Ginger's - Bonn Endenich in Bonn

We ordered and went downstairs after the app showed that the food was about to be delivered. We then waited there for 40 minutes. Just as we came back in, the app changed to delivery in 6 minutes. Then, after about 10 minutes, the food finally arrived. By then, it was completely cold. The courier said he was sorry because he had to make several deliveries alone on his bike, but that this is simply unacceptable. They should hire more people to deliver or only do pickups, but this kind of service is really poor.

I can only agree with the other reviews… I had the same experience ordering through Uber Eats. They waited forever and didn't respond when I requested an update or called. So, I definitely don't recommend them!

Ordered via Uber Eats and waited 2.5 hours!!

We ordered food today at 4:53 PM. A bowl of pho and a portion of fried noodles. Nothing to write home about. The delivery time was supposed to be 46 minutes (meaning arrival at 5:39 PM). After a call at 5:55 PM, they said "20 minutes, yes." The food finally arrived at 6:42 PM. Delivery time is normally 10 minutes because we live around the corner. Instead of pho with tofu, we received pho with chicken—inedible. More than disappointing!

We ordered via Uber Eats at 6:00 PM. We received confirmation that the food would arrive between 6:50 PM and 7:10 PM. So far, so good. At 7:30 PM, no food in sight. We called. No one answered. At 7:50 PM, still no food. We called again, again no one answered. At 8:30 PM, I called again without success and then requested a refund through Uber Eats – still no response. According to Uber Eats, my food was supposed to have been delivered at 9:30 PM – a time when I was no longer at the location where the food was supposedly being delivered. THREE AND A HALF HOURS after we ordered. TWO AND A HALF HOURS after the stated delivery time. And all this without any information that it would arrive later than stated and without any way to contact the restaurant. A complete scam; I still haven't received my money back. Thanks for nothing.

Review for Vietnamese cuisine, plus a nice atmosphere...

Fast, tasty and friendly service.

I had food delivered. The delivery wasn't on time, but the food was still fresh and tasted really good—exactly what you'd expect from Vietnamese cuisine. Unfortunately, the evening after eating it, I developed severe symptoms that suggested food poisoning. That was very disappointing!

We ordered via Uber Eats. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The portions were nice and large, and everything was well packaged. We'd happily order again :)

The price-performance ratio is top-notch here! :) Main courses mostly cost between €11-14, and the portions are generous. I especially recommend the yellow curry with tofu! Homemade drinks in 0.5-liter glasses are also available, which are much cheaper than most other restaurants. In the future, I would just like to see desserts, which unfortunately aren't available yet :C

Ordering from Uber Eats, I was insulted by one of your delivery drivers even though I don't speak the language. What a great atmosphere. When I received my order, the sauce was spilled and I didn't have any cutlery. Order: A5354

Very rude delivery person. Spoke to me in a very rude way as he had to wait while delivering my order( I ordered via lieferando) as my door bell didn't ring. Despite me telling sorry he was extremely impolite. I called up the restaurant immediately after to report this but I guess no effect.

I wanted to have a nice evening and ordered a Thai curry and summer rolls. That was at 5:30. After 1.5 hours, the driver arrived and explained that he had dropped the curry while cycling and it had spilled, and that I'd get a new one. He'd be back in 30 minutes. I was allowed to keep the summer rolls and then peel them out of the curry sauce. They weren't as tasty as they were and were also quite mushy. It's been 70 minutes now, and I've been waiting for my food for 2.5 hours 😂 I just called and was told the driver was on his way. I wish I had cooked myself. I mean, it can happen, but then this order should have priority. I won't be ordering from here again.

The food is fresh and very tasty, and the portions are very large. As a starter we chose dumplings with chopped shrimp and a small salad. That was also extremely tasty. As main courses we had crispy duck with rice and coconut-mango sauce and beef strips in mien noodles with dark sauce. As a drink I chose a tea with rose petals, which had a great aroma. The operators are very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely come back.

