Yesterday, we went to a restaurant with some friends. Overall, everything was great – the food was very good, and the young waitress was consistently friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. She checked in to make sure everything was alright and really had a knack for good service, even offering to take a photo of our group. However, the older waiter significantly marred the positive impression. He seemed grumpy and disinterested, and only came to our table when we explicitly asked him to. We also overheard him making a pass at the younger waitress, and there was even a heated argument between them. We found this very unpleasant.

I called from the car to see if they could accommodate two hungry guests that evening, knowing the place is packed every weekend. After all, the fridge at home was empty after 14 days of vacation. We chose the restaurant based on the positive Google reviews. We shouldn't have. When we walked in, no one spoke to us for a long time. There were seven of us, including three children, and we had a reservation. After a long wait, someone finally came and showed us to our table. We sat down and waited for half an hour before we had to call the first waiter to order. The lady asked what we wanted to drink. By that point, however, we hadn't received a menu or a drinks list for half an hour. When the drinks arrived, we had to ask for the menu. After another 10 minutes of waiting, we finally got it. We ordered the food, but after ordering, we waited almost another hour. Unbelievable. The fish we ordered came with inedible, over-salted fries instead of rice. The fish was dry and full of bones, and the lamb was also cooked completely dry. The waiter didn't even ask how we wanted the steak – it was automatically served rare. The children wanted dessert. We asked three different servers if the pancakes contained milk, as we are allergic. Two said they would come back to check – no one ever did. When paying, the server waited several times for us to tip. We didn't, which was followed by a dark look. No one said goodbye when we left. I really can't recommend this restaurant.

We've been coming regularly to Nuri and his family for many years, and it always feels like coming home. Sure, the prices have gone up—just like our groceries—but the quality of the food is still excellent. This team goes above and beyond to satisfy all customers. Honest and fair criticism helps a business improve; everything else is just nonsense! I'm really looking forward to our next visit!😋😉

We had a reservation for 7:00 PM, and two people arrived a little late, but no one came to take our drink orders. Only when everyone was there did someone finally come after we asked for drinks. Then we had to wait a long time for our food order. We even had to ask for a second round of drinks. Very disappointing, as I've never been this bad. The food was delicious, but the service wasn't great. If you're short-staffed, you shouldn't accept larger reservations. He was also quite offended when we confronted him about it. Not very customer-friendly, so he lost those 10 people as customers.

We've eaten there twice now, and I have to say the food is simply delicious. It's a bit more expensive than other good restaurants, but that's no reason for me to stop going. Just across the border, you can enjoy delicious meat dishes here. The vegetarian dishes are also excellent (according to my wife), but meat dominates the menu. The salad bar, which you can help yourself to as much as you like, is also excellent!

Argentinian Steak platter for 3 persons chosen cost 97.50. Quite disappointing... Never got so little meat for so much money. small pieces of meat and a mountain of fries and that for almost 100 euros! Lady put it on the table and immediately ran away again. Glasses were empty and had no chance to ask for mayonnaise. That while only a few tables were occupied. A lot of money for little but the meat was reasonable. Not to be repeated.

Excellent and neat restaurant, we had the gourmet platte for 2 people. Tasty fries and good and more than enough meat. However, there are a few small points for improvement. It may be asked once if you want something to drink, we had been looking at an empty glass for quite some time (you can earn a lot of money on drinks so only extra turnover for you!!). Furthermore, the staff is unrecognizable and the waitresses wear everyday clothes, one of whom has a bare navel with piercing (not a neat appearance) and in between, a cigarette is smoked outside at the outdoor terrace where the guests are eating.. (do that out of sight of the guests if you need it) otherwise the staff is all friendly..

Cosy atmosphere and friendly service. The food was good, but not very special. Very few vegetables, some main courses had nothing. There is a salad bar. But since I have difficulty walking, this is not for me. With a wheelchair you can't even get in here.

It was our first time there, but we'd love to come back. All the servers were very attentive and very friendly. We only had a table at the front of the party room, but next time we'll try to get a quieter table. The food was delicious.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Service is moderate to bad. Initially waited 15 minutes for the drink order and then 35 minutes before someone came for the food. After eating, finally walked to the cash register to pay. Although the food was good, the whole experience is not worth the money. We will not go again in any case.

We, parents with 2 children, were there today for the first time and quite spontaneously. After asking for a free table (evening business on Good Friday), we couldn't have been welcomed more warmly. It was super comfortable. The service was super friendly and attentive. The food was great. The dressing at the salad buffet and the sauces at the meal were particularly outstanding. Fresh, delicious and very tasty. You really can't find that everywhere. There was a lollipop for the children and a Julischka on the house for us. :) Had a nice evening, and for sure.... We'll be back. !

