Oderquelle in Berlin

It was relatively quiet on a Saturday. Service was very good food was slight disappointment for the price. We hoped to get schnitzel but it wasn’t in the menu. Overall good experience.

Super nice and cozy. Still maintained. The waitress in particular is a gem! We had a great evening after a tiring walk through the Mauerpark market.

Home-style cooking that is delicious on the plate. Service is Berlin-fresh, cheeky and very friendly.

Food and drinks very tasty. Price-wise, completely okay. It was just very loud for me, but it was also very crowded.

Price/performance ratio is a joke. For the hefty prices there is no delivery and unfortunately it only tastes okay. As a vegetarian it was very dissatisfying.

There were six of us and we had a nice cross-section of what was on offer, from roast pork to leg of goose, pike perch and duck, and we all enjoyed it very much. The wine was delicious, the beer was fresh from the tap and the bill was more than justified. Thank you.

You serve me a €16 schnitzel in berlin, that looks like a map of Italy, and a French sauvignon blanc that tastes like it's been stored in a molasses barrel, we got issues. Add some very poor bratkartoffeln, and shxts about to get messy. The service is good and quick. So you can leave and start forgetting

Very cozy german restaurant, super great atmosphere if you’re coming in from the cold. The waiter was super nice (and funny) and the food was delicious! It is a bit on the pricier side, but it makes sense for the location, so great if you’re looking for a casual traditional german lunch

Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff (the colleague in particular found a solution for us despite the house being fully booked). Berliner Molle is a real recommendation, the food was good and tasty. Gladly again, even longer.

Ich finde es immer wieder lecker! Bodenständig und gemütlich - guter Service, gute Weine. Was will man mehr. Ganz günstig ist es nicht - aber Qualität kostet eben. Wenigstens einmal im Jahr (zu Gans oder Ente) muss es einfach sein!

Saturday 11/3/24 around 7 p.m. We two married couples would like a table. Nice waitress almost takes us there. When she asked what we wanted, we: something to quench our thirst and eat a little something. Nice waitress froze! She has to ask. Asked the arrogant wannabe who didn't need our money and answered the question with no. We left the pint, which wasn't even half full. No matter. At the Italian restaurant around the corner we were hospitably welcomed and served, were able to quench our thirst and munch on tasty snacks. 140€ including a 20€ tip later on the way to the hotel we passed the dry Oder spring again, the same guests were sitting at their tables as two hours ago.

Friendly staff. Their English is great and the menu is also in German and English. Food was very good. Nice crispy schnitzel. Authentic.

I had the Marinierter Schweinebauch, and although it felt salty, it was delicious and goes well with beer.

Il ristorante si trova in una zona vivacissima ma non caotica, piena di locali carini ed accoglienti: Oderquelle è uno di questi. Abbiamo iniziato con una tarte flambée, poi la classica cotoletta impanata con patate e cetrioli ed infine strudel di mele con gelato alla vaniglia e caffè: tutto eccellente. La cantina è ben fornita, ma noi abbiamo scelto “alla tedesca” con birra a volontà. Il personale è gentile e competente: di noi si è occupata Cristina, sempre sorridente e disponibile a spiegarci gli ingredienti delle portate. Complimenti! Da raccomandare agli amici!

The service was very quick and extremely friendly. As a starter I had Hankäs with music and then the Spagel with Black Forest ham. Both tasted really good. Can only recommend the Oderquelle.

Super smaak in de divers bestelde gerechten. Was druk, ondanks dat niet lang gewacht. Zeker een aanrader. Flamkuchen voor de kids ook zeker de moeite waard

Negative experience. Overrated restaurant and prices too high for what it offers. The menu is not the one found on the internet, very limited in choice. A Schnitzler paid a whopping €27.50 and the flavor of the meat was too strong, not to mention the side dishes! Rejected.

The service is unfriendly, why you do the job when you obviously hate it remains a mystery to me..storage room at Rewe or something like that might be better, without any people at all..I live nearby, but never again..I praise myself Shoemaker boys in Eberswalderstr.

