Ohana The Kitchen Bar in Lübeck

Personal total überfordert. Wartezeit bis Karte kam 30 Minuten. Das Essen kam nach 75 Minuten. Nach 45 Minuten mal höflich nachgefragt, und als Antwort ein flapsiges „sie müssen sich gedulden „ erhalten. Nicht zu empfehlen

Ich bestellte 2 cl Calvados und wartete über eine Stunde darauf. Die Zubereitung einer so einfachen Bestellung sollte nicht über eine Stunde dauern.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, im Innenhof gelegen. Essen war super lecker und der Preis vollkommen angemessen. Auch die Kartenzahlung war ohne Probleme möglich, was in anderen Rezensionen kritisiert wurde. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir waren mittlerweile schon zweimal hier und leider waren beide Besuche eher enttäuschend. Beim ersten Mal waren wir zu zweit dort, um Fußball zu schauen. Schon damals mussten wir sehr lange auf unsere Getränke warten. Beim zweiten Besuch waren wir zu viert und haben auch dort gegessen. Leider konnte uns das Essen geschmacklich nicht überzeugen. Noch dazu mussten wir wieder lange auf Getränke, Besteck und andere Dinge warten. Obwohl wir mehrfach freundlich nachgefragt oder höflich erinnert haben, hat sich oft erst nach längerer Zeit etwas getan. Die Location ist wirklich schön, aber der Service und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben uns leider nicht überzeugt. Schade – wir hätten uns nach zwei Besuchen mehr erhofft.

Der Laden ist optisch sehr ansprechend und wirkte gemütlich. Für 30 Grad kann keiner was, es war drinnen unglaublich stickig und heiß. Ich war enttäuscht und unzufrieden, weil mir Ordnung, Effektivität und Verbindlichkeit wichtig sind. Das Servicepersonal wirkte chaotisch und unorganisiert. Wir wurden von mindestens vier verschiedenen Personen bedient. Die Praktikanten waren bemüht und überfordert. Die von mir bestellten Getränke nur wenig kühl. Die Wartezeiten waren lang. Mein Essen wurde serviert nachdem die anderen Personen an meinem Tisch fertig gegessen hatten und ihr Geschirr bereits abgedeckt war. Zeitweise hatte ich vier leere Gläser vor mir stehen. Möglicherweise habe ich einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Es ist auf jeden Fall noch Platz nach oben und ich wünsche Führung, Geduld und Organisationstalent.

Unser Besuch war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Bereits die Gruppenreservierung war falsch erfasst, was den Eindruck mangelnder Organisation von Anfang an bestätigte. Die Abläufe im Service wirkten durchgehend chaotisch und unkoordiniert. Bestellungen wurden nur teilweise aufgenommen, und eine Servicekraft verließ unseren Tisch mitten in der Bestellaufnahme, bevor alle Gäste bestellen konnten. Dadurch kam es zu weiteren Verzögerungen und Fehlern. Die Wartezeiten waren völlig inakzeptabel: Auf die ersten Getränke warteten wir etwa eine Stunde. Bis der letzte Gast unserer Gruppe sein Essen erhielt, vergingen rund zwei Stunden. Für einen gastronomischen Betrieb ist das nicht nachvollziehbar. Zusätzlich wurde kein Leitungswasser ausgeschenkt, was angesichts der langen Wartezeiten und der sommerlichen Temperaturen besonders unverständlich war. Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber keinesfalls so gut, dass es die enormen Wartezeiten und den mangelhaften Service rechtfertigen würde. Bei sechs Servicekräften erwartet man einen professionellen und effizienten Ablauf. Stattdessen entstand der Eindruck, dass es an Organisation, Kommunikation und Führung mangelt. Insgesamt hinterließ der Besuch den Eindruck eines schlecht geführten Betriebs mit erheblichen organisatorischen Problemen. Die Leistung stand in keinem Verhältnis zu den Preisen oder den Erwartungen an ein Restaurant. Eine Wiederholung kommt für uns nicht infrage.

