us.

Visiting there again after a long time. Online reservation went smoothly. Comments made during the reservation were also taken into account at the location. Staff friendly, quick and accommodating. Food was delivered relatively timely. Konzeot is fine. Of course, occasionally one or two orders arrive later. Unfortunately, portions have become a bit smaller, but unfortunately the price hasn't :-). It's definitely worth visiting again and again. Thanks

The restaurant is decorated in a very modern way. The waiters seemed a little overwhelmed, but were mostly friendly. Most of the food was delicious, but the avocado in the sushi no longer seemed fresh and therefore didn't taste good. For the high price, we would have hoped that something like this wouldn't happen. Nevertheless, the restaurant scored points with numerous other dishes.

Unfortunately, it has decreased significantly. We always enjoyed going to Okinii, until yesterday. Songs some dishes that we always ordered were removed from the menu. The quality of the food on offer has also dropped drastically - the beef was like shoe sole, the chicken had no taste at all, the spinach was extremely dry when ordered multiple times and the avocado was as hard as a board.

Music too loud, you can hardly have a conversation. Looks like a shisha bar and feels like it with the choice of music and volume. Some of the food is not edible, "grilled" food is only lukewarm and fried shrimps just taste cooked, like they came from the refrigerated shelf. Basically, for the expensive price (80 euros for 2 people including 1 soft drink each) you can really eat much better in other restaurants. We won't be coming back, absolutely not recommended.

This was our first time at Okini. It was really great. Unfortunately, we were full pretty quickly because the service was so quick that the food was always pretty quick at the table. So plan to order little by little and take your time. Great concept and super delicious food! We'd love to come back.

We went there to have a nice lunch as a family. Of course lunch time is the least busiest time so we didn’t book a table in advance (also the booking link didnt work on the website when we tried to book previously). Once we arrive there are maybe 4-5 tables occupied out of 50. We are asked by the waiter if we have booked a table and I say no. He says we have to wait 15 minutes. After I asked him why he refuses to answer and I tell him we will not be waiting 15 minutes. He turns around and says goodbye. What a horrible service and place! A restaurant like this does not deserve our money. We will never be back! 😡

Unfortunately only mediocre. The food is ok, but nothing more. The service is bad. Always putting food on the table without clearing it away makes it uncomfortable at some point. Waiting 40 minutes for a second drink is definitely too long. Then discussing with the guest who screwed it up is not possible. The 4 of us won't be coming back and won't recommend you to anyone else.

We were here for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it. All-you-can-eat concept with 8 “ordering rounds”, where the selection is very rich and varied. The service was great and quick, the food came quickly and was super tasty. (The chicken skewers are to die for... 😉). There were two/three dishes that we weren't convinced by, but that's absolutely a matter of taste. We had nothing to complain about in terms of quality! We didn't manage to complete all 8 rounds in time, but we definitely couldn't have eaten them - we were so full! We found the price absolutely fair for the overall package, we will definitely come back.

I do not recommend. Unless you are starving and have a lot of time. Each round you can order 5 tiny dishes then wait 12 mins. In total you can eat for two hours. The trick from the restaurant is that they never give what you order. Like chicken grill, they will simply ignore your order.

Nice location - but that's about it. You couldn't say enough about the service. Waiters or waitresses sometimes stay at the table and wait until the guest has eaten to clear the plate. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. The food was okay but nothing more. However, at around €33 for all you can eat, it is a cheek to charge for some dishes. Unfortunately the price for the restaurant is excessive. In addition, the waiting times are sometimes crazy. After ordering from all you can eat for 3-4 sushi plates is quite remarkable.

