Cafe Del Sol in Lübeck

Sehr idyllischer Ort mit einer stilvollen Einrichtung – sowohl innen als auch außen lädt das Café zum Verweilen ein. Ich war bereits mehrfach in verschiedenen Café del Sol Restaurants, unter anderem in Bremen, Hamburg, Flensburg und natürlich Lübeck. Besonders die Currywurst mit Pommes kann ich empfehlen, und die Samba-Hollandaise ist für mich jedes Mal das Highlight. Die Servicekräfte sind stets freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Essen wird meistens sehr schnell serviert. Insgesamt komme ich immer wieder gerne hierher.

Wunderschön geführtes und dekoriertes Lokal, sehr leckeres Essen und guter Service. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Das Café ist echt super, Bedienung Klasse und zuvorkommend. Es wird gerade umgebaut, mal schauen wie das Ambiente nach der Eröffnung im Juli ist.

Bestes Frühstücksbuffet, peinliches a la Carte essen. Schnitzel Hawai mit kleinen convinience Fertigschnitzeln und das und 3 Stückchen Annanas pro Schnitzelchen für 20,90. Sehr schade...😔 ... das bekomme ich auch in einer Kantine.

Unterirdisch schlechtes Essen, lieblos angerichtet. TK Ware von billigster Qualität. Nie wieder....

Auf der Website steht nicht das es an sonn-Feiertagen nur Brunch gibt! Es war viel zu warm und wir mussten viel zu lange warten!Unverschämt!!!

Das Schnitzel war akzeptabel und war auf dem Niveo von einem TK-Schnitzel mit einer Fertigsauce. Preis/Leistung beim Schnitzel leider katastrophal. Die Currywurst war geschmacklich okay und Preis/Leistung auch okay. Die Salate waren wirklich gut angemacht. Service war auch nicht so gut. Trotz mäßig besuchtem Restaurant mussten wir irgendwann auf uns aufmerksam machen, damit mal jemand die Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Das Ambiente ist wirklich nett und es war sehr sauber im Innenbereich und draußen.

Wir lieben es dort immer mal wieder als Familie einzukehren. Alles schmeckt super und es muss IMMER zum Abschluss ein Lavakuchen mit dabei sein.....den liebe ich ❤️

Sehr freundliches Personal. Auch unsere Hündin war willkommen. Am Eingang steht sogar Wasser und Futter bereit. Das Frühstück war sehr empfehlenswert. Wenn viel los ist, ist es etwas lauter. Bei gutem Wetter kann man aber auch draußen sitzen.

Warum muss man alles neu machen Pizza weg pinza völlig überteuert und so einiges echt schade war echt gerne immer da ..aber so nee ...

Das Restaurant hat eine wirklich besondere Atmosphäre – man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf direkte und sehr bestimmte Kommunikation mit den Gästen gelegt wird. Besonders spannend fand ich den Moment beim Bezahlen, wo man sich beim Trinkgeldgeben definitiv nicht allein gelassen fühlt und einem die Entscheidung mit entsprechendem Nachdruck erleichtert wird. Auch kulinarisch war der Besuch interessant: Die Speisen wirkten eher schlicht und geschmacklich sehr zurückhaltend, sodass sie vermutlich vor allem Menschen ansprechen, die keine großen Erwartungen an Würzung oder Frische haben. Der Service blieb währenddessen angenehm distanziert und effizient – persönliche Freundlichkeit oder Aufmerksamkeit standen eher nicht im Mittelpunkt. Insgesamt also ein Erlebnis, das sicher nicht jeder so schnell vergisst.

Soweit okay, wer Systemgastro mag wird es wohl auch besser bewerten.

Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist wirklich super, hier findet jeder etwas Passendes! 😋 Und das Beste: Es gibt keine Parkplatzprobleme. 🚗 Ich komme gerne wieder! ✨

Preis/Leistung unterirdisch. Bereue total mich nicht vor Ort geäußert zu haben. So ein totgebratenes Pattie hatte ich im Leben nicht. Wäre der Burger nicht in Käsesauce ertränkt, hätte man beim Essen husten müssen vor Trockenheit. Wie Kaugummi, wird im Mund immer mehr. Da das Kauen extrem lange dauert, sind dann die zu fettigen Pommes kalt. Einen Salat mit (kalten) Putenstreifen so teuer zu verkaufen ist frech. Wurde nicht die Gastrosteuer gesenkt? Alles in Allem: Schlechter Burger mit kalten Pommes und ein liebloser Salat mit lauwarmen, zähen Putenstreifen incl. einer Fassbrause und einem Bier für über 40 Euro? Frechheit. Nie wieder. Für die Hälfte nicht! Positiv war das Ambiente und die äußert freundliche Servicekraft.

