Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service allerdings nicht. Denn schon gegen 21.15 begann eine Servicekraft Stühle auf die Tische zu stellen und andere warfen das geputzte Besteck laut in einen Besteckkasten. Als wir bezahlen wollten, hielten sich die Servicekräfte länger in der Küche auf, sodass wir und andere an der Theke warteten. Schade!

Mein Mann hat einen Tisch für uns zwei gebucht. Mit dem Zusatz, dass ich an dem Tag einen runden Geburtstag haben werde. Nach der Begrüßung, die nach langen Ignoriertwerden, stattfand, und man den Namen gefunden hat, (leider ohne den kleinsten Geburtstagsgruß auszusprechen) wurden wir zum Tisch begleitet. Man gab uns kommentarlos die Karten und brachte kurze Zeit später, ohne ein Wort zu sagen, eine Tasse Popcorn. Weder die erste, noch die zweite Servicekraft, vermittelte uns das Gefühl, dass sie sich über unsere Anwesenheit freute. Als wir bei der Bestellung nicht innerhalb von 10 Sekunden das Getränk nennen konnten, das wir gerne trinken wollten, sagte man, man würde noch mal wieder kommen, wenn wir uns entschieden hätten. Die Bestellung der Getränke und des Essens lief mit möglichst wenig Kundenkontakt ab. Das Essen selbst (wir hatten beide eine Sushi-Bowl) war lecker, der Fisch von guter Qualität, aber so richtig umgehauen hat es einen nicht. Es fehle das gewisse Etwas. In der Zwischenzeit wurde ein älteres Paar sehr unfreundlich abgewiesen. Die Lautstärke war sehr lebhaft, wobei wir uns daran nicht stören lassen. Die Verabschiedung fiel genau so kühl aus, wie die Begrüßung.

Leider war es diesmal ein Reinfall für uns alle. Das Tuna Sashimi war tot gebraten und faserig. Es war auch unserer Meinung nach niemals Sashimi Qualität, eher gute TK Ware, dann aber bitte auch so deklarieren und den Preis anpassen. So kann der Gast selber entscheiden, ob es so möchte oder nicht! Der Festtagsburger war halbwegs ok, bis auf das Patty, welches der Star auf dem Burger sein sollte, das sah nicht nur unlecker aus, es schmeckte auch überhaupt nicht. Definitiv ein Fertigpatty. Das Schnitzel war lecker, gut gebraten, aber bedauerlicherweise etwas dünn. Das Personal war mega nett, der Laden wie immer sehr ansprechend gestaltet und da es Nachsaison ist, war auch die Akustik gut. Nach Bemängelung des Tuna Sashimis bot man uns nur einen Espresso oder Kaffee als Entschädigung an. Eigentlich wollten wir in diesem Urlaub wieder öfter im Ahoi zu Gast sein, das wird aber nicht der Fall sein. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis hat leider überhaupt nicht gestimmt und es hat auch einfach nicht geschmeckt. Das kennen wir vom Ahoi anders und das könnt ihr sicher auch viel besser ;-)

Es wurde das falsche Essen aufgetragen, der Fehler bestätigt und eine umgehende Korrektur versprochen. Das Ersatzessen ging dann aber an einen anderen Gast. Nach 90 Minuten haben wir dann die übrigen Essen bezahlt und meine Frau hat das Restaurant hungrig verlassen.

Tischreservierung um 18 Uhr für 3 Personen . 18:25 Uhr Bestellung aufgegeben mit einer Vorspeise für eine Person. Vorspeise wurde serviert. Danach ging es leider unschön weiter. Die Hauptspeise wurde nicht serviert. Auf Nachfrage wurde die Servicekraft sehr unfreundlich und hat unsere Bestellung storniert. Sie weigerte sich außerdem, uns weiter zu bedienen. Wir waren geschockt. Den Namen der Bedienung konnten wir nicht erfahren. Ein Gespräch mit dem Chef blieb unbefriedigend. Wir verstehen den Streß bei Personalmangel, aber so ein arrogantes Verhalten einer Angestellten gegenüber einem Gast ist nicht entschuldbar.