Naja! Nette Bedienung aber das Essen ist maximal durchschnittlich.

Wir bekamen das Essen, mussten dann nach Besteck fragen. Kann passieren. Leider war im Salat Sand. Da hat jemand nicht richtig gewaschen. Als ich das anmerkte, sagte man, dass das gestern schon mal vorkam und an die Küche weitergegeben wurde. Schade, dass das nicht abgestellt wurde. Die Rechnung war leider am Ende auch falsch. Statt wie auf der Werbetafel 10,90 Euro für die Salami Pizza zu berechnen, wurden 14,90 Euro berechnet. Haben wir leider erst später auf der Rechnung gesehen. Ärgerlich! Dann keine Werbeaufsteller machen, wenn man dann doch mehr berechnet. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, aber wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort. Der Service war freundlich und wir wurden schnell bedient. Ich änderte bei meinem Gericht zwei Beilagen. Das klappte leider nicht, eine Beilage war nicht dabei und musste nachgeliefert werden. Beide Gerichte waren leider sehr schlecht. Mein Steak war innen komplett roh und kalt. sowas habe ich noch nie gesehen. Mir wurde angeboten es neu zu machen, das habe ich ehrlicherweise aber abgelehnt da mir der Anblick auf den Magen schlug. Mein Mann hatte einen Burger, hier war das Fleisch sehr überwürzt und trocken, der auf der Karte benannte cheddar war keiner und der Burger war insgesamt spartanisch angerichtet, nicht appetitlich. Er hat einen neuen Burger bekommen, dieser war aber leider nicht besser. Der Service blieb absolut freundlich aber das rettete es auch nicht. Mein Gericht mussten wir nicht zahlen, verständlicher Weise. Eine Wiederholung wird es für uns nicht geben.

Ich hatte wieder einmal Lust Lübeck zu besuchen und bei der Gelegenheit die dortige Gastronomie weiterzuerkunden. Mit Hilfe von Google Maps entdeckte ich das Ohana in der Lübecker Altstadt. Die Bilder und Videos auf Facebook, Instagram und Google Maps vermittelten den Einruck von einem modern eingerichteten und gleichzeitig gemütlichen Speiselokal mit Innenhof. Die Speisekarte umfasste u. a. Pizza, diverse Fleisch- und Fischgerichte und Burger, die für mich natürlich der Hauptmotivator für einen Besuch darstellten. Mein bevorzugter Bacon-Cheeseburger war nicht in der Karte, aber dafür ein Sucuk-Burger (150 g Sucuk, Blattsalat, Gurke, Tomate, Zwiebeln, Burgersoße); da ich etwas Neues ausprobieren wollte, legte ich mich auf den Sucuk-Burger fest; jeder Burger wurde als Menü mit Pommes und Salatbeilage angeboten. Zu den Speisen stand auf der Homepage: "Bei Ohana erwartet dich Qualität, die man schmeckt. Unsere Speisen werden frisch und mit besten Zutaten zubereitet.[...]Ob Burger, Pasta, Pizza, Snacks oder Drinks - hier stimmt jeder Biss und jeder Schluck. Genuss in Top-Qualität, direkt im Herzen von Lübeck." Neben Speisen gab es auch ein großes Angebot an Getränke sowie eine separate Cocktailkarte, da das Ohana als Restaurant und Bar bezeichnet wurde. Die Bewertungen sahen gut aus: Yelp: 3,3 Sterne bei 72 Bewertungen (Bewertungen von 2016 und älter) Google: 4,3 Sterne bei 1'036 Rezensionen Facebook: nicht repräsentativ Als ich an einem sommerlichen Montag mittags in der Hüxstraße ankam, musste ich etwas suchen, da der Eingang zum Ohana etwas unscheinbar aussah; es befand sich in zweiter Reihe und war über eine kurze Passage erreichbar, die direkt in den Innenhof führte. Im Ohana bestätigte sich der Eindruck, den ich online gewonnen hatte. Wegen des sommerlichen Wetters nahm ich im Innenhof unter einem großen Sonnenschirm Platz. Außer mir war ein weiterer Gast anwesend, aber später kam noch eine kleine Gruppe hinzu. Bei einem freundlichen Kellner bestellte ich meinen Burger mit einer großen Cola Zero Sugar (0,4 l); das Getränk wurde zeitnah serviert und das Essen folgte etwa 10 Minuten später. Der Burger war nicht, wie ich gehofft hatte, mit einem Sucuk-Patty sondern mit Sucuk-Scheiben belegt, aber er schmeckte gut, die Pommes waren knusprig und die knackige Salatbeilage war ein erfrischender Einstieg, aber ich fand den Preis von 16,90 € für einen kleinen Burger mit Beilagen und 5,90 € für 0,4 Liter Cola etwas hoch, aber das lag wahrscheinlich auch an der exklusiven Lage in der Lübecker Altstadt. Wer in noblem Ambienten gut speisen möchte, ist im Ohana goldrichtig.

