Habel' s Lindenwirtin in Berlin

Wir haben jedes Restaurant in diesem Berliner Viertel genau unter die Lupe genommen, und dieses hier verdient wirklich eine Auszeichnung für das beste deutsche Essen in Berlin. Das Restaurant selbst hat eine wunderbar gemütliche und authentisch deutsche Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte und alles andere ist ausschließlich auf Deutsch, also sollten Sie Ihre Übersetzungs-App bereithalten, falls Sie kein Deutsch sprechen. Die Speisekarte ist einfach, aber es gibt nur die traditionellsten deutschen Rezepte, an die sich Ihre Großeltern noch erinnern werden. Wir bestellten Schweineschnitzel, Rinderroulade und Leberkäse. Zu den Gerichten gab es unglaublich leckere Bratkartoffeln mit Speck und Zwiebeln. Das Essen war genauso köstlich wie auf den Bildern. Dieses Restaurant ist eine echte Institution. Während unseres Berlin-Aufenthalts hat es uns so gut gefallen, dass wir gleich zweimal dort gegessen haben und es kaum erwarten können, wiederzukommen.

Wie immer Superschöner Abend. Service sehr gut, Essen auch sehr gut.

Es scheint ein wenig die Zeit stehen geblieben. Wir haben nur Kaffee getrunken. Der war gut. Kleiner, schattiger Vorgarten. Sehr gut besucht. Allerdings überwiegend 60+. Drinnen etwas düster.

Super nette Mitarbeiter und super Köche. Die Kalbsschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln waren erste Klasse.

Es ist wirklich schade, dass die angenehme Atmosphäre durch das Verhalten des Personals, das offensichtlich weder seine Arbeit noch die Gäste mag, getrübt wird. Unhöfliche, laute Antworten, die einen selbst bei einfachen Fragen bloßstellen sollen. Das Essen ist zwar gut, aber so ist es das nicht wert. Es dauerte ewig, bis ich das Essen bekam, und als ich nach mehr Brot fragte, meinte die Bedienung, sie hätte es für die Suppe gekauft (???).

Gele kleine Kneipe mit rustikalen Charme und Mega leckerer Hausmannskost. Durch Zufall entdeckt und für super empfunden. Nette Bedienung.. Schade das sowas über kurz oder lang ausstirbt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder vorbei wenn wir in Berlin sind.

Kleine Karte aber alles sehr lecker.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient und konnten leckeres Essen genießen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Und ja Bratkartoffeln auf die 1.

Ein fantastischer Ort. Die Kartoffeln und die Schweinshaxe waren himmlisch. Auch der Nachtisch war beeindruckend. Mir hat die Einrichtung sehr gut gefallen, so richtig deutsch 🇩🇪 🤍

Ich habe dieses Lokal unterm Strich sehr empfehlenswerte Lokal während meines Berlin-Urlaubs besucht und hatte keine Tischreservierung. Leider habe die deshalb einen Platz auf einem Barhocker direkt an der Theke bekommen, obwohl noch Tisch-Plätze frei waren. Abgesehen davon ist die Einrichtung recht gemütlich und das Essen, das ich hatte, war hervorragend. Als Vorspeise hatte ich gebackenen Camembert mit frischem Brot, Butter, Preiselbeeren und Schlagsahne. Zwei große, kross gebratene Stücke Camembert, ein sehr leckerer Einstieg. Im Anschluss ein hervorragendes Schweineschnitzel Wiener Art, schön dünn und mit knuspriger Panade, dazu fantastisch gebratene Bratkartoffeln, schön knusprig mit Speck und Zwiebeln sowie einen frischen und knackigen gemischten Salat. Die Bedienung freundlich, auch angesichts des Umstandes, dass eine Geburtstagsgesellschaft dort war und dementsprechend viel zu tun war. Ein empfehlenswertes, gut bürgerliches Lokal mit wirklich leckerem Essen und auch einigen Altberliner Gerichten auf der Karte.