Es ist schon ein besonderer Ort. Ein dem spanischen Flair angepasstes Ambiente. Ein großzügiger Raum, verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten im Raum. Das ist ansprechend. Zum Brunch am Sonntag Vormuttag war es hier sehr voll und deshalb auch sehr viele Unterhaltungen, die es sehr unruhig machte. Das Buffet ist solide, gut präsentiert und wird immer wieder nachgefüllt. Für einen Brunch war es mir nicht vielfältig genug. Es gab nur vier Stationen mit warmen Essen, der überwältigende Anteil betraf Brotbeläge wir Käse, Wurst, Marmeladen und so. Wie das Essen a la Carte schmeckt, kann ich nicht sagen.

Leider sehr laut, wenn es voll ist. Ansonsten ein schöner Laden mit Außenplätzen.

Schade, nur wenige Minuten nach 11 Uhr gab es kein Frühstück mehr. Was wäre wohl passiert, wenn wir 10 Minuten früher dort angekommen wären.

Sehr tolle Location. Das Essen ist lecker, die Preise ganz gut. Um Abends mit Freunden Zeit zu verbringen, ist das Café del Sol sehr einladend. Das Personal war wie immer freundlich, obwohl es ziemlich voll war. Ich gehe gerne dort hin.

Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, Frühstück leider nicht frisch, besonders das Gemüse war teilweise matschig,teilweise trocken. Insgesamt wirkt es dort etwas trostlos.

Wir hatten alle das Schnitzel-All-you-can-eat-Angebot und es war gut. Das erste Schnitzel mit scharfer Hollandaise-Sauce war echt lecker! Super! Das zweite hat leider 20 Minuten gedauert, bis es kam, und das war ziemlich enttäuschend. Ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal hingehen, um zu sehen, ob ich mit dem zweiten einfach nur Pech hatte.

Sehr freundliches Personal und die Haus-Limonade ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Ich habe mir Sparerips mit Süßkartoffeln und Colslawe außer Haus gekauft. Sparerips waren nicht besser als wenn ich sie selbst vom Disconter gemacht hätte. Colslawe, winzige Portion und nicht mit einer Marinade angemacht. Süßkartoffeln haben geschmeckt, sind aber auch TK und hätte ich mir zu Hause auch so machen können. Für den Preis von 24,60€ enttäuschend. Werde mir in diesem Lokal nichts mehr außer Haus bestellen. Ergänzug: Dankenswerterweise wurde mir angeboten Kontakt aufzunehmen und dafür Kontaktadressen preiszugeben. Ich möchte darauf verzichten weil ich befürchte dadurch mit Newslettern oder ähnlichen Angeboten " bombadiert" zu werden. Nehmen Sie meine Kritik/Wahrnehmung meines Erlebens einfach an, es gibt ja genug Kunden die anschezufrieden mit ihrer Qualität sind.

Ich war heute das erste Mal dort (leider…) und bin super zufrieden! Wir hatten den Schnitzelurlaub und alle Schnitzel waren mega lecker, die Pommes sind der Hammer und auch die Hausgemachten Eisteesorten sind sehr zu empfehlen! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, das super freundlich Personal!!! Man merkt wirklich, dass die Menschen Spaß an ihrem Job haben!!! Behandelt eure Mitarbeiter weiterhin gut und seid Stolz auf sie!!! Wir waren zum Brunch da und ich war total begeistert über die Vielseitigkeit des Buffets. Ich bin mehr als satt geworden. Auch das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und war auch immer da, wenn mal das Getränk zur Neige ging. Das Ambiente geht, ist vielleicht etwas laut, da der Raum recht groß ist. Aber wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Wir waren zum Schnitzelurlaub hier und wir können sagen es war super, sehr lecker mir einem super Service. Wir haben alle Schitzel probiert und die waren lecker.

Schönes Ambiente und tolles Frühstücksbuffet Schnitzel Urlaub ist zu empfehlen. Aber die Lautstärke im Gastraum ist einfach ganz schlimm man kann kaum sein eigenes Wort verstehen.

Nach freundlicher Nachfrage auch noch um 11:45 Uhr Frühstück bekommen. War lecker und Preis geht in Ordnung.