Carbonara war cremig, das Essen war - wie das Lokal auch - was fürs Auge. Die Nudeln Aglio e Olio jedoch waren SEHR enttäuschend. Eher Nudeln mit Brühe. Kein frischer Knoblauch zu finden. Für 15 € war das sehr ärgerlich. Die Pizzen neben uns sahen gut aus. Vielleicht testen wir es noch ein 2. Mal. Nudeln würde ich hier aber nicht empfehlen…

Der Service war eine 10/10!!! Wir haben kurzfristig den JGA meiner Freundin dort gefeiert und das Team hat es uns nur vereinfacht, sowie unvergesslich gemacht. Sehr zuvorkommend, sehr organisatorisch! Vielen lieben Dank an die zwei Hübschen Mädels die so freundlich uns bedient haben und uns entgegen kamen.

Ich war dort vor kurzen mein erstes mal und wusste nicht, dass es noch weitere Karaoke-Bar‘s in Lübeck gibt. Sonst kenne ich das nur von Japan. Ich war sehr positiv überrascht, wie gut das Bar-Ambiente mit Karaoke zusammen gepasst hat. Zudem finde ich auch mega, dass jeder sein Song singen konnte, und die Leute bei jedem Song mitgegangen sind. Sehr geil. :) Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Es braucht mehr Karaoke-Bars! ❤️

Sehr freundliche Bedienung mit guter Beratung zur Speisenauswahl und Kinderfreundlich Angenehmes Ambiente. Sehr aufmerksamer Kellner. Speisen Fisch (Dorade, Lachs), Rouladen, Pizza sehr lecker. Nicht Totgebraten. Sehr frisch und saftig. Immer wieder gerne.

Dessert enttäuscht, alles andere perfekt! Ein spontaner Besuch in Lübeck, ohne Reservierung führte uns in dieses Restaurant. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und hatten freie Platzwahl. Im Laufe der Zeit füllte sich das Restaurant und wir waren überrascht über diesen hervorragenden Service mit einem einzigen Mitarbeiter für das ganze Restaurant. Auch der Hauptgang war perfekt! Beim Dessert waren wir mehr als enttäuscht. Ein Fertigprodukt von einem Fremdanbieter hatten wir hier eigentlich nicht erwartet. Wie einfach ist es, ein günstiges und gutes Dessert frisch zuzubereiten?! Dafür braucht es keine Produkte der Firma Bindi, die zudem nicht wirklich gut schmecken. Insgesamt ist dieses Restaurant aber durchaus empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Leider kam unser Essen nicht (in einem nur mäßig besetzten Restaurant am Sonnabend zur Miaagszeit): 3 Personen bestellten denkbar einfache Gerichte: Pizza, Suppe und Penne. Als nach 20 min nach uns kommende Gäste ihr Essen bekamen,.fragten wir zum ersten Mal nach unserem Essen, nach 30 min und weiteren nach uns gekommenen, aber zügig bedienten Gästen ein zweites Mal. Als wir nach 40 min erfuhren, es dauere noch "fünf Minuten" hatten wir genug - wir brachen sehr hungrig auf. Richtig zornig aber wurden wir, als wir - statt uns zu entschädigen - auch noch die Getränke zahlen sollten: zwei (kleine) Cola, eine Virgin Piña Colada (also ohne Alkohol) = EUR 20,50!! Wir raten vom Besuch dieser Gaststätte daher dringend ab!

