Sunday breakfast brunch with reservation required and a maximum stay of 1 hour and 45 minutes. The service was extremely polite and the buffet offered a large selection - although of a fairly solid standard level. I was missing a particular highlight. The fresh, high-quality rolls and types of bread should be positively highlighted. Overall, however, the concept could use a refresh.

The local citizens are really a joke. Cost 11€ and you get a citizen slapped on it that looks like it comes from McDonald's, only with less sauce. In addition, every time you visit Cafe de Sol and eat there, your stomach goes crazy, so unfortunately we won't be guests there anymore.

We were there with a larger group. The first order went well, but it took a while for the food to arrive. Since it was very crowded, I can still understand that. After the meal, the burger was rather average, the service became very rare. We would have liked to order more drinks, which was difficult. Everything took a long time. The atmosphere was great, you had a lot of time to look at it.

We were there for breakfast and we really enjoyed it. We'll definitely do it again.

Large restaurant with a terrace. Café del Sol is system gastronomy, which means that there are many similar restaurants with the same name all over Germany. The selection of food and drinks is large and the service is very friendly. On weekends you can eat brunch. But you should definitely make a reservation because it is always incredibly full. In the last few years I have visited the Lübeck Café del Sol at different times of the day and with different people or groups. The food and drinks were always delicious and impeccable. Unfortunately, due to the high ceilings, the volume has the character of a train station. Otherwise, full recommendation from me.

Spontaneously ended up here for dinner after work. Sunday 2:30 p.m. There are enough tables to choose from. Nice service, I was able to place my order straight away. Hummus burger 12.50 with fries 2.90 euros. (Plant-based crunchy chik'n, ​​hummus, arugula, red onions, tomatoes, cucumber, burger sauce, sourdough buns). The order came quickly, the fries were delicious, the salad and hummus were fresh. The vegi Petty ok, probably not homemade. The burger could have been a little bigger for the price, but the side dish filled me up well.

As with the other Cafe del Sol restaurants I visited, The waitresses were also very friendly in Lübeck. The food was good and very nicely prepared. Plus it tasted delicious. The waiting time from ordering until the food arrived was very manageable. The prices are completely okay.

The franchisees are known from many cities. Everything is too open for my taste, too high, too noisy and not enough private corners for chatting. Price-performance ratio is ok and if there is nothing better nearby, you can go there.

We have been going to Café del Sol for years and are always very satisfied, some of the waiters have been there for 10 years. This morning we were there again for the breakfast buffet and it was once again very tasty. The staff were very friendly and took photos of the guests at the next table because they had requested it. Now we had finished breakfast and went out to the swings and wanted to take a group photo of ourselves because it was my sister's birthday. Now there was no guest nearby who could take photos of us, so I sweetly asked an employee who was taking a break there at 11:10 a.m. if she could take a quick photo of us... she looked at me arrogantly and just said NO, her break was so short! Crazy, we thought we had misheard... we have never experienced anything like this in all our years at Café del Sol, as all the employees are really very friendly. The photo wouldn't have taken a minute! She sat next to us and watched us try to take a selfie.

Super nice there, in my opinion. The only point of criticism is that despite pre-ordering we (unfortunately) waited 2 hours for our dinner. There was a lot going on there, you can understand if it took a little longer, but it was a bit too long.

Generally a nice location, but it can also be really loud. At times we had to shout at each other. The service was good. What really annoyed me is that I paid 34 euros for a schnitzel with fries, a large drink and a dessert and didn't get full. The food was delicious, I won't deny that at all, but if I order a main course for just under 19 euros, I don't want to be hungry afterwards. Everyone else at the table said that their schnitzel seemed to be really small compared to before. Even the dessert didn't save the whole thing. For a quick stop for a snack and a drink I can recommend Café del Sol, but for a whole dinner I will choose another place.

Were there on a Saturday for the breakfast buffet. Buffet was ok. Drink prices are quite high. But when you greet guests with the question of whether you have made a reservation, they say no because you can't get anyone on the phone for half an hour and you can't make a reservation online. The response from the visibly overwhelmed service staff was "Of course not"... I find it very cheeky!

