Great hotel if you're traveling through. A friendly welcome, a good dinner (not great), a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a good breakfast.

We pulled off the highway while passing through to find a good, home-style restaurant. This one was pure chance. It was highly recommended. The kids' schnitzel was super juicy, no pork taste, and a huge!!! portion. The roast beef with onions was absolutely perfect. Absolutely top-notch value for money, we'd go back anytime.

Because it is a busy location it was fine.

We had the pleasure of staying here overnight on our Danube bike tour. The staff is very customer-oriented and helpful. There's a locked room for bicycles, which also offers charging facilities for e-bikes. For Danube cyclists, it's a perfect place for a rest and overnight stay, as it's located in close proximity to the Danube Cycle Path. We felt very welcome. Thank you very much!

A little way off the motorway which was good. Good food in the restaurant and fair breakfast. Service could gave been better. Air conditioning or fans needed especially at this price. In a farming area so quite s few tractors about.

I chose this place as I was travelling and it was close to the Autobahn. Easy to get to, and reasonably priced rooms. The people running the hotel were friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of parking. The dining room is cosy and the food on offer is good quality and well priced (I've added a picture of my Currywurst). There is a bar which is also well priced and service for drinks and food is quick. The rooms are large, with clean modern bathrooms and the rooms are generally well maintained and comfortable. I found this a very nice place to stay whilst travelling ( I went from here past Frankfurt, Cologne and across the border to Belgium after a good night's sleep here!). And would recommend.

As part of a milestone birthday, I was able to easily and conveniently reserve a room here via email. Since I had a 2.5-hour drive, it was perfect for me. The atmosphere was great, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the food was amazing ❤️ My single room was on the upper floor of the building. The standard room was perfectly adequate; if you want luxury, you'll have to stay in a 4-5* hotel and have no place in the countryside. I found it chic and perfectly adequate for me; it had a bed to sleep in, a TV, and a bathroom. The booking, including the breakfast buffet, was perfectly adequate for me. Everything was fine. We stayed there for a few days with a bus tour group. The food was good. We expected simple fare. And we were pleasantly surprised. Low prices and great dishes. The rooms were good. We expected simple rooms. And we had a balcony with evening sun. The nearby highway hardly bothered us. At the end of the trip, the innkeeper treated us to a delicious schnapps and wished us a safe journey home. We returned satisfied and well-rested. We'd be happy to come back again. We stayed for 1 night to rest during our car trip from Türkiye to Brussels, the reason for our choice was because it was close to the highway. First of all, the settlement is very small, beautiful, lovely, peaceful. Since the markets around close at 8 and we checked in at 21, we were hungry. The breakfast did not satisfy us, I woke up hungry. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom and beds were clean. If our route back to Türkiye is the same, we can stay again to rest. In short, I recommend it.

Rooms were clean, the furnishings of the room were a bit rustic but quite good. Bathrooms were recently renovated. Large hall with vehicles where you can also park your bike. Breakfast absolutely fine. Food in the restaurant was also delicious, cheap and large quantities 👍🏼 Location is in a village, there isn't much around it. Price performance outstanding!

On the way to Austria with a great pit stop in hotel Landgasthof Zwickl. Neat and clean basic rooms and that is fine, also considering the price. Food is excellent: the schnitzel with ham and cheese and a Goulash soup as a starter => the best! Also a warm welcome with dog.