Wir haben zu zweit gegessen, 1x Ente (Wintergericht) und 1x Currywurst mit Pommes Henssler Style, beide Gerichte haben uns gut geschmeckt. Sie waren genau so wie man sich das gewünscht hatte. Die Bedienungen waren superfreundlich und aufmerksam, danke dafür! Einziges Manko ist und bleibt die Geräuschkulisse im Ahoi Travemünde, mit steigender Gästezahl wird es unangenehm laut. Trotzdem hat uns unser Besuch heute gefallen und wir kommen auch gerne wieder.

Hallo OpenTable, die Serviceleute waren bemüht, aber wohl unterbesetzt. Die lange Wartezeit auf die Speisen und den Geräuschpegel empfanden wir gerade noch zumutbar. Wir waren mit zwei Hunden da, ich hatte dies bei der Reservierung angegeben und um einen bestimmten Platz im Restaurant gebeten. Leider wurden wir dann mitten drin platziert. Für uns eher unentspannt weil es an diesem Abend (samstags) sehr voll und viele Kinder anwesend waren. Da wir schon öfter im Restaurant waren können wir vergleichen. Wäre es der erste Besuch gewesen, so wäre es auch der letzte gewesen. Bei der Reservierung wurde nach dem Anlass gefragt (Geburtstag meiner Frau). Auch dies blieb ohne Resonanz seitens des Personals. Anfang November, wenig los. Freie Tischwahl trotz Reservierung. Getränke kamen innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Offenbar gab es jedoch ein Systemproblem, auch an einen anderen Tisch. Bestellungen wurden nicht korrekt übertragen. So auch die Bestellung für unser Essen. So dauerte es dann doch recht lange, bis die Servicekraft bemerkte, dass wir noch nichts bekommen hatten. Das ging es schnell. Inserat haben wir knapp eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Eine kleine Entschuldigung gab es aufs Haus. Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Dauer war das Essen dann aber auch extern heiß.

Wir hatten zu 18.30 Uhr reserviert und waren 18.23 Uhr da. Es gab im ganzen Restaurant nur 2 Bedienungen, die Ihr Bestes gaben. Unsere Bestellung wurde nach 45 Minuten aufgenommen. Nach 60 Minuten kamen die Getränke. Nach 2 Stunden und 10 Minuten kam das Essen. Alle Gäste um uns rum waren ähnlich bedient und saßen mit Kindern seit Stunden. Man hat immer gedacht gleich geht's los. Wenn wir nicht voller Hoffnung gewesen wären und eine Alternative gehabt hätten, wären wir gegangen. Wir hatten aber schon 8 Euro für die Personenfähre bezahlt und wollten nicht hungrig wieder gehen. Die Bedienungen waren völlig überfordert. Es gab keine Ansagen, dass es länger dauern könnte, keine Informationen, keine Entschädigung. Für uns bedeutete das noch, dass wir an dem Abend leider keine Wellness mehr machen konnten, weshalb wir unseren Urlaub nur gebucht hatten, da der Bereich im Hotel dann schon geschlossen hatte. Wir wollten extra früher essen, um im Anschluss noch schön den Abend im Pool ausklingen zu lassen. Grotesk! In der Küche war auch nur ein Mitarbeiter plus eine Barkraft. Unglaublich! Mitarbeiter, die im so einer Situation allein gelassen wurden und versucht haben, irgendwie zu überleben. Wenn man unterbewertet ist, darf man keine Gäste reinlassen. So einfach ist das. Zudem war meine Bowl dann auch einfach nur zusammengeklatscht und eine einzige Soße. Wir haben s dann aber einfach gegessen. Was auch sonst? AHOI Priwall NIE WIEDER! Ach ja, es gab weder Popcorn vorab noch irgendwas anderes. Auf die Frage nach WLan, damit wir uns die Zeit vertreiben könnten, kam die Antwort " WLAN nur intern. Nicht für Gäste ". Wie nett! Der Besuch im AHOI PRIWALL hat uns unseren 1.Urlaubsabend regelrecht verdorben! Im WC keine Handtücher.... ein Laden, der von uns auf keinen Fall mehr betreten wird. Auf die Erklärung des Geschäftsführers bin ich gespannt. Wir werden nicht die einzigen sein, die ihm mailen werden!