Der HAMMER !!! Von außen eher unscheinbar, aber innen eine Wucht! Ambiente toll, Essen MEGA und der Service SUPER !!! Bei der überschaubaren Speisekarte kannst du sicher sein, dass die Speisen frisch und mit viel Liebe selbst gemacht sind. Sehr zu empfehlen die Bratkartoffeln. Die Eisbeinsülze sucht ebenfalls ihresgleichen, die dazu gereichte selbstgemachte Remoulade ist ein Gedicht! Beim Berlin-Besuch UNBEDINGT hier essen und vorher reservieren nicht vergessen! Beste Zwiebelsuppe und ein tolles Kalbsschnitzel. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und flott unterwegs, trotz voller Hütte. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren gestern, nachdem ich ein paar Tage vorher bei einer sehr netten Mitarbeiterin einen Tisch reserviert hatte, dort zu Zweit Essen. Ich möchte dir Bewertung nicht in die Länge ziehen. Das Essen war sensationell lecker, schön heiß, sehr gute angenehme Portion und anschaulich angerichtet. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant. Man sollte, wenn man dort Essen gehen möchte, kein Problem damit haben dass man dort etwas enger sitzt. Ich würde dort immer wieder Essen gehen, weil das Essen wirklich sehr sehr lecker ist. Wer hochwertige Hausmannskost möchte, sollte sich diese Adresse merken.

Nicht besonders netter Service und man muss fast eine Stunde warten bis das Essen da ist. Empfehlen und wiederkommen würde ich nicht.

Wir waren im Dezember zum Gänse und Ente essen bei der Lindenwirtin. Das Essen und Portionen war gut, Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Nach dem Essen waren wir noch am Tresen für ein gemütliches Bier. Daher Ambiente auch gut. Schönes Berliner Lokal ohne Touries und Schnickschnack. Danke für den netten Abend und gerne wieder

I ate the BEST fried potatoes of my life here ❤️👌 Yes, the menu is manageable because 95% of the food is prepared fresh. So if you want a super cozy, authentic Berlin restaurant with delicious, fresh food, then this is the place for you. The veal schnitzel is also legendary! The prices are fair. A clear recommendation for this restaurant! A spontaneous visit on a Friday evening around 6 p.m. We got a table right away, and after a few moments, a friendly waiter greeted us with menus. Our order was taken promptly, and the drinks weren't long in coming. Good food takes time, and that's precisely why you shouldn't expect it to be served after five minutes. After a reasonable wait, the food was served, and we weren't disappointed. Good German cuisine! Decent portions, fresh and delicious on our plates—what more could you want to be happy? We were very satisfied and would recommend it again.

We've been coming here for years, now with a new owner and new staff. Super friendly and helpful, very entertaining. The food is excellent: Wiener schnitzel, wafer-thin, superbly breaded and seasoned—it couldn't be better! Chanterelle mushrooms with an omelet, also very appetizing and good, a pork schnitzel, just as well breaded, fried potatoes with bacon and onions, just as you'd expect. Desserts: strawberries with vanilla ice cream, chocolate pudding with vanilla sauce, pancakes with vanilla ice cream—everything was great!

We had a very good meal there. The roulades were truly good, home-style cooking. The schnitzel was beautifully breaded. The best fried potatoes I've ever had in a restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and "Austrian." The Hotel Brandies recommended eating there. Thanks.

Nothing to complain about, really. The four of us paid around €130. The food was very good. The staff was nice and friendly. The fact that you can't get a glass of tap water was the issue of the evening for us.

This restaurant is located on a busy street. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. Its menu is varied and features traditional dishes. I had a veal schnitzel with fried potatoes. The portions are large, and the fried potatoes were particularly tasty. The service was busy yet very friendly. The prices were reasonable for the location.

Berlin cuisine, rustic decor, pleasant service.

