Spontan sind wir dort vorbei gekommen und uns sofort in das gemütliche Flair direkt am Marktplatz inspirieren lassen. Zuweisung vom Tisch und die Aufnahme der Getränke erfolgte sehr zügig und zuvorkommend. Gerne kommen wir hier nochmal her um den freundlichen Service zu genießen.

Wir waren übers Wochenende in Deggendorf und waren an zwei Abenden hintereinander hier essen, weil das Essen und der Service einfach TOP ist !

Super Lokal mit super Lage, preislich fair und geschmacklich sehr, sehr gut – kommen gerne wieder!

Sieht schön und gut, aber ehrlich gesagt... es ist übertruert. Aber das verstehe ich noch. Was mich extreeemmm gestört hat ist, dass Service zu mir immer unfreundlich ist, mehrmals mit mir frech geredet haben und der Kellner stellte mir eine Frage (wieder frech) obwohl er hinter mir gestanden ist. Ich gehe sehr gerne und oft zu Cafés und Restaurants und gebe sehr gerne gutes Trinkgeld, aber zum ersten mal bin ich richtig enttäuscht worden, und werde hier erst dann wieder kommen, wenn Service netter ist. Ich verstehe das es auch vom Tag abhängig sein kann, und dass ich vielleicht schlechte Zeitpunkt getroffen habe, aber hier war ich 5-10mal, und es war nie eine besonders gute Erfahrung.

Servicewüste Deutschland. Bedienung war nie am Tisch. Aschenbecher kam nie an. Meinte 10 Euro Trinkgeld zu bekommen. "Passt so oder?". Portionen werden verhältnismäßig kleiner mMn. Spar ich mir in Zukunft

Waren leider sehr enttäuscht, nix für den kleinen Geldbeutel und geschmacklich nur einen Stern!

Wir waren zum Frühstück in der Brasserie Amelie in Deggendorf und sind jedes Mal begeistert. Die Tischreservierung am Telefon lief unkompliziert und freundlich ab. Unser Sitzplatzwunsch wurde nach Möglichkeit berücksichtigt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Frühstück ist wirklich ein Traum: guter Kaffee, leckere Saftschorlen, frisches Baguette – alles einfach rundum gelungen. Besonders positiv ist uns das Rührei mit Scampis aufgefallen: Hier waren tatsächlich ausreichend Scampis enthalten, was man ja leider nicht überall sagen kann. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an unsere äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung Paula. Sie hat mit ihrer herzlichen Art unseren Aufenthalt wirklich versüßt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Die Brasserie Amelie ist eine Institution am Deggendorfer Stadtplatz und für mich ein Pflichtstopp bei jedem Besuch in der Innenstadt. Das Café fängt das französische Flair wunderbar ein und verbindet es mit der niederbayerischen Herzlichkeit. Lage & Atmosphäre (Lokaler Kontext): Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein: Direkt am historischen Stadtplatz, mit Blick auf das alte Rathaus, sitzt man hier im Herzen von Deggendorf. Das Café ist sichtlich beliebt und belebt – ein Zeichen für seine gleichbleibend gute Qualität. Trotz des regen Treibens haben wir ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Platz bekommen, was für den gut organisierten Service spricht. Kulinarik & Kaffee: Die Auswahl ist toll und die Qualität überzeugt. Es ist der perfekte Ort für eine entspannte Pause. Für Kaffeenerds ein kleiner Hinweis: Einen Flat White sucht man auf der Karte vergeblich, aber die klassischen Spezialitäten wie der Cappuccino sind hervorragend und machen das mehr als wett. Wer ein Haar in der Suppe suchen will, findet hier kaum eines – das Gesamtpaket stimmt einfach! Fazit: Ein sehr nettes, atmosphärisches Café, das den Stadtplatz bereichert. Freundlicher Service, tolles Ambiente und eine unschlagbare Lage. Volle 5 Sterne und eine klare Empfehlung für Deggendorf!

Freundliche Mitarbeiter und leckeres Essen . Ambiente passt auch aber manche Tische/Plätze doch sehr eng zum sitzen und essen.

Unakzeptabel. Leitungswasser, 500 ml … 4,20 Euro. Was bilden Sie sich eigentlich ein? Sind Sie in Monaco? In Dubai? Ich wünsche Ihnen den schnellen Bankrott, damit Sie nicht länger die Notlage der Menschen ausnutzen können!