Nach langem langen wieder mal in der Ohanabar gewesen und ich muss wirklich sagen es war sehr sehr schön. Wir waren zu viert das Essen des Ambiente und das Personal super super super kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Hier werden wir auf jeden Fall noch mal vorbeischauen.

We had cheeseburgers and pizza rolls – they specifically asked us if we wanted curly fries or regular ones – we wanted curly and got regular ones (when we asked at the end if everything was okay and mentioned it, we just got a shrug and "oh yeah"). We had to wait 40 minutes for our food, even though it wasn't very busy. The pizza rolls were black and burnt, and the cheeseburger was a bargain for €14.90. The waiters were loudly arguing in front of the guests about which tables were wrongly booked, which isn't something you do in front of guests. The cocktails were, as always, delicious. Of the old staff, only Holger seems to be still there – a ray of hope because he always knew what you wanted and was very accommodating and friendly. Conclusion: It's definitely worth it for the cocktails, but for the food, I don't know; perhaps other dishes are better.

Very good food, even as an individual I was treated very attentively.

I ate at the ohana with my family, and I have to say it was absolutely wonderful. The service was outstanding; our children were catered to, and our every wish was practically anticipated. The pizzas we ordered were so good; we've rarely eaten such great pizza.

If you're in Lübeck's old town, you should definitely eat here. It's incredibly delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, the service is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there both evenings.

Unfortunately, I am still waiting for a response regarding my table reservation.

Here, for example, you can enjoy good burgers in a cozy atmosphere right on Hüxstrasse in Lübeck's old town. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Lübeck.

The ambiance with the LEDs was quite classy, ​​as was the high-quality furnishings. The pizza Napoletano tasted okay without any sophisticated highlights, but the price was already upper mid-range (€15.90). One of my companions specifically ordered fried potatoes, which came first with fries, then boiled and lightly fried potatoes with the skin on. These weren't traditional fried potatoes. Although we were seated very close to the kitchen, waiters kept rushing past us, including with our food, which was initially carried elsewhere. It seemed rather disorganized. Luckily, we only waited 15 minutes to pay, while a couple next door waited half an hour. With more attentive service, we would certainly have taken advantage of the happy hour specials. The food was okay, but nothing special; the service was pretty abysmal for such a large place. It would be good for business if things could improve.

A very nice and cozy atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food and service weren't convincing. The food was okay but not particularly good, which contrasted with the ambiance. The service was initially strained but then overwhelmed. No one came to our tables for a long time after dinner, otherwise we would have included happy hour. Unfortunately, overall, it wasn't impressive. A side note: the restrooms are only for slim people and not for those with claustrophobia.

Always delicious, waiters very friendly especially Holger, and interiors as well as courtyard very pretty

True to its name, the place was pleasantly family-friendly. They even had coloring boards for the kids and crayons. I had the Italian Burger, and it was delicious. The children's portion of schnitzel was very, very generous. The ambiance of the restaurant resembles an empty art gallery. The decor is relatively colorful, which I thought was nice, but that's clearly a matter of taste. The service was prompt and friendly. I think the prices are fair. We sat outside in the courtyard under a parasol. But you can also sit inside or at the bar.

We were there for a karaoke event in the evening. Unfortunately, the service staff wasn't on their toes. But it was a great evening.