I/We can't really understand or understand so many "negative" reviews. Let's start with the friendliness of the staff. No matter how stressful it was, everyone still had a friendly smile and the moment an answer was needed. If you look at the rooms, you also have to take into account that it is a "country inn", anyone who expects 4* de luxe here has the wrong idea of ​​the term country inn. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished. Nothing more but also nothing less. From what we were able to experience, the inn itself offers an unbeatable price/performance ratio if you book half board. Honestly, given the price, I wouldn't have been able to complain if there had been liver loaf and fried potatoes every evening. But no, every evening we had a super delicious, freshly cooked starter soup, a crisp, fresh, sumptuous side salad (which would have easily been charged at €4.90 - €6.00 ​​extra if ordered separately), a very variable main course (from the ultra- sumptuous Viennese schnitzel plate to the sensationally seasoned and incredibly tasty boiled beef in horseradish sauce and parsley potatoes) also in vegetarian variations; when I cooked boiled beef I had genuine tears of happiness in my eyes. And there was always a delicious dessert (everything from Bavarian cream to apple strudel) that rounded everything off. Not a trace of the “finished products” mentioned in other reviews. We're not talking about fries or croquettes. Making them fresh every time would be a bit too much of a good thing. Of course, even with the dessert, it should be obvious to everyone that a country inn doesn't make its own ice cream. But they are all high-quality convenience food products, and you can taste it. There is nothing from the discounter or supermarket. Since you can look directly into the kitchen from the dining room, you could see what the chef was preparing and how he did it. Some of the reviews gave me the feeling that these guests were either in a completely different guesthouse or were generally giving negative reviews. Honestly, people, take a close look at the price/performance ratio before you complain. For snack prices you can get honest country inn food here. And a very tasty beer for little money. We were definitely not here for the last time. That was the beginning of a great friendship. Dear Zwickl team, many thanks to all of you, you gave us 6 unforgettable days. We would be happy to come back any time as long as you can tolerate us. When we visited the Zwickl country inn again (this time with a family group - 5 people), we were again able to experience hospitality in its purest form. Every request was catered for, no matter how complex it was. The price/performance ratio was once again good. Once again we were shown from the kitchen what hospitality can taste like. Thank you very much, dear Biebl family, the 3 nights with you went by far too quickly. Very good Landgasthof Hotel Zwickl

The hotel is very noisy. Sleeping in is impossible because other guests don't know how to behave at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. Consideration / decency is missing!

We stayed there for one night on the way to vacation in July. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will stop there again next year.

Spent 1 night there in transit! Food was tasty, just too hot with 48 people! Rooms were simple but clean! A bit old-fashioned!

We were passing through by bike and wanted to have dinner there. Unfortunately, the food can't really be recommended. I'm really sorry but it just wasn't what we had imagined. The waitress was dead sick, coughing and sniffling. (If you're that sick you shouldn't serve!) Unfortunately it's a bit disgusting when she touches the plates and glasses. She tried hard but the cheese was just a bit.

The best country inn/hotel I experienced on my vacation. We went on vacation to the country inn Fahrrad. Everyone but really every employee, boss, etc. were more forthcoming than before. A wave of unfriendliness almost threw me backwards out of the entrance. Why are you making faces like that? I mean Germany, and Lower Bavaria in particular, are known for their lack of service - what's happening here is another issue in its own right. A pity. Do something else if you don't feel like it anymore!

Was there with the family after a funeral. All I can say is the waiter was quick and friendly! Served about 25 people quickly! Food was good!

Kedves személyzet, egyszerű de tiszta volt a szoba, csak jó tanácsként aki itt megszáll, az vigyen magának szobapapucsot, mert ebben az időszakban hideg a csempe, szőnyeg az nincs. A reggeli egyszerű, de az étlapról amit rendeltünk vacsorára az finom és bőséges volt.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal dort. Die ganze Atmosphäre läd zum wohlfühlen ein. Nette und freundliche Gastgeber und Angestellte. Zimmer sehr sauber. Tolles Bad. Frühstück reichlich und lecker. Abendessen ein Genuss. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Auch unser Hund war willkommen. Klare Empfehlung

Wir waren als Wanderer unterwegs und hatten Durst. So haben wir uns gefreut den Gasthof zu sehen und wollten rasten und etwas trinken, gegen 15:40 Uhr. So sind wir durch die weit geöffnete Tür hineingegangen. Nach kurzer Zeit kam eine etwas mürrische Dame. Wir fragten: „Können wir bei Ihnen etwas trinken?“ Sie sagte: „Nein, wir öffnen erst um 16:30 Uhr“. Dabei stand sie quasi direkt neben Bar und Kühlschrank. So herzlos und blöd sind wir selten abgefertigt worden. Wir sind dann durstig weiter gezogen. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus.

Wir waren heute das erste mal im Landgasthof einen Biergarten gibt es auch wo wir gerne waren super Essen das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Toiletten sehr sauber auch das muss mal gesagt werden obwohl das gerne unterm Tisch gekehrt wird. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

Nem volt sötétítő függöny az ablakokon, sem reluxa. A karnis tartókonzolok meredtek ki a falból. A fürdöszobai tusfürdőadagolóban nem volt tusfürdő, régen kifogyhatott már.