Good German cuisine at reasonable prices. To make it worthwhile, the seating is very close together, and you're constantly in physical contact with the people sitting next to you, both physically and in conversation. The female waitress (tall, slim, with glasses) is monosyllabic and directs you to your reserved table as if it were the exit. Smiling is completely out of the question. The male waitress, on the other hand, was a pleasant contrast. The portions are generous. And where else can you get a 0.5-liter wheat beer for under €4?

Had the schnitzel with fried potatoes, it was very tasty. The rollade and the boiled beef were also delicious.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience: it was very full, so the four of us sat down at a small table. We ordered 4 schnitzels, we were told that the meal would take over an hour. To pass the time, we took out cards to play something. We were forbidden from doing so, with the reprimand that it wasn't a pub. I would understand if we just sat there, took up a large table, and only ordered drinks, so they didn't make any sales from us. Or when we misbehave. Or we are dressed extremely inappropriately. But none of that was the case. There were drunk Hertha fans with their robes sitting 2 tables next to us - no problem for us, but please don't forbid us from playing cards with the reference to “pub”. We paid for our drinks, canceled the meal and left. That's why I can't rate the food.

I was at the Lindenwirtin again today. I was lucky; I was there before the storm. It's always a good idea to make a reservation. They serve simple, but high-quality German cuisine. Yes, sometimes there's a long wait. Everything is freshly prepared. But... the wait is worth it. The service is very attentive. All in all, highly recommended. I'll be back.

Had the Rinderrouladen a couple times. Better than most I've tried but still not great. Nice little restaurant with comfortable enclosed patio.

I ended up in the restaurant based on a recommendation. I ordered goose breast with red and kale. First the positive review. Red and kale are great! The sauce was very tasty (unfortunately a bit little). The dumplings could also be a little bigger, or maybe they should come in threes. Now to the goose breast: the portion is very large, the skin is crispy and tastes good. Unfortunately the meat was very dry! (which greatly limited the enjoyment of the food). The service is friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable. If you visit the location in the cold season, it is advisable to put on a sweater because the room temperature is unfortunately only 19°C amounted to!

We ate a wonderful goose here, really good and German-made. The food was solidly prepared and served in a friendly manner. We can only recommend this as a place with good German, clean food

After around 60 minutes of eating the very rich and tasty meal on the last day before the shutdown at the turn of the year 2024/2025, we two couples between 50 and 70 years old left the dining area and took a seat at a round table in the counter area. Here we started playing cards - "swimming or cracking" for cent amounts. After just a few minutes, the service staff kindly asked us to stop playing cards. When we asked, we were given the reason "the boss doesn't want that". Berlin, a cosmopolitan city! The service staff emphasized that they didn't understand this either and apologized. We immediately finished the card game, drank our glasses, paid and left the inn. It's a shame, another place of rustic and cozy Berlin hospitality less for us.

German cuisine with excellent fried potatoes; these were very crispy and not so greasy. The Leberkäse also had a very loose meat mass and the portion was generous.

Samstag Abend vor den Wühlmäusen die Lindenwirtin aufgesucht. Meine Wahl fiel auf die Lindenwirtin, da es dort Jever und Köpi vom Fass gibt, was will man mehr. Kleiner Tisch am Tresen, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, Bier erstklassig serviert. Zu Essen bestellte ich mir Leberkäse mit Bratkartoffeln und Spiegeleiern. Ein einfaches Gericht, kann man aber auch schlecht zubereiten. Dies war der beste Leberkäse mit Beilagen aller Zeiten, geht nicht besser. Lokal wird 100% wieder aufgesucht, war auch gut besucht, scheint nicht nur mir zu gefallen. Also, nix wie hin zur Lindenwirtin!