4'25 instead of lieferando's forecast of 55 minutes, we waited 96! Both MamaMango and ThaiCurryRot (each with tender chicken) taste great. 12ˋ23: Only waited 40 minutes at lieferando instead of the predicted 52. The older delivery driver was really unfriendly. “MamaMangoEnte” tastes good but the meat is sometimes very mixed. “Chicken meat spicy” only satisfactory meat quality; Great sauce. March 23: Exactly as predicted, almost 60 minutes. waited. Unfortunately, the meat in the dish Fried Noodles with Chicken is mixed. Chicken Thai style (spicy) tastes great. October '21: Waited only 31 minutes at lieferando instead of the predicted 50. Udon coconut cream chicken good. MamaMango is also good...it could have had more vegetables in it...the taste was very good. June '20: Waited 55 minutes instead of the predicted 62 minutes at Lieferando...perfect. Chicken Thai style and duck Mama Mango very good...only the rice is very simple.

A clear recommendation for Ha Long! Friendly service, delicious food, subtle music and a cozy atmosphere. It's a shame that the restaurant doesn't open until 5 p.m. on the weekends, otherwise I would be a guest there much more often.

Please allow at least two hours for delivery. Unfortunately it is not possible to give no stars. After two hours, Lieferando's order status was set to Delivered, without anything having been delivered by then. After I called, I was told the delivery was on the way and would be with me in seven minutes. Since these seven minutes are already over, I just have to get rid of this review now. This is definitely the first and last time we will order there and we will advise everyone not to. It's impossible to wait so long for the food and without any communication that would have come from the restaurant.

The Thai curry at the Ha Long restaurant in Bonn is simply fantastic! The perfect balance of creamy coconut milk, aromatic spices and fresh ingredients makes every dish a taste experience. The spiciness is just right and the vegetables and meat are cooked to perfection. Added to this is the friendly service and cozy atmosphere – an absolute must for all lovers of Thai cuisine. Clear 5 stars!

Surprisingly good sushi for a shop that otherwise seems to offer a diverse mix of different Asian cuisines - albeit with a clear focus on Vietnamese. The presentation is also appealing.

Danger! Change of ownership! Cannot be compared with previous service... We enjoyed ordering from Gingers often. We had missed the fact that the owner had changed. Our order from the new operator was the first and will be the last. The prices have risen sharply again. And to top it off, for fried noodles with tofu, the tofu was charged extra at 4 euros. The tofu was then thrown into the deep fryer without seasoning or anything similar and packed into an extra Styrofoam box. Overall, the food was much worse and very greasy. And less than before. The crispy chicken also tasted more “German”. The cola we ordered was forgotten. In total we paid over €30 for two so-so dishes. We even called to clarify it. But apart from "Sorry, next time..." nothing worked. We definitely won't be ordering from them again!

As always, the food is super delicious! BUT unfortunately the prices have increased dramatically, e.g. salmon fillet from €9.90 to €18.90!!! And the other dishes too. I understand inflation, but almost twice the price is outrageous! Unfortunately, we will eat at Gingers less often in the future

Would not recommend. Had fried chicken noodles and the chicken was obviously less than half cooked. Immediately spat it out but obviously managed to get a stomach bug. Would avoid or check the food throughly before putting it in your mouth.

Take away total failure. Hänchen Shop suey totally sweet. The lunch dish Bun Cha Gio was just frozen mini spring rolls with rice noodles, some bland salad and a can of a thin sweet and sour sauce, the roasted peanuts were completely forgotten. For a total of €20 we are really disappointed. We've already eaten there and it was completely different. If it had been brought to the table like that, we would have let it go back.

I ate on site and can therefore only rate the restaurant service. The P/L ratio there is just great, I don't think you can complain about it. Recommended, especially if you're in the corner anyway.

The food was perfect and arrived quickly. We had spring rolls as a starter and a tempura roll as the main course, which could easily be converted into the vegan version. The music was very relaxed and there were few other people there.