NEVER AGAIN!!! I gave one star because you can't give zero stars! We already knew this restaurant chain from Düsseldorf and Cologne, where we were totally thrilled. For this reason, we reserved a table in Bonn and were left standing at the entrance for 20 minutes when we arrived, even though there was hardly anything going on in the shop. Even when we made our presence known, no one spoke to us. Well, it can happen, we thought and looked forward to the food. It was now around 9 p.m. When we finally got to our seat, we ordered some sushi with salmon and shrimp as well as fried shrimp and fried noodles via tablet. IT WAS INEDIBLE! We have never experienced anything like this!! The salmon was very pale and also smelled quite fishy. This is not the case with fresh fish! The shrimp were fried so dead that you would have thought they had been warmed up again. The fried noodles tasted like they had been warmed up in a burnt pan. Burnt remains were also mixed in. Absolutely inedible. Our drinks didn't come until the first round had already been served. We were probably the last guests and got the leftovers. At least that's how it felt. The cushions on the benches are partially rocked down. We just wanted to leave!!! When we confronted the service about the poor quality of the food, they were very nice and understanding. However, we were still charged almost €80 for this disaster. We observed several employees sniffing the fish when we brought it up. This was then confirmed to us by the service staff. First it was claimed that the fish was thawed the day before (which is an absurdity in itself) and then served and later it was said that the fish was “only” a day old. Just really disgusting. When we asked again whether there was any way we could be accommodated because the food was really so BAD, it wasn't answered either. You can't offer something like that to guests!!! We ordered Queerbeet off the menu and had more than half of it returned. The restaurant owner himself did not appear before our eyes. Really generally a bad overall impression and an impudence! When visiting Bonn, choose another sushi restaurant.

Overall, it was our first time in this restaurant and we didn't expect that such an interesting game system existed there. You have eight rounds with five dishes per person. This means that we had a total of ten dishes per round for two. That was pretty exciting. We were very full and only managed six laps. It was very pleasant that the staff constantly cleared away the empty plates. This was very quick and very tasty. An added highlight was that the waitress offered us ice cream that we hadn't seen on the menu. Overall we give it a rating of 10 out of 10.

A disgrace of the gastronomy! Food cold, old, one employee in the store is asleep, the other is on his cell phone. Ready food stands around in the kitchen for 10 minutes with a complete overstaffing of staff, the cook with his arms crossed. Congratulations, dismantle the hut. Rarely have I experienced such poor service as here. We had dinner there for our anniversary and were just outside the door after the third round. When we came back our entire table was cleared including drinks. We then asked the waiter about it and received a dry “Oh, I thought you had already left.” I then asked him to bring us at least one new drink and we were given half a cola glass because the other one was also half empty?! We had already lost our appetite, but after everything had been cleared away, it was an impertinence to put HALF a glass in front of us. An apology was already too much for the young man; at least a whole drink would have been the minimum. We were then able to eat dessert with our hands as no new cutlery was brought to us. We will never visit again, that was impossible. You can really eat better in Bonn and the surrounding area and have top service.

There were 4 of us with a stroller, waiters were overwhelmed when we asked for a table in a corner for space and breastfeeding. The food was brought to the table quickly and tasted very good. Unfortunately it is not possible to check orders, a few dishes were not brought, but we did not receive the plates we ordered. Staff not very friendly. In terms of price, we found it a little overpriced, especially many dishes were available for an additional charge, despite the expensive dinner menu at lunchtime (just under €35/person). We won't necessarily go there again.

Meat and fish quality not good. The meat is not aromatic and the fish already had - how do you say "taste". A lot of different sauces end up covering the entire meal and it feels like you're sucking on a Heinz BBQ bottle. What I advise against: anything flambéed. You can still taste the gas on fish and meat - a dream! The ordering process: wonderful! First pull out your own smartphone, the waiter has to activate the “table”, 1st QR code for WiFi, 2nd QR code for the card - why no 3rd QR code for the toilet? Then you order, right? And then… first of all, the 1st of 10 items kills. After 3 minutes the second, after 20 minutes the third and after an hour the order is complete. Drinks also come unusually very late - around 15-20 minutes. And the process ingeniously creates a feeling of satiety. Then after an hour you'll be full and then there'll be a little bit left over. Then you ask the service to pack up the rest and now hold on tight: Then they charge the opened dish at the full takeaway price. Halelujah! Then the ambience: quite loud music, tables smashed, scratched, order receipts lying in the food and the sauce, hectic staff and arctic cold - in God's name it's cold there. The price doesn't match what you want to be.

Unfortunately, my last visit to Okinii was a mixed experience. As long-time guests, we have always appreciated the fresh and high-quality food, but this time we noticed that the quality of the food had noticeably deteriorated. Unfortunately, the sushi rolls were no longer as fresh as usual. The selection also seemed smaller and less creative than before. The miso soup was particularly disappointing, as it barely tasted like miso and was more reminiscent of warm water. However, what saved my visit was Ms. Esengül's excellent service. Despite the disappointment with the food, she managed to make our stay more pleasant with her warm and professional manner. She was always attentive and quick to help. Their friendliness and commitment enhanced the evening and showed that good service can make a crucial difference. I very much hope that the restaurant will bring the quality of its food back to its old level, because with employees like Ms. Esengül it already has an absolute top talent on the service side. Conclusion: Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 (thanks to Ms. Esengül) Overall rating: 3.5/5 We won't visit the restaurant for now and will give it another chance in 6 months in the hope that the quality of the food will improve again.

