Ich hatte Geburtstag am 09.01 und haben wir für Ihre Restaurant entschieden. Wir sind mit unserem Sohn da, er ist 3 Jahre alt und dynamisch. Wir haben den Gedanken ob er die anderen stören, aber der Service hat uns beruhigt, er hat perfekt bedient, liebevoll, freundlich, rücksichtsvoll und aufwirksam. Zu meinem Geburtstag habe ich noch ein Nachtisch geschenkt bekommen, es war eine tolle Überraschung ❤️. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch mal bei Ihnen vorbeikommen, da Sie unser Herz gewonnen haben. ❤️

We love the above, it is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. The view is incomparably beautiful, the service is incredibly great and the food is a delight ♡ We always come here for my husband's birthday and it's just a wonderful experience every time :) I can personally recommend the lamb!

Das Beste an diesem Restaurant ist die Aussicht. Für Ausblivk ist eine 5, alles andere ist eine 2,sowohl das Essen als auch Service Wir eaten schon in vielen gehobenen Restaurants und Skybars,aber dieses Restaurant mit dem Essen entspricht nicht mit den Preis und die Leistungen.

It was a delicious meal with excellent, courteous and professional service from Daniel. Breathtaking view.

We were upstairs with a group of 8 people. The location is great, the view is great, but that's it. The service is not very well trained and as the evening progressed it even became chaotic. We thought in advance that the food would be good given the prices, but it was a complete disappointment. The advertising with celebrity chefs is certainly a marketing gimmick, because the decoration of the dishes was very nice, but the preparation was simply not appropriate for the ambience, but simply superficial, flat, unexciting, not surprising and far from justifying these prices. About the starters: The parsnip cream soup was unseasoned, the fish and shrimp ceviche was compressed and therefore like a block, the king prawn crocantis were 3 measly (8-12) prawns without any kick for EUR 27 (!!!) and the 3 Grilled scallops for EUR 31 are a real achievement! About the main courses: On the dry aged beef fillet there was half a grilled, re-seasoned avocado (no sauce) for EUR 50, sautéed beef fillet cubes were ok, but no more, the fried turbot was just a maximum of 100 grams of fish with one sliced Scallops. A portion that was too small even for a lady for EUR 42. The crowning glory was the rack of lamb for EUR 46 (roasted without bones, dry, old) with a "lump" of pasta. By far the worst rack of lamb I have ever eaten. The desserts were normal desserts. The wine selection was annoying. We had the Doppio Passo Primitivo for EUR 60, a wine that I can now find in the grocery store for between EUR 6 and 8! This is simply fraud. So stay away. We had a nice ending when we got the cars out of the underground car park and EUR 25.80 for 6 hours after paying EUR 1,000 for 8 people is a fitting, very negative aftertaste. So stay away from the restaurant. A drink on the terrace in summer is certainly cool. But that's it.

I am eternally grateful for the quick and friendly response in the event of my son's intolerance to one of the food ingredients. The manager that evening was very professional and friendly. The food and atmosphere in this restaurant are simply to die for. We will definitely spend many more lovely evenings there.

I was really excited. The food, atmosphere and view were perfect. Yes, it is a bit dark and yes the prices are a bit higher, but I really enjoyed every course.

This is literally my “highest” review. It takes place on the 38th floor of the Melia Hotel high-rise. When you get out of the elevator, you immediately step onto a balcony that offers a truly breathtaking view of the Frankfurt skyline. This is incredibly impressive, especially in the dark. Even as a Frankfurter, I have never seen anything comparable. This special impression continues throughout the entire restaurant. You also have this fantastic view from most of the tables. And an equally fantastic meal fits seamlessly into this beautiful ambience. The price is certainly appropriate for the level of the restaurant and the quality of the food. With perfect service. This visit is one of those that you will probably never forget in your life

Waren da zuzweit, Ambiente sehr schön. Essen top. Wein, Wasser, Hauptmenü=110€. Ist nicht teuer. Bedienung sehr nett

Fantastic view and good food. 500 EUR paid for two with champagne in advance and caviar as a starter. Main course 2x rack of lamb plus wine, gin and tonic and a little something around it. All in all, quite upscale. You definitely pay for location here. It was well attended. The service could have been a little more attentive. All in all, within reason.

Very chic restaurant with a fantastic view. Food was very tasty 😋. Good & nice service. Was here on business. Therefore no information about the prices. Probably not cheap 😉, but ambience and quality have their price.