We ended up in the Café del Sol in Lübeck by chance - while our Tesla was charging at the Supercharger next door. We went in spontaneously, treated ourselves to a delicious dessert and were really pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very attractively designed: large, open and with a modern, cozy flair. The dessert was delicious and the selection on the menu made a very good impression overall. The only small negative point: If the café is full, it can be a bit tiring to have a conversation due to the high volume. But that doesn't detract from the overall impression - it's a great place that you can definitely try out.

I like staying in this cafe chain. Very pleasant atmosphere, this time a delicious soup and in the meantime the Tesla was charged. That's how it should be.

We went here for brunch for the first time today because we were told so many positive things. Unfortunately, we can't agree and wouldn't go for brunch here again. At that price you go to the buffet with a different idea. The ambience is quite nice. However, there are other breakfast buffets where you have a lot more choice and it tastes better there too. What we were missing here were pancakes, small sausages, a children's corner, omelette, fried eggs, crepe and waffle station, small cakes. What wasn't good in terms of taste was that the warm dishes were spicier, scrambled eggs were initially not available, later they were sometimes fried too brown, bacon was unfortunately limp, the small pretzel rolls were much too hard, and the waffles weren't that good in taste either. There was still a normal selection of sausage and cheese, a few desserts, muesli, fruit salad and fruit.

It takes a long time to be served and the staff? One is rude and doesn't pay attention to you so you sit and wait or go. Then the rude one comes and takes the order and the friendly one brings everything. There's no comparison between the two. Was very disappointed today .

We had Sunday brunch. Great ambience and really extensive offerings with relaxed, cheerful service. However, we were not at all satisfied with the rolls - very sticky. Why not just normal, crispy, fresh rolls? And an orange juice for almost €4 out of the bag - nope. A freshly squeezed and good-tasting roll would have brought 5 stars. but all in all a nice start to the day and can be recommended.

I had the pinsa and an ice tea, which were good! The service was however lacking: another guest ordered a salad with bread, which did not include butter. When asking for butter, receiving two small packs but only using one, asking to pay for only one, rendered the comment “I don’t know how you do it where you are from, but that‘s how it works here”. Due to this, no tips were given.

I've been to this beautiful restaurant several times and loved it every time! The atmosphere is great and the many friendly and pretty people make you feel completely comfortable. Particularly noteworthy are the Pinsa and the Cappuccino – both taste simply fantastic! Another plus point: I can easily charge my electric car nearby, which rounds off my visit here perfectly. I will definitely come back - if only because my car will need electricity again at some point!

Schnitzel trip was solid & good, but the service was really very good. Despite the very high occupancy, the service was super friendly and "all you can eat" is really implemented seriously (without delaying tactics or anything similar).

Although it was really busy on our last visit, we only had to wait a very short time for our orders. The waiters were all super friendly and accommodating. The food was good and there was something for everyone. The service wasn't very customer-oriented, we hadn't pre-ordered so we were offered a seat outside, even though there would have been enough space inside. We were a larger group of 10 people, but had to sit separately because tables were not allowed to be put together (according to the waitress), although there was enough space.

It was pretty good, not as good as it used to be, but OK so far. There is absolutely nothing to say against the service, very attentive, quick and polite. The ambience is of course more pedestrian due to the size and the number of people. The noise level accordingly. But you actually know that when you book the breakfast buffet here :) It would be nicer if at least *one* simple hot drink was included in the price (filter coffee, tea, cocoa). The remaining drinks are of course subject to a charge.

The waitress didn't notice us, even though one of us came with a walking aid. The assigned table was not clean and was not cleaned until requested. One of the drinks ordered at the same time was forgotten. The food came quickly and met expectations. There is no gluten-free option, so only salad variations remain. There is a lot of noise under the roof outside, but also inside. There was also a lack of attention from the waitress when it came to paying.

Came for a cup of coffee while waiting for the car to finish charging but with such nice staff and nice place I could have stayed all day! What a gem!

It was okay, but not wow. The table was very sticky, the service was friendly but didn't have an eye for the essentials. The food was okay - just system gastro. I had fries with avocado and chicken breast, unfortunately it was drowned in sauce and three different sauces. If you want the sauces to be delicious, but not on top of each other, please add them to small bowls.