We discovered this Italian restaurant by chance when we were walking around the city of Lübeck. The entrance to the restaurant is not on the street itself, but in the courtyard. From the street you can only see the Italian flag and a sign with the name. I took a photo where you can see the sign. Don't pass by! We were there at lunchtime and ordered pasta and pizza. Everything was very tasty. Lunch for two with a Coke cost 45 euros. We dined in the courtyard on the open terrace, in the evening and in winter you can dine inside the restaurant. The restaurant definitely has its own style and charm. The entire design is done in a modern Italian style, completely different from the German one. This is what makes it interesting. The interior is very nice inside. I am sure that you will spend a good evening with good food in this restaurant. I highly recommend visiting.

We randomly walked into this restaurant, and since we were very hungry, we were pleasantly surprised. The portions were very filling and the price-performance ratio was excellent. Also, the Turkish waiter (a man) took great care of us, and we would like to thank him especially.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. The pizza margarita was okay, but the chicken schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce was a complete disaster. The sauce was already disintegrating into its individual pieces, and the schnitzel was unfortunately in the fryer for far too long. The icing on the cake was the bill, where everything, including the schnitzel, was charged in full. After a brief and cheeky discussion with the waiter, it was finally taken off the menu. All in all, a truly lousy evening with a bitter aftertaste. Never, ever again!!!

We had zander and cod, both of which were excellent. Well-cooked, with tasty seasoning. The side dishes were also good, especially the fried potatoes. It was a chance find, and we were all the more thrilled.

Looking for a quiet, stylish spot for cocktails and a chat after work, we stopped by Ohana. The cocktails are delicious. The finger-food snacks provided an unexpected wow factor: How can simple garlic bread and simple tortillas taste so good that they evoke the aforementioned wow effect? The ambiance is very pleasant, the company calm and sophisticated, the service courteous and with just the right touch of humor. You feel comfortable and welcome. The prices are reasonable. The value, however, is excellent! We'll be back. Promise.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great lunch here. We were there with two kids, and after waiting 45 minutes and asking around, we realized that the food had been forgotten or lost. Half of it arrived after 10 minutes (pizza rolls, where the burnt bits were cut off, and a pizza). The two salads arrived even later.

It was excellent, very beautiful environment, beautiful music and very good service!

We sat in the courtyard. It was very quiet and cozy. The food (falafel & chicken burger with fries) was truly delicious. The service was attentive and fast. And above all, very honest. When I praised the truly delicious fries, I was told they weren't homemade. ;) We really liked the restaurant, and as a local, this would probably be one of my favorite places to eat something delicious and not too expensive.

Relaxed atmosphere. Service with a smile and very nice food, yet not too expensive. Would definitely go back again. The deco is amazingly beautiful.

Not impressed. The same dishes can be found better and cheaper elsewhere. To be fair, the pasta dish was fine - but overpriced. The other dish, the potato dish was sad. We waited a long time to get the food. Who seemed to be the non-working owner of the place’s friends were seated at the table next to us - we arrived shortly before them and they managed to get and finish their dinner before we got ours. On a positive note, the outdoor area seems cozy for a day with better weather. But we’ll find another place next time.

We were able to sit outside, and there was no loss of cleanliness, service, or timing, as we had experienced sitting inside. We'd be happy to come back.

The food was very tasty but 19% (automatic) tip is crazy

I have a confession to make! I'm one of those people who likes to take photos, of the food and the restaurant. Not on this day, though. I meet up once a month with three dear friends, and then we drive to Lübeck every now and then to shop and eat. On Saturday, July 12th, we walked along Hüxstraße and, after a few unsuccessful attempts, found this wonderful restaurant and bar, Ohana, which translates as "family." That's exactly how we feel here at Ohana, visiting family. Excellent service that will be hard to top. The staff, if I may put it that way, is extremely competent, attentive, friendly, and, importantly for me, humorous and with a smile on their faces. The owner is a real heart. The ambiance is very stylish. Everything depends on the food, just like the service. So, let's get to the food 🥰 A friend and I had beef meatballs, French fries, and salad. The others had a veggie burger with fries and a pizza with salmon. I have to say, these were truly the best beef meatballs we've ever eaten. Juicy, deliciously seasoned, but the flavor of the meat wasn't overpowering. TOP 💪 The fries were different than I'm used to and, for me, fantastic. Topped with a delicious light sauce. I'll order it again. The pizza was just as fantastic; the crust not only looked good, my friend was raving about it. And at first, the veggie burger side didn't say a word, as she too was just concentrating on her juicy, delicious burger. Understandable. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable in every area. I, no, we, can wholeheartedly recommend Ohana. If you live in Lübeck or are visiting, then definitely go to Ohana. My personal impression is that the food and service here are cooked with passion. Thank you very much and once again, a big compliment to the kitchen and service.