Wir hatten sehr hohe Erwartungen an den Abend, doch leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Trotz Reservierung mussten wir knapp 10min am Eingang warten bis ein Tisch gerichtet wurde. Die Servicedame war ALLEINE was man ihr nicht angemerkt hat. Sie war echt bemüht u freundlich. Wir wurden bei der Bestellaufnahme darauf hingewiesen, dass es heute ETWAS länger dauert, doch was bedeutet etwas??? Auf die Getränkebestellung haben wir 40min gewartet, das Essen 1x Sushibowle mit Lachs und 1x mit CrispyChicken haben wir 1St 45min gewartet. Unser Nachbartisch hat 2 1/2 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet. Geschmacklich hat uns die selbstgemachte Majonaide den Geschmack von allem anderen geklaut. Bei den Getränken( hausgemachte Limo u Mojito) war der Geschmack auch nicht so der Hammer(Maraquia bestellt Geschmack Orange). Alles in allem war dieser Abend nicht gelungen. Die Servicedame, die wirklich versucht hat mit ihrer charmanten Art alles gerade zu biegen, war unser High Light an diesem Abend. Ich glaube, wenn sie nicht gewesen wäre, wären wir einfach nur gegangen um ein leckeres Fischbrötchen auf der Promenade zu essen. Es tut mir echt leid unser Erlebnis so schildern zu müssen, doch leider war es tatsächlich so.

Die Kellnerin war total gut, aber leider hilflos überfordert, da für das halbe Restaurant zuständig. Man sollte über mehr Personal nachdenken, damit nicht alle Gäste für jede Kleinigkeit warten müssen. Auch die Tische der Gäste, die das Restaurant verlassen, könnten dann zeitnah abgeräumt werden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber der Gesamteindruck war halt negativ.

Das Essen ist soweit ok, die Bedienung ist zwar freundlich aber einige sind nicht sehr aufmerksam! Es ist alles ordentlich aber nicht gemütlich und recht laut ( der Laden war nicht voll)! Bestellt man Henssler Style, sind auf den Fritten ein paar Kleckse, dass ist für den Preis etwas wenig! Der Fisch war in einer viel zu dicken Panade! Der Tunfisch war lecker aber viel zu viel Reis und viel zu wenig Sauce! Für ein Restaurant in Verbindung mit Henssler erwarte ich doch etwas mehr- und es war auch mal besser!

This was our second – but now also our last – time there. The first time, we thought it was a typical tourist spot, but we returned a year later because the location is really beautiful and the accessibility by boat is great. But that can't make up for everything. As soon as we took our order, it was clear to us that the employee seemed a bit overwhelmed and that there might be problems with the order. And so it was: instead of two drinks for two people, we only got one and the starter didn't arrive at all. In the meantime, the waitress had changed and someone else brought us the main course. When we mentioned that we were still missing our starter, the waitress seemed completely unimpressed and even then the starter didn't arrive. The main courses were mediocre; you can tell it's not about quality, but quantity, and even the sweet potato fries were sometimes undercooked. At the end, when the bill was taken, waitress 1 came back and asked if everything had arrived. When we pointed out for the second time that it hadn't, the bill was reduced without any further comment of regret, and that was that. We don't need to talk about customer satisfaction here. Anyone who values ​​a clean toilet or sink without paper scraps, etc., should probably wait. In general, it quickly becomes clear that they're trying to hide behind the Henssler name and thus justify mediocre quality – whether this is actually what they intend...