Essen im Restaurant war gut und preiswert, Chefin leider sehr unfreundlich, zunächst wurde die Reservierung trotz Anruf nicht notiert, als wir dann ankamen wurde eher patzig mitgeteilt, dass man von der Reservierung nichts wisse. Beim Bezahlen der Rechnung wirkte die Chefin ebenfalls unfreundlich und überfordert, mussten jeden Posten mehrmals durchgehen. Im Ergebnis Preis/Leistung beim Essen echt in Ordnung, die Chefin geht leider gar nicht, wenn man keine Lust auf Gäste oder Geld verdienen hat, sollte man den Laden schließen aber nicht unfreundlich zu Gästen sein. Werden da nicht mehr hin gehen, keine angenehme Atmosphäre

Wir waren vom 7.8.bid 11.8.22 im Gästehaus. So eine tolle Unterkunft. Es wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt, wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und die Chefin des Hauses so eine nette freundliche Frau, die Bedienungen einfach spitze.jederzeit wieder..

2 x geweest voor één overnachting. Eten is prima. 'S morgens een ontbijtbuffet, 's avonds kun je kiezen uit 2 menu's en dat krijg je op een bord. De douche was waardeloos, geen waterdruk en dan koud en dan weer heet water. Er zat een schuine kant aan één kant van het bed. Wat lastig in en uitstappen was. Vele malen mijn hoofd gestoten. De kamer was niet superschoon. Veel spinneraggen. Geen airco en 's morgens om 5 uur dendert er een goederentrein langs. Slapen was aan de ene kant van de straat, eten was aan de overkant van de straat

Zum zweiten mal beruflich hier.Saubere, normale Zimmer. Freundliche Chefin und Bedienung. Leckeres Essen und ein kühles Blondes, was will man mehr. Passt, komme wieder.

Da bin ich bei dem Lumpen Verein dabei. Und Mitglied werden ist jederzeit möglich. Kostet im Jahr nur 15,00 Euro €. Es werden auch Tagesausflüge angeboten oder Radtour usw...!

Nettes Lokal. Ganz in meiner Nähe. Kann es somit zu Fuß erreichen. Gute Küche.

Ich war mit meinem LKW verzweifelt auf Parkplatzsuche. Hab dann mal spontan im Wirtshaus angerufen und gefragt ob ich auf ihren Parkplatz übernachten dürfte. Ich wurde mit offenen Armen entfangen und durfte dort im lkw übernachten. Man hat für mich extra Baumaschinen auf Seite gefahren, damit ich mit meinem Fernzug da hin gepasst hab. Selbstverständlich habe ich dann gut gegessen und getrunken. Das Essen war spitzen mäßig! Frisch, reichlich und keine extrem überladene Speisekarte. Preis Leistung war wie man es erwartet und das Personal sehr freundlich. Alles im allen eine super Adresse! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Ein toll geführtes Hotel nette Bezitzer und sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einfach Spitze.

Das einzig positive: spontan verfügbar und bequeme Bettwäsche. Das wars auch schon. Nachdem wir von einer 8 stündigen Autofahrt endlich ankamen (ca. 16:00) und unsere Tochter den mini Spielplatz vorm Haus entdeckte, wurden wir mehrmals unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass das Restaurant inkl. Spielplatz erst um 17:00 öffnet... im Zimmer angekommen die nächsten Überraschungen: Staubballen, Haare und Schimmel... auf der Klopapierrolle waren nur noch ein paar Blätter und Seife fehlte komplett. Abendessen gab es dann in der Gaststätte nebenan. Das war die definitiv beste Entscheidung. Die gute Bewertung für das Restaurant folgt noch... Unsere letzte Frage bevor wir ins Zimmer kamen war, ob es wlan gibt. Natürlich nicht! Wir kommen nicht wieder..

Viele Zimmer im Gästehaus. Die sind ganz ok. Keine Seife auf dem Zimmer. Sonst sauber und in der Gaststätte gutes Essen. Nette Bedienung. Hatten keinen Fön dabei und konnten einen an der Rezeption bekommen. Danke dafür. Radler willkommen. Extra Unterstellplatz in einer Scheune.
