Oberer Stadtplatz in Deggendorf

It's a decent place, but what's going on there? I wanted a doner kebab today, but nobody was home. What's happening?

We were there for dinner. We first stood around in the restaurant for 10 minutes without any staff showing up. The "waiter" who then took over was very difficult. Unfortunately, we can't say anything good about the food either. The portions were huge, but the taste wasn't great. My salad on my appetizer platter was drenched in dressing, and the fried vegetables were unfortunately very salty. My partner's schnitzel tasted of rancid butter and was inedible. We also told the staff this. We wouldn't recommend it and won't be coming back! EDIT to comment: Unfortunately, I have to rate the room; I can't ignore it. And there were a lot of vegetables left on my plate. Maybe next time I'll take a closer look before claiming I ate everything; the plate was still half full when I handed it back!!! And even if I didn't like it, I have to eat it so I don't starve. I certainly won't go to another restaurant when I'm already under time pressure! And the fact is, the schnitzel didn't taste good! It was inedible for us, which is why three-quarters of it went back to the kitchen. Maybe they should start being friendlier to their guests; that would really help their overall image.

We were always satisfied, and the food was always very good. Unfortunately, we discovered today that the Akropolis is no longer there. Does anyone know the reason for this?

I always order the best possible food from Puzzle Food, all homemade, but some people don't understand that it's not frozen food; everything is prepared on-site, and they don't have the patience for this food, which has color, taste, smell, and is also very large, especially the extremely large burgers. I respect the people there for what they do...

Every time I come to Deggendorf I come to have breakfast at Amelie, but today I was disappointed with the Breakfast for 2 people, which used to be very rich, with homemade marmalade, and now they have cut back on the portion and put jam bought in jars! In my opinion, it would be better if they increased the price and kept the quality as before! It was the last time I come for breakfast! Too bad, because the location is central and welcoming!