We went for Sunday lunch and decided on Ahoi. Firstly, because of the great location, and secondly, to try it out. We had the classic fish & chips and the teriyaki burger with fries. Despite the seemingly simple nature of the dishes, the kitchen managed to give them a special touch 🫶👏 truly delicious!! However, I would like to add one more comment: Please use a milder or less mustard on the burger next time 🍔, it was too overpowering... But otherwise, really great 👌 We were on a motorbike tour from SN to Priwall and can highly recommend it. We will definitely be back for dinner and a bite to eat. Best regards, Sven

Home after more than 2 hours without food ... The waiter's service was perfect, but it was probably the kitchen's fault (as always, people you don't see). The first photo shows our table waiting for an hour, but unfortunately, no food had arrived. The waiter was also slow on several occasions. The table next to us ordered after us but got their food first... For whatever reason... We're waiting now; an hour has passed since we ordered. As you can see from the photos, the restaurant is only a third full... We're still waiting for our food... We reserved the table at 7:30 p.m. It's now 9:00 p.m. The only thing that's ready is a single appetizer. We're still not being noticed. We're still waiting for our food. I think we either fell asleep or the restaurant will close before we get our food. Our recommendation is simply: If you're hungry, go somewhere else to eat. Unfortunately, we don't have any way to advertise the quality yet. In retrospect, the quality was probably good. It's a shame we expected more 🤷🏻‍♂️ but that's just how it is sometimes. The fourth photo shows the food delivery after 1 hour and 30 minutes. Not everything arrived... The rest had to wait... In the end, we had two meals out of seven... Unfortunately, there were no more.

Down-to-earth cuisine with a modern twist, deliciously prepared with high-quality ingredients. The service is excellent! Friendly, attentive, and witty. The whole experience is topped off by a fantastic, modern ambiance and a prime location. It's a must-visit in the evenings, especially after 6 p.m., when the ferries from Scandinavia arrive. Despite the famous name and location, the value for money is excellent.

Since we had a voucher, we visited Ahoi Steffen Henssler. Reserving a table was no problem. Even being half an hour early wasn't a problem at all. Our server was very, very friendly. The house lemonade was delicious. The chicken burger was also tasty, but here's a little tip for the kitchen: I had to cut the lump of chicken into strips and put them back on the burger. This made the burger much easier to eat, and it actually tasted better that way. The fries were very good and crispy. The amount of mayonnaise for €1 was absolutely ridiculous. Otherwise, it could be more inviting, cozy, and cleaner in some places.

We were at the Ahoi restaurant on Priwall in Travemünde today and were more than disappointed. Despite it being very quiet, we still hadn't even received our food after waiting for over an hour. No information, no warning, nothing. Only when we asked were we helplessly told that there was only one person in the kitchen – they couldn't give us a clear answer as to how long it would take. A warning when ordering, or at the latest after 30 minutes, would have been the bare minimum. Instead, we were left completely in the dark. Completely unacceptable for us – we paid for the drinks and left. Treating guests like this is unprofessional and disrespectful. We're certain: Never again.

Nice ambiance, but we were very disappointed with the food. For €14.50, we got a burger with a leaf of lettuce, a chicken patty half the size, and a slice of tomato... the description specifically stated "with brioche bun and romaine lettuce"... yes, the lettuce was the one small leaf on the burger. We mentioned it, and the burger was taken away, but then she came back with it and said that the chef thought it was the way it should be. I had a bowl, but the rice wasn't proper sushi rice and was very watery. A bit disappointing for the price. But it's perfect for a drink, and there's always a beautiful view of the water and promenade.

Delicious, child-friendly, great value for money, and a great location. We popped in spontaneously after a walk. Despite our stroller and child, we were welcomed and were able to immediately choose a lovely table outside with the best view of the beach and the Trave estuary. Our waiter made a small mistake while ordering, so we got fried fish instead of schnitzel for our little one, but this was rectified immediately and very friendly. For us parents, we shared an appetizer and bowls for the main course, and we were very, very satisfied. Thank you and we'll be back!