Not mine! As much as I can appreciate the many little things, it's just as important to me that I get what I order and that's where you lose track of everything. I can order every 15 minutes, but that doesn't mean I'll get what I ordered within 15 minutes. Because everyone at the table orders things, food arrives irregularly, without me being sure "that's mine", or at some point after the second round I had the overview "that's still in the flow"... Then at some point it comes Point where you ask yourself: "Is this still coming, or do I order again? And if I order again, will I end up with 2, can't finish them and have to pay for the excess?" That stressed me out... and since the waiters were about as stressed as I was, I didn't want to upset them either

First of all, we were there once at lunchtime and everything was fine. But evenings are absolutely not recommended. Too many tables for this all you can eat concept. 1. Food that was ordered in the first round at 7:57 p.m. was delivered at 9:41 p.m. 2. Food didn't come at all. At least 6 dishes did not arrive 3. The portions are sometimes half as much as lunch (but costs significantly more!) 4. Even sushi is sometimes made very carelessly. A suhi with cream cheese and carrot, see picture. 5. A 0.75l bottle of water for 7.50, even though 9l costs €12 when I buy it, I think it's a joke ;) 6. Selling the whole thing for €33 is also a disgrace :) If the concept worked or the quality of the food was good, okay. But it's absolutely not justified and I hope that more people will rate the restaurant from last evening.

Never again !!! If I could I wouldn't give a star. Starting with the cleanliness of the place, we got there and first had to clean our bench because it was very dirty. Then to the food, I've never had such bad all you can eat!!! At 33p, it's not cheap and I've never seen such bad food and, above all, so little! Unfortunately it has nothing to do with sushi! Everything had a strange aftertaste, almost everything had paprika/chilli powder on it... The broccoli was hard and cold... The grilled salmon was bitter and dry. Most of the sushi tasted musty and some of it was inedible! I don't even want to start with the process!

The dinner costs 33 p.p. Not cheap, but the selection is really very wide. The quality of the sushi is above simple supermarket sushi, but it doesn't go much beyond that. Fried and fried dishes in particular often taste almost exclusively of fat and are very heavy in the stomach even when consumed in normal quantities without overeating, so that you have problems even several hours after eating.

Unfortunately, quality has deteriorated significantly over the years... My first visit to Okinii Bonn was shortly after the new opening in 2019. The still new restaurant impressed with a modern ambience and spacious dining area, where you could relax wonderfully even after the all-you-can-eat buffet. The fast service and friendliness of the employees were particularly impressive. No matter how busy it was, the team remained attentive and helpful, and orders were served quickly. The all-you-can-eat buffet was a real highlight. The quality of the food was consistently high, and the wide selection of sushi and other Japanese specialties left nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy are the excellent cocktails and homemade lemonades, which perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. But over time the quality and selection of the food has declined significantly. Previously sought-after favorites such as rib eye ramen, delicious sushi with mango or duck, or even just fried duck with the sauce served with it have been removed from the menu. The delicious sashimi with tuna that was previously offered in the dinner menu can no longer be found. Unfortunately, the vegan menu doesn't convince me at all. The quality of the sushi rice has also deteriorated significantly - the typical sushi taste didn't come through and the rice seemed carelessly put together. I was also very disappointed with the service on my last visit. Orders only arrived after two to three rounds, and our last order was completely missing by the time we were ready to pay. We were already full! My last visit last week was a huge disappointment and unfortunately will probably be my last. Does anyone know a good alternative? Or is this perhaps an isolated case from Bonn due to a change of ownership, and the other cities still impress with the well-known Okinii quality?