Zum 18. Geburtstag des Sohnes sollte es etwas besonderes sein. Wir hatten den Tisch auf 18:00 Uhr gebucht und an dem Tag vorsorglich wenig gegessen - um hier das angesichts der exklusiven Speisekarte zu erwartenden, vorzügliche Dinner in Ruhe und bei wunderbarer Aussicht so richtig genießen zu können. Es kam anders. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, unsere Jacken und Mäntel wurden uns abgenommen. Einen Tisch am Fenster konnten wir leider nicht bekommen - das hätten wir bei Reservierung extra angeben müssen. Schnell erhielten wir die Speisekarten und wurden gefragt, ob wir einen Cocktail wollten. Wollten wir und bestellten. Beim Studium der Weinkarte fiel auf, dass der Primitivo zum Standardangebot bei jedem Rewe gehört. Er ist gut - aber 60€ für eine Flasche, die im Supermarkt knapp unter 10€ kostet: diese Blöße würde ich mir als Restaurant mit diesem Anspruch nicht geben. Wir bestellten. Die Vorspeisen waren Gegrillte Avocado mit Burrata-Creme (an Avocado kann man nichts falsch machen, die Creme war seltsam geschmacksneutral) und Fisch und Garnelen Ceviche (Ansage: etwas pikant - klar, bestand es doch gefühlt zur Hälfte aus Zwiebeln. Ein eventuell vorhandener, feiner Geschmack war so nicht zu entdecken. Ein wenig wie Fertigsalat aus der Kühltheke). Die recht lange Wartezeit auf Cocktails und (dem leckeren aus verschiedenen Brötchen mit Hummus und Olivenöl bestehenden) Amuse geule überbrückten wir mit Gesprächen, die in dem nett beleuchteten aber aufgrund der verwendeten Baumaterialien ohne irgendwelche akustischen Dämpfungsmassnahmen eher an eine Bahnhofshalle denn an ein feines Restaurant erinnernden Ambiente zusehends schwieriger wurden. Der Aperol Spritz war (für mich bisher) der teuerste aber bei weitem nicht der beste, den man in Frankfurt bekommen kann. Die Hauptspeisen hinterließen einen zwiespältigen Eindruck. Das Lammkarree war rundum lecker. Feiner Geschmack und mit ordentlich Trüffel versehen. So mag ich es. Der Hummer war eher enttäuschend, aber da ich noch nie vorher Hummer hatte, fehlt mir der Vergleich hinsichtlich Geschmack und Menge an Fleisch, die in so einem Tier ist. Die Piquillo-Paprika kam auf einem Bett aus Kartoffelpüree, das so schmeckte als ob es der Weineinkäufer beim Rewe noch schnell aus dem Regal der Fertigprodukte gezogen hat. Herbe Enttäuschung. Gut: nach dem Gespräch mit dem Restaurantmanager erhielten wir Nachtisch und Dessertwein aufs Haus. Wir entschieden uns für Pana Cotta, Crema Catalan und Churros - die allesamt lecker und sehr ansprechend zubereitet waren. Unsere Jacken und Mäntel mussten wir auf dem Weg nach draußen selber suchen. Fazit: Getränke und Speisen fast durchgängig und zum Teil weit unter dem zu erwartenden Niveau. Bahnhofshallenambiente erschwert gepflegte Gespräche. Mit knapp 300€ (ohne Nachtisch, siehe oben) völlig unangemessen bepreist. Service freundlich aber nicht auf dem zu erwartenden Niveau. Es wird bei diesem einen Besuch bleiben.

One of the Restaurants with the most beautiful view and interior I‘ve ever been to. The food was not only delicious but also the presentation looked awesome. It is recommended to go in the evening because then the view is the most beautiful.

Wunderbarer Sonntagsbrunch, den wir bei angenehmen Ambiente sehr genossen haben. Die Speisen sind lecker, die Aussicht ist fantastisch und die musikalische dezente DJ Untermalung passt ebenfalls. Bei der Qualität des Services sowie am Nachschub von sauberen Tellern und Besteck ist leider noch etwas Luft nach oben, aber das schmälert das Erlebnis nur unwesentlich. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die Parkgebühr als Nicht Hotelgast, die mit über EUR 20 zu Buche schlägt. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder!