It was my sister's birthday and she reserved a table online 2-3 weeks in advance. When we got there, we could choose whether to eat inside or outside. We chose outside. My sister and I sat at the table in question and waited until we received the menus. However, the wait was in vain, so we asked again. Here, too, we had to wait a very long time. Only when we asked another waitress to give us the menus did we get them. Waiting for the menus alone took about 15 minutes. After we ordered, our drinks arrived after a while (we ordered drinks and food together). My sister and I waited for our food, but in vain. We didn't want to be pushy and ask where our food was right away, so we just waited. At some point, we noticed that at least three other tables, who arrived much later than us, already had their food. At some point, even the waitress noticed that we were still waiting. After a total of 1.5 hours, our food finally arrived. We ordered at 7:40 p.m., and the food arrived at 9:25 p.m. And to top it all off, they turned off the lights on the terrace (we only had the lights from inside) because the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. At least that was some compensation; we could choose a free dessert. Conclusion: The food was delicious and warm. However, we were simply forgotten, and there was no real, heartfelt apology. Unfortunately, this ruined our evening, as it consisted only of waiting. We definitely wouldn't go back, as the food wasn't anything special compared to another restaurant. What a shame...

It's good that Steffen Henssler sold the restaurants; it's a shame they're allowed to continue dragging his name through the mud. A 25-minute wait for an order. Then another 50 minutes for the food to arrive. My wife's salad was missing two of the listed ingredients. The burger and currywurst were quite good, the fries were the best. But you somehow expect more from a Henssler restaurant; it's still a matter of taste, and others might like it better. The colleague who took over the situation for us out of necessity was very nice, but he couldn't fix what his colleague, the kitchen, and especially the management had messed up.

The food was truly delicious, and the view of the sea was truly magnificent. The restaurant is beautifully and comfortably decorated, and blankets are handed out when it gets chilly in the evening. However, the service is unfortunately very poor; we waited about 1.20 hours for the food (it only came after we asked, as the service at the neighboring tables was moving a bit faster). During this time, the wait staff barely paid us any attention; they didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink (our glasses had already been empty for a good quarter of an hour). You had to make yourself known so clearly that you sometimes felt ignored. Even for a simple drink order, you had to wait a disproportionately long, in our opinion.

We went here on the last night of our trip hoping for a relaxed evening and good food, but the experience was very disappointing. It took one full hour just to get a simple edamame starter, and only after asking four times. In total, we waited two hours for our food, which was finally served only when we said we were about to leave. To be fair, our server was trying her best, but it was obvious that the real problem lies in the poor management. It creates a terrible experience not just for customers, but also for the staff who seem stuck in a stressful environment. When the food finally arrived, it was just average nothing special and overpriced for the quality. Overall, I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of local spots with better food and much smoother service where you can actually enjoy your night.

Unfortunately it was a really bad experience here. We waited over 1 hour for the starters which was just edamame and over 2 hours for our food (burgers). Once we received it, the burger was cold and the potatoes hot.. they also had several things wrong in the order. They did give us a 20% discount and shots to compensate, but it didnt really seem that the service cared, it seemed they were used to having this problem. We also noticed they other people had the same problem, and a couple even left after waiting for 2 hours for their food. The food quality.. as previously stated the burger was cold, and some items on the order were wrong. In general, the food quality was good but nothing special, expect something like Dean & David or burgers like Burger Me but with a huge 2 hour waiting time.

We were relatively disappointed this time. The reservation was made after a birthday, but unfortunately no one took this into account. The tables were dirty, some of the chairs were broken. Plants were growing between the cracks on the terrace, and the glass panes were dirty. It seemed very unkempt. We waited an hour for the food without a word from the service. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm. The steak was soggy from standing under the heat lamp for so long, even though I wanted it medium. I searched in vain for pepper and salt and it was put out too late. After asking if anything was missing, my wife said the cutlery was actually quite nice. Some of the fries were over-fried. Given the concept of a small, modern menu, I was completely out of touch. The well-known chef was obviously just passing on his name and not his knowledge of good service. What a pity. I am unfortunately very disappointed.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed and cannot recommend it. Even during the process, it was clear that the place was very disorganized and not customer-focused. While the concept sounds like relaxed dining with steak, burgers, bowls, and the like, the execution feels more like chaotic fast food. Unfortunately, without the "fast" element. Despite having a reservation for seven people, we only received our appetizer (2x edamame) after 1.5 hours (!) upon request. Meanwhile, guests around us who arrived later were served much faster. On the way to the restroom, we saw numerous finished plates sitting under the heat lamp that simply hadn't been brought to the tables. After a total of 3 hours (!), our main course finally arrived. And this was also disappointing: • Fries overcooked • Wrong burger • No mayonnaise ordered • Portions sometimes very small for the price The remaining dishes were "okay" at best, but anything but what you'd expect from a restaurant bearing Steffen Henssler's name. Another couple even left without a main course. That really says it all. We did get a discount in the end, but it couldn't save the evening. For our last evening of vacation, it was a disappointment, a real waste of time and anticipation.

