Seit gut 30 Jahren eine sichere Bank, die Küche beständig gut, der Ort einzigartig und immer freundliche Menschen, wo hat man das in Berlin schon?!

Weihnachten da essen gewesen. Umgebung rustikal gemütlich, Essen ausgezeichnet (Hirschkeule) und der Service super warmherzig mit Berliner Charme. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und kommen jetzt öfters.

The Oderquelle is simply a fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. A restaurant where you can feel completely at ease. And it has been for a long time, and hopefully will continue to be for many years to come :)

A lovely restaurant with incredibly friendly service! We always feel very comfortable here. However, the prices are quite high (41 euros for the goose, 7 euros for olives as a starter). We'll gladly return for special occasions. Definitely make a reservation in advance!

Amazing food and atmosphere, would def come back again.

Visiting for a week Berlin, we came twice to Oderquelle. The first time by chance, appealed by the tasty traditional dishes, the warm decor and ambiance. We were so pleased with the elegant and friendly service, we came back for a second experience equally pleasant. We are very grateful for such heart-warming times we had at Oderquelle. We highly recommend this restaurant and suggest you reserve to ensure a spot, all the more on week-end nights. Again heart-felt congratulations to the entire Oderquelle team!

A very nice restaurant with good, solid food. German cuisine, nicely presented. Prices are reasonable too. No organic quality, but you wouldn't expect that at these prices.

Delicious schnitzel and friendly staff

The ambiance is inviting and cozy. We received a very friendly welcome from the staff and immediately felt at home. The selection is limited but completely sufficient. There's something for everyone. We enjoyed the food very much. We had meatballs and salmon. The staff responded immediately to small requests, and the ladies were very attentive and always unobtrusively present. Definitely recommended.

We went there on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch, too. The waitress always had a cheeky joke ready. We'd love to come back :)

The restaurant is conveniently located, but I cannot recommend it. While the food was tasty, it seemed to be reheated in a microwave, which really diminished the overall experience. Additionally, we were surprised to see the staff turn away over 50 people after 2:00 PM—even on a Sunday—because the kitchen closes at that time. If you plan to visit, avoid coming after 2:00 PM. The service was not particularly friendly. I’ve been living in Berlin for two years, and when our visitors wanted to try German cuisine, we were hoping for freshly prepared meals. There are many other restaurants in the city that offer authentic german food made to order, and I would recommend trying those instead.

The service was very friendly, and the Berlin atmosphere was nice. However, we weren't that satisfied with the food. It lacked attention to flavor. The chefs should try a sample and ask themselves what could be improved. Ideas come quickly. My crepe with chanterelle mushrooms had way too much Philadelphia cheese in it. Who wants to eat a whole package of that in the evening? My companion also had a lot of ketchup and mayo on her fries without having ordered them. She didn't like it; she prefers fries plain. Another person at the table was overwhelmed by the warm cucumber salad. It's a very old-fashioned way of preparing cucumber salad, but does anyone still like it? It used to be such a poor man's meal. Unfortunately, we wouldn't go back.

A very nice and cozy place near Mayer Park. The street is buzzing and the traffic is limited. Even if the restaurant is next to a fire station it's still a talkable atmosphere for the outdoor tables. It seems popular and fill up quickly. The food is great, the risotto was soo good 5/5! So wa she schweinsbraten.

I haven't experienced such friendly service in a long time. It's amazing. It makes you feel at home. Caring, friendly, and attentive. I'm looking forward to the next time and the delicious food.

Location molto carina. Personale cortese e gentile. Servizio veloce. Il menù non è ampissimo ma ha piatti tipici. Le pietanze erano abbastanza buone anche quella specie di pizza che pizza non è... Ottimo anche il dolce! I prezzi sono medio-alti ma la qualità è buona.

Very nice location. Courteous and kind staff. Fast service. The menu is not very extensive but has typical dishes. The dishes were quite good even that kind of pizza that is not pizza... The dessert was also excellent! The prices are medium-high but the quality is good.

Utilizó asesor de viaje para sugerir algunos restaurantes, y se encontró con esta belleza. Reservamos en línea y cuando llegamos nos ofrecieron una opción de zonas de estar. La noche era muy cálida así que nos sentamos afuera (tenga en cuenta que mucha gente fuma) Como esta era una ocasión especial estábamos buscando algo de auténtica cocina berlinesa. Esto lo colocó clavado, platos de calidad servidos. Puede recomendar el cerdo o pescado.

Oh yeah, the food is down-to-earth, and the prices are okay for the location. They're not reinventing the wheel here, but you can eat here with a good outcome...

