Cafe Del Sol in Lübeck

We went to this location for the breakfast buffet for the first time yesterday on Saturday and absolutely loved it. Offer, ambience, friendliness are all very consistent and we will definitely come back, we would be happy to drive a few more km. Keep it up and good luck...

Typical diner. You can eat burgers, ribs or even pasta well, there are many variations, including vegetarian ones. Everything is very tasty, the service is attentive and quick. We'd love to come back again.

We were there spontaneously on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. (brunch until 1:00 p.m.) and only then could we order a la cart. Unfortunately very expensive (especially when it comes to the buffet). Drinks are added on top (cup of coffee €3.40) - no information was received about this. There's a lot to choose from, but you don't actually eat the money you spend on it. Cheese stuck together - under a glass dome - you still need a third hand to get it on the plate, scrambled eggs - concrete hard, bacon unfortunately no longer available for the second person. Space for two at the table (bistro - round) was disastrously tight. You don't know where to put all this stuff. Lots of space inside, with a “Cuban” atmosphere, and very loud. Enough parking spaces on site.

We were offered a good place for 2 people and the service was super nice and just as you would imagine when you go out to eat. The food was really good and we will come back. I had a Schnitzel del Sol with fries... The non-alcoholic drinks such as iced tea are served deliciously in a beautiful glass with a straw, taste great...

The food is good, as is the ambience, but unfortunately completely overpriced in our opinion. The portions are also really small, so you're making false savings. I think that's a real shame, I used to enjoy going there. The three of us only had a few small snacks and drinks and paid over €100. This is all relative, of course, but for the price I can eat a good main meal somewhere else and be full. I'm really disappointed.

Wide brunch offering without highlights! We were here on a Sunday and were welcomed very nicely and friendly by the staff. All in a relaxed atmosphere. Reservation strongly recommended. Now I'll just point out the pluses and minuses: + plenty of parking spaces on site + attentive, nice staff + large selection of breakfast products + hot meals + large selection of desserts + Bread and rolls fresh and delicious + replenishment is made quickly - few bread toppings for vegetarians (the selection of cheese here is particularly weak: tasteless Gouda, cream cheese, soft cheese and two types of hummus) here you could have a wider range of slices of cheese, e.g. with smoked cheese, goat cheese, Emmental - something with taste. Sausage, on the other hand, is offered in excessive width). The warm dishes (except scrambled eggs and wedges) were also very meat-heavy. - the desserts in glasses unfortunately taste like mixed finished product. Weird consistency and little taste. Then it's better to leave it out. - many ready-made products “from the bucket” (meat salad, herb cream cheese, butter/margarine/liver sausage in packaged versions). I don't have to go to the restaurant for this. Then it's better to have less but to be outstanding. - The egg salad is apparently homemade. However, since it was liquid (!), it wasn't a choice for me. - the quinoa salad (homemade) was unfortunately also very tasteless. - It is very loud and therefore uncomfortable. Finally, I unfortunately have to say that the brunch was not convincing. The focus here is obviously on a very wide range, but none of them stand out positively. Either a finished product or a homemade but unsuccessful product. However, due to the large crowds, the brunch seems to be well received. Unfortunately, there is no product that sticks with me that makes me say: “Wow, I’ll come back for that.” I would like to see a lot more homemade products here! I can also spread everything else on bread at home.

Worst service we have seen since a long time. Barkeeper is not even able to poor a good German beer. Waitresses chatting but not serving. Beautiful decoration of the restaurant. Too bad if the rest doesn't work. Better off at McDonald's

Due salads completely overpriced. Service somehow intrusive. The toilets too narrow and small. The terrace is great.

The food is quite good, there is something for everyone, and the service is also great, although it is quite loud in the restaurant so you can hardly have a conversation. After almost two hours we were seated at another table because ours had apparently been reserved twice.

Unfortunately, the cafe has fallen into disrepair. The girls and boys are all really friendly but the food isn't as great as it was last year. The Pinsa was very dry and the three desserts we ordered without cream unfortunately all arrived with cream :( The fries were already cold, only the burger was great. There was really little going on for a Sunday evening, but the ladies seemed to be doing something to be overwhelmed. I would like to see more emphasis on quality then the prices would be justified again.