Leider war fast alles ziemlich enttäuschend. Wir gehen nicht oft Essen und haben uns deshalb sehr auf den Abend gefreut. Zuerst mal das Positive, das Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber wenn man dann sieht wie wenig es ist, dann ist es irgendwie egal wie gut es war, weil man hinterher nicht ansatzweise satt ist. Wir hatten das Rindersteak NY Style und das Surf and Turf Rinderfilet für je 28,50€ und naja es war wirklich sehr wenig. Für den Preis erwarte ich da schon ein bisschen was anderes. Wir hatten uns dann Zuhause das restliche Essen von gestern warm gemacht. Auch der Service war nicht wirklich gut, erst nach mehrmaligen auffordern kam jemand zum abkassieren. Ob wir noch was trinken wollen, wurde auch nicht mehr gefragt. Platzangst darf man da drinnen auch nicht haben, es ist sehr eng, teilweise wurde das Essen und Trinken über die Köpfe anderer Gäste überreicht, weil die Bedienungen nicht zu den Tischen dran kamen.

Jedes Mal, wenn ich nach Deggendorf komme, frühstücke ich im Amelie. Heute war ich jedoch vom Frühstück für zwei Personen enttäuscht. Früher war es sehr reichhaltig, mit hausgemachter Marmelade, jetzt ist die Portion kleiner und es gibt gekaufte Marmelade aus dem Glas! Meiner Meinung nach wäre es besser, den Preis zu erhöhen und die Qualität beizubehalten. Das war definitiv mein letztes Frühstück dort! Schade, denn die Lage ist zentral und das Lokal ist sehr einladend!

You can sit inside or outside. The brasserie is located right on the Upper Town Square. The food and service are excellent. It's also not too expensive for what's on offer. We felt very comfortable here!

Worst service in all of Deggendorf. Servers take half an hour to arrive, and I wait 45 minutes for drinks. I can't stand it anymore. I'll add that the billing also takes an extremely long time because they bill you in writing? On the bill??

On one of the first sunny days... ...we met a friend in Deggendorf. Since the “Amelie” is very centrally located and the underground car park is directly under the square, we went to the “terrace” and were lucky to get a free space straight away. Unfortunately, it took a while before we could place our order and there was also a bit of a wait until the drinks and food were brought to us. And then there was another wait because the cutlery and sweetener didn't come straight away and apparently couldn't be brought straight away due to the rush. This was a bit unpleasant, especially since the coffee and hot food suffered as a result. The cake was average, the pinsa was good.

... haben wir uns mit einem Freund in Deggendorf getroffen. Da das „Amelie“ sehr zentral liegt und die Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Platz liegt, sind wir hier auf die „Terrasse“ und hatten Glück gleich einen freien Platz zu bekommen. Leider hat es etwas gedauert, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten und genauso gab es etwas Wartezeit, bis uns die Getränke und das Essen gebracht wurden. Und dann gab es nochmal etwas Wartezeit, weil Besteck bzw. Süßstoff nicht gleich mit kamen und anscheinend aufgrund des Andrangs auch nicht sofort nachgebracht werden konnten. Dies war etwas unschön, zumal der Kaffee bzw. das warme Essen dadurch gelitten haben. Der Kuchen war durchschnittlich, die Pinsa gut.

Ambiance very nice. We're not eating ours now. The arugula looked. You can also see it in the photo. Spaghetti itself was very spicy because of the taste. There was definitely too much spiciness. A meal was completely forgotten to be served. And the staff could really be friendlier. And you could also ask from time to time whether everything is okay or whether something else is needed to drink.

The real juice shop waited 30 minutes for service. Food was burned downstairs. Employees speak extremely quietly and always had to ask. Never come back

Had dinner there last Saturday and was very satisfied. It's been a long time since we had a very nice and courteous service - Paula, I think her name was. At least the best there.

I have often been here to spend time eating together and relaxing. The atmosphere is great because you get a direct overview of the central city center. You are served immediately, with a large selection of drinks and food. The menu could be expanded a bit, but I think there are already very tasty buffets and drinks. Definitely worth a visit with friends or to the café alone. The waiting times are quite short, which I find surprising given that many customers spend their time at this restaurant. There is space outside and inside to make yourself comfortable. My recommendation: sheep's cheese with olives, fresh herbs, gratinated and salad. (11.60€) Customer requests are highly appreciated. I visit this restaurant from time to time and am not disappointed.

We ate at Amelie on Valentine's Day, but unfortunately we were pretty disappointed this time. The portions of meat/fish are getting smaller and this time the baguette was missing from the salads, which is usually served with it as usual. Unfortunately my partner wasn't full, even though we also had an appetizer. The waitress later cashed us out and, after paying, abruptly turned away and left without saying a word. She neither thanked us nor said goodbye. It's a shame, because Amelie has always been one of our favorite restaurants.