You might think I was bribed, but never! The "new" Ohana is perfect if you want to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or family in a pleasant atmosphere. The price and quality are right, everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is very attentive and super polite! There's always someone outside to take care of the guests' needs, so you don't feel left out. Last night was karaoke; it was incredibly crowded and great to listen to everyone. No one felt disturbed, and that was fantastic. Thanks to the entire Ohana team for the wonderful "break" from everyday life.

Sitting comfortably and quietly in the courtyard – perfect for enjoying the food. The chicken hunter's schnitzel was tender and crispy, the mushroom sauce creamy and delicious. Accompanied by a chilled bottle of rosé – wonderful! Friendly service and a lovely ambiance at Ohana Lübeck.

We spontaneously stopped by today and were very impressed by the place. A great atmosphere, super friendly and attentive service, and the food – in our case, a pizza each – was a real treat. You can tell it's homemade and the emphasis is on quality. I'd happily pay €2-3 more for that. We'd love to come back :)

A restaurant in a backyard with an extravagant ambiance. The cocktails were excellent. Although my companion forgot the dishes, I have to commend the guys; they did a great job! The chili burger could have been a bit spicier; it tasted like a regular cheeseburger. And please change the Greek salad with feta immediately. A Greek salad consists of tomatoes, onions, olives, pepperoni, feta, and Greek olive oil, not balsamic vinegar.

Don’t waste your money. We waited almost an hour for our food. We asked about it, and the waiter went to check. Two minutes later, he came back with the food, which was almost cold. A boring pizza and a carbonara made with loads of cream. The place itself is cozy, and our waiter was actually quite friendly, but he seemed very busy. We were very disappointed with the food and the lack of service. We noticed another couple sent back their food and left, and other customers were also waiting a Long time for food.

I can only recommend everyone to visit this restaurant...great people...the chef Leon is super nice...the food and drinks are delicious...we spent a wonderful evening there...the shop has a beautiful style....👌

We were there late this afternoon and tucked into the delicious burgers with fried potato wedges. The burgers were unlike anything else we've had and incredibly tasty. The atmosphere in the courtyard, with pleasantly soft music, is wonderful. The service was a bit slow, but warm and attentive. There's more on the menu waiting to be tried. We'll be back!

As a family we felt very well looked after. The lasagna was rated 10 out of 10 (by the child). The pizzas are a 9 out of 10 and the baked potato with chicken is a 10 out of 10. The shop impresses with a very good wine and beer/cocktail list. The atmosphere is very nice..modern..industrial..cosy I have seating furniture... Absolute recommendation... We sat outside under the heat mushrooms in winter which was super cozy. Very well-groomed top waiter. Unfortunately I didn't eat.

The Ohana is totally cozy and stylishly furnished. Unfortunately, I deduct points for the portion size. Prices have risen and portions have become smaller. In addition, for a good six months now you have not been able to pay by card, only via PayPal Friends & Family. CAUTION! The toilets are clean and hygiene products for women and babies are available.

A table had been booked, but unfortunately it wasn't available when we arrived. A temporary solution was quickly set up. The food that was then ordered was not as ordered and was sometimes incorrect. Cutlery was completely missing and only came when requested. In the meantime the completely tasteless soup had cooled down. The service was visibly overwhelmed. It couldn't be paid by card, but the service staff didn't have change either. The waitress has to run twice for change. Here even one star is still too many. Actually there should be at least three minuses! Once and never again.