Tolle Location mit sensationellem Ausblick, den man allerdings auch in den Preisen deutlich spürt. Der Service war leider enttäuschend: unaufmerksam, langsam und wir mussten mehrfach lange darauf warten, bestellen zu können.

Hervorragendes Essen und ausgezeichneter Service. Die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Für die Akustik im Raum sollte investiert werden, es war sehr laut.

Herrliche Aussicht und köstliche exklusive Atmosphäre. Fabelhafter Service und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Ein wahres Vergnügen. Gutes Essen mit einer feinen Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Zum Nachtisch könnte es durchaus eine Käseplatte statt nur Süßigkeiten geben und die Weinkarte ist relativ bescheiden und ohne Angabe der Jahrgänge der Weine. Ein weit über dem Durchschnitt liegendes Restaurant, in dem die Atmosphäre, das Essen und der Service erstklassig sind. Man bekommt alles zu einem sehr guten Preis.

Ein Go-To Place wenn man in Frankfurt City ist. Geeignet für jeden Anlass und mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht!

One of the most beautiful and best sky bars in Frankfurt! I've been here many times and have never been disappointed, there's really something right here. The service is top! The food is particularly good and my highlights are always the cocktails. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. Of course, the ambience and the beautiful view are the cherry on the cake. Highly recommended!

4 weeks ago I ate at the restaurant with a friend and made a reservation. When I arrived they picked up my jacket at reception. As we finished our meal we thought we had had a wonderful evening in a beautiful place. However, when I went to collect my jacket from reception after leaving the venue, we and the staff member discovered that my jacket was not there and had been taken by someone else. I gave the staff the photo I took that day wearing my jacket along with my contact information so they could find it. Although a week passed, I did not receive a call back. When I asked on the phone, the staff asked me to explain the matter again via email. After the email they said they couldn't find my jacket and that it was my fault. It is a restaurant's responsibility to ensure the safety of life and property of its customers. How can it happen that a jacket left at reception gets passed on or lost? After all, I need the jacket. The answer disappointed me very much: because they said that it was my own fault. Now I have neither a jacket nor a small compensation. Very unfortunate. Therefore, I can recommend not to leave anything there because, according to their email, the cloakroom area is not monitored by cameras. Nevertheless, the food was tasty. I don't want to visit the restaurant again and I can't recommend it.

Overall, we had a nice evening at this restaurant, but there were also a few points that disappointed us. The welcome was very friendly and we got a great seat by the window. When making the reservation they even asked for special requests, whereupon I asked for a red rose and candlelight at the table. Unfortunately this was not fulfilled. While the candlelight was understandably rejected due to the risk of fire, the rose could easily have been provided - especially in a restaurant of this caliber. The waitress was extremely friendly and, in addition to the menu, recommended homemade specialties that were not on the menu. Unfortunately, we found a foreign hair in the bowl of olive oil that was served to us with the bread. We complained about it and it was responded to immediately, but something like that shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this category. The food itself was very tasty, but unfortunately the evening was marred by inappropriate behavior. Shortly after dessert and cocktails, the receptionist came to us, asked if everything was OK and if we would like anything else. At the same time, however, he indicated that we should give up the table because other guests were waiting. This was very disappointing as we were about to leave anyway. Another point of criticism was the bill: €95 was charged for a menu, even though this price was neither on the menu nor mentioned before. That was a shock, especially since we paid a total of three figures for a two-hour stay. Despite these shortcomings, I can recommend the restaurant because of the good food and friendly service, but next time I will definitely clarify some details beforehand.

What a wonderful evening with friends, high above the rooftops of the city of Frankfurt. A good reason to start this evening with a #Negroni. A classic, perfectly mixed drink is served. The skyline glitters and we enjoy the fabulous dinner. A little break from everyday stress! It's nice that we were able to spend this evening together at this fabulous place.