My girlfriend and I went for a “night cup” at Amelie this evening. We entered the restaurant at 9:20 p.m. and were greeted at the door by the service employee with the words: “But we're closing soon!” I then replied, for a drink. She then let us through. At 9:45 p.m. she checked in on us without asking and took our table lamp with her. Apparently her name was Eva. She also did the same thing to all the other tables. Deggendorf service desert. Unfortunately you all have no competition in Deggendorf! Otherwise you would lose this impossible behavior. And you wouldn't hire such completely unambitious staff. It is extremely damaging to your restaurant.

Very snobbish place with nothing special. The staff was very rude. All in all a bad experience.

Actually, I've always been happy here, but unfortunately the last visit was a disappointment. After we ate and had a drink, we wanted a second drink. Even though there were five waiters present who kept looking at us, noticing our empty glasses and ignoring our hand signals, it took 45 minutes for a waiter to come and that was only because I made my presence known loudly. Finally we paid because we were fed up. No please, no thank you, no goodbye. I have no idea what we did wrong that day, but it's a real shame because I enjoyed eating here.

The two of us were here on a Wednesday in the run-up to Christmas. At around 7 p.m. the restaurant was almost full, but the food was still served quickly. We had a tomato salad with red onions - sensational dressing!, and the salmon with vegetables and potatoes. Very tasty, but also quite expensive. I had never seen a wine spritzer for 7.50 euros before...

Always worth a visit. Top service. Fast. Still high quality. Just like the food. The terrace offers a wonderful overview of part of the lower town square. Price-performance ratio is more than positive. Drinks and food selection 1A.

Great location. Ok breakfast. Good service. For a change we tent to Brasserie Amelie, Cafe Wiedemann opens only at 1000. The scrambled egg portion appears from very small eggs, as a result the ham in it was also little. Every other place in town serves a better portion. The bread basket however aims to compensate for it. Worse was the croissant, small and of mediocre quality. Coffee was ok. The atmosphere is ok, attempts are made to give this a cheap(ish) french touch. Worst are the very small stone top tables. As a result, value for money not so wow and this will certainly not be one of our more frequented breakfast places. We tend to go at least once if not twice a week the last months.

Always worth a visit. No long waiting times for the food. The service checks out every 20 minutes later and everything is right. I recommend the cheese platter as a snack with meals.

The only place where you can eat a large flammukuchen for a decent price. You can sit outside and enjoy the city centre when the weather is sunny and not too cold.

Approximately an year ago, there was an insect in my salad, and when we informed the waitress about this, she behaved as if nothing happened, not even an apology. Worst restaurant experience ever in my life.

As always, a relaxed oasis in the midst of the troubles of Deggendorf. Nice staff and fast service. I love the Pinza and the salads are great too. For us, it's part of every DEG city stroll.

Visited this restaurant on a business trip. Enjoyed the outdoor seating with a view of the town square and found the service excellent—staff were friendly and attentive. The Caesar salad and Italian pasta were both well-prepared. Recommended for a pleasant dining experience.

We were there for 2.5 hours. Order was taken quickly, food came quickly. Unfortunately the salmon was completely dry, and the salad with it was good. We didn't ask if we wanted another drink or if we liked it...plates were simply cleared away...okay for once in a while.

Wenn man ab 21 Uhr kommt, schauen einen die Bedienungen genervt an, weil sie früher gehen wollen. So geschehen an einem Montag nach einem Sprachkurs, an dem eine Freundin und ich noch einen oder zwei Absacker trinken wollten. Uns wurde das Licht nach und nach abrupt ausgemacht, obwohl offiziell noch bis 24 Uhr geöffnet war, wir mussten kurz vor 22 Uhr leider gehen. In dem Lokal gibt es schon sehr lange keine gute Atmosphäre, ist halt kein inhabergeführtes Lokal, das Personal macht, was es will, weil es nicht gesagt bekommt, was es soll. Speisen und Getränke sind beliebig, langweilig und das Geld nicht wert. Nie wieder!!! Auch niemand anderer aus unseren Kursen. Da gibt es soviel Besseres in Deggendorf, und ich hoffe, dass die Betreiber endlich schliessen, denn sie verstehen nichts vom Geschäft.

I've ordered salads several times now and never once have they been done right. When I ordered without tomatoes, I got it with tomatoes, twice they forgot baguette, twice I didn't get any dressing. Today I ordered a Caesar chicken salad that simply didn't have any parmesan or croutons in it at all, the bowl was half empty and that for €12.50. Sorry but that's cheating. I can totally understand that things can go wrong sometimes, but not every time! I'm definitely not coming back.