The food was good and so was the service. The atmosphere is rather old-fashioned. What I personally liked was the atmosphere. The rooms were far too crowded. Table to table and chair to chair. Like in the train station. Hardly any space, no sensible separation of rooms. The main thing is to accommodate as many people as possible. I felt very uncomfortable sitting at the next table.

The best restaurant in Ubach Palenberg in my opinion. Very friendly staff and super food. And not to forget, super affordable👍

We went to this restaurant on the Valentine's Day without reservation but the owner of the facility helped us to reserve a table and we enjoyed our dinner in the most beautiful way.He said he is from Bosnian and recommended us to taste the best menu he has in his recipe.We of course listened his advice and had this course enjoyed a lot.For the ones that has suspicions whether this place is good or not,we recommend them not to think without any doubt to go this restaurant due the dinner is well served, personnel is friendly and the expenses are affordable (we,3 people,paid 80 euro with the drinks) when compared with Dutch restaurants.Enjoj your day off with this place.

Delicious steak with pepper sauce!!

A lot has changed at Mujo: first of all, the prices have risen considerably. We previously paid €16.90 for a senior dish, now €24.90! One house wine €6.50, coke per glass €2.80. Herb dip was now a small spoonful of hard herb butter. Add some sauce and mayonnaise? €5.90 extra! Offer of cards was very limited, only about a fourth part. Meat was good but the good memories of it are unfortunately gone.

My family and I visited this restaurant on Boxing Day, unfortunately it was not the experience we expected. The restaurant was packed, it was clear they had crammed as many tables into the space as possible. The staff was not up to it as they were very inattentive (we had to wait a long time for the menu, the table was dirty). The menu was very strange, but that was probably because of Christmas. We ordered the chateabriand for 4 people and got a plate of meat that was enough for up to 3 people, a few vegetables, a little rice and the rest was fries. It was a crime that we had to pay 150 euros for it. After the main course they didn't even offer coffee or dessert, but immediately gave us an alcoholic drink that was clearly diluted. Christmas could be the excuse for the chaos, but at Christmas a restaurant should perform even better, because you want to give people an extraordinary experience. It was unfortunately disappointing.

Tried it yesterday based on the numerous good reviews, but the experience was disappointing. Despite a reservation, there was no table available, the reception was unfriendly and annoyed, but we tried to deal with it with humor - everyone has stress or a bad day sometimes. The card was sticky and dirty inside. You can't tell which drinks are available or which side dishes go with your chosen steak. The food itself was disappointing. The salad on the carpaccio was very oversalted, the fries were limp and cold on the inside. Meat cooked to perfection (English/rare) but also cold. Herbal butter convenience, tasteless and half frozen. Positive: the female service staff is extremely friendly, value for money (portions are enough even for very hungry guests) and a very tasty (apricot?) schnapps on the house and the regular guests seem to like coming here. Maybe we just got the wrong day.

Unfortunately, this rating is a little worse because the owners or the boss on site unfortunately cannot deal with stressful situations. Guests should be served in peace, even if the hut is on fire. You can also calmly say “Please wait a moment, we are full and it may take a short time” and if necessary, put a drink out while you wait”. We've eaten at your place before, it was okay and delicious. We left one day because they didn't want our money. The reason was probably that the store was full. However, I still saw a few free tables. Maybe reserved in her opinion... but that's not how you treat guests. This way of working has nothing to do with gastronomy, it's just a money industry!

To keep the story quite short. We went out for dinner to celebrate our mother's birthday (83) with 12 people. Unbelievable but true, we were there from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. 3.5 hr😑 This is really not possible, especially with someone who is 83 years old. Good luck to the hard-working people there, but in our opinion there was simply not enough staff in the kitchen and service. The salad bar was quite empty and was only refilled very sparingly. Only around 8 p.m. had the last person received his ordered food 🙁. Drinks were substandard and beer ran out at some point. No sting or taste of soft drinks. For dessert they brought the ice cream in phases, also unpleasant when 3 people got it and the rest 10 minutes later and again after that. Luckily the food was quite good, but never again for us. Our patience was really tested waiting. Ps. Mother was offered 1 bottle of wine for her birthday. That was 👍

The service and food is really good. Definitely a recommendation for when you’re celebrating something. The meat is impeccable and the rice you get with some dishes is amazing. In the weekends it might be a little crowded and noisy. The way it’s decorated is old school and fits the vibe and food.
