For the price, this is excellent. I've only been once so far but they got the most important thing right. The rice. It was perfectly cooked. Sticky enough to stay in one piece in the nigiri and rolls, but not so sticky that it still falls apart easily when eating. The crispy rolls were all very fresh, warm and actually crispy. My only difficulties were the acoustics. Very hard to talk in there when full. And that every crispy roll we ordered had a sauce on it. Not necessary, but I know some like this. I will def come back. They also sponsor the Baskets Dance Team. That earns extra points.

I tried ramen and maki - the portions were really generous, excellent in taste and lavishly topped. You will definitely leave the restaurant full and satisfied. The homemade iced tea is particularly recommended – very aromatic and refreshing.

I ordered sushi and even though I'm not usually a fan, I thought it was pretty tasty! There was crispy salmon roll for me. Clear recommendation! Ambience only one point deducted because the terrace could be a little larger.

I celebrated my birthday here and spent over 100 euros there. Unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. We were asked to leave after dinner as new guests were supposed to arrive at 7:00 p.m. The problem: I had reserved the table a month in advance and was not informed either when I made the reservation or when I arrived at the restaurant that our time was limited. Especially on a special occasion like a birthday, you expect a different level of customer service. It's not just about the food, but also the atmosphere and the feeling of being welcome. Unfortunately, even though we were good customers, we felt more like a burden. What a shame!

Eating out at Makiman is always a good idea. The food tastes so good that it has now become my favorite sushi place. From the service to the ambience, you can't complain. The only point of criticism is the sometimes long waiting time, but this is offset by the enjoyment of the food.

The sushi there is very fresh and delicious. The noodle soups also look great and taste very good. If you're traveling with friends, you can easily share the appetizers and sushi. The illustrated menu makes it easy to choose. The service is fast, friendly and competent. We felt very comfortable. The furnishings are beautiful and invite you to linger. Overall, a nice evening. I would perhaps like to see more choice for the mixed sushi platters, but the offering so far is already sufficient. My personal recommendation are the homemade lemonades. Fresh, not too sweet and just the right drink with food.

The food and service were excellent, the makis and yaki tori were 10! Sushi rice has the correct recipe. The nigiris board 9.5/10 the octopus was not so fresh and a little hard but the Inari (tofutashe) delicious! In short, a recommendable place, the atmosphere is sober and cozy, with some contemporary oriental decoration.

Where should I start... Two out of three meals were really bad. The first dish was a hotpot, the rice was burnt and unfortunately it didn't taste like anything else. There was also very little meat in this compared to the other dishes. The second was fried noodles with beef, unfortunately the sauce (supposedly teriyaki) didn't taste good at all. We wanted to have a meal packed and they said yes, but we didn't get it. Never again.

A lot of rice in the sushi, which is a real shame considering the high prices.

Excellent service, great food and a wonderful environment sums up this restaurant very well. Food is tasty and the sashimi quite fresh. I particularly enjoyed their miso soup. I think there are several branches around Bonn and Siegburg area.

Katsudon and miso soup were delicious. Sushi was ok. The one with avocado was delicious, the one with cucumber was a bit dry. Unfortunately, the nori sheets were a bit dry in both cases. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The decor was nice. Toilets were clean.

The pasta dishes didn't taste good at all because the meat was still raw. Although it took a long time until we got the food. I also ordered curry sauce that never tasted like curry but rather tomatoes.

Was für eine Voll-Katastrophe war das denn, bitte? Essen (Yakitori-Spieße) wurde kalt serviert. Das haben wir zurückgehen lassen. Es wurde uns kein frisches Essen zubereitet, sondern dieses aufgewärmt. Das haben wir nicht gegessen und erneut reklamiert. Das Unagi-Sushi (Nigiri) war ungenießbar (zäh und geschmacklich nicht gut). Auch das haben wir reklamiert. Die Gyoza waren fett und geschmacklich dürftig. Das Lachs-Nigiri war viel zu viel Reis und zu wenig Fisch. Geschmacklich aber ok. Eine Stunde später hatten wir beide Durchfall. Aber sehr heftigen. Einzige Lichtblick: Yakitori und Unagi wurden uns nicht berechnet. Unwahrscheinlich, dass wir je wieder dort essen gehen.

Not a bad place, but the food was underwhelming, especially for the price. The rolls cost around 11 euros for 8 rolls, but they are so thinly sliced, plus the quality of the rice and fish is not very good... The service was otherwise good, everything was fast and without problems

The alcohol-free Cuvee Sauvignon Blanc smells of grape juice and lychee but tastes of bad water. 6.8€ is not worth it. Then it's better to have mineral water or other drinks

I've been coming to Makiman regularly for 15 years and I'm always satisfied. Friendly, nice service and good food! There is a wide range of creative vegan rolls for those who don't just want to eat the standard vegetable makis. The atmosphere is great, perfect for a refreshment while shopping during the day, great for a date night or a nice evening with friends in the evening.

As a starter we shared dumplings, which were actually very well seasoned, but unfortunately were anything but warm. Some of them were still frozen inside, which was extremely unfortunate. The sushi was average good.