We came here as a group for a schnitzel holiday and were not disappointed. It was very tasty (the vegan schnitzels are also highly recommended) and we all had a good time.

Pedimos pizza y fue un engaño. Un trozo de masa rectangular con una mancha de queso en el centro y cuatro trozos de salami. Eso sí todo tapado con una gran cantidad de rucula. Al protestar cambiaron una de las piezas por un plato de lasaña. Las camareras muy simpáticas.

Prices are far too high for the poor quality of the food. I'd be happy to spend more money, but the quality isn't right either way. No love for the product. 7.90 euros for a small Aperol, with cheap sparkling wine apparently. From the outside the shop is attractive, but inside it's nothing more than a market hall to me, nothing special. It doesn't have much to do with gastronomy, there's a lot more to it.

One star deducted because the starter always comes with the main course and that's really not ideal because the main course gets cold. It's also a shame that the side dishes are missing in the second round of the schnitzel holiday, but the prices have also increased. Service was otherwise attentive and friendly. The taste of the food was also very good.

The Cafe Del Sol in Lübeck offers a solid selection of food and drinks, but the ambience suffers from noise. The background noise is often excessive, which affects relaxation. Service is average, with occasional wait times. Overall an acceptable place, but not necessarily suitable for quiet meetings.

Friday 11:10 a.m. Unfortunately we only wanted to have breakfast until 11 a.m. that ended early. So we had a serano slice and pasta aglio. Unfortunately the portion wasn't particularly large. The pasta was too salty and the cocktail tomatoes (5 halves) were tasteless. The service was nice and attentive and the atmosphere was good.

It's a bit noisy, but very comfortable. The prices on the menu shocked me. So that you don't see a very high sum right away, you pay extra for everything, burgers, fries, even sauces. That does not make it better. The Penne Honey now has a different name, but is meat-free. The original price has therefore increased by several euros. For €4.90 I got 5 small pieces of chicken. You lose some of the enjoyment. The Caesar salad is also without meat, so it shouldn't be called that... But it was delicious, no doubt about it.

You can't go too far wrong at Café Del Sol, especially when there's a schnitzel holiday. But after terribly bad service experiences in the restaurant in Lübeck a few years ago, the service in particular has become really good. The speed of the schnitzel holiday might be a little faster, but otherwise everything was great!

Everyone will find something here. Whether delicious ribs, burgers or schnitzel. Vegan options are also available here. The prices are moderate and the service is first class. The breakfast is also rich and delicious. Highly recommended

The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, unfortunately you often had to speak to the waiters because they didn't seem to pay any attention to you. After a long wait and frequent questions, payment was finally possible. Price performance is very ok.

The Lübeck branch of the Café del Sol franchise restaurant is conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of the Lübeck-Zentrum exit on Autobahn 1. There are sufficient parking spaces available. The decor and ambience in the restaurant are Mediterranean/Mexican style. There is plenty of indoor seating as well as a terrace with additional seating in good weather. Unfortunately, the noise indoors is relatively loud as long as the restaurant is busy. The food (burgers, pizza, pasta, schnitzel, salad, etc.) is not outstanding but is still of good and acceptable quality. Breakfast is also offered. The price-performance level for food and drinks is okay and standard for the industry, but in any case not too high. The service is quick, the employees are friendly and concerned about the well-being of the guest. Short and good: At Café del Sol you can have a decent breakfast, have a delicious lunch snack or spend a nice evening with friends or family.

We were able to enjoy a very tasty and beautifully presented breakfast buffet in this beautiful café/restaurant. Everything your heart could desire was there! The Café Crema was so delicious. Two small, strikingly identically shaped schnitzels arrived. Both four times dark fried and dry. When I let the food go back, the waitress admitted that it was frozen food. Unprofessional reception staff, although more than 70% of the tables were free and not marked as "reserved", we were only offered a table in a dark, narrow corner. We asked for another table and the (nice) employee said everything was reserved. !!!! Customer service is different, you have to learn that first.