Wir haben Essen zum Abholen bestellt und die Erfahrung war schauerlich!! Drei Schnitzel del Sol, alle kaum gar, geschweige denn heiß. Die Pommes Frites waren wohl mehrfach in der Fritteuse gelandet und waren fettig ohne Ende. Also ehrlich, wie kann man so etwas an den Kunden herausgeben? Da ist mehr als eine Entschuldigung fällig!

Solides Frühstück, aber leider sehr durchschnittlich Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung, wenn man keine großen Ansprüche stellt. Die Auswahl wirkt allerdings recht billig zusammengestellt: Orangene Eier aus Bodenhaltung, mehrere Sorten Mett aus der Supermarktpackung (vermutlich von ALDI) und generell wenig, das irgendwie besonders oder hochwertig wäre. Das Ambiente ist okay, die Bedienung freundlich und bemüht – das rettet den Gesamteindruck ein Stück weit. Wer einfach nur schnell und günstig frühstücken möchte, wird hier vielleicht zufrieden sein. Wer hingegen Wert auf Qualität oder außergewöhnliche Speisen legt, sollte sich lieber nach einer anderen Adresse umsehen.

Wir waren heute im Café del Sol und leider sehr enttäuscht vom Service. Die Kellner wirkten deutlich genervt, waren unfreundlich im Ton und wenig aufmerksam. Man hatte eher das Gefühl zu stören, statt willkommen zu sein. Das Ambiente ist eigentlich schön, aber der schlechte Service hat den Besuch komplett überschattet. Schade – wir hatten uns mehr erhofft und werden so schnell nicht wiederkommen.

Nach langer Zeit waren wir heute wieder zwischen 17–18 Uhr dort, um einen gemütlichen Abend mit der Familie zu verbringen. Wir haben am Schnitzelurlaub teilgenommen. Unsere Kinder (9 und 6 Jahre) hatten Pizza und Burger bestellt, wir Erwachsenen jeweils ein Schnitzelgericht. Zusätzlich haben wir alle noch einen Eistee Himbeer-Granatapfel für je 6,70 € bestellt – wir wollten also ganz sicher nicht „sparen“, sondern einfach einen schönen Abend genießen. Leider war der Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Unsere Kinder durften nicht einmal von unserem Essen probieren. Zwei Kellnerinnen kamen nacheinander zu uns und sagten laut im Restaurant, dass wir nicht teilen sollen. Das war uns sehr unangenehm. Danach hatten wir das Gefühl, ständig beobachtet zu werden. Selbst bei Pommes und Soßen sollten die Kinder die Finger weglassen. Wir waren früher öfter hier und hatten nie solche Erfahrungen. Dieses Mal empfanden wir den Umgang als sehr unfreundlich und unflexibel. So stellt man sich keinen entspannten Familienabend vor. Für uns leider nicht noch einmal – es gibt deutlich gastfreundlichere Restaurants

Unfortunately, our brunch experience there was very disappointing. Despite repeated requests, the hot food wasn't replenished, and the staff responded very rudely. We weren't able to use the entire buffet during our visit, which I find outrageous considering the price.

That was by far the worst tarte flambée imaginable. Instead of a thin dough, they used stale bread, about as thick as a ciabatta. There was hardly any topping, and my colleague's cheeseburger had gristle in it, and the meat was of the lowest quality. And to charge €14.20 for that tarte flambée is outrageous.

My husband and I were there today, and I have to say, I was disappointed this time. The ambiance was okay, but extremely loud; it was almost impossible to have a conversation. Almost all the staff were nice and accommodating, but unfortunately, one woman was rather unfriendly, which dampened the mood a bit. The food was good, but the BBQ burger was missing bacon—there was so little of it that it was practically unnoticeable. The cocktails and mocktails need some work. The Caipirinha tasted only of alcohol; the rest of the drinks were completely overpowering, and the price was outrageous. I think the "Safer Sex on the Beach" was completely pre-made, because it was incredibly sweet, as if they'd just poured syrup on it, and the price was outrageous for that. But the lady at the bar added some water, which at least made it drinkable. ... And I hope that the tip that one lady received, which she was supposed to give to another lady, actually reached the lady with the braided hair, because she and the waiter who served us did a really good job. They were both very kind and friendly.

There were 1.5 of us. The food? It was definitely good. Nothing special. Many people have already mentioned that it's frozen food, but it was very tasty. The atmosphere? It was great. My little one loved everything and especially enjoyed the clock. The staff? I've never experienced anything like it. Absolutely top-notch, and they even included our little one in everything. When we left, he really wanted to stay! We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work.