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our meal here. Schnizel was crisped to perfection yet juicy on the inside. The roast beef was extremely tender and full of flavor as well. On top of that the staff here were extremely nice and made us feel comfortable on our first night in Berlin. Would highly recommend

Serveras parts of the order were misses and we expected a more salt and savoury meal. Schnitzel and potatoes where ok but sauce did not live up to expectation and service was unfortunately not very good.

Very nice, rustic restaurant with predominantly German cuisine. Our food (roast beef, cream of asparagus soup and cheesecake) was very good. Large portion for the main course. The service was very attentive and friendly. The price/performance ratio is right. Unfortunately, parking spaces are in short supply.

Had an excellent meal at Oderquelle last night. The food was superb, as was the service from two lovely ladies, who were very friendly and accommodating to our 11 year old son. The decor is very charming, and has the feel of an old Berlin Gaststätte in all the right ways. Price performance was very good considering the amount of fresh Spargel that arrived, and the wine recommendation for said dish was also spot on. Will definitely visit again when back in Prenzlauer Berg.

A Sunday lunch in this randomly chosen restaurant during a walk! We opted for the schnitzel and the roast pork. The latter served with 2 crusty bread (serviettenknödel) which we had never tasted before and which we found very good. The staff is kind and smiling. The environment is typical German and rustic. You can pay by card.

We were well entertained with 10 people and everyone was extremely happy with the food. We want to book again and are looking forward to it.

During our recent stay in Berlin, we enjoyed the culinary delights at Oderquelle for two consecutive evenings. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere. The menu consists of classic German dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The portions are very generous and the prices very reasonable. The schnitzel or pork in beer sauce is highly recommended The service is excellent; the staff are friendly and very attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Oderquelle is an absolute must for anyone looking for authentic German cuisine in an attractive environment. We look forward to enjoying this great restaurant again on our next visit to Berlin.

It was relatively quiet on a Saturday. Service was very good food was slight disappointment for the price. We hoped to get schnitzel but it wasn’t in the menu. Overall good experience.

Food and drinks very tasty. Price-wise, completely okay. It was just very loud for me, but it was also very crowded.

Price/performance ratio is a joke. For the hefty prices there is no delivery and unfortunately it only tastes okay. As a vegetarian it was very dissatisfying.

There were six of us and we had a nice cross-section of what was on offer, from roast pork to leg of goose, pike perch and duck, and we all enjoyed it very much. The wine was delicious, the beer was fresh from the tap and the bill was more than justified. Thank you.

Very cozy german restaurant, super great atmosphere if you’re coming in from the cold. The waiter was super nice (and funny) and the food was delicious! It is a bit on the pricier side, but it makes sense for the location, so great if you’re looking for a casual traditional german lunch

You serve me a €16 schnitzel in berlin, that looks like a map of Italy, and a French sauvignon blanc that tastes like it's been stored in a molasses barrel, we got issues. Add some very poor bratkartoffeln, and shxts about to get messy. The service is good and quick. So you can leave and start forgetting

Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff (the colleague in particular found a solution for us despite the house being fully booked). Berliner Molle is a real recommendation, the food was good and tasty. Gladly again, even longer.

Ich finde es immer wieder lecker! Bodenständig und gemütlich - guter Service, gute Weine. Was will man mehr. Ganz günstig ist es nicht - aber Qualität kostet eben. Wenigstens einmal im Jahr (zu Gans oder Ente) muss es einfach sein!

Saturday 11/3/24 around 7 p.m. We two married couples would like a table. Nice waitress almost takes us there. When she asked what we wanted, we: something to quench our thirst and eat a little something. Nice waitress froze! She has to ask. Asked the arrogant wannabe who didn't need our money and answered the question with no. We left the pint, which wasn't even half full. No matter. At the Italian restaurant around the corner we were hospitably welcomed and served, were able to quench our thirst and munch on tasty snacks. 140€ including a 20€ tip later on the way to the hotel we passed the dry Oder spring again, the same guests were sitting at their tables as two hours ago.

Friendly staff. Their English is great and the menu is also in German and English. Food was very good. Nice crispy schnitzel. Authentic.

Il ristorante si trova in una zona vivacissima ma non caotica, piena di locali carini ed accoglienti: Oderquelle è uno di questi. Abbiamo iniziato con una tarte flambée, poi la classica cotoletta impanata con patate e cetrioli ed infine strudel di mele con gelato alla vaniglia e caffè: tutto eccellente. La cantina è ben fornita, ma noi abbiamo scelto “alla tedesca” con birra a volontà. Il personale è gentile e competente: di noi si è occupata Cristina, sempre sorridente e disponibile a spiegarci gli ingredienti delle portate. Complimenti! Da raccomandare agli amici!