Today we also had to experience the unfriendly staff. We sat outside and changed tables right at the beginning because a spot in the shade became available and it was pretty hot in the sun. The waitress came to us quite angry and told us that we probably enjoyed sitting at dirty tables. We were so shocked and didn't even know what to say. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, she left and punished us with ignorance. So we didn't order any food. It's a shame that people are treated so disrespectfully. Maybe the person will take it to heart.

Traditional German restaurant with a down-to-earth menu and freshly tapped beer.

I ended up going here two evenings in a row! The food was delicious! I was told it was traditional by my German friend who was there. Also, the staff were super fun! I enjoyed the playful their playful banter! If I’m in Berlin again, I’ll be here again!

Unfortunately, the super nice and attentive service couldn't make up for the appearance of the arrogant, very self-confident gentleman (obviously the boss), who was of the opinion that with 5 people, not only 2 people should be allowed to order food. It is a restaurant and not a regulars' bar. We have never experienced this anywhere before. We were there for the first and last time!

Great food. We had polenta rolls, pork in dark beer sauce, potato soup and apple strudel. Everything was great, staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend if you want to try local, good quality food. The interior is super interesting.

Schönes Lokal, was sich im Prenzlauer Berg unterscheidet, neben vielen Aisia etc. Restaurants. Drei Gerichte erfüllten leider nicht die Erwartungen in Sachen geschmacklich, Preis Leistung und waren leider nicht über Kantinen Niveau. Ich denke, ein Gulasch ist einfache und solides Küchenhandwerk, leider war das von schlechter Qualität, Fleisch zäh und fettig, Rotkohl vermutlich aus der Konserve, Sauce minimal aufgewärmt. In Summe ein enttäuschendes Abendessen!

I was in the Oderquelle on a very lively December evening, spontaneously got a table for dinner alone and was served very friendly and personable. The food was great, overall a perfect visit!

We came here for a traditional meal on the last night of our honeymoon as we wanted something suitable for a vegan and a meat eater. What a fantastic place! The vegan pretzel dumplings with mushrooms are superb; a truly unique meal I will be dreaming about for a long time. My husband's pork and potato went down a treat. The staff were superb, the location was easy to find and the ambience was perfect for a cosy Sunday evening meal.

Im vorbeischlendern mit 7 Personen um ca 21 Uhr noch leckers Essen bekommen. Kleine Speisekarte, aber für alle was dabei und alles sehr gut.

Echt gemütlich, das Personal durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Essen war wirklich SEHR GUT. Die Speicherkarte ist etwas übersichtlich, aber jeder von uns war mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden! Meine Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Sollte ich mal wieder in der Nähe sein, würde ich hier gerne wieder Gast sein.

Top top top! Wir sind leider ohne Reservierung hereingekommen, aber wer nett fragt, dem wird geholfen 😉 Super zuvorkommender Service! Einfach Klasse!

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes deutsches Restaurant. Hier gibt es noch gutbürgerliche Küche. Dazu ein wunderschön uriges Ambiente und nettes und fleißiges Personal.

Leider enttäuschend. Bedienung freundlich. Zum gemütlich etwas Trinken zu empfehlen. Der Salat hat schon mal frischere Zeiten gehabt und er sah etwas lieblos aus. Flammkuchen hat geschmacklich enttäuscht. Er war mit viel Käse und reichlich weißen Zwiebeln belegt. Als Flammkuchen sollte man das nicht bezeichnen und ein Hinweis auf der Karte, dass es mit Käse ist, wäre wünschenswert. Spinat-Quiche war okay.

Unfriendly, rude staff. They told us that all table are reserved. I asked them to put us on wait list which they didn’t. I asked how it works then to which they just said ‘all tables are reserved’. And in front of us they gave a table to a German speaking group who also didn’t have any reservation (we know this coz my wife understands German). There are many other better options on the same street.

독일에서 먹었던 수 많은 슈니첼 중에 제일 맛있었던 슈니첼이다. 기름지지도 않고, 튀김옷과 고기가 분리되지도 않고, 잡내도 안나고:D 다만, 소스가 없다는 점이 굉장히 아쉬웠다. 미니 샐러드도 야채가 굉장히 신선하고 맛있었다:) 그리고 맥주가 조금 싱거웠던 점이 아쉬웠다. vom Fass를 주문했음에도 불구하고...