The food was excellent, but unfortunately the all-you-can-eat ordering system kept sending parts of our orders to nirvana. You select 20 parts, but only 17 end up in the overview. Apparently this is not designed so that four people with four cell phones can actually access the same order at the same time. After we agreed and only visited the website one after the other, it at least worked, but then parts of the order still seemed to get lost somewhere between the kitchen and the table. In the end, one or two parts were missing from each of our five or six rounds of ordering. Of course we were still full, but it was a little annoying. Was there just too much going on on Saturday evening? You should check on a weekday. However, given the prices for the all-you-can-eat menu, you kind of expect things like ordering to go smoothly. We have never had such stress in other stores that work with their own tablets. There were one or two f-ups, but not consistently. It's actually a shame, because as I said: The food and especially the drinks (sodas) here are really good.

Hello, my wife and I came over the weekend, it was our first time in Okinii. We were hoping for delicious hot food and good service. As a result we got a cockroach in the sushi. The staff wasn't friendly, there was a cockroach in the sushi, they took the plate away and said they didn't have time for my requests. The food was not tasty, cold. Nuri and Siso reacted as rudely as possible to my comment that the food was unprepared and cold. They said if you don't like something you can leave it. I am disappointed in the restaurant, the price does not correspond to the quality, almost all the food is worse than at McDonald's

Delicious food, great cocktails, very nice staff, funny concept. All you can eat within two hours. You can order several “rounds” of food, all via your cell phone or tablet. You will definitely be full. Only one star deducted because the orders and rounds of food were very mixed up when served. Would have found it better if one complete order came one after the other. But no matter, we would love to come back.

When you have two hours for five orders, it smells like it was intentional, especially since it was the same at our neighboring table. Kitchen seems to be a bit overwhelmed, but that shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this size. It probably shouldn't be the first time that it was a bit fuller. The food itself was once again great - when something was delivered 😉

This lunchtime we visited the Okinii and decided on the lunch menu, which is about twelve euros cheaper than the evening menu. Despite these savings, the selection of sushi was unfortunately limited. Although there were some dishes that we wanted to try, the quality of the sushi was only mediocre. It was also missing some standard dishes like the Inside-Out Avocado Salmon Roll, which we missed dearly. Ordering is done via a telephone system, which proved to be not entirely reliable. Apparently one of our orders wasn't submitted correctly, so we had to resubmit the order after several minutes of waiting. In addition, some dishes did not arrive as ordered, for example without salmon. However, this was quickly and easily corrected by the waiters. Another point that stood out was the different waiting times between each course. This made planning the meal within the 2 hour ordering time difficult and resulted in us almost running short on our last order in the end. What should be highlighted positively, however, is that the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The toilets are also in good condition, which improves the overall impression. Overall, Okinii certainly offers a wide selection that may appeal to some guests. For me personally, however, quality is more important than quantity, and unfortunately the Okinii wasn't entirely convincing here.

The Okinii offers a lot of choice and is ideal for trying out new things. However, not everything is on the same level: while the gyoza, some sushi makis, one of the noodle dishes and the sesame ice cream tasted really good, most of the dishes are rather average. Given the very high price, you have to realize that you are paying for the selection. The individual dishes cannot compete with specialized restaurants in a similar price category. So far so good. When I list the negative aspects, I feel very small-minded myself. Most of it wouldn't be that bad, but unfortunately there were a lot of little things: first of all, the restaurant was noticeably cheaper a while ago, but in return you save on ordering tablets. Guests now use their own smartphones, although old functions are unfortunately missing. Of course, the food never comes in the order ordered and of course some things didn't come at all, which isn't a bad thing with an all-you-can-eat. Of course, a few things came instead that we had definitely not ordered even after comparing them with the order history. What's more annoying is that today even more dishes cost an extra charge than before (2 euros extra for a fried Oreo while fried Raffaellos are included in the price?). And that there is apparently no more sushi with salmon and avocado (it either includes salmon trout or a thick piece of surimi). The mini bowls contain a disproportionate amount of rice to fill you up cheaply, the miso soup was bland, fried vegetables and edamame were prepared without salt, the steamed broccoli was cold, the gyoza are ready-made products (€8 per bag at go- Asia in the Kaiserpassage) the noodles were overcooked and almost mushy. Mineral water costs one euro per 100 ml. As I said, it sounds very negative when listed - but overall it was still tasty. The service is friendly but also discreetly understaffed. Good service, for example, simply refills empty ginger, here we didn't get any new ginger despite asking. I really don't blame the poor people, this is bad personnel policy. In summary, Okinii is good for people who want to spend €50 on a taste of a variety of Asian/Japanese dishes. For example, if you want to try sushi or don't know gyoza and have never eaten kimchi, something new awaits you here! But I would leave it at that, because the appeal of diversity suffers from the many little things.