Had dinner again after a long time and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the staff was extremely committed. Only the atmosphere is a bit restless due to the noise. I also particularly enjoyed the homemade iced tea!

We were there with 10 people and the service staff was pretty overwhelmed but then asked every few minutes if we could have anything else. We had almost all the burgers. The patties were ready, patties that were very well cooked and in some cases the sauce was completely missing from the burger all in all a lot of money for a middle class grill snack bar of quality, it's a shame but it's easy to make a good burger

Heute zum Brunch da gewesen . Alles super. Es wurde immer nach gereicht . Einziges Manko das 2 Std Tischreservierung etwas kurz ist . Kann man aber im Voraus telefonisch verlängern. Unbedingt vorab Tisch reservieren. Am besten telefonisch. Immer wieder gerne 🤘🤗

Eigentlich ist es toll dort. Freundliches Personal, schnelle Bedienung, das Ambiente stimmt, die Preise sind angemessen. Aber: Thema Buffet. Der Lachs schmeckte fast nach nichts. Sollte mit Meerrettich sein, der fehlte völlig. Da, wo es Mett mit Zwiebeln geben sollte, gab es Fleischsalat und in einem extra Schälchen Zwiebeln. Der angebotene Käse war auch fast ohne Geschmack, fies fade. Auch andere Freunde aus unserer Gruppe waren der Meinung, dass der Aufschnitt viel zu labberig und fade schmeckte. Die Vielfalt des Angebotes war gut. Fazit: es fehlt an Pepp beim Aufschnitt, zu wenig Geschmack. Das können Mitbewerber besser.

Tolles Ambiente und leckeres Essen. Es gibt immer mal Angebote wie z.B. momentan Burger satt von Montag bis Donnerstag ab 15uhr und eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke. Preislich top !

Wir waren diese Woche zum Burger essen dort, erstmal vorab, tollet Service, wir wurden stets gut bedient von der netten Dame! Jedoch könnten uns die Burger in keinster Weise überzeugen, das Fleisch war leider sehr fettig und hat somit nicht wirklich geschmeckt, der Bacon nicht gebraten oder so etwas in der Art und das Chicken auf dem Burger war leider etwas trocken. Dazu angemerkt, aus meiner Sicht gehört eine Salatgurke auf keinen Burger. Die Pommes waren ganz in Ordnung. Ich denke das könnt ihr deutlich besser! Mit freundlichen Grüßen Louis Michael

Toller Service, lange kein so tolles Team erlebt. Essen war super. Nur die Geräuschkulisse ist sehr laut.

Super freundliches Personal empfängt einen und führt einen zum Tisch. Es wird kompetent und geduldig beraten und die Bestellung aufgenommen. Auch wenn man nicht Essen möchte, für ein paar Drinks immer eine gute Wahl. Obwohl sehr großräumig, doch gemütlich.

Leider bekamen wir bei dem letzten Frühstücksbuffet sehr schlimme Magen Probleme. Mit starken Schmerzen und Erbrechen. Nach Kontaktaufnahme kam gar kein Feedback! Es wurde nicht geantwortet und auch nicht versucht herauszufinden welches Produkt nicht mehr in Ordnung war, wahrscheinlich wurde es am nächsten Tag wieder serviert. Sehr traurig wie wenig sich darum gekümmert wurde

Ich finde es sehr schade, dass man den Feta Bürger nur noch mit Brioche Brötchen bekommt! Daher auch nur 3 Sterne! Da es leider nicht mein Geschmack ist! Service, wie immer sehr nett!

Wir haben Silvester im Café de Sol Lübeck gefeiert. Vielen Dank an das super Service Team. Das Buffet war sehr abwechslungsreich. Alles wurde schnell nachgelegt. Einziger minimaler Minuspunkt: das Fleisch war nicht warm. Für Vegetarier gab es eine große Auswahl. Sowohl Rohkost als auch gekochte Gerichte war ausreichend vorhanden. Die Getränke kamen schnell und die Auswahl war mehr als ausreichend. Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht schnell zu sein.