After a long time we were back in Deggendorf to visit the Christmas market. Since we wanted to combine it with a delicious lunch and a stroll through the city, we went to Amélie. We can highly recommend the restaurant because the price-performance ratio is very good. The restaurant is centrally located on the town square - in the former Ratskeller, it is well equipped and tidy. The service is very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The menu is well filled and I think there is something for everyone. Quote from my son (8): It's a long way - but it was worth it for the delicious food. We can do it again." Conclusion: This was certainly not our last visit to the Brasserie Amélie. 😊👍🏼

Good food, fair prices and friendly waitresses

The service was very bad. Long waiting time, unfriendly service, especially the blonde with tattoos. This was very rude and insulted me when I asked a normal question. The salad I ordered was very dry. Apparently they have to save on the dressing. I've been here several times, but the service and quality has been declining a lot lately. It's a shame because I really enjoyed being here.

We went to Brasserie Amelie for lunch. The ambience is very nice, the vault is partly visible, the decor is reminiscent of a French café, art prints on the wall everywhere, everything is very attractive. We ordered pinsa and tarte flambée, each with a small salad and a drink. The pinsa was excellent, the bread baked very crispy, in my opinion the vegetables could have been in the oven a little longer. The tarte flambée was also good, the cheese was very spicy, the ham was also very good! The side salad had a bit too much dressing on it, but my wife found it a bit too much vinegar. Finally, two cafés rounded off lunch. We'd love to come back.

Pinsa (ähnlich einer Pizza), Flammkuchen und Tiramisu sehr zu empfehlen!

Bei großer Hitze im Freien unter den Sonnenschirmen Kaffee getrunken, Bruschetta gegessen und später noch einen Kinder-Sonderwunsch (Kakao auf Haferdrink-Basis) problemlos erfüllt bekommen. Alle aus dem bedienenden Team waren sehr freundlich.

Ein tolles Frühstück zu einem erschwinglichen Preis. Das machen wir bestimmt bald wieder.

Jedes Mal wenn ich nach Deggendorf komme, gehe ich ins Amelie, das Essen ist super gut und vorallem viel auf den Teller, der Sommer drink ist auch so gut. Vorallem mitten in der Stadt, ist für mich jedesmal ein Erlebnis.

Meine Bestellung zur Abholung wurde storniert, weil Mitarbeiterin sagt , dass 3 mal wurde Bestellung nicht abgeholt. Normalerweise bin ich jede Wochenende in Amelie und wenn steht das von diesem Geschäft kann man Essen online bestellen das heißt Was ihre Mitarbeiterin macht ist unprofessional.Ich verstehe das Ihre Mitarbeiterin Pecht gehabt aber das ist nicht Problem von anderen Gästen. Das ist ganz unangenehm und peinlich nicht für sie sondern für Restaurant. Ich hoffe man wird wieder nie mit so einer Situation konfrontieren.

Mitten in Deggendorf, hervorragende Lage, fantastisches Essen, schneller und freundlicher Service und btw die besten Cocktails - wir sind begeistert!

Die Nudelgerichte schmecken jedes Mal unterschiedlich. Haben die Köche kein einheitliches Rezept? Warum muss man in die Tomatensauce kiloweise Magi oder was da für Glutamatpulver drin ist hinzugeben? Verdirbt den ganzen Geschmack. Pinsa, Flammkuchen und Salate sind gut und halten den Standard. Bzgl. dem Service: Eva, Maria und noch zwei Mädels wissen was Service bedeutet im Gegensatz zu den Hilfskräfte die meiner Meinung nach eine Schulung nötig hätten.

Immer wieder gerne. Heute gab es Pinsa. Einmal mit Frutta de Mare und einmal mit Schinken und Salami (ganz klassisch). Beides extrem lecker. Auf den Fotos seht ihr, wie gut sie belegt wurden... Alles perfekt. Eine Pinsa kostet 10 Euro,was ich als sehr günstig erachte.

Gehe sehr oft zu Amelie, und eigentlich immer sehr zufrieden. Aber heute Vormittag eine sehr unfreundliche Bedienung, sagte mir um 8.40 dass sie erst um 9:00 öffnen und ich mich auch noch nicht draußen hinsetzen dürfte, weil das die anderen Leute anziehe. Darauf hin setzte ich mich, dann gegenüber ins Cafe, wo ich schon freundlich vor Öffnung bedient wurde und sah, wie andere Menschen sitzen bleiben durften gegenüber. Unglaublich unverschämt, Stammkunden so zu behandeln. Sonst komme ich immer gerne.