Also was ich vorweg nehmen möchte, dass die Bedienung sehr nett war. Aber ich musste auf mein Essen über eine Stunde warten......es kam nicht. Auf Nachfrage sagte man mir, es läge an den Bratkartoffeln, die dauern. Als ich dann gehen musste, wurde mir das Essen, was ich nicht hatte berechnet!!!! Jetzt kann jeder sagen, hätte ich nicht bezahlt, aber ich war so genervt und hatte keine Lust auf Stress, wollte einfach nur essen, aber daraus wurde nix. Schade. War zum ersten Mal da, aber sicher auch zum letzten Mal.

Visited on 11/30/24 evening. Very cozy, small inn. Classic ambience. The other guests were also very open-minded and nice. The entire staff, but especially our waitress, tall and attractive, was very courteous and exuded a pleasant calm despite the full house. Overall, you quickly feel very comfortable. The map is clear and structured. I would have liked to have had a sauce to go with my schnitzel. But it was also very tasty.

Enttäuschend… Ente soooo sehr trocken, Kellner verschüttete Rotwein über unser Hemd und der Gipfel- 1,5 cm Glassplitter im Dessert… 😱 Der Kellner entschuldigte sich, brachte Dessert und Glassplitter in die Küche, dann behauptete die Chef-Kellnerin, sie habe keinen Glassplitter gefunden- wir wurden also als Lügner hin gestellt. Also, nie wieder! Das Weihnachtsfreundetreffen -Wiener, Berliner und Potsdamer- kurz zusammen gefasst….

This is still a home-style restaurant. Berlin friendliness included 👍 The farmer's breakfast was powerful but manageable. Fried potatoes with fried eggs were great. As we all know, German cuisine. Oh, one more thing, the menu is clear but I think it's sufficient. The drinks menu is even larger.

Nella zona di Charlottenburg sta questo delizioso ristorante berlinese. Propone una cucuina tipica molto ben eseguita. Wienerschnitzel davvero ottima e cucinata alla perfezione. Ottime birre e personalle molto gentile. Aseconda dei giorni meglio prenotare.

Abzocke. Auf der Tageskarte wird ein Gericht mit Kartoffelsalat angeboten. Aussage der Bedienung der Katoffelsalat ist noch nicht durchgezogen! Daraufhin fragte ich nach alternative die Bratkaroffeln zu bekommen. Aussage ja. Bei der Abrechnung wurden ohne darauf hinzuweisen 3€ mehr abkassiert.

It's been a long time since I last had such good German food, so let's start with that. Despite the restaurant being busy and many reserved tables, we were assigned a table. The welcome from the “boss” was warm and we were advised that the food might take a little longer, which I think is completely fine. Nevertheless, the order was taken quickly and the first Berliner Weise was delivered. We chose the broth, onion soup and beef roulade. The starter came quickly and the soup was simply delicious 😋, there was also a baguette. After the delicious soups, we were looking forward to the main course. The joy was not in vain, as already written at the beginning. The beef roulade is simply amazing and the red cabbage is homemade too, what more could you want. The restaurant itself is in the typical Berlin style, cozy and appealing. The staff are friendly, nice and their hearts are in the right place. Despite the very busy restaurant, always keep an overview. I can only recommend Habl's Lindenwirtin and it certainly won't be the last time I've been there. And that’s where we try the farmer’s breakfast😉😉.

The food came quickly and was super tasty! I had schnitzel with fried potatoes which was by far the best I've ever had! The quantity is perfect! The taste is super delicious! I even got an extra sauce even though it wasn't actually included. We'd love to come back! :-)

Tasty beer. But the staff is terrible. The waiter was very unfriendly. And said that if we do not order food, then we can sit for an hour and not to hold their table. Although there were not many people in the restaurant. This is the first time I have seen such a thing, that a client was chased out of an establishment. I don't recommend it

Small restaurant on the street, in the middle of the city, there was no beef roulade on the menu and when we ordered coffee, the coffee machine was broken. The food was ok, but it was all frozen food. The service was nice and the restaurant was quite busy. Can you do it if you don't have high expectations.