Super Service, sehr freundlich, unterhaltsam und Hilfsbereit. 👍 Essen war eine ausreichende Menge, welche gut gesättigt hat. Zudem bei 8 Leute war jedes Gericht warm und zeitgleich am Tisch angekommen. 💪 Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei. 🚗

Wir haben dort unsere Firmenweihnachtsfeier gefeiert und waren über den Gesamtbetrag für 7 Personen positiv überrrascht. Wir haben alle Hauptgang und Dessert gegessen und auch bei der Bestellung der Getränke sind wir nicht sparsam gewesen. Das Servicepersonal ist super freundlich und passt super in den Laden. Allerdings hat sich die Bestellung des Desserts ein wenig kompliziert gestaltet, da wir alle gerne Eis gegessen hätten, aber leider war Schoko, Erdbeer und Vanilleeis nicht vorhanden, deshalb auch der Punktabzug.

Das Essen bzw der Brunch war sehr lecker und große Auswahl. Optisch ist es dort auch sehr schön nur die Lautstärke wenn es mehrere Gäste sind ist es unangenehm und laut wie in einer Bahnhofshalle.

Es war sehr laut und wir mussten sehr lange (über 1 Stunde) auf das Essen warten. Der Kellner hat sich zwar entschuldigt aber die Rechnung nicht wie gewünscht aufgeteilt. Nach langer Wartezeit waren wir froh, dass wir raus konnten. Chilli Cheese Pommes waren super, Burger waren gut Schnitzel war ok.

Der Brunch war wirklich toll und lecker. 2 Sterne Abzug für die völlig überteuerten Getränkepreise, die zum Brunch ja noch dazu kommen. 5,70 Euro für eine Apfelschorle ist schon Abzocke. Sogar das frisch gezapfte Fassbier war billiger. Mal gucken, ob wir wieder kommen. Ihr solltet lieber 5 Euro mehr für den Brunch nehmen und Säfte und Kaffee hinstellen.

Personal ist wie immer sehr nett & zuvorkommend. Ich bin allerdings sehr enttäuscht von der neuen Größe der Portionen + stark angehobenen Preise.

McDonalds auf Schnitzel. Grosse Location mit Convienience-Food in lauter Umgebung. Ist halt Franchise - da darf man keine Wunder erwarten. Das Schnitzel war etwas drüber (recht dunkel), dafür waren die Fritten recht gut. Preislich eher grenzwertig - für den Tarif bekomme ich anderswo schon ein "handgeklopftes", "handpaniertes" und deutlich grösseres in etwas biederer Umgebung - teilweise auch aus Hofhaltung. Sternla und Mahrs in Bamberg zeigen wie es geht.

Supernette, freundliche und sehr schnelle Bedienung mit profunden Italienischkenntnissen drei Espressi👍Essen war frisch und heiß. Allerdings ohne kulinarischen Höhepunkt. Sauce leider über dem crossen Schnitzel (dann brauche ich keine Panade) Curryrahmesuppe war mit Einlage und soweit ok.

Sehr laut, wartehalle, wenn auch optisch interessant. Sehr fleißiges Personal und freundlich. Essen lecker.

Was war das denn bitte ? Haben den 80. Birthday meiner Mum dort gefeiert. Erstes positives Ding, es ist beim „Du“. Dann die unfassbar netten Angestellten, die uns schnell mit Essen und Trinken versorgt haben. Seid Ihr alle lieb, irre ! Preislich im absolut unteren Segment angesiedelt, bei dem Service und so. Respekt und Kompliment. Wenn ich wieder in Lübeck bin, denn ist das meine erste Adresse. Klasse! Absolute Empfehlung mit mehr als 5 Sternen!

Wir waren zum Sonntagsbrunch am 1. Advent. Leider wurden die Speisen nicht nachgefüllt, das habe im Café del Sol so noch nicht erlebt. Wir waren schon sehr enttäuscht. Der Service war wie immer super, ging alles immer sehr schnell, wirklich klasse. Ambiente naja für den 1. Advent sehr dürftig.