Fabulous view, decent food, expensive for what they offer, good music, but what raises the score is the service, a Garzón called Daniel, one of the best I have seen in recent times, attentive, friendly, knows about wines and the meals. I repeat, excellent view, you are not going to find dazzling food but El Garzón fills that void, congratulations

Wenn man ein Moment Auszeit sucht um sich mit dem Partner oder Freunde zu treffen ist echt ein wunderschönes und empfehlenswerte Restaurant. Tolle Erlebnis 🥂

Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Abend in diesem Restaurant, aber es gab auch einige Punkte, die uns enttäuscht haben. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, und wir bekamen einen tollen Platz am Fenster. Bei der Reservierung wurde sogar nach Sonderwünschen gefragt, woraufhin ich um eine rote Rose und Kerzenlicht am Tisch bat. Leider wurde dies nicht erfüllt. Während das Kerzenlicht wegen Feuergefahr verständlicherweise abgelehnt wurde, hätte man die Rose problemlos bereitstellen können – besonders in einem Restaurant dieser Klasse. Die Kellnerin war äußerst freundlich und hat uns zusätzlich zur Speisekarte hausgemachte Spezialitäten empfohlen, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Leider fanden wir ein fremdes Haar in der Schale mit Olivenöl, die uns zum Brot gereicht wurde. Wir haben das reklamiert, und es wurde sofort reagiert, aber so etwas sollte in einem Restaurant dieser Kategorie nicht passieren. Das Essen selbst war sehr lecker, doch leider wurde der Abend durch ein unpassendes Verhalten getrübt. Kurz nach dem Dessert und den Cocktails kam der Empfangsherr zu uns, fragte, ob alles in Ordnung sei, und ob wir noch etwas möchten. Gleichzeitig deutete er jedoch an, dass wir den Tisch freigeben sollten, da andere Gäste warteten. Das war sehr enttäuschend, da wir ohnehin kurz davor waren zu gehen. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt war die Rechnung: Für ein Menü wurden 95 € berechnet, obwohl dieser Preis weder auf der Karte stand noch vorher erwähnt wurde. Das war ein Schock, besonders da wir insgesamt einen dreistelligen Betrag für zwei Stunden Aufenthalt gezahlt haben. Trotz dieser Mängel kann ich das Restaurant aufgrund des guten Essens und der freundlichen Bedienung weiterempfehlen, werde aber beim nächsten Mal sicher vorher einige Details klären.

Im speziellen Alex hat uns behandelt wie die einzigen Gäste war unfassbar aufmerksam trotz voll besuchtem Restaurant hatte er zu jedem Tisch eine Verbindung. Die übrigen Mitarbeiter waren ebenfalls extrem freundlich, aufmerksam und das alles ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Selten so einen guten Service gehabt. Die Speisen kamen auf vorgewärmten Tellern und waren allesamt von spitzen Qualität. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Die Location ist toll und man hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Skyline von Frankfurt. Dafür das das Lokal Mittags nicht sehr voll war, ist der Service nicht sonderlich aufmerksam gewesen. Das Essen war gut aber nicht toll. Das Entrecôte und Filet waren zu durchgebraten. A den Trüffelnudeln zu wenig Soße.

Innovative food in a wonderful atmosphere - quiet, fabulous staff with great knowledge of the food and wine parings. Michelin should review this restaurant It's high up so have a fabulous over the city. A highlight for our stay in Frankfurt.

Were here for a business lunch. The view is really great, especially when it gets dark. Service was great, very courteous and attentive. The starter (scallop) was really incredibly tasty. The main course (lamb ragout) was unfortunately quite weak in direct comparison.

Dear Oben team, as a passionate connoisseur, I and my friends with whom I was your guest are deeply disappointed. The appetizer we ordered, cevice with tempura shrimp, was an absolute failure. The poor waiter who had the job of mediating between us and the kitchen had a really tough job because the chef didn't want to show himself. The tempura shrimp was INEDIBLE and even dangerous to eat as they forgot to remove the entire shell. We ordered the starter 3 times and in all three cases it was exactly as described. We kindly pointed out the enormous faux pas in the hope that this dish would be saved for us. Unfortunately, they got an absolutely outrageous answer that the shrimp was intentionally shelled and that you should suck it. Mind you the shrimp is in a tempura coat!!!! In short, there was no apology, the dish was not taken off the bill and no other attempt was made to save the whole thing. We won't come back and won't recommend you to anyone. An absolute tragedy!

Die Ambiente ist einmalig und bezaubernd, TOP Lage! Man kommt rein und ganz Frankfurt liegt vor einem, wir waren sehr beeindruckt. Wir waren gleich um 12.00 Uhr im Oben Restaurant und hatten den Eindruck gehabt, dass sie noch nicht ganz bereit waren. Es war sehr warm draußen und wir haben gefragt, ob wir draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen können aber es ging nicht, die Tische waren nicht gestellt, schade, denn der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Das Mittagessen war super lecker! Die Auswahl der Speisen ist zu Mittag sehr überschaubar, ich hätte uns mehr Vielfalt gewünscht. Die Servicekräfte waren über die Herkunft der Weine nicht ganz im Bilde.. Aber wir gehen bestimmt erneut hin, aber vlt. dann am Abend! Super empfehlenswert!