We were at Ahoy on Wednesday evening with 8 people (4 adults, 4 children). We ordered around 7:00 p.m. – half knew immediately what they wanted, the other half thought about it for a moment. When the waiter took the rest of the order after about 15 minutes, we were excited for our meal. 5 minutes later, the first half's food arrived. We thought, "This is going fast today." Unfortunately, not. Meanwhile, other guests came and went, received their food, and the second half of our group was still waiting. At 7:40 p.m., I asked if we had been forgotten. Instead of asking the kitchen, they simply said the restaurant was understaffed today and it might take longer. The next table, which arrived later, was immediately told it could take up to an hour – unfortunately, we weren't. In this price range, and if you don't just want to "serve" tourists, you should actually go to the table yourself and inform the guests if there are any delays. At 8:10 p.m., as the mood slowly changed (one half had already finished, the children were getting impatient), I asked another waiter. He checked the kitchen and said it would only take five minutes and everything was currently being redone. For me, as someone with restaurant experience, it was clear: I'd forgotten my order. There were only three dishes left: steak, fish & chips, and a kids' burger. These arrived as promised. Part 2 – The Steak I ordered the steak medium rare. However, the first steak was under the salamander for far too long – unacceptable for €30. So I continued nibbling on fries, just like I had been for the previous 1.5 hours. The second steak was indeed medium rare – but the pepperoni cream I'd ordered was missing. When I asked for a new one, I received a previously used cream, presumably my old one. Absolutely incomprehensible, questionable from a hygiene perspective, and unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. Conclusion A very disappointing evening. If you're understaffed, you shouldn't open all areas during peak season, but only as many as the staff can manage. When we left the restaurant after paying, the counter between the kitchen and the service area was still full of finished plates – a sign of clear organizational problems.

I'd love to say something about the food at this restaurant. But unfortunately, it never happened. I thought to myself, oh, I'm on vacation in Travemünde with my wife. It's her birthday today, so let's go to a special restaurant for dinner, but the only thing special about this restaurant is the name. We had a reservation for 6:30 p.m. and arrived right on time. It took almost 20 minutes just to get to our table, and then another 20 minutes until we got a menu and could choose our drinks and food. We opted for the Chicken Teriyaki Salad and the Shrimp and Chips Deluxe. We were really looking forward to the food, but unfortunately, it never happened. After an hour and a half of still not having any food at our table, we decided to pay for our drinks and simply went to Edeka and bought a 5-minute terrine. At least it was delicious. I don't know what happened that evening, but half the terrace had to wait at least as long—I even waited longer—for their food as we have before. As we learned from the guests at another table, this had apparently happened a few days before. The service was completely overwhelmed. Friendly is a different story.

Our food took a full hour to arrive. After 40 minutes, we asked a waitress to check with the kitchen – she never came back. Only after another 20 minutes, when we approached another waitress, was our food brought to us. By this time, it was only lukewarm. The restaurant was also extremely noisy, and the tables were sticky. For us, the visit was a clear disappointment – neither the service nor the quality warranted a return visit.

The restaurant is located in the Atlantic Hotel. We found the decor and atmosphere rather uninviting. However, the staff was all the more friendly. The menu isn't very extensive, which speaks to the freshness of the ingredients. Despite the limited selection, there's still something for everyone: fish, meat, and vegetarian options. If you're staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out in the evening, this is definitely a good alternative.

I had a business lunch at the Nautilo restaurant in the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel. The ambience is great with the hint of a submarine and the portholes to the hotel. The window front with a direct view of the Trave and the city in the evening is unique. The service is perfect and all special requests regarding the choice of food were implemented. The food was super great. Very cozy and highly recommended to spend a lovely evening here.