Too big and therefore far too loud. You can only hear the bass from the background music. The staff is overwhelmed. There was rattling everywhere, probably from overwork. The food is unfortunately just low-quality frozen stuff. The burgers are bone dry. Reminds me of McDonald's. Not worth another visit. Sorry!

We went there for breakfast brunch. The scrambled egg options were just plain scrambled eggs, and the salad selection was also limited. All in all, a very standard breakfast, the kind you'd find in any decent hotel. Having to pay extra for coffee and juice at breakfast is, in my opinion, outrageous. All in all, too expensive for what was offered. We've had better breakfasts for less money.

Simply overpriced but well-attended. For food, it's better to buy something to eat at a discount supermarket.

First, the positives: The ambiance was okay, and the staff were attentive and friendly. However: The size and quality of the schnitzel, ordered as part of a meal deal (not a schnitzel holiday), is unfortunately a joke. Typical frozen product and not worth the money. The burger size is okay, but the patty is frozen and of below-average quality. A thick, chewy mass, no discernible meat texture, and the taste is more like "fast food." The BBQ burger didn't deliver any BBQ experience. A meager strip of bacon, and the BBQ sauce was lost in way too much arugula. The pinsa gets smaller every year. I initially thought I'd been served half a portion. Thick crust, meant to be filling. The topping was okay, but nothing special. The fries were unsalted, tasteless, and not crispy. It was definitely better years ago, but this visit won't be bringing us back.

Everything is perfect here. I'd love to come back again.

We came here for a "schnitzel holiday" 🤩 The selection and quality matched the price-performance ratio. With an all-you-can-eat meal for €20, you don't get a premium schnitzel, but it was still delicious. The service was consistently friendly and funny. It was really fun, thanks for a lovely evening.

It's difficult to give a fair review. My friends and I have been meeting at Café del Sol Lübeck every 4-6 weeks for years. We've experienced everything from "VIP service" to 2-hour waits. The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The food is good, and so far, all our special requests have been accommodated. Depending on the time of year, it can be quite noisy, and we're always happy when it gets a bit quieter in the last two hours. The women's restrooms are practically unusable after 10 p.m. They're dirty, and there's hardly any toilet paper left. However, I also believe that if you use someone else's restroom, you should leave it as you would like to find it at home!

Very friendly service staff, but the atmosphere isn't cozy. It's nice, but it's terribly loud; you can barely hold a conversation. It's not the music, but the acoustics of the room. It's like a train station concourse. The food is so-so. We tried the Schnitzelurlaub (Steak Holiday) and 2 out of 4 received lukewarm dishes. They chose the Hawaiian version, which wasn't so tasty when the melted cheese was then brought to the table, clinging to the meat like a cold shoe sole. The other versions were served at a decent temperature, but the number of fries on the side was too small, and they weren't hot or crispy. Yes, you can reorder, but the waiters are so busy and it's so loud, you can't get attention and have to go to the counter yourself (where you get friendly help, though). I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, but that's not the fault of the staff, but rather the uncomfortable atmosphere and the unexceptional food.

I was there on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It was very loud, making conversation difficult. It was also very dark. The menu was difficult to read. I found it very cold there, so I warmed myself up in the car on the way home with the heating turned up full. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My burger was delicious.

As you can see, it's not overly busy. However, it's a completely different story at brunch. The service is very attentive.

Very large store! It's a chain, and the food is mostly convenience food, but it tastes pretty good. The drinks selection is huge, so there's something for everyone. Suitable for spontaneous meetings, an easily accessible location, and large groups.

An absolutely fantastic experience at Café Dr. Sol in Lübeck! The atmosphere is cozy, the coffee excellent – ​​but what really made our visit special was Luca! He was by far the best waiter you could wish for. Friendly, attentive, and simply passionate about his work. He really did everything he could to make us feel completely at home – and he succeeded 100%. Thank you for the great service, Luca! Hi, I was there on August 29th at around 10:10 PM. Unfortunately, this time I was "welcomed" in a very strange and disrespectful manner. The employee there told my colleagues and me right at the beginning that we should accept the greeting upon entering the restaurant, which we naturally did and greeted back as is proper. When I responded to this, the employee suggested that this wasn't true, and the third and final time I accepted the greeting and greeted back, she didn't believe it, so I left the restaurant because of this rude behavior towards my friends and myself. As a Lübeck resident, I have very much enjoyed visiting this restaurant many times and have always treated everyone with respect, as is natural, as I come from the restaurant industry myself. However, I don't think it's good for a business to be greeted with such an unpleasant attitude as soon as I enter the restaurant. I hope these employees take my feedback to heart and improve. Have a nice day and unfortunately the LAST time.