I went there with 2 of my girlfriends and we loved it! We have already been to Okinii in Cologne, where we have had good experiences. Our waitress, Ms. Esengül, was incredibly nice and was also able to give us recommendations for drinks. The food was of course very tasty. We can only recommend it and will definitely come back.

The food was okay and tasty, but the waiting time was very long. We sometimes waited 20-25 minutes for orders and even waited over 1 hour for 2 orders, even though we informed them twice. Only after the kitchen was closed three times and 20 minutes before closing time was our last sushi brought to us. (With the apology for having misunderstood us a third time) At a very busy time I would understand it, but with 6 tables to be served I find the waiting time very long, almost outrageous. A return visit to Okinii will therefore not be an option for us.

I'll start with the only positive thing: ONE of the waiters was very nice and attentive and tried to improve everything according to our wishes, which one person can do in this system. Otherwise: never eaten such bad sushi (if you can even call it sushi), oversalted dishes, didn't get the dishes, got them twice or three times, tables weren't cleared so there was no room left, stupid sayings from the barely legal waiter like: " Yes, I wouldn't have ordered that if I were you!” if you had something to complain about in the court. Served raw chicken skewers. So all in all: you're better off at any snack bar on the corner and, above all, you don't pay €33.95!! I won't come back again.

So the food is really good but if you sometimes have to wait 30-50 minutes for the food it's like hmm it doesn't have to be that way but the service is very nice and tries everything possible to make it as pleasant as possible and the ambience is Japanese But otherwise the food is relatively normal and the music is based on dance and funky and has no connection to Japanese culture and okinii advertises with eating, discovering, experiencing Japanese. Have eaten here several times. Food and homemade lemonades are top. The young waitress that evening. I have already eaten at Okinii at different locations and unfortunately I have to say that I liked the food at the Bonn location the least. The rice tasted very acidic and dry, some of the fish was very cold (as if it had just been taken from the refrigerator) and the vegetables such as broccoli tasted very sour. The Horensoe Gomae salad (with spinach) was incredibly dry, sticky and also sour, so I couldn't finish it. I didn't like the sushi at all either. To drink we had a cola, although the carbonation was missing. A new glass was brought upon request. Other dishes like miso soup, gyoza were quite good, but that was it. In general it was very warm in the restaurant and the ventilation was not turned on as I have seen in other locations). The music also seemed to be louder than usual, so the noise level was loud along with the other guests. The waitress who gave us the code at the beginning so we could order on our cell phones seemed very bored, couldn't open her teeth when talking and therefore seemed very unfriendly. A waitress who brought the food and cleared plates was again very friendly and quick. (Hence the 3 stars as an overall result, otherwise I would have only given 2). My conclusion: The price for an all-you-can-eat menu was ok, but the food was a disappointment. We definitely won't eat here again.

The quality of the food on Sunday, April 14th at 3:45 p.m. was unfortunately poor. Some hot dishes were cold, the sushi didn't taste good and the minced meat soup was too salty. The staff seemed tired and moody but you can still tolerate it and partly understand it. The store was stuffy and didn't seem air conditioned. It was 24 degrees outside. The final total for 1 adult and 2 children was around €80 including drinks. For the buffet it was satisfactory. Gastronomy is also a tough business. I must have had a bad day. They could do better. A pity. I hope other guests were luckier than us.

The service staff are great! Fast, on the ball and very friendly. You would get 5 stars from me. The food is quite okay. Classic All You Can Eat. Unfortunately, you have to order the food using your own cell phone. Since I generally make it a point to put my cell phone aside when I'm in society and pay full attention to the person I'm talking to, I'm not convinced by the concept. A generic tablet could be seen in review images, but this was not available on site. Unfortunately, the dishes ordered are prepared and delivered in a completely uncoordinated and jumbled manner, which means you completely lose track of what is to come. Example: Things that were ordered in round 1 arrived in round 5 when everyone had already had dessert and was full. Another point of criticism is that there are some interesting dishes that can only be ordered at an additional cost. With All You Can Eat with a fixed price it's pretty questionable. Unfortunately, the concept and the delays in ordering could not convince us.