Rather average- After a long time, I went to the brunch buffet at Café del Sol again. I was a bit surprised that it wasn't as crowded as it used to be and well, there may be a reason for that. The selection is extensive. There is something for everyone. From sweets to savory dishes, everything is there. Various cold cuts, salads, meat salad, salmon, Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs… etc. Everything looks very fresh and is constantly checked. So far so positive. Now to the points that, in my opinion, could be improved: The croissants were… well, kind of sticky. They don't even look like they were freshly baked. More like they are thawed and ready. I think it's at least unusual that no drinks are included with brunch. Not even a fruit juice or anything like that. The service worked on this one Sunday a bit overslept and also in a very bad mood. No further requests for drinks were asked and the used plates were not cleared away. That was a shame and I don't normally know it there. All in all, you can go here and for €19 you shouldn't expect any grandiose culinary delights. Hence a good 3 stars

On a Sunday in the summer....9am....26° in the shade.... Somewhere in a European holiday destination. A villa on the beach and the two of us on the outdoor restaurant terrace. The nearby sea rustles quietly, palm trees provide shade,... HOLIDAY! Plus a rich brunch breakfast. Extensive, fresh, attractively prepared and something for everyone. A selection to kneel down on and after almost two hours of complete holiday feeling, we were tempted to start all over again. We found the buffet to be largely home-made with heart and soul and there was nothing - really nothing - that we didn't like. On the contrary: we vegetated on the sofa in the afternoon due to overcrowding. 😄 For us, Cafe des Sol has the best brunch buffet in the entire area. And this for a fair price! The location is charming and well-kept, the team is unobtrusive but omnipresent and always very friendly. The sound of the sea? The palms? It was probably the traffic on the nearby highway. There were no palm trees either. And we didn't have any vacation. But that's exactly what we felt during our visit to the villa! Thanks for that!!!

Nice young attentive staff, I would love to come back

I can only give this one star. I had ordered something and specifically mentioned that my son is highly allergic to peanuts and that they shouldn't be included. The meal ended up containing 3 peanuts. Luckily my son didn't eat any of it, otherwise our trip would have been over. The chef only gave us an apology from the kitchen. Guys, you need to be aware that allergies can really be life-threatening!

We booked the buffet breakfast on Saturday. Ordering online went without any problems. Great selection of a wide variety of baked goods and side dishes. It was just great. We were there once a few years ago and would come again and again.

Unfortunately, the burgers are not that great in terms of taste and are more of a mass production. The bun and the meat are very dry. The same goes for the Pinsa dough, which is also very dry and the topping isn't great either. Price/performance is satisfactory. The price is absolutely not justified. These are not all high-quality products and even if “everything” has become expensive and is becoming even more expensive, there is the possibility of getting the same non-high-quality food at a low retail price. This means that the prices can also be adjusted to the performance without incurring a loss But you get more customer satisfaction. The selection of drinks is standard and the prices are too high. The service is nice, but it doesn't keep up when it's full. But it's not something you have to go back to.

We went to this location for the breakfast buffet for the first time yesterday on Saturday and absolutely loved it. I saw it... From my understanding, the waitress did everything right. Requirements addressed and followed. Up to this point I was happy and agreed. Unfortunately, she overdid it a little. I'm not sure it's always advisable to patronize the customer. However, I'm pretty sure I won't be visiting this place again anytime soon, especially since the quality of certain drinks is much better elsewhere.

2024.06: We came across Café Del Sol because a new Tesla Supercharger was installed there. A sign at the entrance greeted us Tesla drivers warmly and also offered a Café to Go for quick charging. We decided to stay longer. The food was delicious and the prices, like everywhere else, were a bit high. My shrimp aglio e oglio (or however it is spelled) was great in taste, but not as hot and bubbling as you would expect. I also think that whole grain bread doesn't go well with it for dipping. The rest was nothing to complain about. Burger delicious, fries crispy and salad delicious. We'll be back and we'll talk about the shrimp again 😉

Had breakfast in the mornings of the week.. very nice atmosphere and two very nice waitresses, sometimes with a quick saying (apart from the eternal first name...still charmingly packaged) The food was very good and exceeded expectations. Tasty and good. Price-performance ratio increased like everywhere else but was very happy to spend. During our visit there was very little going on and therefore quiet. It will definitely look different when filled.

Yesterday evening we had dinner with you again after a long time with 5 people. And we were ALL really disappointed with the food. Such small portions at such high prices, we remembered it differently. The taste and consistency of the products are no longer the same as they used to be. It may be that this is due to inflation and the driving costs in general in the catering industry, but we will definitely not be eating at your restaurant like this again.