It's a shame that you have to give 1 star. Realistic would be 0! Waited 1.5 hours for the food, then got a call from the very unfriendly driver that he couldn't find the hotel entrance, 10 minutes on foot looking for the driver... The food was understandably cold. I was there recently and ordered and ate on site. The service was quick and friendly. The food came quickly and was reasonably priced. The quality is also good. The atmosphere is not that cozy. This may have something to do with the fact that a pick-up service is also offered there. This is also used extensively.

Leider fehlerhafte Bestellung bekommen bei Uber Eats und es wird seitens des Restaurants behauptet, sie hätten richtig geliefert, aber es gibt einen Druckfehler, so dass ich nur eine Vorspeise anstatt einem Hauptgericht bestellt hätte. Berechnet wurde aber natürlich die Bestellung mit Druckfehler als Hauptgericht ;)

Sehr freundliches Personal, super leckeres Essen und die Haus-Limonaden sind einfach super lecker

Zum zweiten Mal haben wir etwas per Telefon vorbestellt und wieder wurden die versprochenen 5% nicht auf der Rechnung (über 38€) abgezogen. Das ist ärgerlich! Auch bestehen die vegetarischen Frühlingsrollen überwiegend aus Teig und haben praktisch keinen Inhalt. Darüber hinaus kann man auch immer noch nicht per Karte bezahlen. In der Summe war also unser letzter Besuch im Ginger’s also enttäuschend!

Ich habe Essen zum Abholen bestellt. Laut aktueller Karte bekommen Abholer 10% Rabatt auf die Bestellung, ohne jegliche Einschränkung. Als ich das Essen abholte, waren die 10% Rabatt nicht auf der Rechnung erkenntlich. Auf meine Nachfrage sagte mir die Bedienung: "Den Rabatt gibt es erst ab 17€." Meine Rechnung betrug leider "nur" 16,40€. Mein Ratschlag: Bleibt da bloß weg! Auch wenn das Essen OK ist, das Verhalten ist meiner Meinung nach klarer Betrug. Auch wenn es nur 1,64€ sind.

Sehr große Portionen und dazu wirklich sehr günstige Preise. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, das Ambiente und der Service hat uns auch gefallen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Ganz passables Sushi zu einem recht günstigen Preis. Leider nur eine kleine vegane/vegetarische Auswahl. Eine Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich, obwohl Gerichte für über 50 € auf der Karte stehen. Sehr schade und nicht zeitgemäß.

Essen ist echt lecker. Personal wirkt etwas desorientiert,konnten sich nicht an die telefonische Bestellung erinnern und die Bestellung war nicht vollständig. Also musste ich nochmal los, damit Jeder sein Essen kriegt.

Sehr Schlecht! In gebratenem Reis gab es eine Scheuerbürste, aber niemand hat es richtig erklärt oder sich entschuldigt. Vielmehr sagten sie dreist, dass es in einem Restaurant passieren könnte, und sie waren sehr stolz. Sie schienen kein moralisches Interesse daran zu haben, nur Essen zu verkaufen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Frische Zutaten super zubereitet. Besonders die unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung hat ein Lob verdient. Perfekt!

Top Restaurant. Unter der Woche von 11-15 Uhr Mittagskarte. Der Lachs für 10€ ist vorzüglich. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Früher echt gutes Essen und hat alles gut funktioniert inzwischen fast jedes Mal falsches essen oder es fehlt etwas. Auf Nachfrage ob die mir das richtige essen bringen können unfreundliche und pampige antworten. Früher habe ich dort echt gerne bestellt aber jetzt nicht mehr. Nicht nochmal!

Trotz Vorbestellung kam das Essen eine Stunde später als bestellt. Es war kalt und bei den Veggie Rolls wurde die Mango vergessen. Die Edamame waren schon wieder kalt aber durch das vorherige Erwärmen komplett labbrig und auch bei den Kappa und Avokado Maki fehlt es an Geschmack. Ich bin sehr unzufrieden mit meinem heutigen Erlebnis, in welchem weder Lieferzeit noch Essen annähernd den gemachten Angaben entsprechen haben und werde hier nicht mehr bestellen.