Great restaurant with panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline. The Sunday brunch with buffet is unforgettable. We were happy to finally find a sophisticated restaurant that offers something like this. Highly recommended and delicious. Nice ambience, nice staff and very good musical accompaniment by a D.J. Wir wollten schon länger einen richtig schönen Platz für einen anspruchsvolleren Sonntagsbrunch finden. Jetzt haben wir ihn gefunden. Waren im Restaurant "Oben" mir wunderbarer Aussicht und exzellentem Buffet und netter Bedienung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall und es ist etwas besonderes.

Ich war hier mit meinen Eltern zum Sonntagsbrunch und wir waren wirklich rundum zufrieden. Neben der atemberaubenden Aussicht erwartete uns ausnahmslos gutes Essen, schöne Hintergrundmusik von einem DJ und wirklich sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt definitiv. Es war ein wunderschöner Nachmittag. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Facilities and view of the skyline are great! The food arrived cold and tasted a disaster for the price they charged… Totally overpriced and not justified. You only pay for the view, nothing more. Would just recommend a drink, nothing more.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and escorted to a table with a fantastic view. The view was simply fantastic and perfect for enjoying the evening in a cozy atmosphere. The food was equally outstanding: the dishes were not only a visual highlight, but also a hit in terms of taste. Everything was freshly prepared. I'm already looking forward to my next visit👍

Simply a great hotel with a chic bar/restaurant and an absolutely fantastic view (15th floor). Including terrace/balcony to sit outside and have something to eat. No canteen flair, super nice and courteous service team. Great. Clear recommendation.

We had been wanting to get there for a long time, but we couldn’t because we came on a day when it was closed, on Monday and Sunday. A beautiful bar with a gorgeous view of the city, located on the 15th floor. Excellent, attentive and olfactory service. Delicious food, the dish we tried we really liked, croquettes with mussels and parma. But I’ll leave minus one point because of the cocktails. Mine was still okay, but my friend’s cocktail was just soda with lemon, very bad. And it cost 14€, which is outrageous. The total bill came out to 40€.

Das Oben Restaurant besticht vor allem durch seine Lage in der 15. Etage des Melia-Hotels und dem sehr guten Service. Hier gilt es den verbindlich-menschlichen, sehr freundlichen und unaufdringlichen Empfang, des sehr professionell und zugleich familiär vertraut wirkenden, Empfangschef Alexander besonders hervorheben. Tatsächlich habe ich eine so angenehme Atmosphäre beim Empfang noch nie erlebt. Das Lob, das der Küche vorauseilt, wirkt jedoch übertrieben. Die Jakobsmuscheln werden von der beigelegten Sauce geschmacklich erschlagen. Und auch die den Hummer begleitende Sauce wird selbst auf Kuba besser kreiert, geschweige denn von Frankreich. Positiv kann der Steinbutt in Kombination mit grünem Spargel erwähnt werden. Und auch bei den Riesengarnelen stellt die Beilage einen interessanten Spannungsbogen her. Insgesamt wirkt der Preis für die Küche jedoch leicht überteuert. Man tröstet sich in dem Fall mit der guten Aussicht und dem angenehm freundlichen Service.

Ich habe nur auf Taubenscheisse geschaut. Die Fenster waren dreckig und verschissen. Da vergeht einem das Essen.

Gebucht haben wir zum 20 Hochzeitstag. Es kamen Glückwünsche vom Kellner und dazu ein Aperitiv. Es war ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Abend. Das Essen war Hervorragend. Unser Kellner hat sich auch super um uns gekümmert. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Aug 20, 2024 Unfortunately I have to say that the reservation didn't work out and my girlfriend and I were treated as third class guests. We were told whether we wanted to eat inside or have tapas and something to drink outside. We said outside to see the great skyline too. After 1.5 hours our table inside was supposedly still not ready. They kept us waiting and said the table was still not ready. I then said at 9:00 p.m. we were leaving. The table was ordered at 7:15 p.m. and we never received it. It's a shame that you are treated like that.
